I made a telephone order for me to collect. I ordered the salt and pepper box (large ). It was supposed to have chicken strips there was definitely no chicken just inedible hard coating couldn't eat any of that the spare ribs had hardly any meat on them and were overcooked and too tough to chew the chips were hard and cold. The chicken balls were no better neither were the spring rolls I ordered a side order of curry sauce only thing that was ok. Overall very disappointed 90% sadly in the bin .. certainly won't be going back again

UPDATE...We have been ordering from Kam Lee for several years now and this is definitely our go to...tonight we can honestly say was the best meal we have ever had....and we are a stickler for the same meal...3 house special chow meins pancake rolls n sweet n sour chicken balls...was lush tonight...thank you Best Chinese ever...tasty n hot cant fault it at all...my parents even come from Horsford to collect...will take alot to beat this Chinese...lovely customer service too

Not so good tonight I'm afraid the sweet and Sour Chicken balls was a dark and almost a string like meat unlike it normally is very disappointed, thinking twice about going back

We've been using this take away for a while now , and we use it A LOT. Always good service.Food consistently good. Try it you won't be disappointed. Ok so 2 years from above review here is an update. STILL THE BEST CHINESE TAKEAWAY IN NORWICH. Thank you all at Kam Lee. Keep up the good work. And people, you gotta try this place

Since we have moved to the area, have have had a few takeaways from here, and it has never dissapointed. The food is always piping hot, great flavours and always delivered on time. The prices are fair and the staff are friendly, there isn’t much more you could ask for from a Chinese. This will always be our go to Chinese whilst we live in Norwich.

If I could give no stars I would.. I ordered from these on friday night. Normally never had a problem. Along with other items I ordered the 1/4 Aromatic Duck, IT WAS NOT DUCK...!!!!! It was pork as you can see by the photo, and smelt like pork. Instead of spring onion they gave lettuce.. When you pay as much as you do for the duck you expect duck..... Wont be using again...

First time here. Food was hot and quite tasty. Prices are ok but beware, they only accept cash.

Best Chinese in Norwich. Everything is nice and fresh with lots of vegetables and tender meats. Great prices as well, can’t recommend enough!!!!

received the wrong order which was meant to be special fried rice which it wasn’t as it was all mushy and didn’t look like the normal one when I rung up they said it was the house special special fried rice which clearly isn’t the same as the 1A they do that is the normal one I have

I have had a few meals from Kam Lee and never have I had a bad one. The food is hot on arrival and tastes lovely every time. Wouldn’t use anyone other Chinese Takeaway now.

Terrible! Half portion for a full portion price and very little meat! I struggled to find the small strips of chicken in their meal! Tasteless and bland! Don’t waste your money …

First time at this takeaway, and would definitely recommend, good food and good portions, front of house staff very polite and good service will go to again.

Lovely place decided to try this Chinese out after all the good reviews. Food was amazing cannot fault it and lovely people. Customer service was good. Lovely freebie of spring rolls too nice touch😃

Insanely good. Was skeptical, but never had a Chinese this good. Chicken balls were perfectly cooked, tender with no mushy stuff. Rice was jkt greasy and lovely. Best chciken curry I've ever had. 10/10

Ordered from here for the first time last night. It's always scary when trying a new takeaway, but the food was really good, hot, came with free spring rolls and even arrived early on a Saturday! We have probably tried nearly every Chinese takeaway in Norwich and this was easily in the top 3. If you're thinking of ordering you won't go wrong ordering from here.

The king prawn black bean + egg fried rice (Large of course) :) I ordered yesterday was top class. I'll surely be back when next I visit Norwich.

House Special Chow Mein is good but needs more noodles, and the Salt and Chilli King Prawns are good too, if ordering from inside the shop they can be a little slow so I'm going to have my order delivered next time as they seem to prioritise delivery orders, nice friendly staff, i wish they would move the two mountain bikes from the waiting area near the counter though as i caught my shin on the peddle of one last time i was in there, health and safety may have something to say about that. 4 stars rather than 5 just because of the bikes. Editing this review on 10/11/19. The bikes mentioned in this review have now been removed.

Personally my favourite Chinese take away in the city.. You can make amendments if you want and are happy to pay a lil extra.

ordered a chinese had a two hour wait called twice to see what the hold up was they had delivered to the wrong address still gave them the benefit of the doubt they said they would cook up the meal I had ordered right away I asked for discount even a few pound off and they refused thought that was rude way to go about making a mistake and didn’t even say sorry so had to go else where would not recommend poor customer service and poor communication amongst there staff

Best chicken curry around, in fact they are probably the best going.

The food is really good, its slightly under cooked which is the way I like Chinese food. Some places over cook it but this place is definitely spot on for me! Also their big fritters! YUM!!
