New way of ordering. Not customer friendly. No offer of help from staff so just ordered a bucket and no extras. Will take my business in the future elsewhere.

Food was very good one of the staff think his name was Josh he was very helpful and he had outstanding customer service skills would definitely be going to this one again

Outstanding service. Staff very polite and happy to help. Over time I have gotten to know a lot of the staff and they are wonderful. The food is very good. I have visited other KFC restaurants but always come back to this one even though I have one 5 minutes from me I still drive 30 minutes to this store. Wonderful staff & excellent food.

I visited the branch to get a takeaway order on 24/3/24, I had to wait a while for my wife’s rice box to cook (not a problem at all) When I got home I realised that the chips were missing from my meal and the extra portion of large chips ordered for my kids was also missing. I tried calling the restaurant 6 times to resolve this but no one answered the phone. I have tried again today but no one answers. My order number was 8133 I understand that mistakes happen but then not having the chance to resolve it simply by answering a phone isn’t acceptable

Went in for a bite to eat and came out with a headache, as there was really loud booming music more suited to a gym or nightclub. Told them it was too loud but they said was my fault as I was by a speaker. They were shouting to each other on the till as couldn't hear each other.

Long waits and incorrect orders everytime I visit. I've given up now and wont be eating here again. Having purchased food to take away twice, both times I've gotten home to find my order is incomplete / incorrect and having gone back in before to rectify this the staff were unapologetic.

We went as it use to be a family favorite of Granny's. It wasn't very busy, served fairly quick, servers / staff not welcoming , Food tasted ok. Was reasonable value, just didn't give a good vibe. Tables were sticky and we picked the cleanest looking one, admittedly some of them were clean whilst we was eating, not to a great standard sweeping the left overs onto the floor. First impression was poor. Staff possible need more training in customer service and cleaning.

The Best service, and a very delicious fresh food. Highly recommend, definitely will return back. :)

Because I was using cash I waited to be served in front of the Till.Even though the two front staff seen me they didn't come to serve me.Theybwas too busy having a dispute about some cookies the girl has taken for herself,she bagged them Infront of be put don't even acknowledge me.I waited almost 15 minutes and then turned and walk out empty handed.KFC please sort your rude and incumbent staff out.

Have not been to a KFC for a year ! Called into Trowbridge KFC today , bit disappointed with 6 piece bargain bucket ! Although it was hot it was very oily, the coating didn’t seem to be like it used to be ! Chips weren’t anything special either ! Prob be another year before we return !

Everyone who works at Trowbridge KFC are beyond useless. Haven't a bloody clue what to do. Leave customers standing for 15 minutes before even spoken to. Shop was dead btw. Sack the pathetic staff and close the store for good. Don't eat here. No respect for anyone. Piss poor

Total joke. Lots of people waited almost a hour to get their orders only to witness that friends of the servers were served straight away. Servers stood around talking to their friends instead of doing their jobs. The manager when approached said that she was in the back so didn't see what was happening and was totally uninterested.

The staff are rude, there are more people in the que to complain than are getting served. Got stuck in the drive through que for 20 minutes, never got to order. The van at the front of the que, was having a very animated argument with the server. Eventually got to the serving window, no apology. so had to go in and order food. waited 15 minutes, and the food was cold. Not sure how you can be so inept. The place is dirty it should be closed down.

I ordered a regular popcorn chicken and a Diet Pepsi, then I waited 15 minuets for nothing watching people who orders after me collect their orders I am apauled, I never did get my order even after the 20th minuet, I asked for a refund and waited 7 minutes for that, for your information they weren’t low on staf they were just to busy having a gossip to care, I will not be recommending this kfc to anyone and will not be returning, what’s even worse is I wasn’t compensated for the fact I was so busy waiting for my kfc I missed by bus and had to pay 30 pounds for a drive home.

They have become a joke, you go to the restaurant they got orders wrong or are slow all the time, and when I tried to order online well its over 2 hours since placing the order and it still hasn't arrived whats worse, is I can't cancel the order because it tells me the driver is already there waiting to pick it up he has been there for over an hour!!!! This happened last time and I thought well maybe its a one off, nope and when I have spoken to other locals they all report the same this place needs shutting down ASAP it used to be fast and amazing, but who ever took over and owns the branch now are just a joke! And when you ask or complain about what is going on the staff are not considerate they look at you like your ruining there day and every single time we look in the kitchen there is at least 3 people just chatting and doing nothing when they have people waiting for their food. its rediculas.

