Karaam Lebanese Restaurant in Ealing

I recently revisited Al-Dar Lebanese Restaurant with my family, and once again, we were highly impressed by the exceptional service. From start to finish, the staff ensured we felt very welcomed and cared for. The manager even took the time to personally check on us, which was a nice touch. As for the food, it was nothing short of scrumptious. Each dish was bursting with flavour, and the portions were generous, offering great value for money. Overall, Al-Dar continues to impress us with its outstanding service and delicious cuisine. I would highly recommended this restaurant to everyone.

My husband and I came here for dinner and the food was amazing, we ordered the fatteh with meat, the lamb shank and the baby charcoal chicken. Portions are very generous, service is impeccable even on a busy night we had many servers always ready to help especially Mohammad he managed the floor very well.

I can’t rate this place highly enough! The food was fresh, piping hot and delicious. The portions were generous. We got the Kouzi (slow cooked Lamb shank with rice and salad) and the Farruj Mussahab (charcoal chicken with chips and salad). Special mentions to Mohammad, who (along with the other wait staff) made our experience one to remember. I’ll be coming back time and time again.

We both had a chicken shawarma wrap and frozen blueberry, frozen raspberry shisha. Outside seating was warm, food was delicious alhumdullilah

Very poor service!! Date of visit 9th March 2024 There are many restaurants to try in Edware Road London, due to another restaurant being very busy and long wait, we chose as a family to eat here. Walked in restaurant was not busy, waiters looked uninterested and bored, but we decided to eat here and requested we wanted to eat in and were sat down. So why the negative review? Service was really poor the waiters were more interested in standing around than providing good service in a non busy time, we reluctantly when leaving paid the service charge on the bill. More of a insult, every other table when asking for the bill received complimentary small plate of Baklava sweets, they were english people, we even with 2 kids got offered nothing being of asian origin!. Will not be back, will spend our cash on restaurants who appriciate their customers and want them to return.

Five stars you deserve. The right place to eat Lebanese. Nice environment, excellent prices, we paid £20 each for large dishes, generous portions and excellent food, both meat and vegetarian. Fast service. And the tip is included; to return

One guy was really rude when I asked why the salt shaker had rice in it. He got all defensive. Also they had a take away box to take the left over food home but the lid wouldn’t close. And he also got defensive over it. Poor service from him. Otherwise food was 7/10. And the other staff was nice.

Last night I took a group of over 30 people to Al Dar. We had more than enough space and the planning in advance with Souhail was all done in a very friendly way. The food was excellent. Getting hot, high quality food out to a large group like this, all at the same time is a challenge for most restaurants. Al Dar passed with flying colours and the price was very reasonable too. We couldn’t have been made more welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

We went in here as family on our visit to Winter Wonderland.. We all loved the food, service and the atmosphere. This restaurant was very neat and tidy, they have plenty of mouthwatering dishes, very respectful staff who offer high standard service. Happy to recommend this place to anyone who loves trying Lebanese dishes..

Just charred meats and smoke everywhere, food lacked flavour, could really only taste the char from the burnt bits (burnt everywhere). 3 is generous because staff were kind, food could do with some flavour. We ordered platters.

We really enjoyed the experience in Al-Dar restaurant. Especially the shisha service outside. Naser and saif were very nice and served us very well. I recommend you visiting this shisha resturant

The food was superb. Amazing. We decided to walk in with the kids after visiting Winter wonderland for the day, and it was such a treat. The kids absolutely loved it. We were a big group and they accommodated us quite well

It was so much smoke inside , very loud music, very crowded and shisha smell was the worst thing as you feel like vomit there when you entre. The food presentation was OK. the taste was quite bland .

Low quality food, impolite customer service, The food was awful, smelling burnt animal fat. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In my opinion they deserve zero star.

Amazing food! Mouthwatering, soul revitalising. The shakes are a must-have! Im vegetarian, and there were plenty of tasteful options to choose from. I must also say that their employees are always readily available to assist.

