Kentucky Fried Chicken in Conwy

The only good part about this experience was the food. There was barely any staff working, food took 40 minutes just to be cooked and the drinks machines wasn't working. Customers weren't offered drink alternatives they were handed cups to collect their own drinks when the machine wasn't working

Took so long to have food ready after ordering and paying despite no queue. Food was cold. Very poor experience and will be reluctant to return.

Fillet burger undercooked ! Couldn’t eat . Chicken on bone dry and burnt and cold .. all un able. This has happened a few times now so will never return to colwyn bay branch .

Absolutely disgusted at the attitude of one employee. Came in with mother to get some take out kids meals for the kids/grandchildren and employee named DAN had placed on tray. Mum explained and apologised and said sorry these are to take out and he bagged the order and slammed the bag down on the counter rudely. When asked his name he then proceeded to be rude and leaning on the counter and said “why” so I explained his attitude and customer skills were shocking. All he had to was bag up 3 kids meals and if he had of read the screen infront of him, he would have seen it said TAKE OUT. Don’t work in a job so involved with people if you can’t be respectful and polite. Not hard.

This Kfc restaurant is absolutely rancid,You walk in to food all over the place looks like a bomb has gone off in the room,then you get to the staff and oh my lord i could put on their uniform and do a better job even a baby could,the customer service was absolutely appalling all the staff stood like wet lemons doing absolutely nothing while there are customers waiting to be served,most members off staff also aren’t dressed appropriately for the job most of the staff need a shower desperately,The food was angin the chicken was dryer then Africa,also strands of hair in the chips,luckily i managed to catch just one of the staff members name as they have badges,That staff member was called Tyler cull and im not quite sure how he or any of the staff have a job,Definitely would not recommend coming here your better of just going down the kebab or just save your money

Called in to order. New ordering screen system in place. 4 or 5 other people waiting for their orders which took a while. I had ordered beans with my meal, when called to collect my order after 15 minutes, I was told there were none ready unless I wanted to wait another 5 minutes - the rest of my order had been packed to go. I changed to corn cob. Very disappointed that there is no longer a hot drink option and that the drinks are now self-serve. The drinks station was covered in cola. The staff seemed disinterested in their customers. When I got home, I discovered that the small portion of fries were soggy and undercooked. Very impersonal service. Will think again before ordering from this branch. You need to do better.

I can only describe our visit to the Colwyn bay kfc as shambolic!!!! Shocking attitude of the staff. Go elsewhere absolutely awful

Been waiting here for about 45 minutes still waiting to order,absolutely awful customer service,One of staff names tyler cull very lazy and very slow about 10 people waiting for food absolute joke,KFC fire your staff and hire people who genuinely are willing to work

This is the second time I’ve been here and I feel disgusted by the level of training by the staff at the front. Very understaffed , I felt the staff at front were rude and I felt ignored , I watched countless other customers waiting and getting ignored with no orders taken, staff didn’t seem to care and weren’t rushing whatsoever and were walking around and chatting . Once I was in front of the till they were mumbling , when I finally received my food after 35 minutes of being in the store despite having a small order , I sat down to a dirty and sticky table . Another customer had to come in multiple times due to getting orders wrong and taking ridiculously wrong , many customers were clearly frustrated . Multiple customers leaving as it took way too long to order . The last time I was here there was a distruptive customer abusing other customers and they didn’t even try intervene whatsoever , he’d got mad at the fact he’d stood waiting for 30 mins to take an order and then once he finally received his food after an hour it was wrong and when he told them it was wrong a staff with long hair and glasses told him just to take it and when he tried to get a new wrap they refused to until about 5 mins when he started trying to jump over the counter to do it . Both staff near the tills today were one short with short black hair and glasses and one taller with long black hair and glasses , the same one as the previous time . I was absolutely disgusted when a challenged customer came in and then after taking the order they seemed to look at each other and laugh , horrible sight to see . Would like to see more staff and actually caring about the customers, better trained and better manners . Terrible experience overall , wish I could give a 0 star rating

Visited today for tea .I thought you were suppose to wipe your feet on the way in ,not on the way out .The floor was filthy ,as were the tables .There was even empty boxes by the till .Chips were cold but that is normal .Order was wrong .I have worked many years ago in the original K.F.C and remember all the lists in place for cleaning and cooking etc .We had to follow them to the letter! They need to buck their ideas up!