We ordered a family meal, and not given any receipt. With cold drink bottle asked for more glasses as we were family of 5 people. The indian guy at the counter throwed the glasses at me with frustration to a point that i considered it harassment and was about to call police. However, i ignored it as i was with family. Terrible food. Sides included coleslaw which was made from onions. I mean seriously who put onions in coleslaw. Pathetic service. Not going again.

I was so disappointed with them today, and never will be returning there. First of all, we were waiting for 15 minutes for our food and turned out it was sat on the side the whole time, we got another one, bit into it and it was grey and not safe to eat, I got a full refund but that’s all they did. I’m not happy with this and will never EVER go back there again!

Customer service is slow, also they do not look happy behind the counter, long waiting time on orders when not busy

Just went through the drive thru, wanted 10 pieces of original chicken on its own and requested NO LEGS, 2 corn on the cob and 1 coleslaw. Spent just over £17.00 got home and guess what************ ALL 10 PIECES WERE LEGS.********** WHAT A JOKE, cant stand legs so no dinner for us tonight. All gone in bin. I’ve never seen such a small breast portion of KFC chicken. It must have been a chick rather than a chicken. Service is slow. I thought KFC checked their stores for consistency, well, it’s well below the standard KFC stores in Bristol. Had to wait for chicken at 12:30 lunchtime? Really !

I wrote a scathing review of this place a few years ago but I was pleasantly surprised this time around. The issues with poor staff, food and general house management appear to have been resolved. The service was efficient, the food was hot and delicious and the appearance of the place had improved. I'm keeping an eye on this place though, as there are still current reviews that give it one star. Time will tell on this KFC.

Stopped in for chips and a coffee. Chips were at best warm. Offered ketchup but told they did not supply vinegar!! Coffee! Well ditchwater would have been preferable. Outside the seating area resembled an oversized ashtray. How this franchise keeps going escapes me!

I'm a massive fan of KFC and keep going back hoping that this place will improve. Today we waited ages and when my food came it was cold so I sent it all back. The staff looked untrained and were struggling to deal with a handful of customers. The place looks grubby and toilets are never the cleanest. Other problems I've had include no chicken and poor customer service.

Visited with my son last week , opted for drive through, collected order which was wrong so then have to park up and go in store which kind of goes against the point of a drive through . Huge que , lack of front of house staff , eventually got to speak to a member of staff who then had to get a more senior member to sort out incorrect order which was no mean feat , then had to wait another 20 minutes for food which I felt was totally unacceptable , no apology , staff looked like they didn’t want to be there , hands in pockets and yawning behind the counter, doesn’t create a good impression , the bins were literally overflowing . Not somewhere I return anytime soon .

Visited en route back from the south of the county. Plenty of parking and easy to find it was not very busy when we arrived (Sunday late afternoon). The service was mediocre and the food was just ok. I think the chicken had been under a heat lamp for a while so was a bit dry. The coffee was not brilliant. I think they have changed suppliers recently.Not much more to say.

5pm on a Sunday. Place empty except for one family. Perhaps that should have been warning enough! On approaching the counter each step was accompanied by a loud peeling sound as my trainers stuck to the floor. On having this pointed out, the server simply grinned and said “I wondered what that sound was.” The food we got - the fries were obviously old so we returned them. Some fresh ones were cooked and brought to the table however the rest of my meal was cold. Avoid at all costs.

The floors are very sticky but when pointed out, nothing was done. Chips were cold and chewy but changed after we returned them. The chicken was not succulent, positively dry as thought it was been reheated, what happened to the Colonels recipe?

Firstly if you are in a rush... Don't bother. queuing for 20+ minutes is standard.

You get what you pay for in terms of the food quality, which is at best is filling a hole with fried unappetizing food to cater for the masses in a hurry. However the main issue is the exceedingly slippy floors. Noticeable even when seated, the floor tiles are too smooth & glossy. To make a trip to the toilet is more scarey than the rides at Alton Towers!! Already slippy , they're now wet-a wicked combination. How there's not been a bad accident here before is a mystery? This establishment should be closed immediately until the problem with the floors is resolved.