We ordered chicken shawarma and fish plate and we also had moroccan tea. Over all it was good.

It’s really nice to visit this restaurant. We been there many times since last few years. The food is really tasty and fresh. Atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. Now portion sizes are reduced because of the inflation.

Went for a Dinner here with few my friends, Ordered Jambo Platters, with some starters. It was empty, Starters are nice, however the Jambo platters (£70) are tested below avarage quality, some of them were undercooked, some of them had some smell. And the service, even though, we were the only customers, we had to keep call them and wait for them to turn up.. They should really try some other Turkish/ Lebanese food so they can really understand their standard.. And about the services, a Sneer attitude really nkt helping anyone.. Improve this, London is a place of Multiculture, embrace that..

Had dinner with friends. We were a large group ifv around 10 people but the staff managed well. Food was tasty We ordered mix of starters including falafel and hummus followed by a variety of mixed grills.

I come here everyday, because the staff is extremely friendly, Nasr and Akram make the atmosphere very friendly and the shisha is very good

Cené en el Karaam el sábado pasado. . . Fue un poco de una experiencia extraña. En primer lugar intentamos tomar dos platos del menú, pero nos dijeron que habían dejado de vender ellos hace un año (¿por qué no actualizar el menú)?

Hice un pedido de ese lugar y se supone que estará listo para recoger en 20 minutos, sin embargo, en vez tardaron 45. Entonces la comida que nos dieron era muy fría, no tengo ni idea de lo que estaban haciendo para tan largo tiempo si que nos tienen comida fría después de todo. .

Hemos tenido la entrega por Deliveroo dos veces desde aquí y no allí. La comida es aceptable, pero no es genial, pero el tamaño de las porciones es ridículamente pequeño y la comida no estaba caliente lo suficiente. Ordenados y pagado extra ajo y chili, salsas y tahini cada pot tenía sobre una cucharadita de salsa y estaba sobre una quinta parte completa. Cantidad de otros entrantes y platos principales también pobres.

La oferta era con una copa de vino cada uno, pero ellos estaban felices para nosotros tener una gran jarra de té de menta libanesa para compartir.

Solemos ir a su hermana Restaurante por la carretera, en Ealing Common y siempre muy bueno. La comida, el servicio y el ambiente todo bien en mi opinión. Por desgracia, no es el mismo en este establecimiento. La pena libanesa tratando una vez pero no volver a él. Deco bien. Servicio aceptable. Estuvimos allí en la noche de San Valentín.

Mi madre y yo celebramos nuestros cumpleaños allí. Tuve un arranque lleno De habas (madames en ajo y aceite de oliva) con pan pitta y luego vegetariana moussaka y arroz. Mi madre tenía estofado de cordero con patatas fritas. Ambos disfrutamos de nuestra comida y el servicio era bueno. Todavía sirven zumo de naranja recién exprimido.

Servicio fue estupendo. El personal era muy servicial y amable. Tuvimos un almuerzo especial para la boda de amigos cercanos.

Lovely Lebanese restaurant in Ealing Brodway, the food was very good and abundant,fine service and fare prices.

This place has been around for years and to me is a credit to the area of Ealing which has been saturated with many eateries. The staff and owner amongst all appear genuine and passionate about their restaurant and heritage. We felt welcomed from the start and to me first impressions always count.Located slightly off The Broadway it stands in a more quainter bit of the main road where its not hard to find parking to the rear on Mattock Lane.The food that we were recommended was excellent and very tasty. I was interested in the charming Lebanese Red Wine on display which I had never tasted before, in which the owner sampled me some and duly we took a bottle of.Recommended without hesitation if you wish to treat your loved ones to a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Ealing e la sera rientrando da Londra abbiamo mangiato al Karaam due sere e tutte e due le volte siamo stati particolarmente colpiti dalla qualità del cibo e dalla cortesia del personale. Veramente consigliato

Visited last week with my husband. Was quiet but the server, Niza, was attentive and made us feel welcome. We had a Groupon for mezze. The food was delicious and a great selection. We had a combination of veggie and meat dishes. My favourite was the lovely homemade falafel and the meat pastries. We had a glass of wine included and the moved onto Lebanese beer which was delicious. After the meal, we had baklava and Niza gave us fresh mint tea, something which I'd never had before but will definitely have again in the future. We will definitely visit again in the New Year.