Bought a vegan burger meals today 13/2/23, it seen the meat of the burger has deep fried and put in oven for ages or overnight. Foods and chips are cold too, but the Gravy sauce still taste good and The staff is vey friendly. Sorry to say that, very dissapointed. I have those meals in Rhyl KFC before, and I was work in the catering food takeaway too.

Visited yesterday for a quick bite to eat .Danial served us but seemed not to be able to hear what we were saying .Our order was incorrect.The fries are always cold in every K.F.C that I go in for some reason🤔Now I worked in the K.F.C when it was on Princess Drive and our fries were always hot .Had a twister meal .Very nice and husband had the crispy strip meal .Tables were clean and cleared .Plus toilets were clean too.

Usual KFC same all over the country. Staff were friendly and helpful to make sure we got the best deal. Didn't have to wait too long for order processing.

Portion sizes seem to have shrunk here, barely a fistful of fries and as for the dried scrunched up pieces of chicken .... Will not be returning to this KFC again

I had a kfc tonight. I've not had a kfc for a long time and was looking forward to it. It was 5pm on a Friday evening and there was only one table with customers so that should have been a warning sign. I ordered a popcorn chicken snack box 8 popcorn chicken inside with a handful of chips which were cold. A box meal for 1 chicken was overcooked and burnt. The filletburger with chips the chips were cold and about 10 chips. The service was quick as no one was there but the server was not very polite

The chicken is so overfried that not only so you have to wait a long time before it cools down enough to eat it but the usual coating is non existing! By contrast the chips are soggy, limp and cold and the gravy is so thin, runny and tasteless! The drink was drinkable but the cup was only half full! I was the only customer in the restaurant. Asked for a meal and was told we have no mini fillets left and the take to long to cook. We shut in half an hour. Ordered a burrito and was told that they had not a single wrap. Asked if they had a rice box and was told yes. They had no Krushems. Took my money only to be notified that they didn’t have any rice boxes. Server simply walked away and didn’t indicate as to whether I was getting a refund or a swap, they appeared to be suggesting neither. Asked if they had anything to replace my order with and received a shrug and a “not really” in response. Finally gave up and ordered a chicken burger. To say the menu was limited and they had very few things they need to make they managed to mess up all three of our orders. The chicken was dry, chewy and had been sat out for ages. They also seemed to have run out of chips as they’d replaced them with icicles. Surprisingly they hadn’t run out of water so the toilet was still in use but it was filthy. I understand it’s not the staffs’ fault the menu is limited but it does not excuse their poor excuse for manners and customer service. 10/10 would not recommend. There was also a lot of screaming children. Strong thumbs down.

No chicken, no baps, no hot drinks , no milkshakes , no fruit shoots , no bbq sauce ... We had to share a bottle of salt with other people dining in... it was like pass the parcel . JOKE

Well it's KFC great just to walk there in a couple of minutes got a good selection on the menu and bring it home. Not that expensive and if you get a KFC card and use it regularly also get free food or sides and desserts

Sólo había 1 chica pedidos a las 6 de la tarde en una noche de viernes cuando es prime time, he visto un par de veces en las noches del sábado, hizo cola durante más de 15 minutos, lo cual es mucho tiempo para estar esperando a la orden quedó su comida. El personal es tan maleducada hace pensar donde encontrar estas personas no parecen entender cosas básicas como no hay hielo en las bebidas o no mayonesa. . Visita generalmente 3/4 semanas. Desde Año Nuevo, la calidad de la comida y el personal ha disminuido. Actitud de servidor el 14 de mayo era repugnante, comunicado a gerente que era bastante desinteresada y pedía que dirección iba a reportar el incidente a!! Así que estoy aquí, y reinstalación será escrito a titular y a la propia franquicia kfc. No espero ninguna respuesta/reacción, pero al menos comunes son conscientes. A propósito, una persona sirviendo y una cola de aproximadamente 10 personas esperando para ser servido. Quizás una visita de la gestión de franquicias sería en orden?

