The food and service are excellent. It’s not the fanciest place, but it has a South American vibe to it that is something I really enjoy. Prices have gone up over the years, but the quality makes it worth it, and it's still cheaper than many others with lower-quality food. As a Spaniard living in London, this place is always at the top of my list whenever friends or family come to visit

I recently tried this restaurant and I was quite impressed by their mix grill (wish it would be a slightly bigger portion). My wife enjoyed the grilled fish. Will definitely come back to try your Picanha.

For me, this is the most welcoming Brazilian restaurant in London, I've been to several times, I've always received very good service, I've been to it several times and it's always been perfect, I've been to several Brazilian restaurants and this is definitely the best, The food is delicious and comes in satisfactory quantity, the draft beer is extremely cold.

Food was excellent, very tasty, and it was great trying some different dishes. The portions were very generous, so we ended up taking some home.

From the moment you walk in, the lively Rio energy hits you with neon-lit walls and live samba music that makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Brazil. The picanha is perfectly cooked, the caipirinhas are on point, and the atmosphere? It’s everything. This spot nails that Rio de Janeiro feel, where food isn’t just eaten, it’s celebrated. If you’re after a taste of Brazil with all the energy and flavor, this is the place. Perfect for anyone looking to escape to Rio without leaving London.

Best Brazilian in London/europe/the world. Have been coming here since I was a little kid. The steak can NOT be beaten. I eat it out everyday and spend a lot of money on good food. The caprihina is THE BEST you’ll ever find, been all over the world and no caprihinia comes close! Can not stress enough, if you want authentic, good quality food - look no further. No brazilian in London comes close to kaipiras. Very highly recommend. And for those people who have left anything less than 5 stars need there head checked.

Great food, I ordered Filet Mignon with couve spring greens and beans. The restaurant itself is quite small and noisy, may not be suited for everyone or social event but the food is great.

The foods was really nice and authentic. Good value for money. The place was super cute and cosy. And the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was slightly salty if your someone who minds that, And being from London you get used to food being under salted at restaurants compared to other countries, but then again Brazilian food does tend to be saltier then other cuisines. Nonetheless was really good and I would go back.

I ordered food via the Uber eats app worth £46.00 and the food was very bad, I ordered a rib and picanha and honestly I'm extremely sad with what arrived to me, a rib with just the fat, it had practically no meat , and the picanha was so rare, where I asked for medium, but it seemed like it didn't even seal the meat properly. Anyway, I was a customer and loved the food there, but for delivery I will never order again.

We were a group of 13 Brazilians trying to go yesterday for lunch, but a female waiter/manager was extremely rude on the phone asking us to pay £30 per person to have lunch as we were more than 10 people. I was trying to state to her that we were ready to go to have lunch and did not accept that we need to pay £30 per person only because we were over 10 people. She said that we could come only if we accept this minimum charge £30, which made no sense to us. She should be happy that we were going to give her a huge business bringing 13 Brazilians for lunch (starters, main course, dessert and lots of drinks). The waiter even called me on the phone "arrogante", which is extremely rude. My take on it it is that she is the typical "barraco" person, who does not understand how to treat paying customers. The name "Barraco" is perfect to describe this awful place, located on a dodgy London street. I have been there once before and the food was below average and the restaurant looks awful. If you want a real experience in a "favela restaurant", ", barraco is your place... Yet be prepared to deal with all the rude staff and tourist trap expensive food. Dr Marco Cortez

Possibly my favourite restaurant in London. Small and intimate and tucked away down a side-street off Kilburn High Road (I’ve lived in/around the area most of my life and only discovered this place 2 years ago - despite it being here for 20 odd years!) The steaks are delicious. The starters are delicious. The sides are delicious. Everybody I’ve brought here has loved it. Staff are friendly and accommodating. And the cold beers off the pump are spot on. Can’t get enough of Kaipiras!