Very quiet period. Only car in the drive through. Ordered a 2pc variety meal and a 3pc variety meal. Parked up and the 2pc meal had two drumsticks, ad indicates one drumstick and one larger piece of chicken. The 3pc I order was only a 2pc. Went back through drive through explained only to be told you can't go by the advertised meal they can't guarantee a drumstick and a larger piece of chicken. I explained the ad is misrepresenting the meal then. I was told speak to management. I pointed out again I had paid for a 3pc meal and the guy was very stroppy went off and put the extra piece of chicken into the box.. Service with a smile not. Chips tasted burnt. Will definitely not be going back. Can't get an order correct when only one customer, what would it be like if there was a queue at the drive through.

Used many fast food and this has to be the worst and slowest service I have ever had. They seldom give you everything you ordered or offer any of the dips to go with the meal

Just had a lunch here and the service was diabolical, I would have made my lunch quicker. staff were hard to understand and had to ask 3 times what they were asking me!!! Meal was disgusting and the tables were not cleaned. The toilets had no toilet roll. Will never go there for food ever again. Place should be shut down. No Management control whatsoever if there was a manager on site there was no definition who this was.

We ordered 2 boneless banquets on the colonels club app and got 2 snackboxes from the student offer. There were no issues with the order or waiting time which was good. However, the mini fillets in the boneless banquet were not anything like we had tried from any other kfc, almost comparable to birds eye chicken dippers they were very small and did not have the crispy batter, they had the same batter the drumsticks have. The snackboxes were cold and both came with drumsticks which I assume are the cheapest part and were very greasy.

Food is shocking! greasy unclean floor and tables often, flavour of food and kfc recipe seems to change every visit. Drive through is always closed and falling apart & staff seem to quit daily (never the same people).

After giving it an absolutely disgusting review one year ago I thought it only fair to give it a second review as it is definitely improving. The staff was nice the place was reasonably clean the chicken ok.

I went to kfc today, I ordered a mighty bucket. It came, it was alright, but it just didn’t tingle my taste buds like it usually does. My colleague had a burrito, he was digging in it to it, then just smiled... no words. My other colleague ordered a boneless banquet, she was generally upset when it had no bones... reckons the advertising should be clearer on the product. In all fairness I would go back again, for the quest for kfc to tingle my taste buds one more time.

I have no real words for the disgusting food and state of the place plus the limited food available when ordering. The only thing I have to say is WHOEVER gave more than ONE on the review was feeling sorry for them so avoid at all costs............funny that no que at 7ish but Macy dees was full.

This is the second time this KFC has run out of food. Today no chicken fillets, no chicken popcorn, ok so what do you have, burgers and chicken on the bone, ok, so I’ll have a burger, what side dish would you like, sweet corn, guess what no sweet corn, what drink would you like, Water please, guess what no water. Ok I’ll have coffee, black coffee, no white coffee please, guess what no milk! How does this place stay open, I’ve been there before and no chips. Sack the manager!!! The one toothed fat woman who served me was suitably embarrassed!

15 mins in the drive in this afternoon, nothing happens fast in this place, wasn’t like it was a big order just a burger and drink, not even a serviette in the serving bag...rubbish service won’t be using again.

Hi I don’t feel compelled to write reviews usually but the KFC in Trowbridge really needs to be sorted out! My two teens love KFC but every time I take them I regret it! Always out of stock items, when I went the other day they’d obviously run out of mayo for the burgers and switched it for some peppery concoction which spoiled it! Also when you look through the drive through window it’s looks really grubby and puts me off my food! This franchise needs some work

Management SERIOUSLY need to take stock of this franchise. Not for the first time, I visited on Saturday and there was NO hot drinks whatsoever, no icecream and no kreshems. Food from a table which was on the floor when I arrived, was still there two hours later when I returned from McDonalds having purchased our desserts and hot drinks. Abysmal!!!!! (Oh and the toilet flush in the right hand ladies toilet has not been repaired for probably very nearly a year now!!!)

When you see the advert all looks great and then ...... you go in shop . What a difference and what a difficult place to be recognised as a paying customer. Then A quarter of their menu that flashes a about on a non customer screen that gives you no chance to read is not available AGAIN. So don't bother we won't

This wasn’t our first visit to KFC Trowbridge, however I will be loathe to return. In fairness, the food that we had wasn’t poor, just average and it was quick. Windows inside and outside were proper filthy. Only two other tables were taken but vast amounts of rubbish cluttered up a lot of the other tables. Litter all over the floor and one bin was overflowing. The girl who took our order clearly didn’t enjoy her job role. Her name badge was completely different to the one on the receipt. We couldn’t have a cup of tea as there was no milk. There was also no corn-on-the-cob. Toilets were minging. It’s a shame is it’s in a prime position, but until they get enough colleagues and colleagues that care, KFC Trowbridge will continue to receive poor reviews I’m sure.