Been here a few times and is a bit hit and miss. When its busy it can be quite messy but then people leave it that way when bins are provided. The food is normally quite good but every so often its not that good but if you tell them they will replace. The staff have always seem to be good.

Clean restaurant and food as nice as usual in KFC, however, on a Friday or Saturday lunchtime there are not enough staff on I had to wait 23 mins one lunchtime, which is not acceptable for fast food. However, at other times of day it is quicker.

Yes more fool me for giving this KFC Another try, came around 9.30 on a friday evening and was told no sweetcorn sides left and only one gravy which seemed poor for a Friday evening, had the variety meal take out, got home and was again disappointed with the so called original recipe chicken with all those secret spices - which all must have been SALT on this batch as its all I could taste apart from grease, chicken was slimy / coating was very greasy and very salty!Best thing about the meal was the fries and pepsi rest was just another horrid excuse for food and to top it yet again I was ill all night/next day which was clearly caused from eating this rubbish again - I used to love a KFC every month or two and always enjoyed them back where i used to live and never got ill and rarely had any issues but 3 times from only this branch over last 7 years have been ill and had such a bad KFC Experience - well never again!

Visited here a few months back and ordered a bargain bucket, there was that much grease the bottom of the bucket it disintegrate and leaked out all over my car, managed to claim a cat valet off the manager after complaining. Thought I'd give it another go this weekend and nothing has changed, ordered a 2 piece meal and again it was dripping, not sure what the procedure is but other KFC's don't have this problem?

Food looked like it had been sat longer that Terry Waite. Staff were OK but the gravy was NOT KFC gravy and the food was just not the same as other KFC's. Clearly by the reviews KFC must know this is a problem restaurant?

Stopped off from the ferry- heading to the midlands- who wants to cook on vacation- KFC hits the spot for no fuss- quick satisfying food.

Called earlier this evening and was shocked by the rudeness of the girl serving me. Was clearly angry because the duty manager called her to serve me. The only two words she said to me were 'eat in or take out'. Didn't even tell me when my card transaction was completed let alone offer a receipt. Then she came over and slammed the food and drinks in front of me, I actually had to call her to check if it was all there. Not complaining about the food because I never had any so can't comment. Shocking service, who chooses to employ people like that needs a shake.

One of the worst experiences a human being can endure, I was astonished when the toilets were locked and they told me they were unavailable ,despite only been locked.The chips were bloody soggy, this is not the standard I expect, even in this hell hole. It's even been rumoured that it's the worst KFC in Britain.

The food is usually decent as most of the time it is cooked fresh. As a result, you'll be waiting for ages to be served as the staff seem to be unable to deal with more than one customer at a time. Despite only serving one customer at a time, they still can't even manage this since they always forget to put something in your bag - WORD OF WARNING: if you do go here, make sure to check that your order is correct before leaving the store as it's a major pain having to go back. On my most recent visit I ordered a Boneless Bucket & a mini fillet burger. They managed to forget both the burger and the popcorn chicken from my order! My previous visit they also forgot the popcorn chicken, too - so it seems they just have no clue what their meals are actually supposed to be.

Even by KFC standards this place is bad. The staff have no pride in what they do; clock watching can’t wait for their shift to end. Soggy and grease chicken, limp wet chips.Go elsewhere or a better alternative is a packet of crisps from the Spar across and down the road.

Took my 2 kids here a couple of months ago and the food they got was good; freshly made juicy pieces of chicken. Went back this afternoon and the kids are feeling really flat and disappointed. Having ordered exactly the same food as before what little of it there was has gone in the bin. The portions of fried chicken consisted of mainly bones and dried over-cooked meat coated in chewy batter. Visited at 4.00pm on a Friday afternoon, there weren't may customers in there and the one member of staff manning the front area seemed quite stressed. If we'd not had the food as a takeaway I would have been complaining, as thing stand we won't be going back for a while.

Convenient to the centre of town, and part of the well known chain, this venue offers eat-in or takeaway, but there's nothing special about it. Up to the usual standards of the genre, we only use it as a 'treat' for youngsters.