Coxinha, farofa, palmito, bolinho de bacalhau, aipim frito, picanha na chapa, feijoada. Pudim de leite, beijinho de coco for dessert. Authentic Brazilian food in the library of the Latin American Center. Simple tables, simple room, extremely delicious food.

The real Brazilian cuisine experience in London. We visited Kaipiras few years ago, before the pandemic and long overall closures, and we found the same lovely place and high quality Brazilian food. Great job and kudos to the Team that served amazing food in perfect time during a busy Saturday night.

This is my local, love this place hidden away in a backstreet. Small and atmospheric. Used to have live music in the room next to it years ago and heard a rumour that they might bring that back? Yes please!!!!!

A hidden gem tucked down Kingsgate Place next to the Latin American Centre. Food was wholesome, tasty and fresh, waitresses were friendly and happily squeezed us in last minute. Our first time here and we tried the risoles de Queijo, porcao de bilingual de Queijo, Costello de ripa, salads de palmito and isca de peixe a milanese. We tried the cassava powder for the first time on our main course. Healthy portions (we had a takeaway bag). Clientele seemed to be mostly regulars and locals - always a good sign. Will be back!

Located next to the Latin American Centre off High Street Kilburn Kaipiras is an authentic cozy spot for homeade Brazilian food. The interior feels slightly cramped but homely, while the outside tables offer ample space. The menu is the best hits of Brazilian cuisine - feijoada (stew of black beans with various types of pork and beef), picanha (known as the rump cap), bolinho de bacalhau (cod fish), moqueca (fish stew) and brigadeiro (chocolate ball). The picanha was tasty but slightly chewy. Open from 12:00 to 23:00 the service is friendly, efficient and on the ball.

Delicious food. Family style small restaurant tucked away in a street where you wouldn’t expect a restaurant. Very much recommend it if you want to try Brazilian food. Very reasonably priced as well.

Best steak I've ever had. Absolutely unreal flavour. Beautiful crust and the feijao that came with it was truly off the scale. If you like your food there is no better place to come for dinner in this part of London

Really like this place, down a little side road, a world away from Kilburn high road. The atmosphere is casual and very welcoming. The food was authentic and the steak was fantastic. The beer was lovely and cold and you can get Brazilian pop - Guarana. Will be back for sure

A little gem off the beaten path. If my Brazilian friend didn’t tell me of this place, I wouldn’t have found it. Fillet mignon with two sides was £19. The meat was extremely good. You can choose between rice, chips, salad, spring greens, or beans. We had grilled prawns as a main and that was about £8. The prawns were large and served on a bed of salad. It is a tiny restaurant so a booking is essential. The whole meal for 4 people was £130.

I love this place! If you visit it try the filé mignon and the honey bread desert. suggestion for the owner: cook a bit more the rice and beans. Out of that everything is perfect.

The restaurant appears clean. They offer a wide selection of starters, salads, main courses including the famous feijoada for around £13 and some grills and other main courses for around £17. Salads are around £4-5 and soft drinks around £2-3. They take credit cards and they add 10% service charge. This is a restaurant more than a cafe. There is seating for around 18 people. You can see part of the kitchen from the tables. There are pictures including that of the statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro. You can also see the freezer, and a drink cabinet. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly and chatty and kind. There was some background music. The toilet has a toilet seat, toilet paper, sink, soap and dryer. It is one toilet cubicle for staff, customers, men, women.

Visitef this place already several times and definitely will come back again! Excellent quality and taste of food, very good size portions, staff are all very smiley, friendly and inviting. Atmosphere is cute and cosy. Great for Sunday lunch or dinner with group of friends. Highly recommended!!

Is a simple environment, but cosy and the staff are very sympathetic. The food is nice with a good price. Located in a quiet road behind the Kilburn main road, which is a plus!

Probably the best Brazilian restaurant I’ve ever been outside of Brazil. Good vibes, great food. I recommend the Feijoada and the chicken hearts.

