Karpaty Bakery & Patisserie, Barnsley in Barnsley

I absolutely love everything about Passion. The restaurant is small and cosy. We visited for Sunday lunch and had 9 adults and 2 children one of whom is a very fussy eater, nothing was too much effort for the staff they are exceptional! The food menu is small but perfectly formed and everything is delicious. The price for the meal was totally worth every penny if not more. I have been here for date night as well and the experience was just as great as it always it. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Barnsley as it's unique and fantastic. I advise you book in advance as it's only a small place.

Horrendous. Saw the place across from the theatre we were visiting so thought it would be quick and good value. How wrong could we have been! The place was horrific. We were advised of a 30 minute wait when we checked in which would have been fine. After 50 minutes I went to check where our food was and was told it would be another 15 minutes. There must have been a long wait for the microwave - our food actually came out just over an hour after we ordered it. My curry was the consistency of soup - I’d have been better off with a spoon than a fork - utterly crap

I have eaten both inside the restaurant and now takeaway . The quality is the same. I ordered Lamb sheikh & pitta bread with garlic sauce and fresh salad and the ingredients were top quality and fresh. I got a potion of curly fries too. The potion size was large. I got a strawberry cheesecake too again good quality and larger than normal size which made it good value.