Deliveroo order - hard to pinpoint which was worse, rider or food quality. Bag and containers covered in leaking yoghurt, food somewhat under par, cold and generally little care taken by restaurant and rider.

This is honestly the best Lebanese food in London. Everything from the mezze, mains and desserts are excellent. Great service and prices too! Coming from a Lebanese background we have been to Lebanon many times and this is the only restaurant in London which is as good as those restaurants and actually even better than some of them. Will definitely be visiting frequently.

Had such a lovely and very fresh small mezze meals(remember the garlic sauce mmmmmm). Quick and good service. Freshly squeezed orange juice which surely surprised me very positively. Surely will recommend this place

I had a birthday dinner , but this is the first and last time my visit to Karaam restaurant. Kitchen sets and plates was very dirty, food waiting a very long time.

Visited here on a weekday for the meze and very pleased to receive a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes,very tasty and of a generous portion. House wine was also drinkable. Service pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended for a big group as there were a variety of different mezes to try on the menu.

I go here every Sunday with friends.this is the best lebenese restaurant in Ealing.the food comes out hot.very well presented.ive never tried the meat dishes but my friends tell me it's exceptional.as Usual I order my veg dish and have never been disappointed.i just love the halloumi.overall its excellent value for money.staff are good.ambience could be better.just for the food I give it 5 stars.

Not sure why I chose the title but it sounded good at the time. Well I was in and out as I needed a quick lunch. I had heard about this place so I thought why not! Had a chicken kebab wrap, there is name for this being that it is Lebanese cuisine but I can't remember. Price was great at just under £4 they have a meal deal think with chips and a drink that comes in at around £5. As I'm watching my waist line I passed on the fizzy pop and chips. Portion size was just right, filled me up. It will surely become a place I recommend to my office pals and will be visiting once in a while.

Had a fantastic take away a few weeks back , but unfortunately when we recently went to have a sit in meal the service was pretty disappointing . Would definitely have another take away from here but wouldn't rush back for the "ambience" of the restaurant

Karaam offers great food in west London, I usually order mixed grill which is always consistent and high quality. The starters are also very tasty and so many to chose from - suggest sojok, kalaj, arayes, mtabal, homous kawarma. The owner is a lovely gentleman and very hospitable. Great example of Lebanese hospitality and food.

Enjoyed our meal on a Saturday night in September 2016. Ordered 8 meze and was positively surprised. Houmous was excellent. So was the lamb and the spiced potatoe wedges. Enjoyed the evening with a glass of red wine. Not familiar with Lebanese food but did like it a lot. Will definitely visit again.

Very clean, friendly staff, tasty food. Been here a couple of times and I would recommend any of their Shawarma wraps. Could be a nice place to have a birthday party

What can i say??? Everything we had was yummy.. Chicken liver is a must.. Never had chicken liver before and even my fussy teenagers loved it.. Will definitely recommend this place..

I have not been to this place but always ordered food for home delivery.Reason being I found this place small when had look on the pics.So can only rate about the food and I can say I was not at all disappointed with food.Food was very delicious and they have good portion as well. All items we ordered were great and were delivered hot which was good thing. Hope to visit one day to see the ambience.

Visited on Good Friday. Food was fine, but customer service is lacking. No ice or glass offered with drink, nor do staff ask if the meal is ok. Felt like since i wasn't a regular there was no interest. Wouldn't go back.

