I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights. I enjoyed my stay for the most part - the staff were very friendly and accommodating, making up for the fact the room was slightly on the smaller side without a view. I had breakfast in the Park Room. The spread was sufficient, most of the staff were very polite and helpful and the atmosphere of the Park Room was lovely. However I must mention my breakfast experience was tainted by one older waiter (his name is Abdul) who was quite obnoxious and frankly smelt rather bad. He kept coming too close to my face and I could smell his body odour every time he walked past. I also found his comments more annoying and pushy, than attentive. It’s disappointing, personal hygiene of staff should be at a higher level at a five star hotel. He seems to approach every guest in this way, so I’d advise people to be cautious of him - probably not what you want to deal with at 7am.

Came in today to enquire with the reception and was immediately harassed by the porter for no reason at all, and after was chased by security and offended, I left the hotel and with that the desire to ever return very unpleasant and unprofessional staff

Beautiful property steps away from Hyde Park. The hotel smells like you've walked into a fragrance shop (in a good way). The rooms are plush with nice amenities. Housekeeping and bell staff are attentive and have kind dispositions. Shopping - short walks to Regent Street and Oxford Circus for tons of stores and shopping (high-end to mid-tier) Transportation - short walk to Marble Arch tube station and a couple of bus stops Dining (at the hotel) - JW Steakhouse's breakfast buffet is small, but has a good variety of items to choose from. The a la carte breakfast items were also pretty tasty. Dining (outside the hotel) - lots of food offerings and restaurants you can walk to

The John Locke Institute's recent experience in hosting an academic conference and awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London was exceptional from start to finish, a testament to the incredible staff at the GHH. The venue was perfectly suited to hosting our large conference, and had many luxurious spaces which were repeatedly transformed to reflect our diverging requirements each day, providing flawless audiovisual systems and allowing for seamless transitions between different parts of the academic programme. The professional and attentive nature of the staff at Grosvenor House was the highlight of our experience in organising the event: from the initial planning stages to the execution on the day, their event team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, relieving huge amounts of pressure from our team. Their ability to accommodate last-minute changes and tailor the event to our specific requirements was particularly impressive. During the event, the staff were always ready to assist us; no last-minute request was too much for them to handle, and they were consistently completed within a matter of minutes, from expanding table plans to bringing power extension leads. We were particularly grateful for the help of Satori Chang in resolving issues with missing name cards, and Rosevella Da Cunha for continually making our event plans a reality, wholly unfazed by any problems which arose in the process. We are very grateful to the Grosvenor House Hotel for making our event planning and hosting experience so smooth. Thank you to the entire team for contributing so much to the success of our event!

Organizing an event at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London, was an amazing experience, and I would like to give a huge shoutout to the incredible staff. The location itself is stunning—right in the heart of London, with a gorgeous and classy vibe that made the event feel extra special. So many guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and I couldn’t agree more. What really made the whole experience stand out, though, was the team. They were just fantastic—so quick to respond to any questions or requests, both before and after the event. On the day, they were everywhere, making sure everything was running smoothly and that everyone was happy. The JW Marriott Grosvenor House team was not only professional in executing the event, they were also very flexible to implement any last minute changes and gave recommendations on how we can streamline the processes and make the event even better for our guests. So many people told me how friendly and helpful they were, and it’s true: they really went above and beyond. The event itself was a big success. Everything was perfectly organized, from the setup to the food and even the little details. You could tell they’d thought of everything, and it all just felt effortless (even though I know a ton of work must have gone on behind the scenes!). All in all, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. If you’re thinking about hosting an event there, do it. You’ll be in amazing hands, and your event will be unforgettable.

I was recently at an event organised by the John Locke Institute at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. Having attended multiple events of similar nature and style, I was more than in shock! The venue itself was stunning, elegant, and more than you could ask for for any event! But there’s one thing I feel I really need to mention and give special thanks to: the staff…from the second I entered the hotel, the doorman was so friendly, and he even remembered me when I came back later! From the introductory tour, to helping us set up, to managing a hectic (and quite demanding) crowd, the staff was exceptional, professional and very very friendly! I thankfully remember one name, and that is Shakil: so helpful, so organised and so sweet! It was even his birthday on the first day of the event, and he only mentioned it when we asked him if he had any plans for the weekend…loved every second of the event and cannot wait to collaborate again with GHH in the future!

I've been staying at this hotel every time I visit London since 2016, but this will likely be my last stay. The service I received since arriving yesterday has not met my expectations. My luggage took an excessive amount of time to arrive, and my bathroom lacked basic amenities like a dental kit and cotton pads. Despite calling twice to inquire about these items, I still haven't received them. Very disappointed."

Pros: The property is large and historic, offering plenty for kids to explore. The hotel steakhouse includes an outdoor smoking terrace for guests. Location is great, your walking distance from the gas station grocery. And all the shopping and dining areas you could wish for. Taxis are almost always available. Cons: DND sign was not respected by staff. Some suites have poor layouts. The concierge service is unreliable. Check-in/out is outdated, requiring reception visits and resulting in long wait times. Room keys were deactivated before checkout, which was inconvenient. Some steakhouse staff exhibited pretentious behavior, which detracted from the experience.

Very underwhelming experience, our welcome was far from warm, downgraded to a smaller room without compensation, tried to call At Your Service 4 times because neither the TV nor wifi was working but no one picked up. Fixed on the last day of our stay. Always lines at the front desk. Very disappointing breakfast with most usual items only a la carte and not even a toaster to toast your bread. The doorman and the turn down service lady were the only nice members of staff that always greeted us with a smile... and not to forget the kind and talented piano man for whom I am giving 2 stars instead of one

Went for the evening to the grand ballroom. Beautiful place, staff very efficient and obliging. Food was excellent ( especially when you think about how many they served, maybe 1000 people). Entertainment very good, house band kept everyone happy.

