Exceptional food. Great portions Great service

Halal + friendly people + delicious tender meat that falls off the bone! Got the platter which had a nice selection of meats and sides. Would definitely go again if I was near here...not far from the watersports centre.

Fri 28/06/24 -The food was great especially the short rib- its melts and is very tender. (Five stars) -Service was good, I accidentally spilled a drink and employees cleaned it up with no fuss. - I git serviced cold wing with the 2 people platter and when i told the staff, they came back with 6 piping hot wings to rectify the cold ones. 👍🏾 -On the other hand i ordered the new york cheese cake to go but it was mouldy (mould not in visible in photo). - the interior of the restaurant could be bigger but not bad and the toilet was very clean.

Fantastic treat for Fathers day. Children and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Shared the meat platter for 2 with the Mrs and couldnt believe how soft and tender the beef and lamb was - great portion size too and ended up taking left overs home.

I’ve been going to this place since it opened and it’s fantastic. I love the smoked brisket burger most but they’re all great, and the chips are lovely. I have also had the share platter and that was really good too. I will say it’s changed a bit now though, the portion sizes aren’t the same, you used to get chips in their own box when you’d buy the meal but now they’re put in the same sized box with the burger etc so you don’t get as much. You used to also get the option of having the coleslaw, jalapeños and pickles in separate containers instead of on the burgers but now it’s either you have them on the burger or you just don’t get them as they don’t allow the separate option anymore, but you’re still paying the same.

I keep driving past this place and thought I’d give it a go as it smells awesome. To be honest I’m a little disappointed. I found the staff stuck up and very little humour and not very helpful. I gained the impression they just Wana take your money. Hospitality is key in any business whether you’re serving food from a mobile trailer or in an 3 star Michellin restaurant. I ordered the brisket burger and BBQ wings. Total spend £15 quid. I cannot fault the taste it was delicious however the brisket portion was an absolute Joke! For a £10 pound brisket burger you’d expect to see a wad of meat in your bun! I’ve attached a photo you be the judge. It’s annoying as theres much better places in town especially in Camden where you get more for your money! Unless you’re really curious and absolutely hungry then don’t waste your money!

This place is a hidden gem! Food was ridiculously good, must say I did not expect it but was pleasantly surprised, much better than smokeshed in Hoddesdon. The burnt ends were unreal and the brisket was some of softest and tender I’ve had in the UK. Keep up the good work guys.

Food is banging. I got the £40 platter and was very pleased.

Burger was okay, too much coleslaw. I had dead flies in my chips, that was a disappointment. The brisket was extremely fatty but other than that, the lean part was delicious. I love that it’s halal and portion is decent though. I do recommend people to go and try it.

Omg what an amazing food place, everything in this place tastes amazing and there wasn't enough time to take any pictures since we were so hungry. The chef Sabri was an amazing chef, he was cooking our platters and burgers in an amazing and tasty ways and just how we liked it. If you ever come to this place make sure you ask for Chef Sabri. Everyone else was very welcoming, especially Mohamed was very patient with us when he was taking our orders

Dry aged cheeseburger is the best ever! I do quite like the other things i have tried so far! You should try Chilly cheesy bites & sauted potato and pastrami too! We are quite regular there and everytime i go there always same& always delicious! Staff is friendly too!

One of the places to eat meat. Everything really tasted. The food was very quick. Plenty of food for us we were full and had some food to take home. £110 for 4 people was a good price for the quality and the service. It was the first time we visited and we will visit again soon.

We absolutely loved our food here. The meat was cooked to perfection, everything was tender and moist. It's very laid back, and the demographic is mixed, everyone is made to feel welcome. It's not in the nicest area, sitting just at the edge of the Holdbrook Estate, but you can overlook that when the meat is this good. Definitely somewhere we'll return to. You'll need to be patient when looking for a place to park.

