Absolute eye opening experience - how is this still facility still open for service? Nine staff counted - six tables dirty - eventually a member of staff emptied one of the six tables - by that I mean removed the tray and left the other part of the table with rubbish on - no cleaning observed - no wipes or sanitation (or cleaning to the floor). The other five tables remained dirty (floors, table top and table surface) and remained dirty the full 45 - 60 minutes I was within the facility. How has this facility not been closed with immediate attention? The food order was also wrong and no communication from the staff was received to ask for any sauce or direction of condiments (a trip to one of the dirty tables may have provided this). Unfortunately this facility has potential and the refurbishment (decor and furnishings) is great - however the staff (directly dealt with) and lack of cleaning are a failure of standard first principles of any eating facility - restaurant or ‘fast food’. KFC need to address this issue (albeit I can imagine they have too many stores to micromanage looking at the poor reviews on multiple stores throughout the UK) and spend some time auditing and providing training and improvement to ensure the facility is to the correct standard. I am unsure how the 4 star was awarded as this would have been lower from first hand experience with food and hygiene ratings. A refurbishment is only cosmetic and does not improve fundamental issues witness on this business observation. I am sure this will be unnoticed and the store remain extant given the name and funding unfortunately. However will await and return at a later date. Regards

Takeaway ordered at counter requested not many drumsticks only to find FIVE n a biucket of 10. I inspected bucket before i left but they are sneaky because they put them at the bottom and cover with other pieces so they are not visible. This is the third time this has happened and it will be the last. Only went back because was given a voucher after my last complaint. Still not worth it. Chicken was tasteless and dry probably because kept under heater too long? Fries were cold. Dont waste your money or time here its a complete joke!!

bonless Banquet meal was a ridiculous size, only 3 pieces of chicken, chips were soft and a bit cold. Tower meal burger looked like they couldnt be bothered the burger together. No soap in the toilets.Payed £23 what an absolute joke. No napkins, no condiments what a joke.

Ordered family bucket of 10 pieces and 4 fries. Chicken was hugely overcooked, dark brown,dry and no flavour, fries were cold. This was a once in a while treat for us but unfortunately was almost inedible. The worst ever. Last time we had a bucket there were 8 drumsticks in it!! another disappointment as drumsticks arnt our favourite. Seems like the place is staffed with kids who dont give a damn. On ringing to complain (an hour later) he told me i should have rang earlier, 'he would have done' !! and because we had eaten most of it there was nothing he could do, the fact is we were starving and as it was just about edible we persevered with it. That was better than driving miles to return it. The worst experience at a KFC and wont be returning.

Ordered 6 piece bargain bucket and the girl on the intercom mumbled something about 2 large sides so I chose coleslaw and corn. Came to £18 but didn't realise til I got home I had been charged another £4 for the 2 sides. Chicken consisted of 2 drums sticks, I piece of what I believe used to be called keel which was tiny and to burnt thighs with hardly any meat on them. Corn was bland and chips sallow. Thos hardly fed me never mind the 3 people it was intended for. Very disappointing, highly over charged and won't be going back. Are they using smaller chickens now???

My son ordered a take away at the drive through, for a family treat. These fillet’s must of been dipped in salt, there must of only been12/15 fries in the bag. The gravy was salty, I offered mine to the dog even he turned his nose up at it. I have never been so disappointed we tried the fillets for a change, we normally get a family bucket. I can only say it’s taken an hour to clear the taste of salt we left it after eating one each disgusting tripe

Food delivered after 50 mins, Found to be over cooked, Chicken was a dark brown and as dry as cardboard. And the fry/ chips burnt, My first and last order to this establishment. My tip to anyone else thinking of ordering from here is DONT

Go and do a collection because heaven forbid if you order on the app you will get the correct order or even hot.. Go to the till as self service tills out of order, to be told they can't use my QR code because there apps down.. OK thats fine but I'd like to speak to the manager as I'm sure they can just by pass that.. a very rude young manager of the name of Chris was adamant he couldn't and was happy for me to leave a trip advisor.. so here we are!! Anyway order my food, paid full price no issue but a discount is always nice. Get home to find everything wrong with the meals For starters I didn't order kids meals yet had 2.. also with tomato ketchup on the burgers when I specifically stated 3 times they needed to be plain.. I mean who has ketchup on a chicken burger. Family feast bucket with 2 pieces of chicken missing, soggy chips and watery gravy with absolutely no flavour. When I rang to state this 3 imes I was hung up on by the manager because he's a human and shouldn't be spoken to so badly.. yet he actually swore at me twice down the phone and told me I'd already kicked off a fuss because I'm to cheap and wanted a discount and that he's had it all day that the kfc app isn't working.. Kfc really needs to take a look at people they employ, 16 year olds who clearly don't want to be there, who are stood standing against the back counters when no service is being done.. Worst experience ever. I think il stick with McDonald's from now on.. wow!!!

