Booked my fiancée birthday meal here for 6.30pm on 13th March. Confirmed text message from the restaurant. Got to the restaurant on the evening of the booking, to the restaurant to be shut with the shutters down. I was left with having to find elsewhere to go for a birthday meal at the last minute. I’ve had no contact from justinos to say anything has happened with the restaurant. I’ve messaged and called multiple times since this incident and I’m still yet to get a response. I’m awfully disappointed by this as this place was mine and my fiancée favourite Italian restaurant.

Food is good as always but the live music left my ears ringing. I couldn’t have a conversation with my family without shouting and we could barely hear each other . Singer was good but massive speaker is unnecessary and not very suitable for a small restaurant. While talking to some women in the bathroom they agreed that the music was too loud. We were sat towards the back of the restaurant, I couldn’t imagine being at the front under the speaker.

Live singer on Saturdays is not needed. Been to Justinos a few times but after this experience, I don’t think it’s worth the money at all. Live singer (was not needed in a restaurant) was extremely loud because of speaker, had to literally shout to my partner to have a conversation, also Artic Monkeys and Red Hot Chilli Peppers covers is not wanted down my ear whilst eating. We were unfortunately placed right in front of singer/speaker so asked waitress if we could be moved to a different table and this was ignored straight away. Waited over an hour for our food, almost drank a whole bottle of wine whilst waiting ! Very disappointed as we chose this for our valentines date but really gutted it wrecked our evening.

Amazingly good food for kids and adults. We got cheesy garlic break and bread and olives to begin with. There were only a few tiny sticks of bread with the olives so we ordered the garlic bread- both delicious. I had prawn linguine- the best I’ve had. Cut with a delicious amount of chilli and super juicy prawns. The kids spaghetti bol was really rich and delicious too, and a good serving that filled a 10 year old. It was good the way the kids servings are just mini adult dishes- not a nugget in sight. The only down side was they were struggling to serve- lots of tables were looking around to get service and I felt for the wait staff. The servers themselves were really good and friendly, just not enough of them. The quality of the food still meant I came away happy though. It’s not cheap (£20 a pasta dish), but you get what you pay for!

We go quite often And as ever the food was delightful and the service amazing cant believe they put up with 3 loud children who had a small disagreement broke a plate, and generally were not as well behaved as usual ! Joe the main man was lovely with the kids, and it's our favourite place, well done to the team there ! They never fail to deliver!

We booked a table for Sunday lunch for a small family group to celebrate a birthday. This review would be five stars were it not for the fact that we were unable to talk to each other owing to the over-loud music. I am grateful that a member of your staff, after we had booked, took the trouble to phone and explain that another party had arranged for live music during the meal. But we were assured that it would be reasonably quiet, and in the background. When we arrived we were disconcerted to discover that, although we were on the other side of the restaurant from the singer/musician, the amplification was turned up to a level which might have been acceptable for a late night party, but was intolerably high for this setting. We didn't think much of the quality of the singer either but that is a matter of opinion. The staff we spoke to were sympathetic and attempted to get the volume lowered, but without success. That was a great pity because otherwise the meal was excellent. The service was prompt and polite. We all had one version or other of the Sunday set lunch menu; the meat was tender, succulent, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables were plentiful, varied and interesting; some of us ordered an additional portion before seeing what was included, and realised there was no need. However we might have enjoyed a dessert if the ambience had allowed us to relax. I won't be put off from trying Justino's again but I would want reassurance that it would be more quiet. I would suggest that you review your policy about allowing live musicians unless the restaurant is exclusively booked for the use of one party

Wow! what a fantastic experience this was, we have been to Justinos numerous occasions and it never fails, the service and food is superb!! Joe the general manager always goes out his way on every occasion to make every experience a good one, what a fantastic guy he is, and great at recommending food choices from there menu!! Went for our wedding anniversary last night. Greeted by Joe who remembered we had booked the week before after popping in for tea. Restaurant was very busy, but service was fantastic. Food was unbelievable, fresh, presented well and tasted gorgeous. Excellent service and loved the music. Will be back.

Positives first; dishes had great flavours and well presented. The setting and decor is contemporary and pleasant. On this occasion, this experience was let down by the service; it wasn't a busy Sunday early evening service. Just too slow and lack of attention.

Celebration for my sister baby shower. Service was great, very friendly and helpful staff. There was 14 of us, all food came out together which was great. J had the 2 meat roast which did not disappoint, everything on it was nice and tastful, will definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends. Thank you

I think a rating of good rather than very good would be more accurate. But that is not an option. We received a friendly welcome and where directed to our pre-booked table. Six of us where put on what was 2 tables for two, so it was a bit cramped. Pretty quiet when we arrived and it did pick up but was never near full. Food was great with a good variety. The roast was a good touch and tasty. The desserts where all around £7 but cream or ice cream carried a £1 premium, which I think should be included. The final bill carried a 10% surcharge which I do not agree with but it equated to just over £10 which we would have left anyway so not worth the discussion.

Never been here before for Sunday roast, I got the chicken it tasted lovely, the wine gravy was nice too. The waitress was great too.

My friend and I booked a table on Sunday evening at Justino's which is a local restaurant located in Aigburth area. As we enter the front desk staff which was a polite guy asked us the details of the reservation. The restaurant were quite busy and we were shown our table. Unfortunately the other two girls on the floor weren't welcoming and for some unknown reason weren't happy at all. When we ordered our drinks and food and kindly thanked the staff, she didn't even answer. The food came on time and another guy served us professionally. Even though the food was good but we didn't get the feeling that we'd like to go back specially when the staff didn't reply to our thanks and goodnight while leaving. Overall Justin's isn't a fancy restaurant with welcoming staff but if you're only looking after to have a nice Italian cuisine, it'll be a right place for you! I hope the management consider employing more professional staff on the floor in the future.
