It is a great place for a coffe and a dessert. The staff is really nice and helpful. The view is amazing.

I'm not so good on my feet. Went in, the lovely guy took my order i asked if they could bring it out. Thee lady came out to make sure the table was clean. Lovely coffee shop. Reasonable prices. Definitely come back here the next time we our in Hastings

This is a WONDERFUL place. Excellent food, great choice, good value, service, lots of different people use this place which is a good thing. Also, you can bring your dog There is anything from mint tea and Persian food - including veggie or vegan - to avocado and eggs on toast, to coffee and Danish pastries. There are also a few pavement tables outside. We love it and are very thankful that it's only down the road

The afghani biryani I had here is one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. And very reasonable too.

Nice food but check the price before ordering. I ordered a lamb biryani and it cost me £12.50 (Used to be £9.00) for this price I wouldn't expect any fatty bits of lamb, sadly that was not the case. We ordered x2 biryani's, x1 dried onion and 2 pitta bread's and hummus and it came to £38.00. Sadly I wont be going back.

I came here on 8th October 2024. This was the best cappuccino I've had in years! (And I have high coffee standards, having lived in Sydney for five years.) I just visited before a flat viewing, though I considered working here. The WiFi worked well. Dogs are welcome, which is lovely. Firstly, the atmosphere was very pleasant, with well dressed older men sitting reading (right up my street) in the front window; this was what made me enter as I couldn't really see in from the street and had planned to go elsewhere. There are tables/chairs as well as sofas and armchairs of various kinds. The menu seems to have very good Persian offerings, though I didn't try any. I ordered the cappuccino. It was £3 (amazing!), and was brought to my table by an attractive young woman, with great care and solicitousness. The coffee was a large size, decorated with a very pretty leaf design. To my amazement the foam was as flavoursome as the coffee, AND it was the perfect temperature! It was perfectly hot (ie not lukewarm) and lasted twenty minutes or more - I was writing and forgot to drink it but it also wasn't too hot on arrival (unlike Costa). The cafe has lovely bookshelves, and encourages conversation. The toilet was clean and tidy. I just didn't like the random chest of drawers outside it, and the main cafe itself had some other random furniture that didn't look as nice as it could - otherwise I'd give it five stars! A really delightful cafe experience overall.

They do make a lekka latte. Hubby usually has to drag me away from my easel, but I do enjoy my time at the gym. The steam room and pool are my favourite resting spot (outside my art studio of course lol that will always be my favourite spot).

The staff were fabulous! Very welcoming, and helpful in getting us a high chair. The baby-chino was thoroughly enjoyed by the 5 year old, and the 1 year old loved her juice. However, one female customer kept staring and tutting at the fact there were children in the establishment. It spoilt the children's gran's treat, which was a real shame.

I only had tea and cake, but there was a good selection of Middle Eastern foods to sample, prices,very reasonable, staff friendly. Plenty of art, books, and bits and pieces to look at, Kassa Coffee is also dog friendly. The restaurant was busy, and had a relaxed atmosphere.

A very relaxed place to eat with a very varied menu and delicious food.

I’ve been going here for years. It’s just a very low key unpretentious place with lovely food with huge portions, nothing fancy. Food has a lovely home cooked feel and very tasty. A very relaxing experience. Note: The service is not a full on service as you go to counter & order your food (& pay for it in advance & they are no longer cash only!) & get your own water-filled jugs to take to table. This works out fine and preferable to me as no waiting around for a bill & keeps the costs down! They do bring out to table and check all is ok etc. The staff are lovely. The 5 stars is for all the lovely times I’ve been here even if just for a coffee siting outside catching some rays!

I went here with my family for breakfast and it was great! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the cafe was comfortable and welcoming. Very much recommended.

Went here for lunch, interior is welcoming and pleasant, service was good, and the food was lovely, we had the chicken and lamb stew which was very large and extremely tasty and affordable!!! We will definitely return and recommend to others to visit!

My friend and I came in here having realised all the cafes were closed on the high street. Sat down and we’re forced to move to smaller table with only one chair when there was two of us. No real apology or care, seemed whole focus was maximising profit on the day. Ended up getting take away; food and coffee wasn’t that good either - better off staying at home! The place did seem popular with the retirement crowd however.

Dropped in for coffee and croissant on Sunday morning. Friendly service, tasty pastries, good coffee and reasonably priced. Will go back.

