Kentucky Fried Chicken in North Kesteven

Went through the drive through, got asked to park up and wait, 40 minutes later I was still waiting, cars were coming through the drive thru and waiting then getting served before I was, asked the lad who brought someone else’s food out what was going on, he just said well you should of come in, awful attitude, so I went in and another 10 minutes waiting, got my food went to my car checked order and they had got it wrong, it was real chaos in the restaurant, I will never go to this one again, and to top it all off when I got home with the food it was all soggy and really salty, absolutely disgusting.

I was a big fan of KC but had a few bad meals some years ago so I wanted to try it again. What a BIG mistake. I used the drive through and ordered six pieces for £9.99. The coating was bland and the six items should have been supplied with a magnifying glass as they were very small. They are obviously using 9 to 10 week old chicks which I think is wrong. Never again. 😠

Was concerned by previous reviews, but called in for lunch to try. Ordered 2 mini fillet burgers, large chips and 1 medium drink. Took about 5 minutes. Our food was hot, but we got 2 mini fillet burgers, 2 regular drinks and 2 chips which was slightly more than we anticipated. We didn't query the order as it was correct on the receipt. The toilets are gender neutral and there are disabled facilities too which need a radar key. The toilet we used was clean, but the adjacent one was disgusting,! They were cleaning the restaurant floor whilst we were there and it wasn't too bad. Overall average and slightly better than our local branch.

Honestly thought after the refurbishment it might have improved a tinnnny tiiiiny bit but absolutely not. Ordered 2x wrap of the day and 2x bites, order came to over £20. A tiny snack wrap is what was served. Server argued with me they don’t do wrap of the day and snack wrap is the same price yet I’d be charged for the regular wrap meal. No apology, sarcastic and rolling her eyes. Wraps were remade but rest of the food was cold.

Ordered £54 of KFC as a takeaway got it home one of the meals worth £6.99 was missing the tower burger i ordered was was just a normal chicken burger it was all barely warm and tasted like S**T , absolutly disgusting i,m fed up with buying takeaways that are not cheap and you get a bad attitude from the staff and the food is crap will not ever be going back to KFC in Sleaford again

Very slow service, a teenager behind counter didn't give a toss. Place was empty and still waited over 35 mins inside for the food (no apology) and when the beans was missing from my order he said they was definitely given to me so I can’t have another! Basically accused me of stealing the beans! Seriously shocking. No wonder its no longer busy. Complained to head office and got a voucher but would NEVER go to the Sleaford store one again. Needs sorting and fast.

Excellent genuine KFC quality. Crispy, crunchy coatings with right amount of spiciness. Friendly, polite staff with time to go through order to confirm all ok.

The restaurant seemed to be run by chavvy teenagers who didn't give a damn. The. food was overcooked & thrown together. The toilets were DISGUSTING and clearly not inspected & cleaned for a long time. There was empty drinks cans in cubicles, toilet roll all over & blocked sinks. Avoid at all costs!

Well what do I say about this foods im sure my black bin enjoyed it because it was the worse kfc I've ever seen can't say had because it went in the bin

We arrived at 815pm no queue placed our order in drive threw sat at window waiting 5 min to be told no corn on cob ok so I’ll have coleslaw wat the heck Friday evening no corn no forks in bag no serviettes no wipes and the piece of chicken looked like it had been under a heat lamp for hrs it had no taste watsover no wonder there was nobody there the guy that owns franchise seriously needs to sort this place out it has such a bad name locally

This is definitely not fast food the drive through is so long I lost my hunger. It’s the worst service I have ever seen and is always so slow

Chicken was acceptable but fries were undercooked and overpriced. If McDonalds can do them well why not KFC

Slow service despite it being virtually empty, filthy tables, no coffee available, bland barely warm food, won't be returning anytime soon.