Got to admit this was the only time I managed to get my paws on a krushem but yet they could not provide me with my food. '5 minute'wait they said.. but here I am still waiting. Would not recommend as kfc staff in trowbridge store have no concept of time. Disappointing

My husband went and bought the 14 piece bucket and it was full of dark meat. Thighs & legs which were very fatty! I called and complained and was told if I brought it back they can replace it. I knew if he went back they wouldn't have anything speaking from experience. So after all this she the manager offered me a free pop. Lord have mercy!

Went in today with my daughter and grandson one person taking the order and sorting it out- only a couple of customers there. When my chicken zinger arrived had to return as it was cold so i returned it. The next one they bought out wasn't much hotter either so will not be going there again. Doesn't deserve a 1 but won't let leave it blank

I don't understand why there is so many negative opinions about this place. I have been here many times and was quite satisfied. Food was ok, same like staff working here. If i have to point out cons, place could be tider. Overall i was happy with food i was served.

Where to start....moved to the area about 7 months ago and every time I've been to this KFC its been awful.

Went into KFC on saturday afternoon and was horrified to the service we had, There was 11 tables taken in there, the place was empty, There was two customers in front of myself and two behind that is how busy they were, Finally i got served, Once placed my order, I was not given a recipet and neither were any of the other customers, Then left to wait 25 minutes for our food to arrive, Then to find the chips were cold and the burger bun was hard and crusty around the out side, So yes it had been put in a microwave, So i took the chips back, was not even asked what was wrong with the chips, was just thrown another plate with chips on and not even a apolgy, The drive way was closed off with a large rubbish bin. What is KFC doing allowing this place to be trading with such appualling service and serving cold food, This place needs to be closed very soon

We visited the Trowbridge outlet of KFC this evening but were disappointed. The external seating area was dirty and was in need of some weed killer. The young person behind the counter abruptly told the customers in front of us that half the restaurant was closed and they could only sit in one small section of the seating area which was already crowded. There was no salads or baked beans available so if we went to Nando’s.

Lunchtime visit, no chips, no coffee, no ice in cold drinks and a cashier who speaks so quietly (mumbles) its almost incoherent. Having queued to order, you are then told no chips but offered a hash brown instead. Used to be reasonable but has my vote for 'worst in category, sure winner !!

I thought KFC outlets were supposed to maintain certain standards - so what has happened to the Trowbridge KFC??? My last 2 visits have been extremely disappointing and tonight they were operating with a skeleton staff, no drive through & just one young person serving on the till and also putting up orders. Yet again no dip included with a meal that includes dips. And yet again the wait was too long - ironic really for a fast food outlet. Cars were queuing in the car park to go through the MacDonalds drive through yet KFC was practically empty. KFC Head Office would do well to start looking at how this outlet is managed - it’s giving the brand a bad name

We unfortunately decided to go to KFC whilst in Trowbridge recent and it wasn’t long before we wished we hadn’t. The assistant that greeted us and took our order had horrible dirty teeth, well I say teeth more one tooth and bad gingivitis.

I don’t know how they get away with being a food outlet. Service so slow waited over 20 minutes for drive thru. Staff not apologetic for wait. When food came it was cold!

Called in on a Friday early evening to eat in, i was third in line, the first family were served - quite quickly as they knew someone who was out back and they caught her eye, so she came round and got there meal ready. The guy in front of me was being served, then the till went down - yes THE till as only one person serving, quite a queue as well. People were leaving and going to Macs or going drive through- as this seems to get priority. But we decided to stick it out! after 30 mins we get our meal - cold! The guy who was in front of me brought his back because it was all wrong, he had a worse night than us, his take out meals were first trayed up as eat in, then had to be bagged!! Although there were plenty of tables available they were all dirty with trays of leftovers left on, as the bins were full. Disaster

My wife and I went to KFC yesterday (Sunday). we have not been to KFC for a while. The store in Trowbridge had a very reduced menu. Service was fine but we were very disappointed with the food we had as a take-away. The chicken was over cooked and very greasy, the gravy has changed and was not very nice at all. I know KFC is still suffering supply problems but that is no excuse for the poor quality of the food that they do have. Won't be visiting there again, very poor!