I decided on this hotel for a long couples weekend an ahead of a business trip. Hotel was over crowded, room was extremely small, and a constant sewer smell in the bathroom. As Marriott Bonboy Member, access was granted to the club lounge, which was over crowded, no seats available during afternoon tea or breakfast. Hotel service was sub-par compared to other hotels in the same segment. Price, quality, service provided doesn’t add up.

I had a terrible experience with one security named (Saeed). He was extremely rude and even shouted at me in-front of people for no reason while he was treating other people well. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected, which is the last thing anyone should feel in a hotel. It’s disappointing that such behavior is tolerated. I spoke to the hotel management about the incident, but unfortunately, no action was taken to address the issue. I hope management takes this issue seriously to ensure other guests don’t have to go through the same unpleasant experience .

Didn't stay at the hotel but attended an event here at the ballroom. Run really well considering the event had 1,300 guests and all the food was served within a 45 minute window. The staff were great with food allergies too. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Every thing good in this hotel from the room space and cleaning. The only issue is the limited staff for checking in rush hours that lead to taking a long time for check in process. I have experienced this issue but the manager compensate me for the delay in check in, even though the staffs were friendly and willing to serve. The breakfast is good with limited diversity in the menu, special thanks to Claudia for her service and kindness during the breakfast.

My stay with my family at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London in Mayfair was exceptional. The room was excellent, the location was perfect, and the service was absolutely outstanding. Breakfast at the JW steakhouse was a highlight, thanks to the fantastic service from our hostess, Oksana, our server, Kuh, and the manager, Orazio. They truly made our experience the best possible. Highly recommend!

As first timers to London, we had no idea what to expect. This hotel was chosen by our tour operator, Stephen Furgal, for our Wimbledon experience. This hotel and location didn’t disappoint. It’s across the street from Hyde Park and close to everything, shops and restaurants.

Luxurious hotel, great restaurant, centrally located, easy to walk places, pleasant, professional staff, well appointed rooms. Everything you want in a hotel…except the view from both my windows! See image below. Not just one window, but both had a view of the AC air handlers. Very disappointed, particularly, with the price point for that view. When I spoke with guest services they stated there were no available rooms for two days. By then, we’re well into our scheduled early morning excursions and would have had to change rooms extremely early or quite late in the day. The VIEW was my only disappointment.

Average stay at an overrated property. No bonvoy elite recognition whatsoever. There was NO cell service in my room. Plus the HVAC had a control on it which prevented me from making the room as cool as I'd like it. The exec loung was great with great staff. Front desk staff cold and not welcoming. The rooms are small and tired, with full mini-bars so no room in the fridge for food or snacks or to cool drinks of my own.

The staff don’t give an sh. I only experienced a few staff but that made my mind up that I wouldn’t waste my time going there again. You could ask a waiter for something ten times and they’d never apologize for making you ask ten times. Word of advice to waiters…clear the table first before trying to fit 2 pots of tea and 8 cups onto a small coffee table that already has 4 plates with knives and forks and unfinished food. WTH!!!?

It was a very nice hotel! The front desk staff was kind and spoke slowly to me, even though I am not good at English. Since I was a Platinum Elite member, I was able to use the lounge, and I was surprised at how delicious all the food was. We had time for afternoon tea and had some delicious scones. ⭐︎Good points The food in the lounge is delicious (the menu changes every day) All the staff are kind You can go pretty much anywhere on foot ⭐︎Points of concern A little far from the train station (bus stop is right in front) I would like to stay here when I go to London again.

The dessert was delicious. I ordered saffron creme brûlée. But something I didn’t like was the service of one waiter. To be fair the service was super good but when I asked for the bill, one of the waiter ignored my request and went to speak to other customers. I felt so disrespectful and I felt that’s was rude!

Great location by the Hyde Park. Until they stop hosting the annual, evil arms dealers & agenda driven MPs £250+ per head meal event, I won't step foot in there. Knowing that their blood business involves testing weapons on unarmed civilians in an open air concentration camp makes my stomach churn.

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹

As we were in London for Mum’s birthday to see Les Mis, I thought we’d stick to the French theme and treat her to lunch at L’Escargot. One of my better decisions! From the welcome when you arrive, to the beautifully classic decor, to the delicious food, it really is a special place. We started with the obligatory birthday bubbles and then moved on to the very reasonable prix fixe menu. Amazing French onion soup followed by perfectly cooked salmon for me, and Mum was very happy with her charcuterie plate and mushroom risotto. The service was impeccable and the icing on the cake was the complimentary plate of chocolate snails complete with birthday candle and handwritten postcard. I can see why it’s survived for so long. Will be back!

Noviembre 2024 • Parejas El domingo 18 de noviembre. Yo y mi marido había sido muy recomendable y como es muy raro que bajáramos a Londres para una cita en el hospital. Las galletas se veían increíbles y compré una caja de 15 , varios sabores, para que pudiéramos traer algunos a casa para la familia. Para cuando llegué a casa y la familia llegó. Todos estábamos decepcionados como el que era chocolate con leche y naranja. Había manchado los sabores de los otros 14. Así que no obtuvimos la mejor experiencia. Así que gasté 24 libras en galletas de naranja. Muy triste.
