Kaash Tandoori in Chesterfield

We went last minute as the restaurangt that was booked was closed down but still took our booking to celebrate a family ruby wedding anniversary, great food and lovely staff excellent value for money

Unfortunately food was not as expected- Tikka Masala had plenty of chicken but just tasted like curry powder, whilst the Madras has so much Turmeric in my partners hands are still stained hours after eating! To add to the poor food the box the food was delivered in absolutely stank of cigarettes! Won’t be ordering from here again.

Imagine the worst meal you’ve ever had and times it by a million and you still wouldn’t be close

Best indian restaurant in chesterfield by far! Give it ago you will not be dissapointed!Nobody in chesterfield cooks authentic indian food,we have tried all over but always return here! Ask Ash whay you like and he will cook to order!

By the time it was delivered I was starving so excepted it even though it was cold and most of it was inedible.

Food great, understand there was a problem with the cooking, would have appreciated notification rather than having to chase. However will definitely order from Kaash again.

Supposed to be a special treat after a very hard week at work for us both. Food delivered going cold. Driver hyped-up, kept apologising for being late; pickle tray missing from order. Not ordered from Kaash for a while, won't be bothering again. Very disappointing - waste of money. Will stick to Valentinos pizza take-away from now on!

The chicken in both my starter and main was dry and tough/very chewey!!!! The Tarka Dall side dishes was just PURE SALT!!! A total waste of money,I shall not order food from this place ever again!!! DISGUSTING!

Bland for a tandoori arrived 10 mins early but was quite cold so needed a microwave hit. The rice was boring and white the marinate on the chicken was poor and the Saag aloo was overcooked. Salad was a lump of lettuce a quarter of a tomato and some lemon won't be ordering again unfortunately.. such a shame as for the price and the delivery charge and service charge i was expecting more....

I dont care what anybody says kaash is the most tasty authentic curry in the midlands by far .. forget all your others what taste like a curry from a jar kaash is amazing. By far the best ever egg fried rice. But each curry is made seperate not the usual using a base curry paste and all tasting the same kaash eaxh dish is unique and taste amazing try the rest and then try the best you will not look back.

The food wasn't hot, the main dish came as a portion of sauce with 3 small pieces of chicken in it, won't be ordering from these again....

I hate leaving bad feedback but it was probably one of the worst I’ve had for a long time. Pickle tray was so minimal. The tikka masala didn’t taste right and the naan bread was very stodgy and dough like. The only thing I enjoyed were the poppudoms.

All food was delivered on time, however the tray containing the food was swimming in grease. The Prawn Kashmir was dreadful and salty. Called the Restaurant and advised that the kitchen staff had put salt in the dish as opposed to sugar. No problem, another was sent out. The replacement had half a banana just floating on the top. None of the food we ordered was edible, it was swimming in grease, will deffo not be buying from here again

Food was lovely and fresh, best chicken pakora, aloo chop and naan bread I've had in a long time - all hot and the salad was fresh. Delivery was late but the owner rang to tell me they were running a little late 20 mins before delivery time, so that was good. A lovely meal, thank you.

Always a warm welcome and brilliant food . Chicken Tilka Marsala with extra garlic is a must and soaked up with a garlic naan . Never had a bad meal ... recommend

Food quality not great. Mushroom fried rice was cold soggy mushrooms mixed into plain boiled rice with no flavour. Onion Bhajis over cooked. Chicken was dry. Had ordered poppadoms which weren’t delivered (however they did very quickly deliver some after we rang to make them aware). Wouldn’t order again as although service issues resolved quickly, the food was disappointing.

first order from here. love love love the spices but not too much heat. Spot on food Absolutely loved it. Deffo order again

The curry had no flavour, the rice was watery and the popadums were disgusting..

The chicken in 3 of the meals was burnt and inedible. The onion bhaji starters were black and crispy, again inedible. I feel the meal was a total waste of money and won’t use them again.

First time ordering from here. Wrong curry delivered (ordered passanda and got a korma) korma was very bland and chicken wasn't very nice. Also ordered 2 x poppadoms but they were missing aswell. Dissapointed. Wouldn't order from here again.