No issues with KFC Sleaford been quite a few times as I work mobile. Alway hot and cooked well. I did once have cool chips I just told them and they changed it no fuss

stopped off with my son coming back from lincoln, had a bargain bucket everything was as it should be food hot everything there,

As always great chicken. Very quick service. My boneless bucket was as good as ever and is a great option for quick bites in Sleaford

So the usual ridiculous wait (with the extra bonus of a "please park around the corner") gave us the faint hope that the food would be freshly cooked. Alas the cold, soggy chips and the wilted lettuce in the burger put the lie to this. And the cherry on the icing was the chicken. The stuff had so much grease running off it that when taking the bucket out of the bag the bottom fell out and suddenly we had chicken a la floor. I have never, in all of my 46 years, seen anything as pathetic.

Drive through very efficient..Friendly member of staff at window..Food..WOW..Cooked to perfection, lovely and HOT,which is not something you get especially at the other fast food disgrace across the road..

The price has gone up but the quality has gone down. Bought a bucket and it was almost inedible. Small pieces of poor quality chicken all thighs, and the coating was soft and tasteless. Used to love KFC but won't be bothering with this one again.

God there’s some whingers on here!! Don’t like the queue for the drive-thru? Walk in and order then, it’s not rocket science and it’s way quicker! Just had a ‘family’ meal here for 5, everything was hot and tasted the way I wanted it to taste. Only niggle was the lack of cleaning of tables, which in this current climate they should be hot on..... but then more people would whinge at the slower speed of service. Can’t win. Staff were friendly and the service was quick.

place is rubbish staff are gormless and what ever you order they always get it wrong and last but not least kfc is not what it used to be! keep away from this outlet you are better off with a mc donalds on the opposite side of the roundabout and they are much friendlier there and on the ball more than i can say for kfc they are now relegated .!!!!!!!

Having been through the drive through multiple times, the speed of service is absolutely atrocious. Constantly slow even when it’s not busy. And to add on top, when you get home, you order is generally wrong

Visited KFC today and ordered family feast meal and they forgot my sides. When returning home to eat I realised and called them. The lady I spoke to was a supposed manager who was very rude and refused to help. Simply saying I can have 15% off next time I order! Far as I’m concerned they have only given me half the meal with no chips or sides! Why would I order again from a place who can’t get a simple order right and then fails to provide any type of customer service!? I would strongly recommend staying away from this KFC. By far it’s one of the worst branches in the local area.

Missing items from our order again. Went back to collect missing items. No apology and then saw rats scurrying around by the bins. This company has gone downhill like a landslide!

We noticed that the Burger King had been transformed into a KFC.Much cleaner than the old Burger King and more pleasant staff.Good fast service, but unfortunately, that is the end of the positives.We have enjoyed KFC food in USA and Japan, but this does notcompare. The fries were limp and the chicken undercooked andtasteless. What has gone wrong with the Colonel's special recipe?We purchased the 14 piece bucket and could manage only a coupleof pieces. Cut the rest up for our dogs. Most disappointing - will notbe returning.

Clean, well kept frontage. Farmhouse kitchen...whoops. Not the KFC I have known for a very long time. Fries: these are posh nosh suedo chips. TUT, what's happening.Maybe, I'm behind the times. You feel like - a -go- to favourite and it doesn't meet expectations. Do I doubt myself or THE BRAND?Great that we can all be a bit more health concious and I think it's brilliant to introduce options. Now can I have what I came for... A proper K.F.C, please?

I love KFC, so it was going to be a good choice for a quick bite before driving home to Manchester, oh how wrong can I be. I used the drive-through , it was quiet and served quickly, payment taken at the next window, no ‘drive to the next window, or I’ll be right back with your order’ so I waited and it arrived, coffee with fillet meal, ‘ are there sugars and salt in the bag?’ , yes (liar), drove out and stopped at the lay-by just 2 minutes away on the a17 so I was heading the right way. Coffee was lukewarm, so I’ll just add sugar and make do, nar, wasn’t any that ended up in the best place for it, on the floor. So try these not as good as the original fries, they definitely need salting, shame she had lied there wasn’t any to add, not doing well here. Burger will be ok tho! Well it may have been if it had some mayo on it, have you ever eaten a chicken fillet in a bun with just lettuce and a slice of cheese? Dry is not the word, OMG, why did I stop here? Will try again further on with my trip. £6 waisted. Never again Sleaford, never again. Even the coffee on the floor looks like it’s frowning .

dreadfull food soggy zinger burger hardley warm certanly not hot food. coating on the chicken soft and stickey fries over cooked and just warm. horid food.

