Kebabish Hut in Barking and Dagenham

Just had a delicious takeaway - chana dal and aloo palak. Full, rounded flavours, popping with herbs and spices. I feel like someone just made me a proper home-cooked meal. Great value too.

I worked there and the owner shafqat sahab hasn't paid me. He owed me £444. I asked him to keep me on payroll on NI basis but he denied saying my lawyer is our of country. Now its been more than 6 months and I decided to remain silent because he will never pay me. I heard from staff that he has been doing this from every employe who works for him. Many students or workers who work have been abusedor mistreated by their bosses. Their shall be a voice for own right.

An excellent place for a quick and very reasonably priced lunch. I ordered the chana masala and it came with two free naan breads that were made fresh. All for £3.50 . The chickpeas were nice and moist and the sauce was well seasoned with a good depth of spice. I just wish there was a place like this closer to where I live as it's getting harder to find places like this nowadays . I shall return when I'm next in the area

Poor customer service attitude.

No customer service. Wanted to charge for mint sauce which was surprise. Food quality is not the same. Disappointed and wouldn't like to go again.

The most disgusting food I've ever tasted in my life. I got the lamb boneless curry and it even smelled weird NO SPICES just a weird smell and taste. Very strange curry. The pakoras are dry and even the salad has a weird taste. £19 for NOTHING.

Best takeaway around by far! When I lived in London, I would go miles out of my way to come here for half a tandoori chicken and chips. Really good value and amazing food. The people are also very nice. Would definitely recommend highly.

Great place for some desi food for a good price. I loved the taste. I never thought i could get biryani for just 2£. The taste is authentic. Its for those desi people who are missing the taste of their lands while trying to make their way here. I was so happy to have found this place.

Great curry, great price - a very authentic curry, I usually go for lamb off the bone curry. Good meat and the taste and spice and flavour are lovely. Good price.

Delicious food made me feel I’m back in India! Quite reasonably priced as far as London is concerned and it’s located just opposite to Barking train station. Loved their chicken curry, potato vegetable and white beans. Will definitely come here again for sure.

Same size containers, three different guys charged me three different prices as the same portion of lamb curry. Please asking the price first before purchase. I only had this experience in Turkey, can’t believe happened in the UK.

Never expected the food to be so good. The chicken curry, mash daal & freshly baked Naan surprised me. And if that was not all, the prices are really nominal.. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back...✌🏻
