The food I ordered never arrived

completely ruined the drink was spilt all over the bag drenching everything

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Asked for tap water & they said no !! The first place I’ve seen denying TAP WATER in Scotland !!!! Also, asked us to leave while we were having the item which was already ordered. Wanted to take ice creams but stopped myself in getting them in this worst place ever. Never going back here again !! If anyone wants a good service, DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE THE WORST IN WHOLE SCOTLAND.

Obnoxious owner shamim. Overcharged two items, a spiced tea which was cancelled and a milk cake which they didn’t even have in stock! Proceeded to argue and explain WHY we were overcharged. The normal thing would be to apologise and refund not attempt to justify! Shamim husband was lovely and she wouldn’t even listen to him. Terrible service and management! Poor availability of products and very sweet karak chai not balanced.

Disappointing Service I recently visited Treats Edinburgh and was extremely disappointed with the service, especially from one of the male waiters. His attitude was rude and unprofessional, making the entire experience unpleasant. Instead of being welcoming, he seemed uninterested and even dismissive when taking our order. Good customer service is just as important as the food, and unfortunately, this place failed in that regard. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Food was not bad specially their lindt cookie dough was good but the service was so poor. A lady in yellow shirt (might be the owner) served us so rudely and the presentation of food was so poor. We went 20 mins before they close and i can understand at the end of the day all the staff left with low energy but if you’re allowing customers to sit and eat then you have to provide good service.

The food was mediocre, but the real issue was the awful management and supervision. I witnessed them pressuring customers to spend a minimum amount just to stay, even after they had already placed multiple orders. Their attitude was terrible rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer respect. I would never return. They have no regard for their patrons and operate with zero integrity.

Do not buy anything from here! The products they send are terrible compared to their prices. The amount of toppings on their pistachio and white chocolate waffles barely exceeds 20 grams. Also, when you order a waffle, they send one of the four pieces completely empty because, according to them, their brand name is written there, and it’s a directive from their head office. I have never heard such a ridiculous excuse in my life. However, I don’t blame the employee who spoke to me on the phone or the staff member who prepared my order incorrectly. Corporate companies like this exploit workers for minimal wages, and under these conditions, small mistakes are understandable. But considering the product I received after paying £22, I can confidently say that you could get something twice the size for half the price at a small business.

Ordered on uber eats. The food was a mess in the bags. Ice reams and milkshakes all over the place. The waffles didn’t taste nice.

Was really looking forward to this but the first order took around an hour to be delivered then got cancelled so tried again. The second attempt also took way too long and when it arrived it was cold and the “Nutella” from and banutella wasn’t even Nutella but cheap, tasteless chocolate spread. Avoid.

The flat white was nice not the best I've had, I feel as if the coffee had a slightly burnt aroma and taste. It's overly bitter and lacks balance. The aftertaste has a certain bitterness which lingers but decent for the price

Visited Treatz on the 14th October, on entrance, we asked if we could sit at a booth as 2/3 were empty, were told no as they were reserved, (no one came in to sit on them the entire time we were at the shop). We were then seater on some benches right by the door, very uncomfortable and cold. We then ordered three desserts, one of which didn’t arrive, it was only when we asked where the third dessert was that we were then told it had been put in the fridge for take away for some reason? It was the. Brought out to us, after the other two desserts had been eaten. We then went to pay our bill at the till so we could leave, the woman at the till told us our final bill, which didn’t sound right, it was then we realised a service fee had been added, I asked to have this removed as the service was not great at all, but was then told that this was not a service fee but was sit in fee? Never in my life have I been charged for sitting at a restaurant, why would a restaurant charge customers for sitting in their place of business? The fee was never once communicated to us, and we were not even told about it when going to pay, we only realised as when we added the cost of what we ordered it didn’t total the final bill and were only then told about it when queries. The cost of this was not an issue, it just felt like a shady business transaction and a cash grab from customers, had we been told about this beforehand it may have been a little different. The prices feel high enough as it is (around £10 for a cookie dough, to then add a forced “sit in” charge feels a bit ridiculous Quite disappointing as have visited this place before and the service was fine, we were actually allowed to sit in one of the notoriously reserved booths, but this time the service was not great at all. The only positive would be the younger gentleman who was helpful with choices from the menu. The staff need to really up the service game here and treat their customers a bit nicer.

The service and atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and the food never goes wrong - would always recommend!

