Visited Saturday eve 8pm - quite busy but staff very accommodating and attentive. Food very tasty - authentic. Great for a date night or catch up with palls. Didn’t manage to take pictures of all the dishes as they were too tasty! YUM!

La Rueda is a nice cosy restaurant with efficient staff and great food. There’s a great variety of tapas with an equal number of vegetarian, meat, and seafood options. The paellas are delicious and well presented although on the slightly pricey side. Overall, highly recommended.

Accommodating of my dietary needs as I cannot eat dairy. It was a great experience and the food is very tasty. My friend and I had a nice time.

I could here the staff working in the small kitchen very noisy. The owner or manager was talking very very loud, arguing on the phone , i had to hang up my phone. I order a tortilla who was smaller the a desert. The wine was good

Good food and atmosphere. After sharing some tapas dishes, we were 4 and ordered paella for 2 persons which was just right amount for us.

The food was average here. We ordered croqueta which was with ham and delicious. The fried calamari was chewy which was surprising. The tomato and onion salad had such spicy onions that even though I love onions I struggled to eat them. The prawns with chilli and garlic was great. Service decent and very nice ambiance

La Rueda is two rooms with a small kitchen. The tapas is varied and often flavourful. We visited on a Saturday at 8pm. It was very busy. The sangria lacked punch, and felt quite watery. The patas bravas arrived first and was great - punch garlic aoli, well prepped potato’s, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. The meatballs came next and were forgettable - bland and in a fresh but very basic sauce. The tomato bread was heavy on the bread and low on the tomato. Special mention to the carnitas taco, spicy and with a great mix of flavours, and the shrimps in garlic which were fresh and perfectly cooked. We split a Bavarian cheesecake after which was good. By 9:30 the restaurant was empty save for us and another couple. We were a bit forgotten about, which was a shame. The bill was very reasonable and nothing we ate was bad, but very little of it stood out. The end takeaway is that La Rueda is a good, simple tapas place.

Excellent food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed Prawns pil pil, Sardines. Very drinkable rose. Definitely go again and strongly recommended.

We returned to this restaurant today with a party of 4. We had an early booking and we stayed 3 hours eating and drinking. At no time were we rushed. The staff were excellent , friendly and helpful. The food of course was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend high enough. This restaurant is a gem. We will be back again for sure.

As a Spanish person, the tapas I had there were all disgusting. Service is also poor.

Food is very solid, better than Spanish food in Spain 80% of the time. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff if OK, not great, there was a guy getting us the bill that clearly didn't want to be there. He also couldn't do math when we split the bill and he got annoyed at us - a minor incident

Food was nothing special. I really enjoyed patatas bravas but that’s pretty much about it. When food was brought to the table waiter did not mention names of the dishes therefore it was a bit of guessing game.

We were disappointed. The chorizo in sauce was inedible - tasted like it had been cooking for days and definitely tasted strange of off meat; I don't ever leave food but we couldn't eat it. All other dishes average - two of the four halloumi rolls were fridge cold inside and also, the chicken thighs, sorry but the ones in nandos are 10 times better, which is saying something. Sorry, but not for us.

Fantastic TAPAS with an affordable price :D We love dine here at least twice a month! I recommend if you are around.

I have to give this 4 stars only due to a few reasons. I visited for the first time back in march and declared it to be the best tapas I have ever had namely the octopus dish and patatas bravas. I returned a couple of days ago to treat and friend firstly we had a booking but they seemed surprised and sat us in the back area alone. We ordered an octopus dish each amongst a number of other items. When the dishes came out - very quickly I was surprised that the octopus dish was served completely differently to how I had it only a few months ago. I ate it and it was ok but I believe the portion of octopus was a lot less (it was cut up into small pieces on my this visit and previously whole tails) and it was missing the green marinate which really set off the dish. Also served with different and less potato (See pictures). I did mention this to the two waiters but neither seemed to care. I could also hear one of the waiters/manager making demands to the chef constantly repeating stuff like ‘they asked for sauce on the side this isn’t on the side’ while I understand this needs to be done - I was seated at my table quite a distance away and don’t expect to hear this. It is good food but having spent over £100 on dinner for two this visit did not entice me to return again.

Food is good. Wine is good. Staff is friendly but not very prompt. The sangria is 90% juice - don’t waste your money on that. There is a general lack of cleanliness, especially based on the customer loos. I think a health inspection wouldn’t fare well.

Went in with my friend on 20th May 2023 for lunch. The place we sat was quite confined when table next to us became available we asked to move which the water serving us was ok and considerate . But the other man who was on the bar side not sure if it was the boss came and spoke quite rude words in Spanish I don't he realised I could understand him . He went on and on about it After we had finished eating we did let them know that we understood what he had said to let him know The food was good the waiter with long hair polite. But the guy that seemed like the manager very rude We would not be returning back no recommending anyone to go

Excellent service from the waitress. The tapas and paella was fantastic. The pork cheeks and potatas bravas were highlights.