Dirty restaurant, dirty toilets, staff that always appear they're either on their first day or have had no training - horrendous. Even the 'senior' staff are incompetent. Every visit there (there wont be another), has resulted in 4 staff mooching about but not actually doing anything while a line of 20 people wait ages for their food. Then there's the issue of missing food when you get home - infuriatingly often and all you get is a 'soooooorrry'. Oh, and I once went in with my daughter to get a straw that they'd forgotten and a young female member of staff threw it at us whilst sighing. In fairness, I don't think she works there anymore. Anyway, the food is hit and miss but the place, overall, is woeful.

I've visited here on numerous occasions and each and every time the staff forget to put something in the order that I have paid for. By the time I get home and realise, it's not worth going back. Very poor and annoying. Some of the staff look grubby and they are always rushed off their feet (not enough staff) which is probably whe they are making so many mistakes. Rubbish!

The food was great and tasted fresh will be back again, they always go above and beyoud to eusure the customer is happy

We visited this KFC twenty minutes before closing time. The floor needed sweeping and the tables needed wiping down, but as we were ordering a takeaway we could overlook this.The staff were very friendly and helpful, despite the late hour, and as they didn't have ant pre-cooked food hanging around being kept warm eveything we ordered was freshly cooked - delicious!

What a joke this place is. Loads of staff bustling around, was`nt busy though. Had to wait 15 minutes for a burger and popcorn chicken for my son. When we got to the car we had no napkins and the food was warmish and my burger was dry and flat, strange for a `tower' burger!!! Wish we had gone to the new Dominos round the corner and waited for fresh pizza!

on visiting colwyn bay KFC today 4th may 2014,the food was not up to standard cold and flavourless,gravy was like dishwater,really inedible, staff were ok,but will wont be goin back there.

Sometimes the food is ok, but other times you can get really burned, old chicken which tastes like it has been sitting out all day. the staff are usually friendly and try and keep all customers satisfied. However, they are not the best at sorting out complaints and try to pass the problems off as if they are not involved.

There is a lady manager here now (not sure how long shes been there) but she has made an improvement to this place,,,she is always pleasant,,friendly and polite,,the service has improved in the last 12 months,,,there is a new hot drinks machine and most times the service is good,, likewise with the food,,most times it is good but there are times when the chips don't seem as freshly cooked as they should be.

Im happy to say its better there this time.The service and chaos at peak times,staff buzzing around like headless chickens (ironic term for a KFC outlet,but best description) still breaks out when theres not a firm manager in charge,and boy it shows,but overall its getting more tolerable in terms of my many visits being less prone to that chaotic style of service.The coffee mashine seems to be holding together too.That is good.

on visiting the store today with my family, i found a tray full of left over food that was not disposed off staff air con on cold when it was cold outside and more to the point a six minute waite for food . two points i have to make , gravey was so thick you could not pour it out . and the bbq beans was more sauce than beans .

I've never had an issue with KFC Colwyn Bay. The staff have always been pleasant to me although occasionally they can be quite cocky, the food is affordable & nice, and the restaurant itself is decent enough even if it tends to attract the dregs of society!

Today,for the 6th day in a row,the dam place had NO functioning coffee mashine,so NO HOT DRINKS!.DEPLORABLE!.You know,for a while there,it had me fooled.This KFC,not the sharpest in the chain,by any means,was doing marginally better recently,Civilised staff,fairly good service,not fantastic,but it was ok,and after the last time the hot drinks mashine died,and we had a 5 week wait for a replacement,yer,I now,beggers belief,does it not?.THIS failure in the hot drinks dept might,going on the pathetic track record,might be a long haul,so,Im avoiding the place fir a few weeks,My tip,if you have a hankering for a hot drink there,phone first,OR,check with staff first,dont inflame your temper by standing in line behind several clueless wanderers dithering over their orders,only to find,when you EVENTUALLY reach the counter,theres no dam hot drinks AGAIN!!!!,I do pop in,if Im passing to check to see if ,by some freak chancethey have fixed the Coffee mashine.Yes,sad,I know,But one is ever hopefull.

