KFC in Dover

Absolutely terrible. A woman cashier overcharged and got our order wrong. They were then moaning that they had to go back and correct themselves because they couldn’t understand our English language. We had little children running around the establishment playing hide and seek right next to our table surrounding us. Then you had people vaping in the establishment. The tables were mucky and unclean. The floor was appalling with dirt and mud all over it. Please go somewhere else or a different kfc. It is appalling please sort yourselves out!

The place was full of teens swearing and messing around. They were throwing stuff around and no staff member did anything about it. The teens didn't even buy anything so they weren't even customers. I'm so glad I didn't have my children with me. Steer clear of an evening.

This is the 3rd time we have had a delivery from this KFC, never again. Everytime the order is wrong, always missing the sides. This evening missing side orders, food had to be microwaved as was delivered cold. Chips where just thrown in the bottom of the bag under the box and the 3 piece consisted of 3 legs from a chicken who must of been on a diet, not a chicken thigh in site. Definitely the worst KFC I have ever been to, consistently Rubbish. The colonel will be turning in his grave.

Three piece variety meal with extra large gravy at £8. Service was ok, chicken was freshly cooked, as were the chips. Social distancing was respected with the service, and when we sat down to eat.

Eat in 3 piece meal with large fries at £5.59. Service was fast, helpful and polite, the chicken however was a little on the dry side, which as it was ordered just after opening was not a good thing.

Made a order through just eat did not turn up. Tried to phone they do not answer poor show had to get refund through just eat

One of the best KFC in UK. clean and fresh food. And you are arriving to Dover to go to France by boat it is indeed your best palace to eat before you leave :)

Ordered at counter, lady checked selection was available, all good .went to collect , to find part of order used,so was offered a alternative item , went back to counter only to find out they used my order again. Then was told will have to wait at least 8 minutes. What a joke.Decided on refund ,went elsewhere.

Visited here a couple of times with my family (husband and three growing young men) and the staff are always polite and helpful. They are happy to help out with taking food to tables and make sure people are happy after eating. You get decent sized portions, not half a bag of fries like some places, and the food is always hot and cooked well. A down side is that the ladies toilets are always partially flooded, there has been water on the floor each time we have been. The staff said it has been reported but other than that there is not a lot they can do as it's out of their hands. The eating area looks run down and needs updating as it looks grubby and dirty even when it has been cleaned. I would rather take food out than eat in the restaurant. Food is great, staff are brilliant, however, the restaurant needs a complete overhaul, especially if they want to keep customers coming in with all the new developments happening in the area.

Went here at 5 o’clock. At first it was really busy with a long queue but as it the only fast food restaurant in the town. And I had two hungry boys I waited. When I got to the front of of the queue staff was very polite and pleasant... unfortunately the restaurant was not!! No one was head of house dirty tables dirty floor and blood all over the female toilets. Without question had not had a good clean in some time.( felt as though my hands come out dirtier then what they was when I went in. as soon as the Q had gone down lady that served me was out on the shopfloor tidying up the mess that had been left..... I feel it would’ve been much cleaner to sit out on the local bench and eat my food there... on a plus food was hot and fresh. No Manager was anywhere to be seen surely if use restaurant is struggling to come out of your office and pull your finger out!

Food was good as always, but the queues were really long and off putting. They needed more staff, there was only one person behind the counter, they weren’t clearing tables fast enough.

The food we ordered was cooked fresh and tasted good. The overall look of the restaurant was a bit untidy though.

Called here about 9 pm on a Friday night, surprised to find it quiet, but about 20 people arrived just after I ordered! Chicken was freshly cooked for me, so at its best. Always good value at KFC, especially as I had a 15% off code from a previous visit in another town. and a free side on my loyalty cad.

I have eaten here quite a few times over the years inside and takeaway. The staff are friendly and the food always tastes just how you expect KFC to taste

Quickly popped I for a coffee and drink with my girls before going to the cinema. The seated area was filthy tomatoe sauce every where on seats and tables. It was also full of children without parents the use of foul language was disgusting and the staff did nothing to control them. I will never ever step foot over their threshold.

I always buy kfc from here. Better than the drive thro at whitfield. Very friendly too. Def recommend

Bastante estándar - nunca había comida KFC que era menos de calor, de hecho la última vez que comimos, las piezas chic eran demasiado caliente para manejar por unos minutos. Puede estar muy llena algunas noches para llevar, pero aparte de eso, no tengo ninguna queja

What a cool experience. A bit of home cooking while seeing the White Cliffs! Never thought i would enjoy a chicken leg while checking out the cliffs! Great idea. Give it a shot!