Top notch food and service, I can't fault the food in this restaurant. I've eaten in and taken away from here, each every time I must say the food has been the point.

Listen, I ate there a few times being naive thinking it’s authentically halal but after a little digging.. I’m not sure it is. They’re not sure it is. They don’t know if they’re actually halal !! They “say it” but anybody can.. so I stopped eating there a while back. If it’s certified halal board approved meat then that would obviously be different. As for those who wants a food review.. it’s decent. It’s certainly not American smoke house type (if there are those who think it might be) with apple wood or cherry wood etc tastes with delicate deep Smokey flavours but more like straight BIG-K charcoal smoke taste. And extremely big-K tasting it is… when it isn’t busy you can expect your food to have a better temperature but when it was busy my meats were served tepid (around room temp) Like I said.. it was decent on all visits but that unsureness of being truly halal is a big no no for me. There is no hate to the restaurant but I simply can not let my Muslims brethren be deceived.

Way to cheap for the quality of meat . Them donnies who do the smoking/bbqueing them mandem are meat engineers. Ain't gonna lie , rather than spent 4 hours bbqueing this summer , I'mma just gonna drive 1hr 30min from my house and let the experts feed me. Might even fast for a whole week, because you wanna eat all of it fresh!! The audacity to send cremated wings shows how little they care about their customers… we’ve been regular customers from the day they opened but this place has gone downhill so much, used to be one of our favourite takeaways and we would order once a week but now every time I try to give it another chance they’re worse than the last time so we will not be ordering again. The food is either undercooked or overcooked. Or simply burnt as you can see from the photos. Used to be have a fresh taste to it and now it’s definitely giving precooked and then reheated hence why it’s so dry. Not worth the price or the food poisoning.

I’ve been coming to this place all the way from east London travelling around 45mins each way from its beginning times….I was sitting in this shop while No one was in there on many occasions when they opened. You may be busy now but respect and treat your customers fairly and professionally especially those that have been there from the start…in other words remember your humble beginnings! Today I was spoken to rudely in front of everyone! It’s not nice…especially knowing I’ve been a customer from your opening day!

Strange one this. I had burnt ends and slaw. The first few bites of the burnt ends were phenomenal and then after a few mouthfuls the meat left a slightly weird stale taste lingering in the mouth.

Very nice food. Has nice flavour, doesn't just taste like meat. I've tried a few American style BBQS, this place is best so far. There were 7 of us, everyone enjoyed the food. We had the platters. Portions were just right. Not overpriced like other places I've been too. The service was excellent. The Owner is very welcoming and friendly. The only thing I would say is, I hope they can increase the seating capacity. Highly recommend it. Will definitely be back soon. Must try the burgers on next visit. Keep up the good work!

Delicious and succulent smoked meats and chicken. One of the best bbq restaurants I have ever been to. Hamburgers are also delicious with good quality bread and juicy meat. Highly recommend!

Good food, a bit expensive, personally expecting bigger portion sizes. Brisket was quite dry and flavourless.

The food is great, the meat just falls off the bone, the lamb chops were extremely soft. Everything was flavoursome. Service is quick and kind. Presentation of food is wonderful. Mocktail and smoothie were lovely. As unusual and different setting. The platter for two could have served 3 of us. Really impressed. Will try burgers next time.

Hard to find a eat in for BBQ and brisket. This place definitely hit the spot! Very good selection of food which tasted great, not the absolute best I've had but for that money it's definitely good value and worth a try. My personal favourite was them sausages good flavour. Got a mixed platter with friends and can say we all left with a ssmile on our face and belly full of tasty food. Parking not so great ended parking ona double yellow at night so didn't really care much.