I order food from you very often and have never had any problems with it but today's order for me was below par to your usual service the delivery driver smelt of cigarettes and so did the carrier bag used to deliver it. The prawn puri was good the garlic nan bread was hard and crumbling and looked like it had been thrown on the floor and the chicken in the korma was tasteless and dry. I may not order again from your restaurant but feel sorry that I have had to take this decision.

The food was 30 minutes late and when it finally arrived cold, the korma was very watery and the naan bread was also very tough and cold! Also only got 2 poppadoms. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again! disgusted

we came here for our wedding anniversay on the 14th feb for a meal the owner was extremely polite and nothing was too much trouble .... food was amazing and a very quick service will definately be going again 5 *

Well what can I say , korma had no coconut in it , chicken madras wasn’t even nice just didn’t tast of anything , and wasn’t even warm , Naan bread was tasteless to , will not be using again , very disappointed

Rang restaurant when 15 mins late. Told it would be no more than 5 mins and took another 15 mins.

Started visiting Kaash's 20 years ago the food is always delicious and the portions are generous and excellent value. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. I now happily drive 15 miles as it is worth it.

Didn't get all the popadoms we paid for. Asked for the curry to be madras hot but it had hardly any spice at all. Quality of the meats within the curry was quite good and the portions were fine

The chicken in the punjabi was over cooked & very dry this time, which is a disappointment as it’s usually perfect! The butter chicken was perfect though!

Restaurant contacted us to advise that lamb chops were not available. We substituted a different starter but subsequently found our bill had not been reduced for the balance.

Lovely food would definitely order again!

After being told our order would late it still then turned up 20 mins after the rearrange time. The driver then upset my daughter and his passenger was sounding the horn and annoying the neighbours. When we finally sat down to eat, the food was cold and tasteless apart from the over- powering taste of salt in the butter chicken. Will not be ordering from here again!!

The main dish chicken khari, rice and nan bread was hot and tasted Delicious. The pomadums tasted a bit stale and the onion salad was very poor, poorly chopped and not much cucumber or tomatoes, the yoghurt sauce was awful. It would be good to eventually find a decent Indian takeaway in Chesterfield

I ordered a chicken tikka masala, the taste was awful. It tasted nothing like a tikka masala, it was very salty & tasted more like Gravy. I couldn't eat it.

Usually love this place, my meal was well over spiced to hot. I coulded taste anything because of this so I put it in the bin. At £20 on a takeaway it should be right. Gulab every time going forward.

I never write bad reviews, I only do good ones, but this lamb tikka masala is the worst I have ever tasted. I strongly advice against ordering this curry. lamb looked like it had been chewed up in someone’s mouth and spat back out. most disgusting curry ever. sorry to write a bad review but it really was not worth £15 for rice , curry and naan

Me llevaron a la Kaash por un colega de negocios y quedé muy sorprendido por la calidad. 1 clase calle, comida encantadora - cocinado incluyendo algo del menú a medida que fue solicitado por otro miembro del grupo. No voy a Chesterfield muy a menudo pero volveré aquí cuando vuelva.

My wife's chicken korma was very watery and the chicken was not cooked enough some parts was still pink and the sauce did not taste the same as before when we have ordered from there will not be reordering again

Late deliveries. Luke warm food. Incorrect orders. Solution offered by the establishment load the app so that you can get a reduction on your next order!!! This used to be a great little restaurant and reliable takeaway but now it's total chaos.

My order was wrong, I ordered one chicken dish and one lamb....Both ended up being chicken. They only sent one garlic nan when I'd ordered too. Not happy

original delivery time was 17.45. Kaash added 25mins to this. (18.10). Rang them at 18.30, told it was on it's way. No apology or reason for delay given. Food finally arrived at 18.40- 55mins after original delivery time. All the dishes were only just warm and the naans were cold. VERY DISAPPOINTED- will not use Kaash again.

So had to go without some food and when I rang them half an hour later asking where my other half of the meal is they said there were no drivers. Stick to another indian rather than this one. Seriously gone down hill! Well done kaash you have lost a regular customer!
