We have had food poisoning here 3 times in the last 6 months. We like the flavours of the food but the food hygiene needs another look at.

Do not order direct from here. They’ve taken my money but no food!!! Not answering the phone either.

We placed an order through deliveroo ( we have ordered for years) and only 1 meal arrived when we ordered two.The owner has said that the driver stole the food and deliveroo have of course not commented on that but said there is nothing they can do. The driver at the time said the owner only gave one bag with one meal. The owner had told us he there is nothing he can do and he won’t use his drivers as it becomes his responsibility then?! Really shocked and never really leave reviews but why use deliveroo if they ‘always steal food’?! Won’t be ordering again and don’t advise anyone to either .Attitude from the owner is awful .

We’ve had takeaways from here for the last few years and it’s always been great. I like that they offer something a bit different to usual takeaways with the Kati Rolls (I like the Nepalese spinach and paneer Kati Roll). The onion bhajis and vegetable pakoras are really nice too. You can also choose how hot or mild you’d like your food to be. The food here’s reasonably priced and they deliver to a wide range of areas across Cardiff. I’ve always ordered from their own website.

Waste for money, worst taste that i had never tasted before🤮

Normally love the Asian beef noodle boxes but yesterday's boxes arrived really dry and the beef didn't taste right. Wife has also subsequently had a bad stomach.

the spicy masala fries arrived cold, stale and spongy – completely inedible. the paneer wrap was nice albeit a bit dry, indo noodles were nice. overall a bit disappointed

Extremely disappointed tonight. For the second time, I have ordered a home delivery and there has been a problem with the driver. The first time I ordered from them, the food took 2 hours to arrive. This time, I ordered food and paid. I returned to the website to check where my food was and the order had been cancelled without informing me. I rang and was told again, a problem with the driver? Dont offer a delivery service if you can't provide one!

Amazing service and delicious food! We had an issue with their website (payment went through but order wasn’t registered), but they were very helpful when we went there and in the end everything was fine. The owner and staff were very friendly and it shows that they really care about their customers - we will be ordering from them again!

OK food. Noodles were very tasty. Curry felt a bit 'formula' tho tbh! We were first in of the day and I asked for the snack bar table tops to be cleaned as they were not clean at all! Chap said they'd been done the night before! Clearly not tho!

Fantastic service - It was very easy to place my order on the phone, the person was very kind and patient! The food is flavorsome, very nicely packaged and unique to most takeaway I have had. I can recommend the beef wrap and the 3 piece sweet & spicy chicken! Delicious!

Food is always very delicious, very professional, high standard of service and they go extra with the little details. They had also surprised me with a free desert (Kheer), which topped off the meal. I recommend this highly!

Ordered from here over the weekend. We had the afghan chicken noodles, afghan chicken rice, indo chinese noodles, masala fries, spring rolls and they put in some free onion bhajis. Everyone enjoyed their food, the quality of the meat was good, and the taste and spices were spot on. We will definitely order from here again. Portions are big, one rice or noodle box offers 2 filling portions, perfect for the next day! Hint: The extra spicy afghan chicken is definitely extra spicy, we had to pull out a lot of green chillies! The normal spicy version was just enough heat for us, without burning our tongues! Delivery was quick and within the timeframe stated, and food was hot on arrival. They also do a selection of roti wraps and pizzas, so we'll give these a try next time.

Its 'ok'.. Very expensive vs other restaurants in a similar line, for the quality and portion that you get. food was bit bland, dishes very skinny on meat (I'm veggie usually but occasionally treat myself to a meat dish, but for £7 per box of essentially plain rice/noodles it seemed a bit tight). Prawn crackers were good.

Katiwok has a mix of Asian food, they taste great (especially the samosas) and are good value. The person serving has always been friendly.

Service was transactional no effort to help when I had queries over dishes. Had 3 small dishes the chicken wings were nice, but the chapati was really heavy and dry. I asked about the spice level of the spring rolls and was told they were a it spicy, they were not and lacked flavour. Inside it's a bit shabby but it's in a location where in and out fast food is popular. You can sit on the high stools and look out to the road to eat if you dont want to take out.