He estado en unos cuantos sitios kfc y éste no está en la cima de la lista, por desgracia. El pollo es a menudo demasiado cocido y seco, que nunca te preguntaron si quieres cualquier salsas y las patatas fritas son a menudo rancio. Ten cuidado, de este lugar durante las horas del almuerzo y la cena. Siempre repleta de familias y niños gritando.

Das Essen war mässig ok (nicht so gut wie ich sonst vom KFC kenne), es ist mitten in der Stadt - wirkt aber sehr farblos und es sieht auch nicht sehr hygienisch aus. Also einladend war es nicht wirklich...

Typical KFC, very good and waiting time not too bad. The sitting area is good and parking in front or nearby in the evening is free.

Good food. In town center. Cheap fast. Clean. Service was good. Close to shopping and resale stores. Close to coffee shop. Service was good. No problems I would go back.

Visitamos la sucursal de Whitfield dover (no el mercado KFC) a la hora del almuerzo en la plaza un lunes y pedimos 2 piezas de pollo y patatas fritas dos veces. El chico que me atendió, que claramente han preferido estar en cualquier lugar, pero allí, ignoró mi petición por una caja. Él era maleducado y brusco y no podría importarle menos sobre servicio al cliente.

Seems to be a lack of regular cleaning in the eating area. Not the best. I would recommend Whitfield KFC the one to go to.

An average place to eat with reasonable prepared food, but the standard of cleanliness was something to be desired.

Arriving late in Dover we found the placed was closed. There were a few rowdy pubs but the only place to get a quick meal so as we could get to bed was the local KFC.Unlike Australia there was a limited choice of fare at this KFC but we were soon happy with our choices and more than pleased with the staff and their service.The place was clean and tidy and there was not intrusive music or a blaring television in the seating area.

Stopped at the KFC just before Dover to have a meal, OMG the toilets really stink, its sad because we really like KFC but the smell of the toilets spoilt the stop.

Empfehlenswert sind Popcornchicken superlecker ,wenn Ihr großen Durst habt kauft euch eine Pepsiflasche diese kostet mit 1,5 liter Größe viel weniger als im Menü

Yes another KFCHowever this one is slow. Sixteen minutes for a bargain bucket containing 10 pieces. Hygene was suspect at the front end. Other customers were complaining of delays and only part completed orders, with no apologies.It would seem the Whitfield store is the better one if you are mobile.

Same as any other KFC, but for the location. This one is in Dover. Go to the one in Aberdeen and it will be the same, except for the staff.

The town was run down and so was most of the establishments in town, however it was nice to find familiar food with familiar quality (finger lickin' good). Even had a sale going on at the time.

Siamo venuti a cenare qui perchè era uno dei pochi posti ancora aperti , siamo arrivati piuttosto tardi erano circa le 21,00 , non so se il servizio è stato così scarso perchè era tardi, sta il fatto che le patatine fritte erano praticamente carbonizzate, gli hamburger erano decisamente poco farciti e non molto buoni, la carne era un po' cruda, e le ali di pollo erano davvero miserine. Il locale non era molto pulito, sopratutto il bagno era inguardabile, e dei due che c'erano uno era fuori servizio.

Dover is not a big town and does not have many attractions; had 8 hours to wait for the ferry to Dunkirke in France, had a trip to the town centre to pass the time away. The Kentucy fried chicken was as expected from any KFC outlet

Wir fanden es sehr schwer, in Dover einen guten Platz zum Essen zu finden (der irgendwie geöffnet war). Darum sind wir (leider) hier gelandet.

Its a KFC, its in Dover. That should sum it up. Personally i love a KFC so i can't say it was horrible, it was a good KFC., staff were fine, customers came mostly from Dover, so it could have done with some airfreshner

Deze KFC ziet er netjes uit. De bediening is vriendelijk. Wij namen de bucket met kip en een wrap met kip,rijst,groente en hete saus. De frietjes waren een beetje droog.Met ketchup erbij ging het enigzins

Served regular chicken cooked with the secret recipe. Drinks are standard and service isn't great. Decent for lunch I suppose.

They sell chicken, mostly covered in The Colonel's secret recipe. They also sell chips. And drinks (no wine).The restaurant looks like the one in High Wycombe, and my mate says it also looks like the one in Aylesbury. Nice lampshades.I had a Twister, very similar to one I had before. Consistency seems to be the key here. Staff seem well trained however because the founder has a military background you would expect that.While we were in there a member of public became ill, then recovered quite quickly. Not substantiated but it seems KFC has healing properties.Someone told me they originated from Kentucky.No need to make a reservation. Just turn up and take a seat.

Un Resto de chaîne comme de nombreux autres. Accueil sympa par une équipière française sympa. Ça aide. Seule remarque il pèle dans la salle lol.