Went there to get tea with my dad and we went through the drive through. We ordered, and drove round to the next window to pay and collect food. We were waiting there for a minimum of 5 minutes without getting seen too, they all completely blanked us. About 6 members of staff were stood around doing nothing and having a laugh.

Been several time and never once got what I ordered. Once got 3 portions of gravy instead of 1 beans, 1 coleslaw and 1 gravy. Another time got all small sides when they should have been large. Had missing corn on cob. This is only less than half the problems I have had. One day i ordered and asked them to double check everything as my order is never correct and they said they would, and when I got home, believe it or not I had everything except chicken. How hard can it be to look at a list and then put everything on the list into a bag? Absolutely shocking. I have now sworn never ever to go there again.

Takeaway - Food Cold , Chicken Dry , no hot Drinks , staff (the Manager ) was extremely rude , asked for some Mayonnaise and was told "we are not a Kebab shop " .

If it’s ever open - they seem to be closed more often than not and this has been going on for months. Card machine rarely works Staff worse than useless so check the food before you leave. McDonalds must be making a fortune

By far superior to the KFC in nearby Frome. Food is hotter and better cooked and the service is fast and efficient.

Me and Mother were heading to B and M to pick up some garden ornaments and some "bargain booze" if you'll pardon the pun. When an enticing aroma led us astray and through the bright red doors of KFC. We were unequivocally ashamed of ourselves to find out this was not a "new joint" as they seem to say these days. Bright eyed and bushy tailed we were greeted with a wave of joy and excitement from the employee. Being a weekday vegetarian I broke my rule had the "boneless banquet".... well what a discovery. Normally mother cuts my meat of the bone but there was no need this time, I was overwhelmed. The succulent, sensual, snazzy flavours bursting in my mouth were DE-LI-CIOUS!!!!!!!!!! I said to mother afterwards "we simply must have dessert!". I strolled over to the counter and said howdy to the member of staff. They promptly recommended the Oreo Crushem. A devilish liquid concoction of biscuit and milk (how naughty!). The whole experience was pure magic. Colonel Sanders, may I toast my Pepsi Max to you sir.

Went through drive through last week after waisting in a queue for half an hour!!! The order window didn't seem to be working. Waited a little while and shouted hello but no response so thought that must be the hold up!! Drove to window to be told to drive around again and loads of other cars has done the same thing (er because the member of staff hadn't got his headset turned on or something). Needless to say i parked up and went it. Very greasy. Sort yourselves out kfc- just not what it used to be!!!

I have visited this place twice over the last few months both times I have been appalled.The outside area looks like a rubbish tip! The inside not much better and the staff of a quality not usually seen at KFC more interested in each other than the customers.It is sad as there are not many KFCs available in this area and I am a huge devotee of the brand.

Went to the Trowbridge branch as the Frome branch is just so bad

Came here because I hadn’t been before, I’d been to others just not Trowbridge! So I figured why not. Upon my arrival I got out of the car and was greeted by lots of rubbish, as I walked through the outside area it was filthy! Rubbish, dirty tables and cigarette ends covering the floor. The queue was massive and there was nobody on the counter. 20 minutes later I ordered. I received digusting chicken which was pink in the middle. I complained and was told it’s ‘fine’

This place needs demolishing! The food hygiene is appalling!

Consistently slow, orders are wrong often, food is half assed (for example, twister wraps half filled). Staff can be quite inappropriate. Worst kfc I’ve ever been to. Don’t really understand how it’s so bad all the time.

I have been to some truly dodgy places in the world but my visit to KFC in trowbridge is possibly the worse place I have eaten in a very long time.To see every table covered in food remains and juice, and the new victims of the restaurant have to clean off the tables prior to eating was appalling.Yes it's fast food but by Christ its disgusting.If you value your intestines I would give this place a wide birth.If you are the manager of the establishment then sort your act out.

ordered chicken and chips took chips back as tasted strange and cold .changed them.rubbish everywhere inside and out. Bins full.

The girl who served our family looked miserable and had a very bad attitude and seemed like she couldn't be bothered, the zinger wrap came out cold in the bottom of a bag not even in correct packaging the oreo crushum had no chocolate sauce and was more like just cold milk, this visit to KFC has put us off ever going to any KFC restaurant ever again wouldn't even give the food to a stray dog
