Kebab King in South Lanarkshire

I ordered a mix kebab Saturday night I told them no salad no sauce no lamb shish only chicken tikka and donner and when I took my food home there was salad and sauce with lamb shish and it was so soggy cold it’s such a waste of money I paid £11.50 don’t go to this place horrible 🤢🤢🤢

Had put a note in to be called from hotel carpark... instead hotel reception had to call me... minor inconvenience. Chicken burger, and chips, at £6.50 was disappointing. A piece of froed chicken between a bun... that was it... oh and chips that seem to be yesterdays leftovers reheated. Onion bhaji rings was normal onion rings. Nothing special. Shish kebab, strangest shish ive had. Wont be ordering again

Ordered Chicken Tikka Kebab as part of a larger order, as I absolutely detest that horrible greasy/salty/fatty processed "Doner" meat that probably gets hauled out of the fridge from the previous night and spins round and round all night long in the open air to be sneezed on and for flies to hover over. You know, the thing that looks like a big jobby on a stick that people actually pay money for. Got handed order in a tied carrier bag but when home realised there was no chicken in it but yes you guessed it, "Doner" "meat". I'm not even sure what that stuff is made of. I tried against my better judgement to eat it, and my hands and face quickly became caked in a horrible greasy substance. It's like some kind of low grade artificial meat that was fabricated using vegetable fat in a 3d printer. Awful stuff. As per someone else's photos on here, it makes the bin look bad. Feel like I need to spend about 6 months in detox to flush that stuff out of my body.

Great Service. Ordered off JustEat. Food arrived quickly, really friendly delivery driver with the Shaved Head Food was delicious. Still warm and good portion sizes.

Used to love this place now there kebab is cheap and rotten while there prices have went up kebab is now thick cut and chewy no tast of lamb anymore either like a kebab you would get out a chip shop it tastes like now rotten used to drive for it to wont be back

A very disappointing takeaway from Kebab King. The chicken was hot and cold as if it hadn't been cooked properly. There were chewy bits that I had to spit out. The Naan bread didn't taste fresh and was quite tasteless. I won't be returning any time soon. The prices are not cheap and it was just a waste of money for such awful food.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered takeaway for me and my two hungry girls. Got told 45-60 mins. Over an hour and a half still no food. Called twice to be told it won’t be long out with driver. Food arrived and was stone cold. Called to explain this and the boss told me nothing he can do due to the weather. Offered 50% discount on next order ( not be ordering here again). Told him I wanted my money back and his answer was, well don’t eat any of the food and a driver will come back to collect the food and give me the money back!!!!!!!! As if it’s our fault the food was cold!!!!! Amazing how the driver came out with my money to collect the cold food within 45 mins!!!!! It’s still the same weather 😂 Pure attitude, no customer service what so ever. just total excuses for poor service……

Food is delicious but the time you have to wait is quite bad

Had a donner hoagie, it was a good size with plenty of meat and chips, tasted really good too couldn't fault it.

Used to like this place but recently waited almost 2 hours for a delivery which is a shocking length of time to wait. No update, no apology and pretty rude when I phoned in to see where it was. Food was pretty average as well. Wouldn't order again.

I had the chicken kabab just the best it's the only I go to I have a similar takeaway literally 1 minute walk from my house but I would rather drive to the Kabab King for the best takeaway food.

We recently ordered some food from here the food was very tasty, the portion sizes were good and it was delivered in a good time. We will be using again.

I am truly shocked at how downhill this shop has gone. After a being a regular customer for the past 6 month we were disgusted at the meal we recently had . The doner kebab was tasteless and like rubber . The pizza has no flavour and soggy bottom . I don’t know if this place has been taken over with new staff but I am done, waste of £18 just binned the lot .

Ordered a kebab tasted really strange not a normal taste and the guy at the door said I hope the order isn't wrong, definitely put me off here please don't order from here they give you FOOD POISONING I have been ill for days even reported to environmental health waste of time speaking to them, they don't know how to treat customers won't be ordering again!!!! Usually good but tonight's delivery was rank pizza wasn't great chips were as if they had been recycled heated and killed again and the poppadoms were defo ydays not impressed will stop using if they don't up their game

Definitely not the same as it was, currently waiting for an order, we ordered neatly 2 hrs ago, our last order they forgot drinks and promised to bring them but it never happened. I think this will be our last order …. Can anyone recommend a kebab shop? lol

Absolute thee worst place in East Kilbride.......not only the staff but the the food wasn't upto much either! Never again... Avoid

The food in here used to be great but since its been taken over its terrible. The pizza is so dry I don't even think they put any sauce on it just cheese over the dough. The pakora is greasy.