I've been going since it opened. I was pregnant and they had a sofa was all at first but the food is always top quality and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are amazing! It's the only place I've ever been where I have never had myself or heard a complaint. My now 16 year old loves the place too. Especially the chicken wrap.

Very nice and cozy place with a book gallery to sit and read just across the pier on the ocean. Full Halal menu, which is surprising considering the location. Friendly staff and good coffee.

Used to be good but this is the second time I have been disappointed with a main course. Very watery and very little flavour. It used to be so much better. Great coffee and cakes though!

Called in for a Sunday brunch. I found the menu limiting but I wasn't aware of the food genre as I was more concerned with being fed. Really friendly staff and what I had was lovely - who would think to pair a toasted cheese sandwich with humus? Yum! I'll definitely be back another time for a later meal, the lunch menu looked tasty!

Chicken wrap was delicious, gorgeous thin and toasted bread.

I was a little disappointed by this nice looking little coffee shop. They had no semi-skimmed milk which meant no skinny coffees were available. I had a standard americano and it wasn't great. On the flip side, one of the people I was there with said the vegetarian offer was excellent

Stopped in yesterday on a whim (and because I was hungry!) as I walked along the seafront. There’s a guy who’s always sitting at a table outside drinking cardamom tea served in a pretty little silver teapot. I’ve seen him there even when it’s freezing. Don’t know why, but that prompted me to go in. At the suggestion of a fellow diner, I got the Afghani lamb biriyani with a side of pita & yogurt with mint. Oh my, so good!! And enough for dinner at home later. Friendly staff, simple interior, windows that look out to the sea. Lovely. They close at five so go for lunch. If you hate styrofoam as I do, bring your own container to pack up leftovers. I may go back today!

So I ordered the Mediterranean breakfast never seen the most load of rubbish ever I got ! I got a plate full of salad hummus two vine leaves some pitta bread and half a plate full of chick peas I asked to have it replaced as I couldn't eat it she said no it's what I ordered and I should of looked at the menu properly !

Wonderful ambience, ocean view. But my samosas were a soggy, super-hot gluey yellow mass. They took 10 minutes to stop steaming They’d been vigorously nuked (I asked) and they said, “yes yes we put in the microwave…”

Great place, great vibe, we stopped for a cuppa and had already eaten. Wish we hadn't the food looked and smelt fantastic! Packed and popular with the locals.

Friendly staff, excellent portion sizes. Piping hot food. I would recommend the veggie biryani 10/10 and the veggie samosas were also nice. Very busy during the daytime, but a great place to be located on the seafront.

What a lovely place - I had a Kassa special chicken panini and the chicken was the best I have ever tasted in any restaurant 😋 The staff were friendly and helpful, and it's a place I would happily go to either with others or on my own. Oh, and the homemade lemonade was second to none!

Our go-to place in St Leonards on Sea, right on the sea front. Delicious Persian food with a good range of vegan and vegetarian options. Not costly, prices in photo from February 2023. Pictures show the veg. Combination and the veg. biryani (spicy, but you can request it to be mild). Generous portions.

Best customer service ever Love to BAKHAN, full of smile

First time visitor and boy, we will be back. Start off by saying the coffee (and the milk art) was first rate, and the hummus was the best we have had in a long while. Proper knowledge of flavours and spices in the food. But what I liked the most was the staff. They took time to be pleasant and happy, chatting to regulars and new customers alike. They are truly building their business one happy customer at a time.

Was with an acquaintance of mine and we ordered one cappuccino and one peppermint tea and we both liked our drinks.

Stopped here while I waited for my motorbike to be serviced, the food is fantastic the cooks really know how to elevate a dish to be unique and really tasty. Great options for vegetarians and vegans too. Highly reccomend. 👍

Well this was a surprise for somewhere that looks pretty ordinary. I must have had the best tasty scrambled egg on toast that I have ever enjoyed because it had half an avocado and a comprehensive selection of salad plants and stuff with wholemeal toast. The glass of fresh (bottled) orange juice could have been a little bigger but I will definitely be back for what was an inexpensive quality meal.

Overall we had a great experience, the ambiance was good, lovely staff and it was a nice mediterranean treat. The only suggestion is to clean the cutlery more carefully. Otherwise it's a great cafe.