After a long wait from a relatively short queue, got to the till and the staff member taking orders had her chin resting on her hand as in pure boredom! When trying to scan my QR code for the app was told, without her even removing her chin from her hand, that the scanner wasn't working, no sympathy or passion just "it's not working", so we couldn't use the offers. Placed our order, drove 10 minutes home only to find that one meal was missing and two sides were missing. Drove back, informed them of the error and with no apology was simply given the missing items. Sat down to eat the now cold meal back home to find that the zinger burger I'd ordered was in fact just a fillet burger!! No care is taken over the food and staff have no customer service skills whatsoever. The bins were overflowing and it's so obvious they just cannot be bothered.

Unbelievable! I had a zinger burger with corn on the cob, my husband and daughter had the pieces meal each. No idea why, but our cold drinks were put in hot drink lids? We were given straws, but obviously had to remove the coffee lids. My Zinger burger had just a very small hint of salad as you can see from the photo and was no more tasty than the excuse of corn on the cob, which I had instead of the potatoes pell chips! Why is KFC now doing pig fodder chips? Can they not afford a potato peeler? Who’s decided skin on fries is nice, or maybe is it meant to be healthy? I think personally it’s a way of making extra profit with less waste. Chips are not healthy, and potato skin chips are not a healthy option. Salad on a burger is not a healthy option either, but if I’d not wanted salad on my Zinger, I’d have said, “no salad on the Zinger please.” Our tea was almost inedible and has to be the worst KFC I’ve had ever. Granted we don’t get them often and only as a quick treat to eat. This was not a treat, and wasn’t a quick cheap treat either. If you’d run out of salad and proper lids, why not just apologies and ask if that’s ok?

Lucky to get 1 star. Husband went though drive in , sour faces no smile and was just handed food. Ordered Gravy - none in the bag, ordered 3 portions of chips only 1 portion in bag, ordered Pepsi was given Pepsi Max It’s just not good enough every time we visit something is missing and by the time you get home it’s too late. Think it needs to be visited by head office and maybe employ some grown ups who know what they are doing instead of kids who haven a clue and have no customer service experience. Won’t be visiting again they have had 3 chances and every time something is missing.

This evening I drove to KFC on cherry tree road as a treat for my three year old. I drove through the drive thru. I ordered a popcorn chicken snackbox and had a free side on my app, so ordered a small popcorn chicken. When I got to the window, a young man called Fraser scanned my QR code. He informed me that something on his system wasn't working and so he couldn't put it through. He told his colleague, Morgan, who took the free side of popcorn chicken out of the bag and said 'well she can't have that then' and took it away. I showed both of them the app on my phone and that it said I had six stamps and was therefore eligible for a free side. Morgan continued to explain that regardless of the fact I was eligible, it was likely their system needed resetting, which is why it wouldn't work, and said there was nothing she could do about the tiny box of popcorn chicken she had taken away. I asked why my three year old had to be punished, for an issue that wasn't my fault, when I had driven 20 minutes to KFC for the popcorn chicken. Fraser commented that he agreed that it was ridiculous and apologised. He then offered me sachets of tomato sauce as compensation. 😐 At no point did Morgan apologise or offer any solution for all the inconvenience caused. When I left the drive thru, I checked the snackbox that I had purchased, to find there were FIVE pieces of popcorn chicken inside. FIVE?! How on earth can you charge £1.99 for five pieces of popcorn chicken and about twelve chips at the most. I am disgusted at the service I have received this evening, and will be making a formal complaint to KFC customer service.

Shockingly bad food. A spaced out female member of staff trying to tell me and my wife what she would feed her kids. Gravy paid for but not in the bag. Limp soggy chips. Chicken was edible but certainly not KFC coated. This franchise needs inspecting by trading standards. Will stick to the Lytham Road branch in future. This place is one to avoid.

