We had the most tasty Indian & Bangladeshi food here. The stuff was very friendly and nice behaviour. We enjoyed a lot and had good vibes 🖤

Pasanda tasted like pure vinegar. Phoned up to complain and wasn't interested in the slightest, got told it was the red wine they cook it with that i could taste! I've never tasted anything like it before. 😫Complete waste of money never ordering from there again.

If only the surroundings were as good as the food ! We were seated upstairs which was very tired looking and dusty. The seating is shabby and not in a chic way. Avoid visiting the toilets if at all possible , the whole of this place needs a deep clean ! Service was slow and the staff were inattentive, not a smile in sight from the waiters who served us . My advice, stick to ordering a takeaway do not eat in and pray the kitchen lives up to its 5 star food hygiene rating certificate as the rest of the restaurant does not .

Takeaway is a joke, ordered at 6.30 and told an hour wait and after another 6 phones calls still no delivery at 8.30, excuse it he is ringing his driver, not a chance will we ever order a takeaway from them again. Just glad we haven’t got friends around.

Ordered takeaway at 6.30 and said it would be delivered in an hour. After 6 phones calls still no order at 8pm, excuse was he was contacting his driver, still nothing at 8.20, so told them if they can’t do a takeaway in 2 hours not to bother. Will never order from them again

Food was excellent from starters though to main course. Vindaloo was excellent and full or flavour, chicken just fell apart. Would definitely order from here again. Only down side was no complimentary poppadoms.

Popped in on Friday night with my wife and son instead of getting a take away and had a fab meal, so much nicer than getting a take away for a change, service was super attentive and the food really good quality, they are not stingy on the portion sizes, super good value for money. They clearly have lots of repeat customers as they knew a lot of people coming in by name, which is always a good sign.

Wasn’t impressed, the selected dishes had very little meat or prawns which were swimming in excess sauces.

The food was superb and the Jalapuri beef chef's special is one of the best dishes I've ever had. We all enjoyed every bite of our dinner. This is now our new go to Indian.

The food was bland and had no spice. Ordered a dopiaza and it had no spice at all. There's also no consistency, ordered a beef madras last week and it was incredibly hot but this week it was mild. Ordered garlic naan and it had no flavour and was bland. Really is a shame as Delhi 41 was the only good curry takeout in Chesterfield.

Missing one Curry from the order and the rest of the food was cold when it arrived

Tried to order takeaway for delivery from here tonight online. Was told we were outside the delivery area which is 4 miles on their site. (We are 2.4 miles away well inside the 4 mile range) Told we were outside the delivery area so wouldn't deliver. When tried to say we would collect the site would not deduct the 10% off for collection which they advertise. A good order lost tonight and will NOT try again will go somewhere else.

Very disappointed, the curries very watery and tasteless. No spice heat in either chicken curry or bhuna and arrived cold. I am very surprised as this curry house has been one of my favourites in the past. What went wrong?

Tandoori Lamb Chops Curry Dish! I really enjoyed the flavour, I can still taste it from last night's meal...

It was OK very slow service, to busy sorting take ways out than concentrating on people in actual restaurant. Took an hr to get our picked try ,even though there was only an hand full of people in .

Spent the night on the toilet and still unwell 24hrs later after eating here last night.

Not the first time iv been but will not returning...food was very bland one our starters look like over cooked McDonald's beef burger as for the main course was tasteless sorry guys ...restaurant is clean modern

Nice restaurant and really nice food except for the naan which was flat and stodgy however staff playing videos loud whilst we were eating I didn't appreciate and also multiple staff coming in to the dining room plus others coming in not eating and all chatting loud and sounded like they were having a business meeting was off putting to say the least. When you're a paying guest you expect a nice quiet meal but this was anything but!

Food is always really good at Delhi 41. We have takeaway regularly from here and service is great. However please can I encourage the owners to stop using plastic carrier bags for the takeaway orders, and to invest in strong paper bags. Way too much plastic gets thrown as a result.

Ordered on Uber Eats. The popadoms and chips were inedible. Curry was terrible as well. I don’t normally leave reviews and can’t do it on Uber eats so decided to review here. As a curry lover, want to let people know don’t order from here!

First time customer, ordered online. 0 star Tandoori butter chicken was over salted, as if an ingredient had been switched, we were so shocked, the chicken pieces were washed down from the sauce and the rest of the dish was binned. 1 star Lamb Tikka (starter) was 2 smallish pieces of meat, cut in half. Bit dry, still tender enough to have some taste. 2 stars Paratha a bit thin in stuffing so tasted mostly of the bread. 3 stars Dall Samber was just ok, enjoyed the flavour.

Always great food in this restaurant. Went last night as a party of 8 , we ordered the special chicken and lamb both of which need to be ordered with 24 hours notice . Both were superb .

First time customers. Waited 90mins for our order. Was stone cold when it arrived. App said it was with courier for more than 30 mins. Couldn’t eat it. Cost a fortune… thought it would be good.

amazing food! ordered three different curries, a meat platter, 2 naans, poppadoms and rice for £45 ish. You get alot for your money and delivery was under an hour, food was still hot and lovely :)

The food here is amazing! I'm from Bradford I know a good curry when I taste one so trust me in this one it's well worth the visit.

