Kemps BBQ in Harrow

I have been meaning to write a review about Kemps BBQ Turkish Restaurant. Apologies for the delay. Firstly, Kemps is a refreshing restaurant in the heart of Harrow Weald High Road. The quality of their food is luxurious and tender. As you enter the resteraunt, you are welcomed by the chef and staff by the left where their counter is. The essence of kemps is enough to make your mouth water and a sense of craving for something luxurious from their generous menu. You can see the chefs and staff are dedicated and passionate about their produce. They are exceptional quality and high professionalism. Furthermore, their hygiene, health and safety are at high standard. You are reassured that you will be provided with fresh delicacy and tender food. The ambience in Kemps resteraunt is a cosy, warm vibe with a sense of the Turkish culture within. I must emphasise how friendly their staff are. Even when I am walking past, a kind wave from the staff really does warm my heart. The owner is a polite, kind soul and is ever so welcoming. The young man who is a chef their is very kind and always gives me a wave and hello which really does mean a lot to me so thank you!! All the staff deserve huge credit for their hard work. You can order via uber eats if you wish to have their food delivered to you which is very convenient. If you ever wish to try out a different resteraunt, Kemps is one of the places to go as they do not disappoint. The cost of their produce is very generous and their chips are to die for! I wish all the staff the very best and a huge thank you for their kindness. Kemps truly is the heart of the harrow weald community. Thank you 😊

I got 2 chicken kebabs for 21£ It was 8 little cubes of chicken and some salad that I have to throw away cause is old and taste like plastic No chips no nothing Is absolutely a waste of money they don’t want to offer you a meal they just want to take your money I will never buy again and I will not let any of my friends family to buy from there again You guys need to close your shop or stop scamming people

Amazing chicken, amazing falafel, amazing turkey. 10/10 I would recommend eating here! Owner and staff were all very kind.

Best Mediterranean/ Turkish food in Harrow. Food was always prepared fresh and its yummy . been many times and never it it failed . As a complimentary they serve with hot bread and cold mezze as starters and baklava with cream to end

Great food very good value,very good staff and the owner very polite, welcoming, never had anything to complain about, the restaurant separated from the front of shop takeaway business, would recommend to anyone, looking for good food and value for money,

Excellent kebab food old school fantastic 10 out of 10

Food was authentic, service was good. Parking a bit tricky so all round a good experience. Not my local or my regular place but a friend who loves nearby says its a family favourite.

We ordered takeaway from Kemps last night - mixed kebab of lamb shish, chicken shish, kofte, lamb donner and chicken shwarma with chips, salad and bread. It was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children (6 and nearly 4). Delicious, tasty food, chunky meat, everything was fresh. We all loved it! We'll definitely order from here again.

Good food, grat staff and service.

The service was very friendly and helpful. I like the lamb doner which served with perfectly cooked chips. The generous portion of salad and bread are bonus.

The best kebab 🥙 in the Harrow 💪💪

The lamb doner I ordered from this place is definitely the best I've had in Harrow. The meat was cooked to perfection and it was a very generous portion. And I was so happy that the salad came in a separate container, keeping the fresh taste. The size of the portion of chips was also good for the price. My only negative was the lack of pitta bread with my order, it definitely stated on Just Eat that the doner comes with pitta. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. I'll also upgrade my rating to 5 star if the pitta bread does arrive with the doner next time!

Food was very nice I ordered lamb doner regular size which was too much for me the portions are very generous my son's ordered mixed meats platter for two which was huge and very delicious the chips were so good and we had a nice mixed salad they give us a free starter bread and dips and a free dessert And the Turkish larger was very good I fully recommend this restaurant good value for money you won't be disappointed.

Can’t explain how filthy the packaging was including the paper bag and the containers (human hair, dust lol) didn’t even attempt to try the food (I felt bad but had no choice but to put it in the bin) not sure what their food and hygiene rating is but I have put a complaint through Uber eats.

Excellent meal, everything ordered tastes amazing. Staff are excellent in making you feel comfortable and are friendly but not over bearing. It is our safe bet with guests every time!

Freshly baked bread is incredible, soft fluffy and drizzled with se chilli seasoning. Cant fault this place at the moment. If im being critical, the guys on the phone need to be able to quote prices even if they are busy, doesn't bother me as a regular but can see how new customers can be offput.