Nipped into seniors to grab a dinner on way to daughters. Very clean , uniforms clean, food tasted fresh, good offers , server polite and courteous. Would recommend

Visited after a family day out. I went to order whilst the family sat down. I was shocked at the prices and the fact that the lady behind the till was less than helpful. I ordered a bucket and had to buy drinks and sides separately. I sat down at the table to find them dirty, messy and greasy. The floor was disgusting and the bins where over flowing. Food was less than satisfactory.chicken was dry and slimey. The chips are horrible. To the point that we left it and walked out.I would of put it in the bin but couldn't as it was full. I won't visit here again.

Got a £17.99 sharing bucket which should of been 10pieces & 4 fillets. When I got home, no fillets & chicken pieces were absolutely terrible. Not going back again.

Everything was ok just the bins inside were overflowing so no one could clear their tray so had to leave it on the side, staff should empty bins, it wasn’t even busy in there so not as if they were to busy.

Second time my son's had the bacon and cheese option on his chicken burger. Second time there has been NO BACON in the burger!!! Maybe it's invisible!!! Sure doesn't taste like there's any in there though he said!!!

I would say this is by far the best KFC in Blackpool, I ordered a 3 strips meal, and a mini fillet with pepper mayo, both mine and my husbands meals were beautiful, I would definitely recommend this KFC if your looking for delicious food!

I continually praise good food and service. This is good food but while being extremely friendly and smiley I'd personally prefer my order to be correct. A meal ordered with rice, gravy, beans, drink all require 2 things, a spork and a straw! Also when u specifically request sauce and it, along with the dip that comes with a meal is also missing. The entire order is really not good.Manager*** please instruct staff to check the order before sending it out.Its not an option for some to just pop into the restaurant as for me I'm in a wheelchair. Visited the drive thru with my family tonight, firstly the service from the person who took the order wasn't very good...told to 'hold on' before the order was taken, left waiting 3 minutes....order wasn't ready by the time we got round, which was fine and we were asked to park near the front door...not the grill bays...waited 15 minutes outside, first came with the wrong order...eventually we got it, drove the 4 miles home...to discover items missing...no dip, mini fillet or gravy with my trilogy meal. No point going back as not close by but extremely disappointed! Not the first time items have been missing.

Firstly. Faye is superb! She speaks very clearly. Very polite. This order was a 9.5/10 let down by no fork and straw. It may sound petty but faye was a 10/10 let down by whoever made up the order. Kfc have needed some1 like faye for a long time. She should be promoted as clearly takes pride in her work and customer service is important to her. Please ensure she receives my feedback. Thank u

I have eaten at this KFC several times and consistently it has always been dirty. Personel doesn’t clean tables i, empty trash till its overfiowing, bathrooms are always dirty.

There is some kfc places we have been and the chicken has been greasy but not here. Cooked perfectly the staff were keeping everywhere clean the whole time we were there and mostly smiling about it. They are looking for staff at the minute and it looks like a great place to work. The only thing the corn was over done but everything else spot on

Don’t often go to places like this but just fancy a change at lunch time. Their is plenty to choose from on the large board above the counter, the staff were very good at their job and the spicy chicken wings and legs were very tasty. Enjoy

Been tonight for a veggie rice box which states online that it comes with a corn on the cob did I get this no! And then half way through eating it what did I find mixed in my box a chip did I order chips no what an absolute joke this place is.

Been here on quite a few occasions ,had bad service 4 times and they resolved it for me .went tonight ordered a 10 piece bucket to take away as my mum was staying with us .The chicken was cooked but the skin was sloppy we couldn’t taste anything .I will not go back again as I find the staff are more interested in talking to each other than serving customers .

Me and my boyfriend came here and ordered chicken meals with gravy. Obviously the staff are to busy talking to each other so they forgot our 2 gravy’s that we had paid for. The food was cold. The inside of this place smells like it never gets cleaned. Won’t be coming here again it’s a joke!

We regularly go to KFC weekly where we live and love it.

Stopped off for a couple of boneless banquets on the way home from B&Q.; We ordered to eat in, there was five orders before mine and a queue behind me. Had to wait 20 minutes for food to be served, about four orders behind us got served first. Had to get them to change the cold coffee that had been stood on the counter just after they took our order. Also had to ask then for the popcorn which should have come with the meal. There seemed to be enough staff, they just could not cope with it being busy. I suggest you turn around and walk out of the door if it looks busy and save yourself the hassle as food was stone cold and inedible.

