Kaldi Coffee House in North Down

delivery is always fast, food is warm and portions are big. the food tastes gorgeous and is genuinely my new favourite local cafe. also the biscoff milkshakes are incredible. love this place

Ordered delivery at least 5 times in the last month and a half and never once has it disappointed! So yummy and has now beaten my other fav takeaway! 🤤

Had lunch while waiting for an appointment, food was good and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Been here lots of times but this time was disappointing, we ordered our breakfast in between appointments at 10.30, we had to leave at 11.00 as the waitress told us it would be another 10 mins, another waitress kept running up to the spar so obviously someone didn’t place their order correct.

Arrived for a coffee and a sandwich at lunchtime today. We are regular visitors and have been for some considerable time. We took a seat near the window and a young female member of staff approached and literally threw two menu's on the table. No welcome nothing followed by her walking away without asking if we would like a coffee or tea. After a few minutes another member of staff approached and took our drinks order plus one scone and one sandwich. Tea and coffee arrived shortly after however other customers who arrived after us and a few buying a takeaways were served. We are fairly patient individuals so we waited and we waited and we waited. With my cold tea and a cold coffee the young female member passed us by to make a coffee refill at an adjoining table but completely ignored us. Some thirty five minutes later we still hadn't received our food so l asked a staff member why the long wait to be told the food order went into the kitchen. I quickly commented well it never came out. We couldn't wait any longer and to be fair a staff member apologised but then had the cheek to charge me for our cold tea and coffee. I asked for the manager but unfortunately he was not there. This is a regular stop for us but the inefficient and rude service means we and our family members will go elsewhere.

Went in for coffee and a fry and have to say it's very good tastey food and good coffee. Waiting time for to served is a bit slow but other than that all was very good.

I recently had lunch here, we usually go for breakfast and we were not disappointed, good food and friendly service.

Lovely coffee shop and nicely decorated. Was served a cappuccino in a very large mug which was well worth the money. Got a chilli chicken and cheese melt panini with Side salad and coleslaw which was really tasty and piping hot. For £4.75 for the panini it was a great price. Would recommend and will go back!

This establishment had been recommended to me on several occasions by an old aunt so I thought I better give it a try. The place was very clean and tidy the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. We tried the traditional fry and the mini fry which was very tasty and none greasy. I would have no problem recommending this coffee house.

Have been here a few times for breakfast and every time i visit the staff are always lovely and freindly and very accommodating Food is always of a high standard and well cooked Very clean and tidy inside Would have no hesitation in recommending this as a great place to eat

Superb Ulster Fry, great club sandwich, lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. What else to say? Support your local businesses people please!!!

I popped in for my usual " fruit scone " and as always it was great, soft, large no skimping on the size, and full of flavour. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is to much for them. This cafe has a very good menu.. Would I recommend this cafe ?. Without a doubt. 10/10

Went with family for lunch. Fairly uninspiring decor but decent food menu. Service little in the slow side maybe, but friendly and the food was without fault. Not a place to go out of your way to eat but if passing then worth a visit.

Kaldi has been through a few changes since I started eating there and it's just gotten better and better. It's very near to where I live so it's very handy to have a cafe nearby, and I'm grateful it's as nice as it is. The coffee is great, and I can say with all honesty I've never had a bad meal there (breakfast/lunch/dinner). This has included two impromptu trips with some visitors we had over and they were more than happy to accommodate the sudden group of 8 we'd thrown at them, ensuring our food arrived quickly, and together. Great service, great food, highly recommend.

Kaldi is a short walk from where I live. My daughter and I very last minute decided to pop over with a bottle of Processco to try their Sunday dinner.

As a former regular i have to say my last few visits to kaldi havent been great, missing items from breakfast, included items wed asked not to have, service has been slow, plates not very hot and prices seem to have also increased. Shame as it started off so good. Dont think il ve back anytime soon, defo others preferred locally at the moment.

I recently came across this place by accident and couldn't recommend it enough, the breakfast is delicious and staff are very friendly and make the whole experience fantastic.

