Just wing it in Southend-on-Sea

Honestly the worst wings I’ve had to date. Came cold, dry with the blandest of sauce on with barely any meat. Very disappointed

Food was missing items , driver refused to retrieve the rest off the food but the restaurant went out there way and hand delivered it ,driver should be sacked

We’ve used just wing it many many times before, tonight it just wasn’t the same food was luke warm chicken strips were small and not a lot of flavour and a long wait for delivery.

I drive for miles to come to this place for me and the misses and kids the place is always clean and the food is so good better than any chicken shop about the owner and workers so polite and have a laugh but most important is the food and I rate it 100/10 taste cooked properly and good choices anyone out there don’t hesitate go and try it your love it and I think I’ve been here over 50 times since they open and I cannot keep away keep up the good work

Always fantastic food, there's a lot of chicken places around southend/leigh but this is the best I've had. Ordered from them a few times and it's always been up to the same high standard, compared to a lot of places where the chicken is dried out everything here is very fresh and tasty. Portions are very generous and flavourful, great variety of sauces and options too. Highly recommended.

Food was really nice in flavour & quality but we ordered 2 portions of BBQ loaded potato tots & what we got was 1 portion of BBQ loaded fries & 1 portion of buffalo & blue cheese fries

I’m not sure what to recommend from here because everything we’ve tried has just been so good! There is so much flavour in the food and it’s always good quality. I think if I was to recommend one flavour it would be the garlic Parmesan

Thought I would give this place another try after world wide wings closed down (amazing place) and it was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever ordered on here. Terrible wings that had barely any meat on and tough as old boots, barely any spare sauce and a very very mild hint of buffalo. Mac and cheese awful.

Standards are slipping and portion sides have reduced a lot, especially with the dips, they are much smaller now

Disappointed with our last order forgot some of the order when we called was told we could come and collect it or have a refund not very good customer service. We couldn’t travel to pick up rest of order so we asked for refund…. Still waiting on that !’

The place was dead and depressed. The worker this afternoon didn’t want to help when asked question and disappeared to the other side of the shop on his chair and phone. When asked him something I’d seen on the tv screen advertised board said we don’t offer it but when I told him I want the option on the screen took my order. Didn’t £28 and I wish I didn’t with the disengagement received

Seems to have gone downhill. The meat on the wings seemed of poor quality and were grissly.. ended up throwing half of it away. Shame as I really used to rate this place.

The burger looked lovely. I did ask for it to be well done and it was pink, so I couldn’t eat it. Without knowing if it’s fresh steak mince pink burgers are quite dangerous.

I love this place and it’s always on time or early. I get the halloumi and falafel wrap often and it’s delicious but I find it quite dry. Would be nice to have some kind of sauce or hummus added or an option to add something at least :)

Had this delivered on a Saturday night, the food is so yummy !! And if came so fast, hats off to just wing it, defo recommend !!

Normally really tasty takeaway but I did find the chicken very overcooked this time!

Was disappointed this time round. Usually can’t fault just wing it however they have halved the size of their chicken strips. Other sides remained the same but couldn’t believe the difference compared to a few months ago.

Really nice burger and sweet potato fries. The only small grumble was it missing the bacon that should have been in the burger.. which was a shame for quite an expensive burger

Nachos were some of the nicest nachos we've ever had. Chicken wings were delicious too, really meaty.

The loaded fries were delicious. Chicken (we tried two different kinds) was tasty. Original delivery time was amended, but only slightly and they kept us updated. Would definitely order again.

i love the food here but it’s really expensive. the wings are good size and coated in lots of sauce, the buffalo wings are lovely but this time i had garlic parmesan and it was a bit bland. the loaded fries are always amazing always coated in lots of sauce big portion too. i got the buffalo loaded fries was a bit disappointing that the buffalo sauce wasn’t spicy at all but tasted amazing nonetheless. mac and cheese was a bit disappointing but mozzarella sticks are huge and delicious.