Absolutely barking. 16 inch spicy chicken pizza with Jalapeños and chips. No Jalapeños and not a divider in sight. Half the pizza stuck to the roof of the box. The chicken tastes like it has been sitting for a long time. It was hot I will give it that. Never will I order from Kebab King again. Disgrace.

I ordered a delivery from this establishment, a kebab, and when it was delivered it was only slightly warm, I had looked ordered, and paid for, an extra portion of sauce. As with the few previously ordered deliveries I discovered that yet again they had failed to supply the full order, I wonder how many people out there pay for the extra sauce every week. Money for nothing.

After a long absence can sadly say that this has to be the worst takeaway in East Kilbride not just the food but also the manner in which the company takes orders over the phone if I have to repeat my address one more time to them i think I'll start doubting were i live and to top it all they forgot my son's pizza never again

went and had to collect due to them not delivering to hotel. The pizza is absolutly stone cold and looks and taste like cardboard. I may aswell have just eat the box it come in it would have tasted better

Worst takeout in east kilbride by a mile do not order from here guys , ordered 3 in 1 deal kebab , pizza chips and can for 12.50 , arrived at takeout to collect got charged 15.50 place was busy so thought i had made mistake , got home with takout and realised they had not given me my chips or can so called straight away girl on phone said she had made a mistake they had charged me 3 pound for delivery by mistake , got told delivery driver would drop of chips can and 3 pound straight away , half hr later ( i live 2mins away) driver turned up with chips and can and 1 pound , called again and got told 2 pound would get dropped to me never heard from them again , so unprofessional , its actually stealing , new place right next to it "the manzil" is 100x better order from there guys dont make same mistake

Got food poisoning, Luckily Christ has my back though. Wont be coming here again. Got kebab meat and it was rubbish and it was horrible compared to other resteraunts. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Tikka's is the only decent one in EK tbh.

Awful. Saturday night delivery of food cooked probably on thursday. Most went into the bin. So many better place to order from in EK. New management i believe..... strongly suggest you give this place a miss,

Everyone loves a good old kebab king after a night on the sesh. Lovely people and understand what good customer service is.

Brilliant food and management.Fabulous tasting food great menu great portions fantastic price and best of all the staff are amazing so dont waist any time pick up your phone and get dialling or pop in and place your order for some of the best Indian food out there. In my opinion the best food in and around this place and management are also superbly fantastic to customers and staff. This is the best Indian food out there in my opinion the best service out there in my opinion and also a great selection of different types of food stuff for all the family from the kids to all adults. Great quality always and a really good service friendly environment and I will say very tasty food and a very clean establishment. Go get some food you will enjoy it so much it's very tasty..

Visited today for a pakora, pizza and chips. New front of house staff. Happy and friendly but still learning her way. Not an issue, everyone has to learn. The experience turned south when I sat for over an hour. As a Very patient individual, I recognised they were busy. When I eventually asked about my order they said 5 more minutes. Instead of being transparent that they had sent my order by accident with a delivery driver, they tried to sneak the pizza past me to make it look like they were running behind. I overlooked this but my order was stone cold and my chips were soggy. In the hour I sat there I noticed the same mistakes happening to customers over and over again. 1 refund and numerous phone call complaints about waiting. Kebab king are going for sheer quantity over quality. They take more orders than they are fit to handle and turn out any order just to get something to your door. Shocking team!

Ordered a donner hoagie twice from the place once over the just eat app once by phone both times got my order wrong and its overpriced, nearly a £10 for one item. Wont be ordering again.

Place is went massively down hill. Used to be the place to go but now it's the place to dodge. Kebab meat is like rubber and it's always it will be ready in 10 mins and you go to collect it and your sitting for ages. Guys all look like it's the worst life ever.

shocking ,delivery driver dictating to owner what was happening not polite either .she then went shouting fxxx .had food in hand offering customers lifts home while taken deliveries out no wonder the food is cold .still being loud mouthed no1 could hear the guys trying to give food out .6 people came in together 1 order the rest left until she went out then came back in once she left .. if you get this woman delivering food probably cold as she could not care about any1 but herself .the manager or owner needs to stand up to this its not a football ground and i would not take any1 in here or order food from them it is shocking in this day n age you cant go to your local n get your food to listen to nothing but vile

After trying elsewhere, we found that this is the best kebab in EK. We're pretty picky, so that should say a lot! Phone order in, pick it up, drive home and enjoy. Just had another one tonight, it won't be the last. Vic and Karon.

Kebabs, pizza, burgers, salad and curries the're all amazing.