The man who took our order through the drive thru was very pleasant but that’s where the positive experience ends. We waited over 15 mins, not the end of the world but disappointing as it is supposed to be fast food. We ordered ten piece family bucket, two chicken sandwiches with a side order of gravy and bottle of Fanta. We live approximately 20 mins away so secured the food in an insulated bag in our boot. When we got home we found we had no chicken sandwiches! Also the lid of one of the pots of gravy hadn’t been put on properly which resulted in over half being spilled and as a result the chicken box had collapsed as it was wet. Feeling very cross we looked up the branch on line to call and complain we found there is no telephone number? We called the Grantham branch and they gave us the number for the Grantham branch as that is what they have recorded for Sleaford! I find it hard to believe there is no telephone number for Sleaford although probably better for the branch after looking at the reviews. The following morning I tried to log the complaint using the KFC online feedback and after taking a picture of our receipt and completing the form it gave invalid code? I completed several time passing the I’m not a robot but still it would not accept. VERY VERY POOR! We certainly won’t be visiting again

Second visit here, first time only received half the order but did not realise until we were home. Thought we would give it another try. Got full order (checked before leaving) got home, a 5 minute drive, the food was cold, the ‘special coating’ just did not taste right. Won’t be going back for a third try. Really dissapointed

Ordered, waited 20mins , no service order number had gone off board, several people who ordered after us got theirs. Asked for a refund which was given after 2 attempts. No reason or apology given. Not good for a chain restaurant.

Wanted something quick and easy on the way home after a long drive.

the service was terrible horrible attitude staring at me in a threatening way and personally id fire the lot of them they swore about me to other employees and very snide remarks thinking I couldn't hear them had to wait far too long bad lack of motivation and self worth of the employees its poorly managed and organised especially the night staff a investigation should be undertaken as I believe some are on drugs and all should be handed their P45 and told to sign on because they can't even communicate in a decent manner I would say to anyone don't waste your money on this company its my 5th visit there and every its got worse if this was my business id feel ashamed.

For the 4th time my order has been incorrect and inedible! How can you make the same mistake so many times!!! The most dismally run place in Lincolnshire, you really should employ people who can do more than take selfies, absolutely useless!! Furious yet again!!

Went to drive through. Have order and paid then told it will be a 15 minute wait. Not the end of the world but would have been nice to know before paid. Waited for order but when got home there were only 9 pieces of chicken and had paid for 18! Yes could have gone back but should not have to drive all the way back because they can’t do the job! Not impressed

Staff very unfriendly, rude and unhelpful. By making food seen person wiped his nose with hand and after he didnt washed hands just put them in chicken...

Been a few times now, food always cooked to perfection, only criticism is the drive thru can be a bit slow even when not busy

have to queue to pay then queue to collect but what arrived was better than okay and the cash lady showed great patience at my ignorance of choices although I felt it was bit of help yourself and although busy what arrived i did enjoy although not a tremendous lot of space inside , or in the car park on account of the drive thru. I think the plotted location is slightly out on the map. Toilets were clean and overall I scored slightly down on account of wanting some comfortable chairs to have a proper break which was not really possible but they were very busy as it was friday night at 1900

This KFC has been open just over one week. The food was well cooked served hot and the best we have eaten in a KFC for years. The staff were very busy but still had time for a smile and a welcome. The place is clean and tidy and looked good. For the first time ever my cobette was really hot and tasted like home cooked. The chicken was tender and spicy. The beans were hot and juicy.We will return. I give it 5 *. (The rating button does not work!)