Delivery Chicken Tikka Dhansak, pulao rice, prawn puri, cucumber raitha. All delivered rapidly, hot, and very good quality. £16.95 all up, no delivery charge. Highly recommended!

If I could leave zero stars I would…I had tried the Italian place opposite Georgia’s but it was packed out so settled for this restaurant. Seeing a few people inside we decided to try it. The waiter serving seemed to be a sandwich short of a picnic. After taking our order and serving us flat cokes we were hoping that the food would be refreshing…hold that thought instead the food was so bland and lacking in any flavour. We had to force ourselves to eat as we were hungry but couldn’t finish the food as each mouthful was not stimulating any of my senses.When the other guy not waiter asked about our meal I just had to tell him the food lacked taste after all I’m paying for it and they ought to know that serving tasteless food will not lead to repeat customers. My advice to you all is just keep on walking, cycling or driving past this place unless you prefer to waste £40 on 2 bland starters 2 tasteless curry dishes and 2 flat cokes. What a total disappointment to Asian cuisine by a long shot. My wife could teach them how to make a authentic curry and more.

Brilliant menu with great service.

We've just had a meal, & the chips was rock hard the rice was dry as bone, nan bread was very overdone, chicken bhuna was OK but hardly any sauce it was definitely not worth the money & I won't be going bk, the reviews looked good aswell and I went as soon as they opened very disappointed

We have been going to eat there on a regular basis for many years with friends. The last time we went was very disappointing, we felt like an inconvenience, the waiter was rude and mumbled as he walked away as we weren’t ready to order even though we were the only people dining in. The poor service and manners have put us off going there again.

Ordered for delivery through Uber Eats and they cancelled my order because they decided to close early... Even though they close at 10pm through Uber Eats and 10:30pm on their own website, so they're still open an extra half an hour after the listed closing time on Uber Eats. First time and last time ordering, congratulations on losing a potential new customer, awful service.

The restaurant has the appearance of casual dining in although we had a takeaway.It was one of the best indian meals Ive had. We ordered enough for 4 so that we had a meal next day also. We will return again, fab food

I've had two takeaways from here in the last few weeks and neither has been any better than average. There was a time that I loved eating here but I have had much better from other Indian restaurants. The food is by no means bad, it's just not got that wow factor that it used to have.

Nan bread burnt, couldn't get the order right, the waiter walked around like he was on drugs and the curry was cold. To top it off, 3 paid cash and I went to pay the rest on card. He threw the money in the register without counting and tried to rip me off for £20.

An award winning restaurant, I like to try other restaurants but always come back here as it is my favourite Indian restaurant friendly staff and the service is fist class, the food is superb 👌 what more can you want.

Arrived early on a quiet Sunday night. 2 of about 10 tables taken. No reservations on any of the tables. Asked for table for 1 , and was refused. Pathetic.

So after trying this for the first time last night I was disappointed. The staff didn't once ask how our food was, and even when they came to the table they didn't speak. Found it extremely rude. The naan bread, onion bahjis and chips were completely tastless. The curry was half decent. Would not be returning.

Thank you Dehli 41 for making another birthday celebration so much better with your amazing food.. we did over stay but its just such a great place you don't want to leave.

I went in with my family to dine in here, after recommendations from my friends! This turned out to be absolutely fantastic, definetly the best Indian I have ever been to! The staff is really disrespectful. The food quality is below average. Ambience is very shady. Hygiene is the worst.

I was on my own and felt rude asking for 1 poppadom and pickle tray but nothing was too much trouble. Amazing chicken Madras and the garlic rice was absolutely amazing. Best curry I’ve had in a long time.

Went on a Saturday evening and whilst it was fairly busy they were still happy to accommodate us straight away. There was no kingfisher on draught so opted to try the Indian King which was OK. Poppadoms and pickle tray were good, Mint was nice and thick but the lime pickle was a little too cold so didn't have much taste. I had the Lamb Naga with Pilau Rice, very hot dish with lovely soft pieces of lamb. Friendly helpful staff, would visit again

Absolutely shocking and that's just the service went in on a Tuesday night so no customers in basically was told what table then came over to take order! We ordered then drinks arrived and my husbands come was completely flat so asked for a replacement and was told its because we asked for ice in the drink ??? Ordered the food just prior then another member of staff came in and was chatting to the original waiter clearly talking about us then said hello then continued to chat clearly about us to the point we felt extremely uncomfortable and had to leave on leaving the restaurant I made it quite clear we were aware they were talking about us and so just replied sorry no denial at all 🤔😳

Great food freshly cooked. The waiter is a bit strange. It's a bit like Faulty Towers, but hey the foods great. My tandoori chicken was the best I've ever tasted.

Terrific meal out last last, very tasty! Onion Bhajis were particularly good! Asked for my Bhuna to have a little bit of heat and it was perfect 😋 will visit again for sure.

My first visit here with a Friend since the Pandemic Lockdowns. I have had a few Takeaways , but I had not been in the Restaurant for a Meal since March 2020. Thankfully , things had not changed ! Service was prompt and friendly and the Food was up to the usual excellent standard ( Lamb Bhuna , Chicken Tikka Ceylon and Aloo Chatni ). My Friend's first visit here- He was suitably impressed. Thanks to all the Staff at Delhi 41. We will certainly return !