Been to KFC a few times knowing it’s average. Tonight I went through the drive through with my boyfriend we waited 15 minutes when we got to the window to pay there was no apology about the wait. There was no ‘£15 please’ nothing. Just asked for the money then snatched it. When I got the change and was putting it into my purse she waved the drinks about making sure I knew they were there to take them off her. I didn’t see a smile once. The staff might be lovely inside but in future I would put staff in who know a little bit about customer service on the drive through section. Didn’t get a name but a women with brown hair in a bun. On the window at about half 7. I definitely wouldn’t employ her. As for the food... lovely.

Went to this kfc branch last week and my goodness it was awful. The chicken was small greasy and cold, the chips were limp and cold. I went through the drive through so I didn’t see inside but I took one piece of chicken back as it was the size of a chicken wing to get this dirty look of the manager and an equally as small piece handed back to me

Son got a box meal. Chips, chicken burger, beans and drink. He ate the lot and said he really enjoyed it. It was a Saturday afternoon so it was busy. Few tables need emptied but apart from that it was ok. He would return.

We visited KFC at whats nicknamed fat mans corner. What a terrible place. The food was served pretty much cold, the staff were to busy laughing with each other and could not be bothered to serve customers, this was also pointed out by other customers in the restaurant. There was also a group of very loud teenage lads talking about fighting with another smaller group that were coming into eat. Throwing food and swearing at customers was also very entertaining for these lads. We took our food out in the end due to my daughter feeling frightened and the absolute filthy tables.....Stay clear and go to Lytham Rd...Disgusting place and not surprised by all the bad reviews this KFC has received recently.

I had a was looking forward to a nice KFC meal this afternoon as it was a treat as I am on a diet. Only to find to my disgust, one of the members of staff had a serving tray inside of her clothing, warmed for her as she was “cold ”. I think this is extremely unhygienic, when People have their food served from these trays and I do not want someone’s body to be touching the tray I will eat from. After this I got home to the disappointment of having no popcorn chicken inside my boneless banquet

Twice recently we have stopped at KFC for something to eat. The food has been o.k. but we have been unable to get a cup of coffee. The coffee machine has been out of order but there is a Costa Coffee attached to the building so we are wondering if they are actually going to fix it or not. If not we will be using a different KFC.

Popped in after a trip to Blackpool Zoo. Served by a lovely man, pleasant, helpful and polite. Only to watch him he bullied by 2 of managers (yes managers) I won't post their names in here as I have wrote an email to the owners. He didn't do anything wrong, a customer changed his mind however both managers shot him down in front of customers in what I can only say is active bullying! As a manager I would never ever speak to a member of staff in the way those 2 did!!! Customer service fantastic on front of house!!! The managers in question need re training and the lad that served replacing them! 5 stars for Charlie 0 for the managers!!!

Its been a few years since I had a KFC and after visiting this one, I wish I'd made it a few more years. Just had the standard chicken and chips, my mate had the zingers. We drove back to his house 3mins away, put the telly on to watch the recording of the rugby and opened our box of goodies. We both regretted our decision to have a change and go to KFC instead of McDs as normal. Both lots of chips were cold and uninviting. My mates zingers were just warm and bearly edible. My chicken was greasy and tasteless, I left most of it. We would have gone back, but decided to watch the rugby rather than waste time complaining. We just wont be visiting here again and looking at the reviews here now, I suspect I'll be behind the queue leaving.

place was filthy seen staff kick napkins and food under the counter was not even busy i ordered a zinger box meal which i put straight in the bin because as we was driving off i opened the box and it had grains of cooked rice over the inside of it,i was in a rush to get back to my b and b as i had guest booking in i didnt have time to go back to complain, i will be letting all my guest no not to use this KFC. worst £35 I've ever spent. got home to find half my order was missing had to go all the way back the food was discussting gravy was like dish water. by the time I got home my meal was fit for the bin. staff couldn't care less.. safe to say I won't be going back... and most of my order if not all went in the bin

One member of staff (Marti) was extremely snappy with another member of staff when sorting out orders, speaking down to another member off staff right at the front counter!!! Unbelievable, feel sorry for the poor girl as she was only explaining an order and waiting for M to pour the drinks. Very unprofessional and ugly. Apart from that the other staff were all lovely and helpful.