Accidentally stumbled across this amazing place - a small, unpretentious, neighbourhood restaurant (it has no more than half a dozen tables) tucked away in a side street behind Aldi on Kilburn High Road. But having been there I would make a special trip to go there again! Delicious, authentic, home cooking. Such friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back again!

Best original pudim and the best food from Brazil in London

Brilliant food, very well served - this slis their vegetarian dish. They were very accommodating with our large group and we tried a variety of dishes - mixed grill, casquinha de Siri, acarajé, feijoada... Everything was spot on, as Brazilian as it can be.

Amazing steak!!! I had it with the beans and chips on the side and the beans were so good!!! And chips were thinly sliced and crunchy and oh my... the steak was delicious!!!! Ask for farofa - it's crunch cassava flour, so good with the beans and the steak. Amazing staffs as well. She recommended us so many good stuffs.

It's a fair price for the options available. A friend and myself had steak but both felt it was over seasoned. Service was good and lovely staff.

We've been going here for years and all the staff are son friendly here. They always are so sweet with my little boy. Extremely child friendly here. And just a really lovely experience all round! Great food absolutely worth a visit you will be a regular too!

I never leave reviews. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. I ordered steak and chips, prawns. And caipirinha drinks. The best cocktails ever!!

I was curious to try this place even though is not quite near where I live. We decided to spend the day exploring the area and go for a late lunch at Kaipiras. When I got in, I felt the place was not super clean but I thought it was just a bad first impression. We first ordered some snacks and a beer. Beer was good - not ice cold, but good. Snacks were burnt. Had that overwhelmingly taste of bitter and were very grease. But we decided to not complain as it could simply be a frying mistake or oil not in the right temperature. Anyhow, we ordered the mains - fillet mignon with rice and beans and chicken parmigiana. Fillet mignon was absolutely delicious - well cooked, tender and super tasty. Chicken parmigiana was… burnt. Milanese was burnt. Had to remove the Milanese cover in order to eat. They clearly don’t know how to fry food. Now what bothered me the most was my partner finding mouse traps behind our table and in the toilet. It means my first impression was right: place is dirty. Too bad we only saw it in the end otherwise I would have left immediately. Owner should perhaps consider a renovation: cleaning the place, new decor and furniture. And obviously training the staff how to fry food. Needless to say I’m not coming back. Two stars are mainly due to delicious fillet mignon - nonetheless I profoundly regret having eaten in a place with mouse traps.

First time dining in Kaipiras and I was pleasantly surprised. Was recommended it by my Brazilian friend. As someone who is not that much of a meat eater I can see why people get into meat. The steak was cooked to perfection so flavourful and juicy. Was £14 for an insanely large portion of steak chips and salad. Definitely worth the value for money. and the caipirinhas are the best! Super boozy and £6 only . I was tipsy after one. That’s what you want in a drink. Would also recommend a side of their Feijoada. Delicious Staff are also super friendly which is a bonus. Cute little joint hidden in the nook and cranny. Very hearty and authentic and deliverers gigantic portions packed full of flavour for very little price

Being Brazilian, I miss my birthplace, the traditional bars where it's always full, smiling people talking, and we see all the movement of employees, and at Kaipiras I feel exactly that! Nice place with good food, cold beer, fair price, casual, friendly service and it's also pet friendly. I highly recommend the place!

This is the worst Brazilian place in London, the staff working there without experience just because they don't have staff, not experience at all of customer service. They don't know how to afford the complaints and they don't have any manager. Almost 1 hours and half waiting for the food that you see in the pictures, beers served in a hot glass. Was first and last time.

Great food had a lot of fun with my family

Returned here after 5 years as was in the local area. Hidden gem! Steak was amazing. Picanha was tender, juicy and full of flavour. Prawn starter was spot on- exactly how I like my prawns cooked. The Brazilian cocktail was strong and for £6 more than worth it. Friendly and attentive staff and you feel like you are actually in Brazil. Wish I lived closer