I give the restaurant 5 stars for seafood paella. It was about £20 per person (minimum of 2 people) and took 30 mins to prepare. The paella was tasty and worth the wait. We polished off the whole dish easily. I would only suggest that the waiter doesn’t remove the plates or food until all customers at the table finish eating. I was still eating when he asked to clear my plate. That was very off putting. I will go again to try out the tapas next time.

The food here is always delicious, I've never had a complaint. It's just a shame that the service is always so bad in my experience. I never get greeted at the door, the servers never smile, and they're very unhelpful. I guess they have favourite customers though because I've seen them pull all the stops out for other people. P.s, despite still being listed on the app, they DON'T accept Tastecard.

Unfriendly welcome, drinks banged down on the table. Asked for a bit of guidance which wasn't forth coming. But later staff were helpful to other diners who came in. Altogether felt really uncomfortable. Wouldn't go again even though the halloumi rolls were divine.

Delicious tapas in a quiet and unassuming little restaurant.

We liked this place and have previously enjoyed a few nice meals here. Sadly this time the chicken was badly undercooked. I didn't realise until I had eaten some and unfortunately was ill for over 24 hours after. Sadly we wont be back.

Most awful customer service. The guy is neurotic and never smiles. Tapas are microwaved. Never again.

First time trying this place and was better than expected. Great food(hats off to the chef), nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! Definitley will be returning in the future!

Lovely place to eat! The artichoke with blue cheese and walnut or pork cheek were absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff, efficient and not intrusive. A wonderful find.

The food here was divine, the service was quick and the waiters were helpful. The sangria is a must as well as the croquettes. We booked a table and had to wait about 15 mins for it to become free from the previous party but once inside I could see why you don't want to leave!

Fantastic tapas! The restaurant is always busy and has a great atmosphere. All the food was excellent, though the octopus and the patatas bravas were particular favourites! Sangria was lovely although definitely on the weaker side. The young lady who served us was very professional and friendly. Will definitely be back to try the Paella!

La Rueda is lovely for friends and family. The staff is very warm and welcoming, always ready to serve you. The food is amazing. Tony especially is so kind and friendly and makes the best margaritas I’ve ever had. My friends and I frequently come here just for the margaritas and service from Tony!

Having a light dinner with some little dishes. Quite like the little deco and details at the restaurant. When going to Spain, Sangria was a must order item for every meal. And this one was really nice with nice balance of wine and fruit. Nice Spanish food. The pork cheek was extraordinary good! It was soft and tender, the flavour was perfect with fries on top. As always the Padron was nicely cooked with a prefect touch of seasoning. The burnt cheesecake was the only tiny imperfect of the dinner. Not quite like the texture as it is in Spain. It was a little bit too light as a Japanese-style cheesecake and lack of vanilla flavour. The almond cake and the pistachio ice-cream was good tho.

Amazing food, first visited 1 1/2 years ago and that was divine, and a second trip definitely cemented that this is an amazing tapas restaurant! We had - olives, tortilla, potatas bravas (must get, alioli is to die for), pork cheeks (my fave dish), chorizo, black tempura cuttlefish (which was an interesting dish and glad we tried and would 100% have again), chicken thighs (mums favourite), washed down with a litre of sangria! If you're in the area, this is a must try!

Good food, kind staff, but worst manager ever seen in Ealing Broadway. We were two families having dinner, which were shocked when the manager suggested to "shut up" the baby as soon as started to cry because it was a "nuisance" for the clients.

Not a good experience. The staff is nice, but that's all. The food is not great. Very small portions, not real tapas. There were 25 people having dinner in a small room, and in there, we were given a tiny table for 5 people, even when we had booked in advance. On top of all that, my son found a hair in his dessert and couldn't eat it. The manager's answer was that he found it very strange, and they charged us for the dessert. Unbelievable. Of course, never again.

Unfriendly service from the get go. The waiter was behind the counter, he didn't even acknowledge us entering and standing around for a minute or so. Even when he did, he didn't care too much. Barely said anything. It felt like we should feel thankful for being served. The restaurant was practically empty yet it took a while to get our drinks and food. One of the worst, if not the worst Spanish restaurant I've been to in London.