The staff are Very nice in this one! But the chips are always dry and oil seems old. Sorry KFC Dover

Inspired by the 3 part BBC series on KFC, at least I see things from staff point of view! You order at one till point, get a serial number and your meal is at the next counter which is fine if there are not too many waiting. My choice of a boxed meal adds a side and piece of chicken to the tower fillet burger meal. The side can be sweetcorn or baked beans. People say KFC meals are greasy and they are certainly slippery, but chicken is a bit like that, and they would have to dry out the meal to give more stability. I used the fork provided for the beans. Nobody seen table cleaning, or any sign of this new healthy shredded chicken as seen on TV but apart from trying to read small menu boards and keeping it all together it was OK. The cleaning tissue is not there by accident.

Food is same as any kfc but they open until 2 in morning on Saturday night chicken fillet burger Arfer midnight is like eating a car tyre in a roll with Mao

I went to this place Saturday 6th of December overall food was to plain chips undercooked chicken was OK but hit with more spice than a vandaloo only decent thing I had was the gravy the atmosphere was OK wouldnt say I enjoyed it with people staring now down to the place being clean or not the tables which where not clean I used a wet wipe to clean the floor had ground in food. Now onto the toilets which I should have not used they where a bad state where someone incompetent couldn't do there business had went all over the floor the smell was to say hadn't been cleaned in hours there was poo on the sides of the walls toilet bin floor all over I had 2 stand in a awkward stands to go i did slip alittle and had 2 bin my favourite jeans cos I got the floor urine on them not happy I complained and got the i don't care look I asked for a manager to be told they where busy lol all i wasn't amused I actually phoned head office to complain to be told by a really nice gentelman that it would be passed on to the manager and area manager.

Regular KFC food and service. It was open at a time when other restaurants were closed. Food was fine but the place did not look too clean.

I blame my kids for letting me go back to this place.Re-heated food constantly and very mini portions,and tummy aches the next day. Stop the madness!

Treat night for the family, decided upon KFC. decided on a 14 piece bargain bucket with four added pieces of chicken. Got home we live in a rural area about half hour drive away from nearest KFC. Started to eat meal and soon realised that it was entirely thighs and drumsticks apart from one piece of small breast meat. Kids are not overly keen on the darker meat so not a good meal! Really not very happy and feel like we were deliberately ripped off.

Como todo fast food de rede não tem erro. Ainda mais indo com criança. Preço justo R comida rápida. A qualidade é a de sempre.

KFS подходит для быстрого и недорого перекуса. К тому же продукты можно взять с собою на вынос и продолжать путешествие по городу.

This kfc outlet is newly renovate. Small but nice. All staff are friendly. The food is always fresh. Easy acess, and they have a fast service

Despite the recently revamped restaurant this visit was poor. The service was slow, not enouh room to handle the new ordering system, the food was cold, the restaurant was dirty with uncleared tables and food on the floor. We were given two sachets of salt between four of us, and only one tray to carry four meals with drinks, no sauces and no hand wipes were provided. The person doing the drinks must have had trouble getting the lids on as every dip we took left us covered in drink as the cups leaked. And finally to top it all off the wallpaper matching was terrible!!!

I have visited this KFC many time and have never had a bad experience, the food has always been fresh and piping hot when arrived. The store however is in desperate need of tlc ( makeover)

Went in and ordered what was advised by wife to order. Informed by staff it would be cheaper to go for a different order as side dishes and drink included, so went for that. Got home wife and family happy and overfed. Cant say aanymore apart from what a good service and advice from staff.

The most hideous and disgusting KFC I have ever been in. The store is in great need of a makeover, as are the staff. Surly, gruff staff dont make for a pleasant experience. The restaurant is old and tatty, does not look clean even the guy sweeping the floor needs retraining just to do that. I know they are paid minimum wage, but so are a lot of food workers, and in my experience, most of them can show lots of, if not some enjoyment in their jobs. Would I go there again? NEVER. The good ole Colonel should be thankful he aint here no more

The staff here are very welcoming, polite and don't rush you into buying anything you don't want, very patient. Food is always well cooked and there is a range to suit all. The premises are clean and would recommend this to anyone who fancies a really fast served meal.

What can I say - it was the Col's finest! The chicken was chickeny and the recipe was secret. We loved it.

Service varies depending on who serves you. Some will provide complimentary ketchup and others forget to give you a freshen-up towel with your meal. Cleanliness is good. tables are cleared regularly

This must be one of the more desperate KFC,s around. The food is the standard you would expect from KFC. Queuing at night is quite an experience a bit like Beirut on a quiet night as the pubs vomit the detritus into the market square, and they wander around like extras from zombies dawn of the dead looking for prey. Sitting in to eat must be one of life's more depressing experiences as the clientele are scary and all seem to have entered the how much food can we get on the floor competition. Dover at its most illuminating.