Quick pit stop really enjoyed the food.

Stopped here for the Momos, they are served in a soup, fast service, attention to detail. Small area for sitting.

I’m not a very adventurous eater so this was a big step for me . It was just okay - not great and not bad . I would recommend you give it a go because everyone’s taste Buds are different . Bright and creative decor and lovely smell 😀🥡

Delicious Asian food. Huge menu. Really spice meals.

The best food in the city in all categories. Love the noodles with chicken and egg. Amount of food is huge, I think in the biggest box was nearly 1000g (1kg). And it's great on the next day - I'm sure you're not gonna eat it at once. Perfect food for very reasonable money. Order was always right, never had any problems with getting something different than I ordered so they keep an eye on this. And the stuff is very very friendly. Sometimes I visit them even 3 times a week when I'm busy and have no time to cook at home. And never regret it. Didn't try other door than noodles cause they're so good but I believe everything else is good as this. Will try pizza soon

Great effort has been made to track allergens in every dish. Food is stellar. Recommend particularly the fish bites.

Had the pleasure of visiting Kati wok in Cardiff. The food was awesome from the soup to the Kati Rolls and went back for dinner to finally enjoy the noodles and dessert. The friendliness of staff made us feel as if were home away from home. 👌 Well done

Absolutely Amazing place to order from/eat in. Design is very well done. The menu is stunning with pictures and a lot of choices this restaurant has. The friendly staff is making your food straight away from 3-7 minutes. I love the way this place makes their food and how they handle the walk-ins whenever it is so busy with delivery. Recommending for all people who would love to have food from the best ingredients! I guarantee you will remember this place.

The best Thai & Chicken noodles in Cardiff!

I ordered food last night at 9.30pm Malaysian chicken noodle box and seafood rice box. Both were extremely salty. I drove back to complain and to give the food back but shop was closed at 10.25pm. Really, really disappointed with this takeaway.

You are my new go to Asian Takeaway. I’ve got bored of the meat with spicy gravy that a lot of Indian and Bangladeshi places serve. If you order any expensive meat from these places you usually get 4 paltry pieces swimming in tons of sauce for £8. A bit jaded, I wanted a curry but I didn’t want a curry from any of ‘those’ places. You popped up on Just eat and I love your Kati Rolls. So I thought we are in with a good chance here. We ordered a beef roll, Meat samosa, the lamb curry and the mixed beef and chicken rice. Wow is all I can say. Plenty of meat in everything a good level of spice and those Meat Samosa are fantastic. They even rival Keralan Karavan’s samosa but are just different. A week later I ordered for me and ( I didn’t tell him I was ordering it) my Asian friend who’s 2nd generation, parents from India and grew up in Bristol. He is super critical of any ‘curry’ he eats. He absolutely loved it. Thanks for showing me Asian Takeaways can be good.

I go to Kati nearly every week. The katirolls are delicious, as is momo (dumpling) soup. I can't really say much about the rest of the menu because those things are so tasty that I've not tried anything else!

All four of us (one vegetarian adult, one omnivorous adult, one vegetarian child and one very fussy eating child) found something great on the menu. The noodles were fantastic - a good mix of veg (and in the one meaty dish, plenty of chicken), with adjustable spice levels to suit our tastes, and the child-size pepperoni pizza was a big hit with our fussy eater. The portions were generous and we were all very happy with our order. The guy was friendly and helpful. We’d definitely go again.

Favourite Asian food, quick preparation and delivery, many food deals which are very affordable! Food is always delicious.

Probably the best takeaway in Cardiff (I've tried many). The food is outstanding. The paneer and spinach curry is delicious and the fried rice is cooked perfectly. Everything tastes fresh. You can tell they really make an effort to cook truly delicious food. It's the only takeaway that's left me feeling like they care about the quality of the food they serve. Complimentary rice pudding and prawn crackers too.