Moved in nearby about a month ago and already been in there three times because I can't hold myself back, best Kebab shop in EK by miles, better than any in Kilmarnock too. Chips are smashing although they change oil too regularly which can mean a loss of flavour, absolutely beautiful lamb, never over-seasoned and melt in the mouth, well-sized portions and good service, had a read througg the reviews and I'm sure there's been a change of management because as a chef myself I couldn't find a fault in this place and it really deserves the five stars. Can't comment on delivery however as I've only ever been a walk-in customer.

Look forward to my Friday night takeaway from here. Good food and friendly staff.

I had to cancel an order after a mix up. Very rude workers one that started shouting and hung up on me it has made me doubt ordering again

Ordered munchie box at 8pm, arrived at 9.20pm with dried up kebab meat, greasy chips and 2 pieces of chicken pakora. Phoned shop for refund or fresh box... Arrived at 10.33pm. Absolute disgrace !

Order arrived very quick, that was it, order the sause separate, came coverd in not only sause but the wrong sause, so we called as we do not like the sause and had orderd a different one from the start, was then argued with and told we got what we orderd as I reviewd my order incase it was a mistake, baby brain it happens to find it wasnt, called bk asked for the delivery driver to come back and collect the unwanted mess to be told nop you have to come in, the customer service here is dismal, trading standers show that if there is a wrong item or unwanted item the customer is in titled to a full refund, do these guys think they are better than that, sorry they have got worse over the years we orderd from here alot now i think they dont give a rats butt about what people actualy order, i wouldnt go i to a shop and buy the wrong thing or get the wrong hair cut and still pay for it, if its wrong its wrong respect and own it, actualy sick of the cheak you get from some places, this is our treat for dinner not just fat lazy bastards that can be bothered cooking and its waisted cause of people like the dude on the other end of the phone.

Food was good although did wait a wee while because it was busy but overall very pleased with my food.

Normally cant fault food here but ordered chicken madras nan bread and free mixed pakora, got home but wrong order got chicken tikka masala, they offered to bring correct order out but rather than wait I drove back got new order, got home and nan bread was cold and not fresh, phoned and they said a new one would be sent right away as driver was there and would come straight out, still awaiting 25 minutes later 3 phone calls, at this rate curry will be cold had put it as 2 star but have now taken one off, nan arrived colder than first, we stay less than 5 minutes drive took over 35minutes now awaiting new curry and nan, order was placed in shop at approx. 10 past 8 now getting nearer 10.00 p.m. phoned 10.15 they say driver is refusing to deliver, no reason given but guess its because they don't get paid for it so had to drive back again so third time in shop, chef put nan in foil to keep it warm so was hot when I got home bit dry, madras hotter than usual think that was on purpose but food was nice, that's the sorry thing about it, now its 22.47 for something ordered at 10 past 8, told them I was putting a review on, was told do what ever, one delivery driver was in put left as soon as I got in, I did say that the drivers were there staff but was told basically they call the shots. also asked why I hadn't had phone call to say drivers were refusing and was told they didn't know my number although I had called at least 4 times, poor management, sorry won't be back I have scored fairly, food 3 star due to nan, service cant make it a minus so one, price 3

Best lamb in ek always tender and melts in the mouth no sore jaws eating or chewing. Superb in the breed with lots of sauce.

Worst "LARGE" pakora av ever had, wont be back

Just ordered a LARGE pakora and this is what I got for my £7.50 wonder what an average pakora wld have looked like, lucky if theres 50p worth of ingredients in this, will defo not b back.

Food more often a miss.just got a kebab salad had a tonne of salt on it . More food was coming back to shop than going out . Staff were more interested in next door ice cream shop than there own .never know what the food will taste like gave it plenty of opportunities more often than not a let down

Esperando 20 minutos para nuestra cena que fue claramente preparado y sentado en el mostrador, cuando nos preguntó por qué todavía estábamos esperando un empleado se convirtió en agresivo y juraron en nosotros así como decían que calló. Phoned for dinner at 10.15 and they didn't deliver my family's meal they just shut the shop at 11 now that's what you call good service

Just a kitchen for JUST EAT really. Walk ins get short shift and they seem to have trouble getting an order right. If you can get by all that the food is ok. Just got fed up going back to get orders corrected.

Sólo he utilizado el kebab king varias veces a lo largo de los años y siempre pensé que la calidad de la comida estaba bien. Como llevar a cabo regularmente mi India en la zona de westwood ha cambiado de manos y la calidad ha bajado significativamente, decidí dar una oportunidad para Kebab King mi preferido Pollo Tikka King Kebab. Para ser justos, tikka no es cocinado en un horno Tandoor como cabe esperar. Este lugar pone en las brochetas tikka un gas que tiernos plancha para degustar la sabrosa. Unwrapped dieron inicio, y despedazado! Fue fantástico. Altamente recomendado! !