We got charged way way way more than what we were supposed to. The menu is very misleading and contradictory when it comes to prices. The food is good and the people who work there are nice. I had to call the manager to understand why we paid such a ridiculous price for 2 paellas and a creme brulé. £82.50 was the total. 35 pounds per dish, RIDICULOUS! The manager was adamant when I explained to him that there was a mistake in the bill. When I asked him to look at the prices on the menu, he couldn't really give us a logical explanation on why we had to pay such a ridiculous price. He then reduced the price a little bit, but it still wasn't close enough to what we were supposed to pay. On my way out, I encouraged the manager to look at the manu as the paellas section shows prices for a single person even though each plate of paella is always charged for two people, hence double the price. What is the point of putting prices for a single person if each plate costs twice as much all the time? I am attaching their menu for others to see and understand. Would I recommend this place for the food? YES. Would I recommend this place for convenience and honesty? Absolutely NO, unless you are willing to pay for gouging prices that are not on the menu. --------- Attention! Each patella is twice as much the price shown on the menu as the individual portion doesn't exist at all. For instance, the De Pescado is 17.5 x 2= 35. The individual paella where a person pays 17.50 doesn't exist as the menu says in brackets (minimum 2 people). In my opinion you either put £35 next to the dish, and then in bracket you state "portion for two people", or you put £17.50 and in bracket next to it you state "portion for 1 person" and you charge that without doubling it in the final bill. By the way, each portion was for more than one person but definitely less than 2 people. Good food and gouging prices.

It was our first and last time in this place! We spent nearly 500f and we were told to leave (not in the nice way, literally to get the fu*k out) only because the owner didn’t like the fact that my friend was complementing a waitress…. They must sleep together, he was crazy upset and jealous!!! I thought it was a joke but nahh he was deadly serious. Would never come back there, can’t recommend this place at all….. don’t go there, there is 100 way better places in London with normal management. Food wasn’t great anyway, really sorry we had to experience this….

A group of us ate here for an office night out. I had been here before and raved about the place. The food was great as usual, tasty tapas dishes and paella, the waitress was lovely but unfortunately the man is charge was really rude and grumpy!! Making us feel very awkward , wondering what we had done that he felt he had to slam plates and glasses on our table and stand angrily staring at our table from behind the bar. He made us feel most unwelcome. Everyone agreed they would return for the food if we knew when it was his day off!!

We are here for lunch two days ago and find the Tapas choices as well as the paella vercemelli as shown, very tasty. Services were good too.

I am a regular customer, at least twice a month. The last time I visit was 23/11/2022, I had business dinner with my staff but the service wasn’t great , the service was slow and kept sending us wrong dishes.

Delicious and generous sized dishes, got quite loud and lively with regulars even on a weekday lunchtime.

We are really fed up! This place has been open about a decade and we had missed it!! That is bad, because this place is great. Patas Bravas is wonderful, yes it is a staple of Tapas restaurants, but this place does it so well. The halloumi is just brilliant as well, as are the duck, lamb and chicken. The only slightly disappointing food was the cauliflower, but this didn't change our view in any manner or form. Go here, it is great

The food here is amazing and it offers a great selection. It’s our 2nd time and we will be back. If we had one criticism it would be the front of house staff who could be more attentive and welcoming. We ordered drinks on arrival but had to chase as waitress was busy chatting to a colleague and our plates weren’t cleared from the table and left longer than needed in front of us. Nevertheless we will be back as the food is great!

The front of staff was horrible. He made my friend wait outside and refused to seat her denying we had a booking. She When I arrived he said we called and said we would be late, so had no table. This was a lie. So when I told him he was lying he said there was a table and started making some excuse of us waiting until the entire party of people eating showed up. When I got angry that he made up the lie about us calling, he said I was rude and started blabbering about needing to check who called. He then said I was rude. And obviously when you blatantly lie and get called out what do you expect people to be to you? Nice and respectful? I gathered they probably didn't register the booking in the first place or something. They could have easily de-escalated by apologising for their mistake, instead of blaming it incorrectly on a costumer. I am glad I didn't spend a penny in that place to reward that unprofessional waiter.

Very good food and affordable! The cava sangria was especially good. They were very busy but service was still excellent and fast. Great atmosphere and perfect for welcoming the weekend.

I was at this restaurant couple of times. For the first time food was really good but keeping me and my family over an hour to wait for Paella? And any of the staff member did not say a word as we have to wait so super long. But... We decided to give them another chance and it was worth it. Firstly we decided do not order Paella. Secondly Octopus dish was delicious. Also a Crockets.

Charming restaurant with great food and service.

Food was great, place felt like authentic Spanish cusine. Always busy so book early. One staff member told us off for not making a booking and doing a walk in which was odd.

Really lovely food here and good sized portions. We went on a Friday night and I'm glad we booked. There was a queue at the door at one stage. The tables are all very close together so not the most private but made up for it with food. Staff are busy but are attentive when you catch their eye. Sangria was also nice.

Not blown away. The squid ink overpowered the paella making it more of a chore than an enjoyable experience. The service was strange with the staff taking 20mins to speak to us after we sat down. Will unlikely head back.

My 1 star is based on service and we never actually tried the food! Walked in with the most unwelcoming gentleman. He even popped to the shop while me and my friend waited to be served as we tried to get a drink and the chef said we had to wait for waiter to come back. He came back and proceeds to still ignore us, yet prepare all the other dinner tables.. Bearing in mind we still haven't been asked for any drinks and our own table was not even made up. The place was empty too and we were the only 2 people in there. Dissapointed and didn't try the food we gave him 10 min and when that was up we left. Bad bad bad service.