Nice food and good service but it was so noisy. Tiled floor, stone walls and tiled ceiling and a resturant full of noisy girls was not a good mix and ruined our night. Spoke to the staff about it who assured us it was very unusual. Will definitely try again as the food was very good but if it's as noisy next time, we may give it a miss going forward.

We went on a whim instead of our usual at Abu Zaad! Honestly I was disgusted by their service:- rude staff- no attention, we had to get up to ask for things- then they have the audacity to charge you a service charge - disgusting cold food- no ice! How can a restaurant have no ice- overpricedIt's a horrible place, don't waste your time or money here. It should be closed, I find it tough to understand how people like this place.

The waiter Niza was very friendly while being informative about the menu, I had a vegetarian meal there was plenty of it and it was good value for money.

I went to this restaurant a lot of a child, so I returned there 7 years later and I can honestly nostalgia did not play a role and the food was fantastic. Big portions, grilled baby chicken is succulent and juicy, their rice and chips are tasty and best garlic sauce in London. It's a much cheaper alternate to Maroush with similar standard of food. Service was also great by Sanae, was attentive but not overwhelming. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone in the mood for Lebanese.

They could not bring the starters together. One came with our main meal. They mixed up our main meal and coffee was cold. And this is when they had only two tables to serve.

I've been on 16/1/16, the food was average, services were poor, shop were too could no heating, toilets were freezing cold , food timing services were poor, we got the hot starter when the main where on the table !! the take away delivery services were using the main shop door in and out every now and then !! over all there were lack of hospitality and the food where too pricy for that standard, We where all disapointed .

I absolutely love Lebanese food and am blessed to work near central where there are loads of good ones. Having a craving for Lebanese food during the weekend I went here hoping for something similar. While it was still good it doesn't compare to some of the food I've eaten in central.

This is the second time we have visited, mainly as it is an included eatery as part of the tastecard.The service is always friendly, it is never busy (so you can grab a table without reservation) and the food comes out in a good time so if you're hungry - its a good place.The main meals are plentiful and the last time we had a selection of starters and shared a main. This time, two mains which had us full.Will be visiting again :)

We visited this restaurant on Wed 23 Dec at 7 pm. We were the only people there. The food was lovely and I must admit the portions were very generous. I had little lamb parcels for starters which were delicious. My husband had chicken livers. I don't like liver but this was absolutely delicious. I had grilled chicken for my main and my husband had a mixed grill dish. The guy that served us was very helpful and friendly. I would go again as the food was really good. Maybe in another day or a bit later.

I came here last Friday evening as a sole diner. They got me a seat right away next to some pleasant guys having a good night out and with whom I chatted.The atmosphere was great. I've lived in the Middle East and now live in N Africa so I love the Middle Eastern music that was being played. There was even a belly dancer who was encouraging customers to get up and dance.However, the food was very patchy, really not up to standard. The fish dish I had as a starter was OK but nothing special. However, the main was a horror, chicken shawarma and rice. It was stone cold and I told the waiter I didn't want it. In addition the chicken that I had tasted was really dry and bland. The plate was taken away, but a minute later presented again to me with a flourish. I had to tell the waiter that the dish was sub-standard and that I refused to eat a main meal that had simply been microwaved. I asked to see the menu again and chose a mixed grill instead. This was acceptable. I was not billed for the rejected meal, which is how it should be.I do understand that in the run-up to Xmas in a full restaurant that there can be hiccups on occasion, but to serve a completely cold meal is unacceptable - these are professionals after all! In addition, as I mentioned above, the chicken was simply ghastly.I'm not sure I would come back. After this meal, I am sure that better options exist elsewhere.

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now and it never fails to deliver. Service is friendly, the food is tasty and I really can't say enough lovely things about it. Have dined there with friends and by myself and staff are always willing to accommodate the likes and dislikes of their diners ensuring that you enjoy your experience every time! Highly recommended.