Ordered three Big Daddy box meals, having waited 10 minutes, was told we would have to wait another 15 minutes for the chicken pieces! When finally getting our food, it was cold due to the wait, just one had a hash brown.The actual restaurant was more like a youth club, gangs of youths acting like louts and yobs and being generally rude!!I wanted to speak to a manager, but non was available....Never again, disgusting place, I refund wouldn't go a miss!

Called in for a bit to eat a few weeks ago with my partner. Found the service quite unfriendly and robotic. Sat own with my order to find the fries were cold, returned them and was told they would bring fresh ones to my table. Whilst waiting for them I noticed hot wings were missing from the order there was a bag with 3 pieces of chicken instead (we had a variety bucket). I returned to the counter once more to ask for them to be changed the team member was going to give me a bag of hot wings that should have been mine but were sat in hot hold since I ordered but I asked for new ones. No apology at all. This was my favourite KFC restaurant in Blackpool but I doubt I will be visiting soon

It's good for the money but had to wait for stuff as wasn't ready and it wasn't to busy so couldn't say it was

Stopped here for a spot of lunch, good clean place, toilets were clean too. staff was friendly and cheery and the food was as always with KFC cooked to a decent standard and tasted delicious.

Last time we went the floor and tables were greasy and there were no paper napkins. This time nothing had changed and still no table napkins. How KFC expect customers to eat with their fingers and not supply anything other than little wet wipes to mop up the grease is beyond us. Shame because the food was good. Don't think we will trouble it again.

Probably the worst KFC ive been to!The gravy was so thick i could turn the pot upside down and it wouldnt come out!The chips was soggy and cold.The chicken was very dry and seemed like it was yesterdays chicken.The hot wings.....So small and dry.I was so disappointed. We was staying at the Haven camp so we had it to take away.Never again would i go there!

I love KFC anyway but this is definitely one of the best in Blackpool. Just off Preston New Road with lots of traffic. Staff are friendly, fast and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Treated my son to kfc before start of new school term. It was raining outside so understand a bit of slip under the foot. A wet floor sign was up which was good....unfortunately there's a difference between a wet floor and one that is like an ice rink! I can only assume this is due to the rain water mixing with the grease on the floor! I had to hold my son steady walking out and he then slipped off the pavement onto the drivethru entrance! Rain is rain but it doesn't make it like an ice rink unless it has frozen over! My partner went to the toilets whilst we were in there with my son. The urinal was taped up leaving just the toilet which had urine all over the floor as well as used toilet paper. The disabled toilet could've been an alternative but this was out of order. To top it off we then spent the next 24hours with severe vomiting and diarrhoea! I wouldn't normally pinpoint a certain food but the only other thing we'd eaten that day was toast for breakfast! Never going back. Shame as it was my sons favourite fast food.

I've just visited KFC Cherry tree road Blackpool. As I frequent this kfc I have a colonels card. I've collected enough for a free side and free snack. I ordered my food and when we arrived at the window and presented my card with free items they refused to discount because we didn't tell them when we ordered. The staff were incompetent and had an appalling attitude. Nowhere does it state we have to do this pre collect this KFC is catabolic ally the worst one I've ever encountered I will now go out of my way to use another. Please avoid this take away there are others that wouldn't treat you this way.

Chips cold and chicken very salty Have to say staff were OK But the place needs a good clean The place had a smell that wasn't chicken !!!

Have got to say I've just had one of the best KFC ever amazing food. Customer service did not seem to be very organised at all but I'd fight through that again to eat that chicken

For me KFC isn't as good as McDonalds but stays warmer and so that bit more edible by the time you get it home ... but the chips are often soggy. This KFC is, to be absolutely truthful, no different to any other KFC that I've been in anywhere in the UK .... but that's perhaps the advantage !

The staff get run of their feet but deal with you quick lovely food never had a problem with it especially the bargain buckets 10 piece there lovely would recommend

I frequent this place a bit and nearly every time something is wrong with the order whether it be when we are eating inside or going through the drive through

Food especially fries weren't very fresh and chicken wasn't up to a good standard. Not soft and seemed stale

had chicken and chips---very small portion of chips---chicken was o.k.---have had better from this very same place.