I’ve ordered the chicken bun loads of times and think it’s great. This one was considerably worse than any I’ve had before. There was no tomato, and the chicken was a flat thin schnitzel, not even close to chicken breast. Luckily I had vouchers as it was nowhere near worth £14

Genuinely amazing. Buffalo sauce wasn’t too hot, cheese wasn’t overpowering and chives on top, perfection. Asked for five strips and got 7 anyway. Beautiful food, will be ordering again

This place is amazing, had problems with deliveroo and they went all out to help us and make sure we still had our food, we order from here most weeks and the food is always great! Couldn’t recommend enough

First time getting food from here and very very impressed 12 wings (4 in 3 diff flavours… BBQ, honey & sesame, garlic & Parmesan) and they’re HUGE! So big kept 4 for lunch tomorrow You get the wing and the drum intact unlike some other wing shops where it’s one or the other Top class wings 👌🏻 Double patty burger was massive and delicious Mac and cheese very nice, my only criticism is it could of done with more seasoning Will definitely return 👏🏻

Wings and nachos were good, bites and strips had unfortunately had gone a bit soggy. Delivery driver took a detour 20mins in the wrong direction before passing the restaurant again and delivery to us so not ideal.

When wing it opened the food was excellent. Chicken tender and the flavours were great, chips, mozzarella sticks everything was delicious. I’ve seen a steady decline over the past year where the chicken is tough and the coating soggy. The chips over cooked and tepid. Everything this evening was awful. I am so disappointed to receive such awful quality from this restaurant. The excellent rating is undeserved. Awful

The food would have been nice if it wasn’t cold. Unfortunately although the driver told me as he delivered that he got lost, I was tracking and watched him sit at harvester for 10 minutes. So less lost more trying to do more jobs and therefore allowing my food to go cold. :(

I love this place, myself and my partner really enjoy the food, good size portions, really delicious and well cooked food and all in good delivery time! Slightly expensive however it is worth the money for what you get ! All round thumbs up!

Absolutely ridiculous, driver left the restaurant at 20:28 and I live 10 minutes down the road. He drove past my flat at around 20:30 and kept driving. He then called me at 20:59 asking for directions to my flat to which I told him I would not be accepting cold food and to take it back to the restaurant. He fully understood what I was saying but proceeded to call me another 2 times trying to deliver the food. Ridiculous service, never experienced this with just wing it before but I won’t be ordering from here again after this.

This is a great spot, the wings are delicious, the motherclucker burger is awesome, the falafel wrap with haloumi is fantastic. Wednesdays are free wings day. Staff are tops always friendly and laughing.

Honestly the blandest thing I have ever eaten, I never leave reviews but I had to with this. Not only was my brioche bun burnt (that I could look past but the crust of the chicken and the chicken itself tasted like absolutely nothing. I also ordered mozzarella sticks which had absolutely no flavour. I know it's a mild taste anyway but the sauce it came with literally tasted like a mashed up tomato covering the top of it. This is honestly a massive disappointment especially considering it's cost £17 for a burger and mozzarella sticks which were so bland they were pretty much inedible. My boyfriend also ordered the honey and sesame strips and barely ate anything because they tasted of nothing. Not even seasoned with salt, very disappointed.

Some of the least flavoursome food I’ve ever had. I ordered the honey and sesame chicken strips, and my partner ordered some mozzarella sticks. All of it tastes bland. The chicken itself tastes bland, the way it was fried tastes bland. The sauce going with it was alright, but there was so little of it that you couldn’t overpower how bland everything else was. It tastes like they don’t use any seasoning at all when cooking, plain chicken, plain batter, no hint of anything else. The mozzarella sticks were massive, which I’d usually welcome, but again the batter around it was plain and the sauce was too. This was some of the worst food I have ordered. The delivery time was fine, but for the cost of how awful the food was, it really wasn’t worth it. I wish I cooked instead.