Was in here few weeks ago and thought the service was really poor. Seemed very arrogant. Also witnessed them being moody with delivery drivers for no reason. Not a good look at all. Won't be going back and would advise others to go elsewhere.

Atmosphere I can't judge I've never been in, I have ordered food there a few times. It's very basic and their toasties are basically what I expected and enjoyed them. I decided to order highlander burgers which on just eat said it was "famous", I was sorely disappointed by what was presented, the cheese stuck all around the bottom half of the burger to the point I had to rip it off the box and not only that but the burger tasted like rustlers just microwaved to the point of cardboard texture and the haggis was extremely dry and i assume was a microwaved cheap breakfast haggis. I had to spit out my food and it is too late to get food from other places by walking distance. I understand that £5 is cheap but to call it famous and deliver it in such shoddy taste is just wrong. Will not be ordering here again even though the toastie options were alright, but because of this review with my name all over the place I don't particularly trust I'll be received well in future.

Ordered the cookie dough and was really good. Staff are really friendly and chatty. I am not from Edinburgh so this is always a nice treat when I come and visit.

Hai, I think almost good reviews for this shop is paid because the service provide by staff is really bad specifically the male staff .The quality of the food also very bad compared to other shops in Edinburgh.Moreover one delivery driver said that he had seen many dirty things here you are not changing the waffle even body hair falls on it

Every Friday, my daughter and I visit Treatz, it has become a cherished tradition for us. The owners are kind and always make us feel welcome. My daughter is only five years old, and this cafe is the perfect place to indulge in delicious desserts that are not too sweet. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy quality time together and create lasting family memories. Highly recommended!

I love deserts & I believe they are the best. I don’t know if it was only because I was too hungry, but everything was brutally delicious. It almost goes without saying, the atmosphere and the decor were so elegant. Best desert shop in the UK. 🇬🇧

This place is amazing! My family and I are from the US and saw the decor from outside, and decided to try it. The desserts were so good, as well as everything else. The owners and workers were super welcoming. We ended up liking it so much, we visited 3 different times. 100% recommend.

We visited Treatz Edinburgh yesterday and had an absolutely delightful experience. Even though we arrived just 15 minutes before their closing time due to traveling from a different place, the staff were incredibly welcoming and happy to serve us. We ordered a variety of desserts, and every single one was super delicious. The quality and presentation of the desserts were top-notch, and we were thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent and efficient, making our visit all the more pleasant. We were so pleased with the experience that we will surely visit Treatz again. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Waffle was half uncooked, And customer service was really bad and ignorant.

People in the shop were nice but at £5.50 for 2 scoops of ice cream I expect significantly better quality ice cream, really quite synthetic in flavour. Also, just a bug bear of mine. Provide the scoops in a bigger tub and present them side by side. I got mine on top of each other in a teeny tiny tub, nearly lost the top one walking down the street and the other flavour gets compromised by the top one melting.

The staff were not good their behaviour there are other better options in Dessert go for kaspa

I ordered via Uber Eats and the portion sizes were ridiculously small considering the price. Really disappointed. The ice cream was the same size as a match box and the cookie dough was no bigger than my hand and very thin

My name is Layaq, and I recently visited Treatz Edinburgh. It's an exceptionally beautiful restaurant that I have never experienced before in my life. The food was incredibly delicious, and I would rate the dessert a perfect 10 out of 10. Additionally, the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I was abit iffy if I should come here or not but I have no regrets the desert was great and tasted delicious. I ordered a gelato my self and had to order my self a biscoff cheesecake after trying my friends one 😭 There was one worker I believe his name was mati he had such a great energy and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Not only that but he also brought my food really fast. Highly recommend. I hope you're able to share this review with him hopefully.

Their interiors are really pretty. Pretty similar to treatz in London and Reading however they come to your table to take the order while in London we need to place the order at the counter. The size of the waffle was smaller here comparatively even though we ordered a large size. Quality had no difference.

Took our nieces here while on a day out in Edinburgh. A slightly tacky feel about the place - that they loved with all the pink and gold. Good menu selection though not very high quality.

Took a group of 9 girls to Treatz Lothian Road to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday. The staff were very accommodating and made it a special evening for my daughter and her friends. Highly recommended and we will be back!

I didn’t kid that it was late as it is a Friday night but the person on the phone was very rude and when I called to confirm my order she said that it’s already been prepared before she even asked what I ordered then when I asked what that order was and told her that wasn’t mines she wasn’t bejng cooperative and soon hung up whilst I was still speaking

Beautiful interior! The food was immaculate no complaints, would definitely go again. The service was also great, everyone we encountered was polite, respectful and very smiley. Overall a fab experience.

