KFC in South Ribble

Cold chips ,luke warm burger. Gave this place another go after a bad experience 6 months ago.Not a one off,still bad , won't bother again

Absolutely disgusting, ordered a boneless banquet, hardly any chicken, rock hard coating, chips cold and had definitely been reheated. Complained, only to be offered a voucher to re visit!! After reading the reviews on here the place needs sorting out they definitely have a problem.

I’ve never enjoyed this branch of kfc- lazy can’t be bothered staff, rubbish service, awful food, but it’s our local so we just live with it. Tonight I walked in and the guy asked me if he could help only to be almost clothes-lined by the ‘manager’ squawking “we’ve got no chicken, we’ve got no chicken”. On expansion it turned out that they did, in fact, have chicken, but it was only chicken with bones in, but it was made clear that I was not expected to order any of that- eek! The last time I was told this branch of kfc had no chicken was Christmas Eve, when our tradition of kfc and Muppets Christmas Carol was ruined by me being told there was ‘no chicken’ and then having to wait 3 HOURS for a scrap of anything resembling kfc. Embarrassingly bad service, bad food (when you do actually get served) and shocking customer service must make this the worst kfc in the world- congratulations. And,yes, I have complained and received a similar can’t—be-arsed response every time. Time for goodbye I think/hope

Bought a boneless banquet from kfc and the chicken was dry and shrivelled like it had been cooked yesterday and kept warm same with the fries except these were Luke warm and burnt finally the gravy was watery and no flavour Do not go to this store until the staff are taught how to cook and rotate food I now know why there were no customers when we went

Asked for the 6 piece bucket. Showed them the photo from the website. Said it didn’t exist! Would not go again.

I was disgusted by my visit here! me and my friends went for food here and it was horrible we queued for 35 mins before getting our food to find a rat crawling under our table eating all the crumbs. Also when I made a visit to the toilet there was poo all over the wall and toilet seat and it smelt super fishy. then as we walked out the door made a noise that scared my deaf son aswell as finding a used condom stuck to the door. Will never come here again!

I have now been to KFC in Lostock Hall on 3 separate occasions over the last 2 months. Whilst the food is fine, the service and customer experience is severely lacking! Each time I have entered ( usually to an empty shop) and not been acknowledged.. the staff are too busy shouting loudly at each other usually personal subjects that customers don’t need to hear. There is a particularly loud and outspoken girl (red hair) should a fast food restaurant take 25 mins? Love KFC Don’t love Lostock hall KFC

We went here as we have always had great food in the past, pre covid... We ordered a bargain bucket, 6 peices and fries as usual, asked for no legs, thus wasn't an issue as always.. Received food, went to eat it, chips very good, both of us tried the first peice if chicken, omg, what as I can only imagine eating a soggy car wash sponge, took the remaining back to shop, explained what was the issue... no probs,was given four more piece's, and a portion of Chips...🤮 This was worse than the first lot...threw it away, came home, went to KFC complaints site,tried seven times to register complaint, kept throwing me out, have receipt, will NOT BE GOING BACK....🤮🤮🤬 Avoid, Avoid......

An absolute mess!!! And cold. Disappointing. I tried to ring up but couldn't get through. This is the second time they have done this. I will not be ordering again.

Ordered via Just Eat. Food arrived with majority of my meal missing. Tried to call numerous times - no answer. Drove round and they gave me a fresh order. Stupidly didn’t check when leaving and got home unpacked and they had missed items off it AGAIN. Total shocker - Won’t be returning :)

We pre-booked using the online app and took advantage of a half-price bucket offer. Picked it up and brought it home only to find that the chicken skin was dark brown and hard as rock. I actually took it off the chicken meat and banged it on the table. It made a noise and didn't break! The chicken itself was, as a consequence of having been horrendously overcooked, dried out and almost separated from the skin due to shrinkage. We were famished and ate it as the last thing we wanted to do was drive all the way back there and go through the rigmarole of reordering or getting a refund. The chips and gravy were good but they weren't the point of the exercise, were they? In the end, we ate the sides and threw away a couple of chicken pieces as it was so utterly unpleasant. I've been going to that branch for the past 18 years, even over the couple of branches that are closer to my home, because it used to be so good. Now, though, it seems to be staffed by incompetents dragging it down. We've had some below average chicken from there for a year or two now but this was diabolical and the person packaging the chicken into the box surely knew it was barely edible, but equally clearly just didn't care. I'll be going to the closer branches from now on.