We took our grandchildren to this KFC arriving at 11.15 on a Sunday morning to find it wasn't open,,,although the sign on the door stated opening hours were 11am to 11pm every day,,,After I had pressed the doorbell a member of staff came and said "we have changed the opening hours,,we don;t open on a Sunday until 11.30",,,I said as I pointed to the sign "well it might be nice to inform your customers of that",,,he said "oh yes we need to order a new sign" ,,,??????? anyway as it was really cold,,we went a walk around the shops and returned at 11.40am. There was a big queue of people waiting to be served and only one person serving,,who certainly wasn't the speediest person Ive ever seen,, and there seemed to only be one person in the back cooking,,,,after a 15 minute wait it was finally my turn,,,I ordered food for the kids then asked for a tea and a coffee for myself and my husband,,only to be told there was no warm drinks machine working!!!!!!,,,what sort of a restaurant/cafe doesn't have a warm drinks machine???,,,,In conclusion I think,,,,customer service poor,,,,waiting time terrible,,,,food average,,,,No hot drinks available,,,,customer care awful,,,,,,,well it certainly was on this occasion although there is a lovely lady who works there but sadly she has now gone part time,,,,,,

I wouldn't even bother going here again . I had been recently thinking that food would be fairly standard across the chain , but how wrong I could be . If I could I wouldn't give it any stars . Why 1. Very bad , undercooked food , the coating wasnt even crispy . 2. In attentive staff who didn't even have the decency to look at you when you ordered . 3. Teenagers who the on site staff have a problem dealing with /controlling . Hire door staff ?

I think this KFC should be re named chav central, I have never seen so many badly behaved teenagers in one place. The staff either joined in or did not care when ordering the staff member did not even make eye contact, with me and carried on talking to staff member beside her. The chicken was a mixture of cold dry chicken and barely cooked chicken our gravy was solid in its pot. When we returned the whole meal, the took it about and I had to explain every problem. Only then did they replace it with equally as bad food. We left the restaurant and have since complained to head office.

I have enjoyed KFS's on numerous occasions, but the food was cold and uninspiring here, Not up to KFC's normal standard at all.

The service was ok but food was mostly terrible. Should have gone to the kebab shop across the road. Would not go again.

The service was flakey,disorganised,the cafe was not so clean,staff were not very freindly,it just was not that good at all.

Called in one evening on my way home from work as my daughter wanted a kids meal, ordered a kids popcorn meal with beans instead of dessert, service was average but very fast, When i got home and opened it up there was a small bag of chips that were stone cold and been cooked that many times they were black, I put them to one side and said to my daughter leave the chips ( if thats what u would call them ) just eat the beans and chicken, then my wife opened the beans, and was nearly sick a pot of dark brown crust, Put it all back in the bag and took it back ( a 2 mile drive ) as i walked in and asked for the manager he came out i tipped the chips on to the counter and opened the crusty beans and said "would the colonel eat this" the look on his face he replied "no" i then said u expect a 5 year old to eat this, He then offered to change my meal for fresh fries and beans ( which i expected in the first place ) and refunded me £3.19 ( which just about covered my petrol there and back ) oh he also gave me a FREE fruit winder for my trouble ( how kind lol ),

Once a bad take away, put it down to bad luck, But twice, when she even shouted out the order to get home and the chip's were missing .Chicken cooked to a cinder & over done, corn on the cob smelt funny & went in the bin.will not be going there again.

snotty woman at the till was horrible to everyone she spoke to and was training a new girl speaking to her like she was thick! food wasnt as nice as my usual kfc either but all good other than that! :)

Usual KFC fare but plesant staff made the visit much more than average.

It was like any other KFC, I liked it because it was just round the corner from my hotel and easy to walk down since Colwyn Bay is quite deserted after six.There was not anything I can say I disliked about this KFC.

We were looking for a restaurant that was open in mid-afternoon -- too late for lunch and too early for dinner. We have enjoyed KFC in many other cities all over the world. But this KFC was a disappointment. The chicken wasn't up to the usual KFC standard. Additionally, the restrooms weren't terrific. We were not pleased.

Went to KFC recently as a treat. NEVER again am i going back. The Food was cold and soggy. The burger I had was terrible. Awful