I am going out of my way to leave a 5 star review because I had such a good experience and meal. I let the staff know that I had a peanut allergy and they took the time to clean every single surface they could find in the kitchen that could be contaminated by peanuts. Then my meal was absolutely outstanding, and the atmosphere in the shop is clean and pleasant.

I paid for my daughter and 8 of her friends to go a few days after her 13th birthday, I had booked it so informed the venue that it was a birthday treat. The girls really enjoyed themselves and the desserts. The staff also gave My daughter a free brownie with a candle and a lovely drizzled 13 and they sang Happy Birthday, which was a lovely sentiment.

Was looking for a place to take my family of 9 and 2 friends for my sons 14th birthday party. We decided after a long 4 weeks of looking for places and trying them out on Treatz ! Service was 5 star and they made my son feel really special that day He was even rewarded with an extra ice cream when we left the door ! Very affordable in price and very nice and clean inside especially the toilets where most places aren’t as hi-gene weary. Thanks again to the team at treatz we are already planning are visit

Visited for my daughter’s birthday and had booked the private area at the back. Decor was beautiful and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and desserts were served on a timely manner despite this being a large order. Shows how well the team work together. Would definetly visit again and highly recommend.

Attaching pictures for the management to see that this group or our family and friends are never visiting this place. We had booked a table for 27th jan. The girl who attended us came to tell us that the table time is up in 10 min. Which was fine. But then she took my order which she could have denied if I wasn't going to be allowed to finish my drink ( how to gulp this milkshake in 2 min ). There were 4 people waiting for the table and the seating was for 8 . She could have offered to sit on the side or somewhere to be seated and finish my drink. But we were soo offended the way she asked up to get up and leave.And the guy on the till as well addressed this way rudely and just transferred the shake in a small glass ( only half of it). We were at CORO for our last meet-up and such a humble place. We went to wagamama from here after the experience and literally had good time. Never coming back here. Nothing you can't get anywhere else. The way you get treated means a lot. So much arrogance.. To update on the response: You have cameras in place. There was no menu. Please re visit the whole narrative. I have mentioned the response that could have been. Never denied the fact that the table time was up! No one was rude from our end. We even clarified the duplicate bill with a laugh to lighten up the situation.There were 4 other people to witness this in an un biased way unlike what you are responding here. Please re check the facts.

Visited the place over the weekend with a few friends and I’m sorry to say, the service is unbelievably poor. I understand the policy of reservation for 1hr 45 minutes but you can’t outrightly be rude to customers and discrimate if there’s not a hefty bill made per table as per your expectations. Looking through the number of negative reviews it is quite clear that there is fundamental gap in what you understand being polite is (Assertiveness in a feeble voice isn’t) ! And your responses to customer comments are baffling. I’m surprised how this place is operational in a prime location and missing basic etiquette of hospitality and treating customers right. We had booked a table for 8 and 2 couldn’t make it last minute. We were definitely not treated politely and were asked multiple times to leave without any consideration to one of us finishing a drink. Not coming back here again and will not recommend to anyone.

The variety of desserts and puddings here are top notch, I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu!! everything about this place is just lovely, Mrs Mohammed is an awesome host who chats away and always makes us feel very welcome. The interior is quite art-decor'ish, plush and very comfortable. We have started coming here after dining around town as the food really is over and above any dessert menus we have come across, a real 'Treat' right enough.

My daughter Was so excited to come here for her 13th birthday. They got a table and booked in a reservation for 1:30pm. They got a reply back saying “would be glad to have you, make sure to get you a great table” We eventually got there and it was closed. On their website it says it opened at 12:00. Very disappointing will try to come back again.

I ordered online and got my dessert delivered. We ordered two chocolate crepes and both were raw and inedible. When I called voicing my opinion, the person I spoke to was so rude to me and did not offer a solution instead he spoke back and hung up

BIG portions, the ice cream cold cold and the waffle and doughnuts were still warm. yummy and sweet and everything you could need. Very happy with the order!!!

The lady who owns the place she was rude with us. She didn’t let us sit on the table we wanted. And also dessert was very basic all ready made once!!!

This place has absolutely been my fave so far!! I’m here every other day due to my craving for they’re hot chocolate!! Customer service has always been on point, and are always willing to strive for the best. The desserts overall have been great and truly have always felt satisfied. Highly recommend this place for those with a sweet tooth!