Don't do reviews but this is the 2nd time my food has been dissapointing, I'm sure the chicken is sat in the warmer all day if not warmed up from the previous day, we got a 8piece boneless dipping banquet, I kid u not I've never had chicken so dry it almost breaks your teeth, should of had 4 dips but obviously they forgot to put them in, the gravy well what can I say it was like coloured water an pretty much tasted like water. The chips are also disgusting they taste like dirty unwashed potatoes but this is across all restaurants. (Think they would just go back to the original chips) Will not be eating from here again.

The food we have just purchased from here was a really mixed bunch. My partner & I were praising how much better the skin on fries where since they first came out. The gravy & chicken pieces we had were also fab. But .... and a massive BUT.... the burger was so dry and the sprinkling of lettuce & lack of mayo made the burger even harder to swallow. And the hot wings we bought were not only over done I think they had been triple cooked. One of the wings wasn’t even a wing it was a deep fried chicken ankle joint. I nearly threw up when I bit into that 🤢 I was always of the assumption that food that had not been purchased by a certain time was disposed of? I think these had been re heated!! I rang the shop and complained about the quality of my food. The phone wasn’t picked up the first time I rang. The 2nd time I got cut off/I was hung up on and the 3rd time the gentleman on the other end of the extremely bad line eventually offered me a free replacement next time I was in! I honestly don’t know if I want to visit here ever again Not really good enough... awful food and bad attitude is not acceptable

Bought a Zinger boxed meal. The chips were full of black bits AND soggy. The gravy had no taste! How? It’s the nicest thing they sell normally. The burger itself was disappointing too. Soggy and tasteless. All this for more than £6. Rip off. Wont be returning.

3 visits in 3 weeks, it's the only one shop in the area. ( I love kfc chicken) BUT = staff do not care, all ways different staff, not professional to the job, no loyalty to the company to hear them talk behind the counter, hygiene is not important, bargain 10 piece bucket, 6 wings, 2 legs, 2 breast ...but you always get 5 or 6 wings ( no meat ) if I find some other place I will let you know.

Decided on last minute to have a takeaway for tea as not been here for a while. Didn’t have to wait long which was good. Got home only to find that the chips of our 6 piece bargain bucket were inedible. Full of eyes and soggy had to throw all of them away which meant we paid £11.99 for 6 pieces of chicken- ridiculous won’t be visiting again.

Was very disappointed not only is there an issue with rats at the back but the staff had thrown out raw chicken and it was all over the back near the car park. Staff smoking then straight back to serving no hands washed. I decided after seeing all this not to bother eating there never been so disgusted in my life. Kfc you will be having an environmental officer round

I'm not gonna lie, I think people's expectations can be a bit high for a KFC.I like the Lostock Hall KFC. The staff there are always super nice, they're not milling around like jetsam as you see in the Riversway KFC; the gravy's always good, it's open 'til midnight and they actually DO stay open 'til midnight rather than battening down the hatches at 11:30 or earlier like a lot of places working the graveyard shift. Never any faff about giving you what you want if you ask for it, extra sauce, specific pieces etc. It's KFC. It's good. The only beef I do have with the joint is that they close off their seating area as early as 8:30 PM which usually leaves me looking like a Poundland John Steinbeck protagonist, eating my beans on the steps of the unlucky medical centre a few doors up.

I visited kfc lostock hall and was really happy with the food and they actually got my order right so thumbs up but what did drive me mad as it always does is the cue to the tills its just people standing randomly and when i opened the door to help someone i lost my place in the "cue" as they didnt know where it started and it doesnt help when the shop is heaving and theres 1 person serving get it sorted kfc

This has got to be one of the busiest KFC's and it is for a reason.Maybe the high demand means the foods always fresh,well it is.

Come here all the time for takeaway, last came near Christmas, lots of great food options - usual KFC menu, great staff, friendly service and quick turnaround. Parking is at the back so got to walk a couple of mins to get to it but all good, just make sure you can run with your food in the rain! Would recommend!

Visited on Saturday 17th March, I had the box where you get 1 piece of chicken 2 wings , chicken strip, chips and gravy, everything was awful, the drum stick I got basically hardly had any chicken on and the skin was hanging off it was also dry and Luke warm, the wings where rock hard and inedible the chicken strip was ok, chips cold and gravy had a strange taste, very disappointed

As we were in the Lostock Hall area, we decided to visit the KFC for something to eat.

asked for a megabox with a keel got a thigh maybe be the staff need training in the difference between thighs and keels there was a very very small amount of fries in my megabox this is not the first time I have a poor and unacceptable meal from this outlet management of this outlet really do need to carryout quality control and give customers what they actually ask for

This is the worst take away I have ever had. 6 thighs and 4 drumsticks all undercooked and tasting the blood. Don't they do breast now. chips cold and staff are not interested. don't risk this shop. Waste of money. Threw it all in bin after 1st mouthful. Couldn't risk the kids eating it.

