Kebab House in Brighton and Hove

Kebab House doesn't look like much from the outside but it's my favourite place for late night eats in Brighton. It is conveniently located on West Street (where many late night venues are) and it benefits from having some seating (no need to eat it on the street). Their fries and garlic sauce are the perfect finish to a night out in Brighton, in my opinion. Is it the best food you'll have ever had in your life? Absolutely not. Does it taste like the best food you'll ever have in your life when it's 3am and freezing? Absolutely.

Moody server behind the counter, kebab tastes like sofa sponge. Not one leng wing in sight. Terrible behaviour

Amazing so kind employee and service food just to good and comes hot and lovely the food is delicious recommended for everyone and better than any restaurant in the country in my opinion it sells everything on any occasion

This is such an exceptional neighborhood takeaway restaurant. The kebabs are absolutely delish and the servings are large and super fresh. We’ve had about half of the items on the menu and they’ve all been great. The owners are lovely and welcoming and it’s around the corner from my family’s flat so very convenient and open late. Highly recommended.

very pleasantly surprised, was not greasy at all and was all cooked very well, normally i feel abit gross after eating a kebab but this was clean and i feel great. Would defo and will defo order again x

If I ever have a kebab, it’s normally at the end of the night after a good amount of beers to fend off the hangover the next day. Tonight, my girlfriend and I fancied one and we were both fully sober-just had a proper hankering for a massive kebab. Logged onto Deliveroo, ordered a lamb donner and a chicken shish kebab with all the trimmings from Kebab House and they absolutely smashed it. Definitely up there in one of the best kebabs I’ve had. (The others were in Berlin). But yeah, Kebab House on West Street are wicked!

Apparently this place is now under new ownership and the food was delivered on time and was delicious fresh and clean and tasty no complaints. I would not give it to the seagulls!

Ate here after Brighton pride. It was disgusting and the staff were incredibly rude. It also looks dirty (but I gave it the benefit of the doubt cos I was starving). Avoid it!

Just terrible, filthy dirty and the only bloke serving didn't seem to see us let alone serve us... didnt even ask for payment had to ask him how much it was and suggest I should perhaps pay?? As for the food I had a lamb shish it was like dog food. Just avoid and head to the lanes only went here as wanted something quick on the way to get my car fom Regent Square car park after a day out in Brighton.

Do not order from here, it is foul. Half ended up in the bin. We accidentally ordered a takeaway from here not realising it was a 1 star hygiene rated after-the-club kind of place.

Cannot understand these reviews clean and tidy? ...yes if you like eating dog sh#t was going to go here after a night out stood outside Googled hygiene rating it a 1 😱 beyond shocking but not surprised why would anyone eat here wouldnt even feed it to a rat!

A menudo venimos aquí para tomar una hamburguesa y papas fritas después de una noche de fiesta y siempre hace el trabajo. Tengo la hamburguesa vegetariana, que en realidad es muy buena y las patatas fritas siempre son buenas. Lo único es que solo aceptan efectivo, por lo que sería mejor si tuvieran una máquina de tarjetas.

El kebab con salsa muy picante estaba a la altura de lo esperado a las 00:30 de la madrugada. Lo que hizo que mi experiencia como cliente fuera poco satisfactoria fue la ergonomía poco acertada del lugar. La barra metálica lateral que se ubica frente a las mesas de madera me obligó a tener la espalda inclinada en 17,63 grados hacia delante para poder sentarme sin golpear mi hombro. Además, los fluorescentes blancos provocaba cierta sensación de discomfort visual.

El joven que nos atendió tenía un servicio al cliente muy pobre. Nos ignoraron mientras estábamos hablando y no parecía demasiado molesto.La calidad de la comida era realmente mala e incluso tenía pelo. El lugar no parece limpio tampoco. Sentí remordimiento después de comer desde allí. Definitivamente nunca volverá.

The only problem I had was that the Donner meat was "Grainy". I don;t know if that was down to the way it was cut.. Or just cheap meat. Lovely Falafel and choice of salad.

Roaming the street at four in the morning after a night out i was suprises to find somewhere still open. A wide range of late night, soak up the alcohol foods. Lovely falafel burgers.

Casa de kebab. Por dónde empiezo. Probablemente el mejor kebab que he comido en mi vida, carne jugosa, oh tan tierno. El personal están iluminados, hablar con mi principal manik hombre Te acomodan con un estruendo de kebabs. Los chips de queso son los mejores. 10 / 10. ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ 5 estrellas.

Brought chicken donner meat and chips and was disgusting!!! Inedible. My partner even took it back and got another but was still foul!!! Did not taste like chicken at all!!!! Not even worth one star!!!!

The kebab is over £5 which is a bit pricey. The chips aren't vegetarian as they're cooked in the same fat as the meat. The vegetarian kebab is alright but a bit basic.

Inundada con cerveza, nos decidimos por un Doner Kebab. Entramos y elegimos 2 cordero y una de pollo. Generoso para repetir de carne y ensalada. Dio en el clavo. Tienda estaba un poco sucio y no la clasificación de placa mostrando la limpieza de la comida. Todavía el kebab era muy sabroso y abundante, así que no puedo quejarme. Recomendaría

We visited here for lunch recently and as a family we had a lamb donor, falafel burger and regular burger... The only one out of the group that was decent was the donor. Probably wouldn't try again.

Me gustó mucho el shawarma kebab que probé y por más o menos 7£ tuve una comida completa con papas fritas y bebida.

Me fui el domingo por la noche si las vacaciones de mayo. El miembro del personal estaba interesado en todo lo demás me bar el cliente. Él no cumplió con mi línea y yo tener que repetirlo, ya que estaba hablando con un colega. Pedí ensalada de lechuga y sólo se servía en mi kebab. Sin duda fue el peor kebab que he probado y el servicio era grosero. Nunca más.

Had a shish kebab, did ask them not to over cook, as it makes the chicken dry. Unfortunately the chicken was dry, which did spoil the kebab. Chilli sauce could of been hotter that is my preference.

Visitamos aquí un viernes por la noche después de cuatro horas de viaje en coche de los Midlands, para ser recibidos con un solo gruñido. Los miembros del personal era muy grosero, limpieza de tienda, que era muy pobre. El tamaño de las porciones estaban bien, los precios exorbitantes teniendo en cuenta la calidad es chocante. Patatas fritas (patatas fritas) estaban cocinados varias veces, carne Doner estaba seco y muy fría. No es nada agradable. Llena un vacío, pero sin duda no lo recomendaría.

Large portions, well cooked, good quality, value for money chicken donner kebabs, with an great chilli sauce. Ate here several times and always great.
