Kebab Grill in Darlington

Pros: - large amount of food (ordered deal 3 with nuggets & coke) - beef in the kebab tasted ok Cons: - took well over an hour to arrive (3 min drive away) - luke warm - chicken was dry - donner was chewy & tasteless - asked for yellow/green chillies in the salad but didn’t get any - pizza too doughy (thin base would be better), specially tasteless crusts Really didn’t hit the spot after a long day travelling/working and staying in a hotel - had to throw most of it away tbh..

Tall long skinny boy at the counter thought he was all that, small bigger boy next to him was clearly eating the cheese and thought no one could see

Delivery time was 2 hours 15 min.shocking. Parmo was watery.donor meat has a funny taste.not the best.this place has gone downhill change of chief I don't no.cant wait to go elsewhere.kind regards I do not recommend.

Rated as one of the best pizza shops in Darlington at the moment. I go there all the time. Calzones and pizzas are excellent. Anything off the grill is even better. I recommended this to my friends and now all of them are repeat customers. Highly recommend.

We use the kebab grill regularly the chicken tikka wraps are fantastic, all our family use the kebab grill 😉👍

Can't find anywhere better in town. It took a bit of time before I tried this place but so glad I found it early on.

Please Don't Waste your Money Give them opportunities to put it correct. They really not bothered.. This was first kebab shop in Darlington.. What a mess now

Food is very high quality, tastes great, and so is very good value. My son has been wanting to try there for a while and wasn't disappointed.

Best kebab in town,also food is nicely prepared not just shot in box,time is given to send nice freshly prepared food.Hygiene is 5 stars a must in any takeaway.Tried a parmo and it was very nice.Iv told family and friends to try Kebab Grill and all have said they enjoyed the food not one bad comment.Keep up the good work sending delicious takeaways to Your custoners.Thankyou.

Ordered chicken kebab with the wife, during the night up all night with stomach cramps and diorea, would not recommend to anyone

Excellent quality and value for money, together with friendly service. Food is always really fresh. Without doubt the best kebab shop in Darlington.

I've been coming to this kebab shop since it opened in 1981, and I've never had a bad experience yet. In my opinion it is Darlington's best kebab shop.

Yet again I received the wrong food. Ordered a meal deal ordered 2 pizzas how hard can it be to get this wrong? Also no garlic sauce. Will I use these again think not

Very rarely eat kebabs now but have fond memories of many an " Abduls kebab" in Manchester . Theses kebabs are grim , really awful , not sure what meat it is you have to be really hungry and probably abit drunk .

Having ordered a meal for delivery to my guest, I was left most embarrassed by receiving the wrong order and the subsequent refusal to deliver the correct dish. This is completely rude and unacceptable.

Gave an deservedly negative review over a year ago, but took a gamble and was very satisfied with the quality of the food. Would certainly use again.

Delivery time & service was good. However food wasn't upto usual standard. Chicken kebab had been cooked that long it was hard and dry. Chips tasted like they had been stood their all night & were brown. The garlic bread was nice!

First order as our regular was closed. Very impressed...may be a new regular?!

Order wrong Again, driver called me for 20 mins screaming down the phone telling me he was outside my house and wasn't, eventually when the food arrived it was freezing cold, called the shop they dropped off missing items which was too late to feed 4 kids and refused to refund my payment. Wish I hadn't paid online I would have refused delivery. Wont be ordering from them again.

Delivered early , food perfect.

Paid for jalapeños on my pizza and when the pizza was delivered it had no jalapeños. Extremely disappointed!

Unfortunately it was burnt?! Its a shame because its normally good

it was rank and looked like it as made by a 4year old i was really disappointed by the restaurant when i rung them to say something and they didnt care and i feel like the place has started to go down hill loved the place but now not going to order from them anymore

Very disappointed and very unsatisfied! My order was late! At least half an hour late to the time they gave me, so over all I waited about 1 hour and 25 mins! Rang up to see where it was and not very good customer service and have no help or apology at all! Also when our food finally came it just got handed to me with no apology or no kind will gesture which is unacceptable! I will not be going back here EVER AGAIN!

Said would be here for 8pm didn't turn up I had to go and pick it up. In total 1:30 wait then when I got it was freezing cold. Would never order again

Very nice but missing salad for chicken kebab!

Topping on the Parmo was lovely as were the sides etc but the chicken was very rubbery and tasted cheap. Would definitely use again but wouldn't have the Parmo

Ordered a few times and been fine, but took 2houts nearly to deliver the wrong meal and it was disgusting. Very disappointed with the service after using them for several weeks. There excuse when we called to complain was they have been busy !!! I could handle the wait but the food there is no excuse.

There was no faults with the food, everything was amazing. Only thing I would say is with the meal deals Garlic or Chilli dip should be an option and a large bottle of coke should come too

OMG, I ordered a special kebab, one of those what has a bit of everything in. It was delivered in a large pizza box and when I opened it I was amazed to see that there was enough to feed a family. There was loads. Nice food, great selection, good service and overall 5 out of 5 from me. Won't need another delivery for a week as I will still be eating this. Next time I will invite the neighbourhood round to help me.

