Glad to be back in my absolute favourite and the best restaurant in Camden well- London tbh! Visited in the week after lockdown ended had my favourite kleftico the meat just falls off the bone and melts in the mouth delicious! Then went again for my Sunday roast - had the lamb - best Sunday roast out there and I’ve tested a few! Staff are the friendliest nicest team it’s like visiting friends they treat us so special like queens! will be back there this Sunday for my roast recommend this place to everyone - you will not leave disappointed

What a great lunch. Didn’t have a booking and desperate for lunch. Our welcome was wonderful, charming and funny without being over the top. A giggle whilst the waiter desperately tried to get the patio heater to work. The food was brilliant. Extra starters on the house but more to the point the quality was great. A huge plus was that we were asked when we wanted our main, rather than being pushed to move on, and we needed a break after our starters. Stifado was melting and the chicken was crisp outside and tender within. The service was immaculate, caring and friendly without being pushy and we lingered to enjoy our wine. Don’t hit Camden that often but plan to go back next time. A brilliant example of hospitality at its best.

Karavas is the absolute best restaurant in Camden. The food is fantastic with the Cypriot style Greek cuisine and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night, a solo meal, or an evening with friends. My true favorite part is the waiting staff! Dionysus and George are so lovely, and they go above and beyond to make sure our dining experience is excellent.

3 star for the food and an extra star for their service.I think it was because we were the first group to eat there that afternoon and the grill and oven might not be preheated very well, the meat we had was dry and the pork was slightly pink inside (not a problem for us though).As for the portions of their food, yes, their portions were big compared with restaurants serving other cuisines. But the portion was relatively small compared with other Greek style restaurants nearby (not an ad here).

Stunning interior with a superb menu, by far the best restaurant in Camden. The team are amazing and cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful night. We will certainly be back :)

We had actually intended visiting a different restaurant but on a busy Friday evening we were pleased to get a table here. And we’d return. First time in London, after few days of wondering around city, we have come across this little Greek place. Tiny tables, very cozy atmosphere and great traditional Greek food. We had some fish, and traditional kebab which is from other universe comparing those street variants. All topped with friendly staff and great vine.

Great small Greek style restaurant just outside the hustle and bustle of Camden Market , The menu was varied but we chose from the special lunchtime menu , two courses for £8.50. This too gave us lots of choice .Everyone's food was delicious and the staff were very polite and attentive. The food came quickly but there was no rush to eat up quickly . The toilets were also extremely clean .

Myself and a friend enjoyed Saturday lunch here this weekend. The waiter was friendly and attentive. A starter and main was £13.50 which I believe is good value considering the quality of the food and atmosphere in the restaurant.

Went here on a Saturday night for dinner whilst on a weekend in London. We booked as it's only small but they will always accommodate you. The food was traditionally Greek and the prices are very reasonable especially for London. Everything is cooked to order and the portion sizes are just right. I had the sheftalia and my partner had the mixed kebab. Both were amazing along with the Greek wine. We both had a coffee to follow finish and the total was £60! A great price for London will definitely return next time we're down.

Rang the restaurant at 8pm looking for a booking for 4 in 30 minutes time and thankfully we were booked in.

Esta tarde llevamos a nuestros hijos a probar la comida griega por primera vez y definitivamente fue un éxito. ¡Todos compartimos el meze de carne, que estaba delicioso y mi hijo dijo que "no sabía que la comida griega sabría tan bien"! También dijo que el arroz era el mejor que había probado en su vida. El personal fue muy atento durante toda la comida y mi esposo y yo encontramos una experiencia muy relajante, a pesar de tener tres niños pequeños con nosotros.

Trusted the previous reviews to find a small Greek tavern with v good service, big portions and reasonable prices. We had the hot and cold meze starters and except for the beans the humus and taramosalata especially were pretty good. For mains the moussaka was a huge portions, lovely but lacked a bit more of aubergine. The nemea wine was excellent !

I had high hopes from this place from the reviews which overall were very good but I wasn't so impressed, food was average nothing exceptional. Vegetarian Options, I think as it was the Easter Holidays the restaurant was busy & loud but that can't be helped.

£7.50 for 2 courses in a Camden Town Greek restaurant? Believe it! And not small portions, either. Started with taramasalata with pita bread, followed by mixed souvlaki skewers. With hefty portion of chips and salad ( not to mention the complementary potato dish that came with the starter) I was stuffed. Washed it down with a decent £4 glass of house wine and I went away very happy!

I went as a large group and our experience was very pleasant. The restaurant itself is small yet cosy. The waiter who served us was very friendly and took our orders quickly. We didn't have to wait long at all for drinks and food to be served. We all ordered the Kleftiko and it was delicious - incredibly tender and falls right off the bone. Would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Comí aquí esta noche. La última vez que fui a cenar, sucedió lo mismo. El horario de apertura es de 12 pm a 12 am, llegó a las 9. El plato principal y el plato principal tenían 50 entradas, a las 11 de la noche, pedimos café, pero nos dijeron que la máquina se había apagado, que nos trajeron la cuenta sin pedirla y que la mitad de las luces estaban apagadas. El personal se sentó con sus abrigos puestos, por supuesto que nos sentimos obligados a irnos. El servicio de la hora del almuerzo no puede fallar, pero no volveremos para la cena.

Pedí comida aquí hoy por primera vez y fue excelente.

Disfrutamos de una comida de 2 platos de su menú especial temprano en la noche. El personal era muy amable y servicial, la comida excelente y se servía con pequeñas adiciones como aperitivos que disfrutamos con una botella de vino a un precio razonable. También apreciamos el gesto de un café griego servido en la casa después. El ambiente relajado en el restaurante dio lugar a conversaciones amistosas con otros comensales.