Called in at lunchtime for a quick bite to eat. The decor had changed since the lady time we were there. I think the look is shabby chic like all the coffee shops and cafes are looking these days. We were told we could sit anywhere. The waitress came over with menus as soon as we settle down. The soup of the day was spicy carrot soup. We had 2 soups one with a tuna sandwich and one with wheaten bread. The granddaughter had gougons and a portion of chips which were extra. The coffee was nice and came in a cafetiere. Service good. The granddaughter thought the gougons were a doughy/floury. I tasted a portion of them and said they tasted like the sweet and sour chicken balls you get in the chinese. All in all good lunch. Have been to this wee place a few times and always gets the thumbs up. Service is great, breakfasts were really lovely and accommodating when a few changes were made. They now do a 2 course dinner and I cannot wait to try this some evening.

Ate here today for the first time and had a Sunday roast followed by some apple crumble. Both were absolutely delicious. The service is also amazing, with the friendliest staff I've seen in a restaurant in a long time. Kaldi is a clean, well looked after restaurant with great food, staff and pricing, give it a try :)

This is how it should be, great food, hot, fresh and warm plates! Service was fantastic, staff are friendly and customer focused. Definitely the best place ive experienced around bangor lately. Top notch 👍🏼

I had breakfast here with my husband. It is clean and has a pretty basic interior.

Good coffee, good portion sizes desserts. Great friendly service.

Lovely establishment great food great staff and lovely surroundings- why not call and see for yourselves great choice of menus and now serving an evening menu until 9pm daily.

We have started to use Kaldi regularly since it has been refurbished. The staff are friendly, the menu is varied and excellent value. The cafe itself is spotlessly clean. One request though would be to provide gluten free alternatives. My husband is gluten free and therefore has a limited choice of food.

First class food I had ranch steak onion rings and garlic cubes, steak cooked to perfection, also recommend ,bacon loin, pasta dish and last but not least the Kaldi special burger, deserts also are first class ,my mint aero cheesecake was yummy , apple pie and chocolate fudge cake also excellent. BYO which is good. Last but not not least staff couldn't be anymore helpful and very friendly.

My husband and I often go into this, our local coffee house. We always find Kaldi a very friendly spot with the staff ever ready to make you feel and home and willing to serve you with freshly baked scones, lovely breakfast food, lunches or simply whatever you want on the menu. They never disappoint and it is always a pleasure to eat here.

A short and simple review of a place that I have been to many times but never taken the time to review which is not right!! Put simply!! A great run place that you are always made welcome with freshly cooked fair and a welcome smile!! Now for many that might not seem like much, if you work in a trade as difficult as this, it's a lot!! And it's appreciated!! Well done kaldi and keep it up!! I love a day away from fine dining just to speak to people that actually want you in their business!! #breathoffreashair

Two scones and 2 coffees £6.90. Cheaper than some coffee shops but dearer than others. They do 10% discount for Frieds of Assisi animal home members, it's just a pity the staff can't work out how much this is and we have had to challenge them on a few occasions. Seats are mixed - there are 2 or 3 soft sofa type areas and the rest are the traditional wooden variety. The service is prompt but could be more friendly. Being regulars of other coffee shops we find the scones have a little too much bicarbonate of soda in them and it affects the flavour.

Called in at lunch time for something to eat as it is near my grand daughters house. On entering I notice the decor with different portraits of famous people for sale. There is different styles of furniture to sit at and on, one being an old suitcase converted into a table. Ordered lunch and coffees which came promptly. I had a chicken bacon and avocado salad. My grand daughter had the lasagne salad and lastly potatoes and leek soup. I was surprised there was not Lot of customers there and I mentioned to staff the fact that I did not know it existed. It is inexpensive and staff friendly. Advertising would probably draw in more custom

Food average with too many tray bakes. Seating ok and staff pleasant most of the time. Surprised it's not busy as there are shops and doctors surgery. Maybe I'm not there at busy times?

I often pop in after a visit to Green Road shops. Kaldi provides high quality coffee and plenty of choice of cakes and tray bakes. Quirky decorations and friendly staff. What's not to like?

My local coffee shop , best cappuccino , yummy scones, and best of all friendly and helpful staff. Very relaxing atmosphere .

Me my wife and my son go here twice aweek and u can't fault this place food great staff are brilliant and the owner is just soo helpful

This cute little place seems to have changed hands and although I can't really fault the place it just doesn't seem as cute and welcoming inside. I also don't like the polystyrene soup tubs and cling film on traybakes etc, cake domes would look much more attractive. Good luck!

An outstanding coffee shop/cafe the food and coffee and pastries are warm and fresh . This place comes high up my list of places to visit.

We frequent kaldi and love their fresh tasty cakes and traybakes, all homemade! The staff are lovely and very attentive. Easy to get parked is always a bonus.