Was excited to try this place because of all the excellent reviews, unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. The negatives. Had the spinach and paneer curry, it was very very watery, and tasted primarily of salt. Not good. Ended up throwing the egg fried rice away, I'm sure some people would like it but it mostly tasted of onion. The mint sauce that came with the curry was soured so I didn't want to risk it. I really expected more for the price and amount of good reviews. Positives Very friendly staff, very well kept inside. The vegetable samosas were excellent, would highly recommend them! I might of just been unlucky with how mine was made, but I can't recommend this due to my experience. Plenty of curry houses near with very good curry every time.

I asked for medium spice but it was so hot i couldnt eat it all. Normally medium spice is just a little bit spicy. So they need to get the right amount of spice correct.

Visited tonight as a take out for my family, the owner was very nice & helpful and threw in freebies of Kheer (rice pudding, which was very tasty) and prawn crackers. This is a well presented restaurant with enticing food options for lovers of Asian & oriental cuisines. Kids meals were very good, both had pizza 👍🏻 Sides were delicious, vegetable spring rolls and vegetable samosas a real treat! Chicken wings were standardly fried. Our mains were both a Kati roll from a £9.99 money deal, Karachi Shami Kebab & chicken Mumbai. The chicken was really moist and the better of the two but regrettably both were really dry due to (I believe) that a very large wholemeal roti was used. It was cooked and had the ingredients wrapped inside it like a roll. The Karachi Kebab was very dry too and needed sauce & there wasn't much salad inside. The sauces provided were good though. There are plenty of other mains to choose from, anything from noodles to curries so if I had my time again I'd make another selection & believe with the right main this could easily be a 4/5 star review due to the delicious side orders! Would go again. Couldn't fault the service either - really pleasant.

Vi beställde hemkörning och de kom tjugo minuter innan utsatt tid. Åt tre olika rätter varav jag tog en spicy och det var den. Allt smakade bra...kunde kanske varit lite mer kött o räkor i. Helt klart bra o välsmakande mat hemkörd till dörren till ett bra pris. Trevlig kille dom körde ut maten.

Always order from these guys for take out. Katiwok chicken and beef noodles and a huge side of sweet and spicy chicken wings on the meal deal. Food is usually here withinn 15-20 minutes every time. Top standard food, and service is always with a smile!

Thought I would try this place again, 18 months after I first reviewed it. I swear the nights I choose must be the main chef’s off night. The positives was it was delivered really quick, food was hot, spring rolls were yum and enjoyed the rice pudding. Negatives my Mumbai chicken curry had a weird flavour that tasted like it didn’t belong which overpowered everything and the rice was overly oily.

I visited KatiWok today to get some noodles for dinner. Saying with no any lie, I must admit that everything was done really quickly, I waited maybe 7minutes maximum, with a passion and love from workers. I had a regular portion, but it seems that it will last for 2-3 days, endless amount of noodles. The kitchen guy was very nice and also wrote me 'Buon appetite' on the box, it's really nice of him, thank you! The lady who was taking orders was also very quick and nice. Satisfied, happy, full of food.

The katiroll was a bit bland but still okay enough!

The quantity was too little. I ordered a Momo Dumpling soup, instead what I received was a Dumpling in a curry, there was very little soup. Noodle was alright but it is not take-away worthy. Hope you improve the quality and quantity of the food.

Never complained about food before. Actually had to spit it out. Everything just tasted of burnt oil. Worst thing I’ve ever eaten. Restaurant not interested when I called them. Basically just threw £16 straight in the bin. Worst takeaway in Cardiff!

Food was 30 minutes early which at first I was glad about but it was awful it all tasted like it was just warmed up and the portion sizes and flavour wasn't very nice at all. Really let down as the food was expensive as it is and i didn't feel like I got what I paid for.

Yes it was late, but Katiwok did message, which was great. No issues, and it has never been late before. So just super busy I would imagine. A great place to eat with great service.

Food was almost an hour late. Delivery person made me walk around Ely in the rain for my food. The food was cold when I actually found him. Didn't even apologise. Terrible, terrible, service. Really disappointed.