Ordered here with a time of half 6 as we weren't in the house where they had delivered at half 5 where my family were confused and took it when we phoned we were told there was nothing they could do for us and they were very rude and blamed just eat telling us they don't get a time so what would be the point in asking us when it's never been a problem with anywhere else in just eat, instead we have just paid money to eat a cold dinner where we had also ordered Ice blasts which we can no longer drink. La comida es buena, pero siempre esperando siempre su. Pedido a través de comer solo y me dijeron 17:00 para la recogida. Desde el momento en el tiempo y también pedimos recibimos 45 minutos había desaparecido. El chico aún estaba limpiando la vaporera. No tome los pedidos si no listo para servir! Tenía este problema de sincronización unas cuantas veces. Entrar y llegar en 20 minutos y su 45 / 50 más tarde.

Ordered a prawn cocktail and the prawns still had their intestine track which was full. When i called they just said its not in their routine to take that bit out they are ordered in like that.. No refund or amything. Disgusting... Wonder if they would eat poo of an animal.

Ordered food a few times from here. I went in and ordered two chicken tikka hoggie/hoagies and a half pounder burger with chips The hoggie/hoagie was tasty and filling and decent value for money. Will order again

I was advised by a work colleague that this place was good. We tried veg and mince samosa, chicken tikka pakora, veg pakora, a nan bread and spiced onions with popadoms. The young guy doing the cooking had a poor attitude, literally chucking kebabs on to the grill, people are paying for this, a bit of respect for the food would be nice.The order seemed to take for ever to be ready, they didn't make the order for it all to be ready at once, the samosas and nan bread were ready long before the pakoras and then we had to wait for the chips. This was despite the girl behind the counter repeated asking (and being ignored) if there was any chips on to complete my order.By the time I got home, everything apart from the chips was cool to warm.The veg pakora was greasy and had an old oil taste, the chicken pakora was nice but it's not the same when you have to reheat. Samosas had to be reheated and were not great and the poppadoms were soft and chewy. The nan bread was good but again would have been better if it had not been sitting in a bag in the shop getting cold.This appears to be a popular shop but it was my first and last visit.

Used this place a few times however I will not be using it again! Phoned a takeaway at 8:45 and once they finally understood the order we asked the price and were told £14.70 and awaited delivery and this is where it went downhill, I waited.......and waited, I chased after an hour to be told that the order was still in the shop as they had become busy all of a sudden but it would be sent now, anyway 30 more minutes passed no kebab then doorbell goes kebab arrives and we are quoted £17.90. Now I know that inflation normally can happen but is this not usually annually as opposed to over a few hours, maybe they were trying to charge additional for the pants service? I got on the phone and the attitude stunk! I offered an ultimatum of I pay £15 or they take the kebab away, I was astounded when they rejected the money which was a surprise, the attitude of the female was stinking! I bet some poor person in EK will have ended up with some second hand kebab meat, shocking! Will not go back, just say No!

I've had takeaway from Kebab King several times with the family. The kebabs and curries have always been excellent. Huge portions of tasty food. Thoroughly recommend if you're looking for a takeaway and a night in. (Wouldn't advise going out afterwards as you might not be able to move!!)

Terrible service,too busy with delivery orders to even notice walk-in customers.delivery is poor too,orders are never correct and delivery is unacceptably slow,can take hours for an order to arrive.

The king kebab is massive but it is i think around £7 and when it's delivered it's even more go to Tikkas st leonards square their king kebab same size is £5

Brilliant food and I have never had a bad meal here at all KING in name and nature. It does sometimes take a little longer for a delivery than other places but that is because it is busy unlike most other Indian takeaways

Ordered a couple of kebabs with some chips for home delivery from this outfit tonight. I accept that with it being a Saturday night, they will be busy and delivery will take a while longer. ...but 2 hours from order to delivery is pushing it a bit I think. By the time the 'food' was delivered I was taking a hypoglycemic attack due to low blood sugar. Anyway...when the delivery arrived, I was really annoyed at the quality. All the food was really cold and needed reheated in t'oven. That apart, the doner kebab tasted okay but the chicken tikka kebab was the size of tuppence....I could greet !!! X factor totally ruined tonight and that is a step too far....will be ordering from Tikkas Tandoori as per usual the next time !!!!

the mixed hoggie is huge and the best value and most delicious kebab/wrap in EK it only costs £8.40 and is easily shared between 2. The curries are also FANTASTIC.

this place does it all and I cannot fault anything. The kebabs are to die for and considering the curries are not what this place is known for they SHOULD be. Sometimes you need to wait for a delivery or pickup but the only reason is it is sooo busy and that alone says it all