Hands down the best kebab house I have been to in North West London & Middlesex. The food quality is immense, the flavours are tremendous, the service is of pure A* Class. Extremely friendly, professional and very clean. It's a pleasure to come here everytime! Don't miss out honestly you'll never be disappointed

Lovely food and great service, just like the Kemps I always remember from around the corner. Obviously some of the same people too. Definitely try their Turkish bread.

Superb service for customers.Customer care is excellent.But do not treat employees well.Very sad to hear about the staff payments.They get nothing other than the small wage which is not up to national minimum wage.

The meat was nice and the chips weren’t soggy. I requested sauces thinking they’d be delivered in separate pots. When I opened the non recyclable container the sauce had just been squirted straight on to the meat. Looked a mess and needed to scoop some off

🔊🔊🔊 They used to have good Chiken Donner (nice color ,soft and juicy),Noww is serving only the dry parts and the hard burn/roasted parts of it to don't lose it and make money with the wrong clients . If you want the good and nice Chicken donner ,the New cutter person will say NO and argue with you! All of this is mentioned from my experience ,please pay attention of ur order and spend ur money of what you deserve not what they Want!!! Chef Edward

Completely poor customer service. I understand the washroom is for customers only. But when someone ask to use washroom one day that does not mean he won't be a customer in the future. Work on your customer service guys.

Wanted to order the standard mix grill £12.50 , was told over the phone prices have now increased to £18.50, was not Impressed with tone of response, in any case I ordered the mix grill , which should have been a mix grill, however when I arrived to collect staff already very abrasive, then said prices have increased, I replied no problem, however, when I inspected the food tray only 2 pieces of doner & 2 pieces lamb shiesh & No chicken doner at all, just full of salads , the manager quickly closed the contanier & replied anything else, when I said please can you open again to just check everything is all there,, surprise surprise no doner , no lamb or chicken Shish just salad,manager said sorry I will put extra , Thanks but no thanks, , attempting to cover up there incompetence, i have been going there for at least a year , but now will definitely not be going back. , the propertier definitely trying it , , but should never try defraud local clientele

Great kebab - we got chicken shish, a chicken shish wrap, and a lamb shish. Really good customer service and are always friendly. The salad is great and refreshing. They separated the salad, the bread, and the meat, so it wouldn't all soak through when we got home. Not my first time here and it won't be my last.

Hello, I came today around 8:10 ordered fish on the phone for collection and when I got it and brought it home it was all burned . Always careless staff and fish was all Burnt . Not recommend this restaurant poor service

take away food was bad. Meet was overcooked and dry and chips wasn't crispy and it was overcooked, felt like it was fried and kept it for while and re fried. Don't recommend anyone to go.

Outstanding kebab house with a lovely restaurant,everything looks clean, all food freshly cooked in sight on the flame grill. Family run and friendly staff and the prices are low with no sacrifice on the quality of the food

Excellent mixed shish and rice!

The food was alright overall except the big piece if very sharp plastic that I found in my doner wrap. I mean it's ridiculous, if I wouldn't have spotted it I could have gotten hurt really bad. Good thing it wasn't in my kid's food. Disappointed

Check your order before collection, quantity on the menu is different than the actual order you will get. And if you complain they will basically say they changed the menu but it’s not on the website. Be careful!

Don’t be fooled by the shopfront ! I’m always wary when any place has almost all 5 star reviews, especially when it looks like any other ‘kebab shop’ from the outside. But from the moment I walked in I knew this place was the real deal. The Turkish house Red was fabulous value for money by the glass. Large complimentary warm bread served with 3 lovely dips. I had the chicken shish medium, cooked perfectly over the coals in the open kitchen. The service was 10/10 and all Covid procedures followed to a T. Great Turkish food produced with pride and executed excellently.

This restaurant is by far the best kebab place in harrow. Tastiest kebabs, big and generous portions, nice ambience, friendly staff and very good value. There mixed kebab is the best. Huge plate of various types of tasty BBQ meat which you will find difficult to finish. Lots of homous and Mediterranean sauces and nan bread on the house as well as baklava or Turkish tea

We were impressed by our first visit to this Turkish takeaway / restaurant. The quality of the food and service were very good. The pricing is fair and portion size also good. I tried the lamb yogurt dish which was quite different to other dishes I’d had before. Fresh salads and breads.