Received a hot pizza which was supposed to be a chicken pizza. They must have been forgotten about the chicken. Cold pre cooked chicken has then been put onto a hot pizza then hot Donna meat on top of that. I called the restaurant and they don't understand the problem.... I'll never use them again

The food was not overly warm and tasted awful. My Donna wrap was literally that with the sauce and salad separate. The garlic bread was almost luminous yellow and was not 'loaded' with garlic, it tasted stale and bland. One of the garlic sauces was in a small pot and the other was in a larger one?? This was not requested. The wrap was rubbery as well. 25 minutes was added onto my order making it nearly 1hour for delivery in total and when ordering at 17.30 on a Thursday I thought this was unacceptable. I have thrown half of it away really disappointed, not the takeaway they used to be.

No donner meat on top of my pizza.. Ordered a special wrap the other week and was no donner meat in. Shame because the food is always amazing but a lot of things starting to be forgotten.

Ordered takeaway while at work, when it arrived they gave us the smallest pots of sauces I had seen and when called up they would not provide us with anymore. Kebab meat had grizzle in it. Pizza was average with not much topping on. My workplace will not be ordering from these again.

Usually amazing from here, but parmo was hard and cold on bottom and forgot donner meat on a meal deal 3, coleslaw wasn't as good as usual dunno if they've changed it?? If so, change it back

Parmo was awful tonight considering it's usually really nice. Chicken was flat and tasted like rubber, cheese all sloppy and looked undercooked and rushed. Godfathers all the way for me now. Really disappointed as kebab grill used to be my favourite. Sort it out to how it used to be 😕

Food wasn't the best, poor amount of donner meat on the pizza for a 12", chips were over cooked aswell as the pizza. Very disappointing considering the food is usually very nice.

Amazing food & usually speedy delivery! Last night we waited nearly 2 hours for a pizza. Rang up after an hour and 30 mins & they said it'll be 5mins and we still waited 20 mins after tht 👎🏼

Ordered food. Took over an hour to receive a phonecall from the delivery driver to say they were outside, he was foreign, didn't understand what I was saying, he was at the wrong property, he didn't listen and continued banging on the door of some random persons house and wasn't listening to what I was saying so I hung up and called the takeaway to explain where I lived so they could better explain to the driver. 20 minutes later I received another phonecall from a female with the driver who didn't speak English at all again saying they were outside and to come to the door. Went outside and there was no one there. They then had me on the phone for a further 10 minutes while they drove around talking to each other. So I hung up again and rang the takeaway, they said they'd call the food back and send it out with someone else. I said that's not good enough we've been waiting for ages and I've had a massive problem trying to speak to them on the phone numerous times! - that's 30 minutes wasted trying to explain where I live when if they'd of stayed on 1 road they'd of found it. And also way over an hour after our delivery time! The manager refused to do anything. So I would like a refund please!

Ordered from here past few weeks and tonight very dissapointed, put the order through at 19.17 and it didn't arrive till 20.45 and the food was just barley warm.!! Think might it order here again

Asked for 2 garlic, chilli and bbq sauce and only got 1 garlic and chilli!!

The staff are really friendly and try to help everyone as fast as possible and I think that this takeaway is fantastic and the food is soooooo nice all in all a amazing takeaway

Food arrived cold, the pizza was undercooked with the wrong ingredients on. The garlic sauce they sent was plain mayonnaise.. Very disappointed, unfortunately I will not be ordering from here again

1st time ordering and was dubious as other reviewers mentioned very poor delivery times. Ordered anyway and yes was over half an hour late. Ordered just after 8, expected delivery time was 9:20, arrived 21:55!!! However food was very tasty and loads of it. Would order from here again but would order it 90 minutes before you need it! 😀

Kebab meat in the wrap was very salty! Garlic Mayo was Fab- Unfortunately the delivery was 20 minutes later than expected-

The delivery time was 1hr 20minutes which wasn't ideal and the lady on the phone didn't apologize for it but the food made up for it it was lovely couldn't fault the quality if tried

Taken over 1 and a half hours when I phoned was informed is just leaving the restaurant now food was good but times was very poor

Awful... Ordered a kebab wrap and it came in a box just full of cold meat with 2 wet pittas ... 'Wrap'?!?!?

Parmasan seemed but bland and didn't seem to have any if much bechamal sauce on.....garlic sauce was watery and not nice and thick. Was 25 minutes late in being delivered too. Shame really as we were told was a really nice takeaway.

Really disappointed with our takeaway last night, took 1 hour 35 mins to arrive, phoned up after 1 hour 5 minutes to be told it would be with us in 10 minutes, arrived another 35 minutes later. Food was cold, garlic bread hard and inedible. We have been customers with Kebab Grill for over 25 years and this experience has made us wary of ordering again

Absolutly disgusting u cant even bite into the garlic bread its that burnt its rock hard disgraceful never again from here

Ordered at 8:15. Didn't turn up till 9:40 and only ordered chicken, Parmesan and donner meat, and then they forgot to send our donnor meat so had to wait another 20 mins. Really bad service. Not the first time they've forgotten something off our order. Almost every time we order food here, something is forgotten.