15 out of 10. Exceptional food and service. The homemade garlic sauce for the wings is one of the best I've ever tasted. Quality of the meat was incredible and the prices were so reasonable I actually thought there was a mistake on the bill. Thanks so much, will be returning asap! **review update *** In light of the recent atrocity in Palestine, I believe establishments should do their part as best as possible, this is not out of reach, as I have visited many restaurants who have stopped selling coca cola or aus beverages which have been boycotted, so is totally do able. I urge the establishment to reconsider other drink options such as Barr or Karama. The staff response was not acceptable to be honest. Once this changes, I will be happy to change the review back! As long as we all try to do our part to help with the boycott. Peace all Great little spot! booking would be recommended as inside is very small. Food is on point, quality and quantity. Came out really fast. Ordered the family platter for 4 which was more then enough. The burnt ends are something else! Would highly recommend!

In light of recent global events around Palestine, I believe it's crucial for businesses to embrace inclusivity. I encourage this smokehouse to consider offering alternative carbonated beverage options beyond Coca-Cola. During my visit, staff responses regarding this matter left me unsatisfied. Lets all do our bit. ************ Some great meats on the family platter. Food comes out relatively quick. All the meats are cooked fresh. All the sides are cooked from frozen. Overall you go for the meats and they didn't disappoint. I didn't get to try the burgers but they did look good on other tables. Small seating area so I recommend to book first. Not really a first date spot, but place is quite basic. But if you enjoy meats go for it. Parking was in the side roads. If you live local, you can buy your meats of their butchers and they will cook it for you for a decent price. The kitchen is outside on the street and the dining is indoors. We paid £33pp splitting platter, lots of sides, drinks and 1 other main.

Ribs were really nice but the chicken wings were the star. Think I'll have them as a main next time. A friend had the heart attack burger which was huge and juicy which he enjoyed.

10/10 quick and cooked to perfection, if you eat in a lot cheaper than Uber eats and experience is x10 better as it goes form grill to plate.

I have been waiting to try this place for a long time and finally had the time to make the trip. So, the order. I wanted treat myself and sample as much of the meat as I could and so ordered the burnt ends, cheeseburger, rib burger, sausage, accompanied with chips, coleslaw, additional gherkins, jalapenos, barbecue, and mustard (I did over do it 🤣). The place was setup nicely in a good truck the service was efficient and friendly, I ordered on the phone for collection and everything was ready when I got there. When I got home (I live 40 mins away) after a quick reheat it was all ready. Starting with the burnt ends the meat was super soft and melted in the mouth. The taste was sweet and went really well with the tangy mustard. The sausage was smoked well and had a slightly spicy flavour that was perfect no sauce needed. The burgers, firstly the cheese burger overall it was nice it had cheese, gherkins and juicy burger that in my opinion could have more flavour, but that's my personal preference. The rib burger was amazingly indulgent, soft meat that was so moreish, again the flavour complemented by the sauces and chillis well worth a try. Overall, this place is a must and definitely worth the trip. The overall portion sizes are substantial and these guys definitely know what they are doing.

Awesome food which to date we cannot fault!

Great food but, as the name suggests, very meat orientated. That said, the coleslaw was nice and the sautéed potatoes were really very good. I got the tomahawk which I doubted I'd be able to finish but it was so tender and nice I could have easily eaten the whole thing. I've given an atmosphere rating of 4 because the set-up is a food van outside with a small seating area in a building opposite. That means service requires the front door to be opened to bring food, dishes etc. back and forth from the van. Not too nice in the cold winter. However, the room itself was nice and toasty as long as the door was closed. The seats (plastic/metal) and tables are also humble so not for everyone.

Food looked the business but the temperature on the meats was not hot enough to enjoy it more. Could be that I went bit later on the day closer to their closing time and meant that the food wasn't cooked fresh from the pit. Food was served with lightning speed and that kind of set the expectation food may not be freshly cooked. The loaded burger which consisted of most meat cuts in it was lovely. The fries are really nice. It's a small homely place with limited free parking which I need to drive upto local side roads and locate. If I was to visit again I would go for the loaded burger meal and not the platter again which was unfortunately a little dry and cold for my liking.