Good food, liked the popcorn chicken but the toilets are a bit small and not much seating for big groups but other than that no complaints, keep it up!

But this restaurant all foreign staff dirty not interested girl who took my order did it wrong n just walked off girl who took over totally got it wrong had to tell them parts of order missing no gravy , cold chips , ordered tea never even put it on receipt had to re order , bins over ful floor n tables dirty in the 40 mins we where on site no one came out yo clean or sort full bins awful place STAY CLEAR IF EATING IN NOT CLEAN

Me gusta KFC. Sin embargo, esta sucursal en Gava Hall es terrible. Pedí un 4 poderoso con una comida extra pollo. Cuando llegué a casa me di cuenta de que me cobraron £1. 89 por original pollo. Lo peor fue que me dieron la más pequeña pieza de pollo (en la) así drumstick cubo de pollo original tenía dos muslos y una pieza de las costillas. Lo pensé al menos habrá tres diferentes piezas de pollo. También todo el pollo estaba seco y duro veey tuve que tirar a la basura. Les peldaño hasta tres veces, pero fuimos a contestador automático. Así que ellos peldaño hasta el día siguiente para explicar lo que había sucedido. El gerente, Nicola o Nicole dijo que me llame más tarde hoy y tomó mi número de móvil y mi nombre. Ella no anillo trasero. Realmente creo que el director es terrible con clientes como ella no tratar con una queja de inmediato y a la izquierda. Administración realmente mal. He usado los medios sociales para contactar con KFC y no hacer mucho y me preguntaron qué sucursal era.

Esperamos ser servido una cantidad de tiempo. Fuimos y nos sentamos en asientos, mesas, pero estaba vacía y no la habían limpiado. Descubrimos que no había salsa en mi bolsa, que yo había pedido, así que volví al mostrador y tuve que gritar para que personal de escucharme. La chica que me atendió finalmente venían, me pidieron educadamente, me dieron un aspecto organizaban cuando les expliqué que sí había pagado por uno. Al final me dio uno, ningún tipo de disculpa. Yo trabajo en un pub y siempre se disculpan si algo malo para un cliente. Pero la comida era deliciosa, cuando tuve todo mi pedido.

I love kfc .....but this branch is the pits! poor pieces of chicken, chips that are not fresh and the staff are so dirty looking and scruffy. I have given enough chances but no more!! I will travel if I have to, Get some serious...

Recently updated this is a good little KFC. Easy to park behind the spar, which is a short walk from the KFC. Normal KFC menu, free wifi. Staff friendly and attentive. Food all standard KFC Type stuff. Usually busy which is a good sign.

No vamos a volver, sucio y un montón de adolescentes que estaban muy grosera y ruidoso. Un miembro del personal habían limpiado los asientos y luego con la misma tela paño mesas, justo antes de que no es un niño lo conectan con los asientos ... ¡qué asco!

Poor service due to lack of trained staff. If there's more than 5 waiting in the queue I walk away & go somewhere else. Every time I've been lately I've asked them is the gravey / hot wings in the bag, & there not "sorry about that " they say. You've just got to check in store or else you coming back for corn/gravey or what ever side you've orders. Like I said at the beginning they need more trained staff.Used to be the KFC around ! 10 year ago

Whoever trains the staff must really have it in for KFC. The food is good, but the service is always poor and head office is no better (complaints get no response). I only visit KFC about once a year and each time think never again! Yesterday’s “experience” was no different: a long wait, even though there were few customers, and indifferent staff who clearly hate their jobs.

What happened to the chicken in the boneless banquet? Just had one and I was sure they had given me kids fillets.... when I mentioned it they said that was normal.... when did they reduce the size of them? Was also poor service so they may have just not known what they were doing. Overall disapointed

Went here for the first time as was new in that area away for a weekend but the service was great and quick , the food was cooked properly and was tasty.Would definitely recommend

the food is dry like it has been sat their for ages and not very hot either on some things like chips and popcorn chicken. service time is fast other than that your regular kfc

So here we have a usual KFC. the good thing is that it is always consistent. Just ask for the best, and be thankful you have KFC in the UK.
