Popped in for lunch and loved it. I have food allergies but there were still so many choices on the menu. They have a full allergy matrix to check each dish. Amazing! The food was hot, delicious and filling. The service was fantastic. Would definitely visit again.

I arranged a suprise 40th birthday meal/party for my husband. We hired the newly decorated party room upstairs which is beautifully done to a high standard, the food was excellent and there was plenty of it to go around the 60 guests. Service was fantastic and the Manager was extremely helpful and communicated with me for a few month to ensure it went smoothly. I couldnt recommend it high enough. Thank you to the manager and team who looked after us last night, you were brilliant 🌟

Ordered delivery tonight half the food was missing and then the other half of the order was wrong, our daughter is allergic to peppers so requested no peppers and even called to re literate this and and still sent with peppers my husband called to complain and told that this was not their fault but Deliveroo when my husband went on to say half the delivery was missing and that we requested you leave out items our daughter is allergic to and even called you to verify this, after been extremely rude with no care at all they put the phone down on him. Avoid at all costs!!! Especially if you have allergies we won’t be ordering again and as business owners ourselves will be recommending others steer clear too. Lady was having a stressed day messed up drinks two times after having explicitly told her what we wanted . Said she’s have a stressed day . :( very disappointed

When asking the staff for recommendations not one of them could as they stated they didn’t eat there!! Very disappointed with the food for how much it cost very over prices for what it is! The meat wasn’t the best!! I know the guy stated the main comes right after the starter I didn’t release they would come out why still eating the starter we felt very rushed!! We felt it was expensive and not very enjoyable food or experience sorry to say!!

Wouldn’t go back, no table service. Starter came out a minute after it was ordered, main tasted like it had been defrosted and microwaved. The chicken from the starter was the same chicken used in a curry dish for the main.

Great music and atmosphere, friendly and on-it team of staff who made sure we knew what we were doing, and always had smiles on their faces. The food was incredible! Everything was fresh, you could taste the time/attention put into this food, from the presentation, to the taste of the marinade seeping through the lamb, the chicken being soft and juicy to the little flowers to add a cute, very sweet touch to each dish. An absolute favourite, will be returning and recommending highly!

The food was absolutely to die for and a lot cheaper than expected it to be. The place is decorated beautifully. Only downfalls that I have it there was no alcohol available. It does say to bring your own but I did think you'd be able to order it as well

Came in for a drink, felt uncomfortable as we was stared at while choosing and the girl at the till also put 5% service charge on our drinks without asking or even telling us. So we paid £5.20 for one drink never again!

As a family of six, we recently visited a restaurant with high expectations. However, our experience was disappointing as we found the food to be quite bland and lacking in taste. Despite ordering a variety of dishes, we were disappointed to find that they did not live up to our expectations. Furthermore, we found the prices to be quite high for the quality of food being served. Even the masala fries that we ordered were a let down, as they were simply regular fries with some spicy salt sprinkled on top. Overall, we were not impressed with our dining experience and would not recommend this restaurant. It was not a good value for money and we would not consider returning.

I like this place but honestly you're trying to do too much and falling short. Ate here a few times now last time being Friday. You're menu is far too varied for how quickly you push dishes out and I'd reccomend you narrow it down. Firstly the 'vietnamese bao' buns left a lot to be desired. Whilst the bao buns were nice and soft (aka warmed up well) and the pickle was nice it was a crime to call them vietnamese. The chicken tasted more like chicken tikka and was so dry, nothing like you get in Vietnam and there were no sauces to compliment it (siracha, soy bean or others). The jerk chicken was also very dry, not much of a fruity taste, not enough thyme and no hint of scotch bonnet. Also if you're going to serve jerk chicken you need some sides to go with it (rice and peas or dumplings) massala fries didn't quite cut it. Korean noodles however were very nice. I just think you're a bit in limbo between wanting to be tapas style place but also trying to cater to too many styles.

The food is delicious and offers great value for money, with the added bonus of being able to bring your own alcohol. If you're in Lichfield, this spot is a must-visit. I can't wait to return for another fantastic meal.

Hadn't read any reviews, walked in off the street. Decided to go in because of the wide range of food, which seemed very reasonably priced. My wife had the Gorilla Burger and I had the Quesadilla. The burger was big, that big my wife had to share it 😁 and it was delicious. I had the Quesadilla, which filled the plate and was delicious too. Little Dog was also allowed in. Prompt, friendly service and very good value. Will definitely be returning

This restaurant was visited by my partner and I a couple of days ago on Saturday following a festival we attended in Lichfield. The vibe here is so nice, and I love how unique the decorations are, the pops of colours, the animal print decorations and the sculptures really add to the theming and I'd say this place is extremely underrated. It's so vibrant yet cozy -- The staff in here are absolutely lovely, it was my second time visiting as the first time was with my mother and each time they were really sweet and they accommodate well to different diets too (My mum who I visited with the first time is a vegetarian, I am a vegan and my partner who I visited with this time round eats meat so I have seen the range they can cater too) aside from a lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff this restaurant also has delicious food, I like the fact that the menu offers food from a good variety of different cuisines as it means that there is something for everyone. I'd recommend the Okra Greens as the crunchy texture of the Okra and the soft bread with the tangy sauce pair really well and my partner enjoyed his noodles too (I don't remember the exact dish but they were chicken noodles) I'd also reccomended the vegan platter which is what I ate on my first visit with my mother as you get a really large amount for what you pay, I'd say it could easily feed 3-4 people. Not only is everything tasty but also the service is really fast so it's an ideal spot to go if you're hungry or with an impatient eater - thank you again for the staff for making our visit even more lovely ^-^ (Photos attached are from the first visit as the recent one my partner and I just got straight into the food lol)

Poor quality food, with little taste. Food came out (5 dishes) in 10 minutes which could either mean a really quick service but more likely pre-made. The lava lava starter had no jalapeños or cheese, just mashed potatoes. All in all very expensive for the quality and flavour

The restaurant itself is a nice. Good layout, spacious. It was very promising. The service was swift, but I suspect that's because the food is pre-prepared for speed, which was evident from the quality. The "Monkey bites" were dry and overcooked pieces of chicken on a few pieces of sad salad leaves. The gyros were soggy pittas filled with chips and a few pieces of lamb that was more gristle than meat. There was barely any greenery in/with it nor dressings. The "offer" of 2 courses for £20 in large parties was, I found out, only valid if everyone in the party opted in, so if one person has only one course, everyone pays full price for 2 courses, which is ridiculous. Really disappointed.

JSK is everything you could possibly want in a restaurant: it’s fun, friendly, has super fast service and the food is amazing!! Visited most recently this weekend for my birthday and as always had a lovely time. The food and drinks menus are extensive and there are always new options being added to the menu for us to try! I now live in Nottingham but have to come back to get my JSK fix every few months or so lol. Thank you to all the wonderful team (in particular Abid and Mustafa who have provided fantastic service right through since opening 3 years ago) who make every visit as special as the last!!

Got the ready text from Just Eat 7 minutes before the advertised collection time. It was plenty warm enough when I began eating, although we do live 2 minute drive away. Food was great, although the hash brown in the burger was a bit redundant with the fries as well.

Very poor all round especially an unpleasant service from Mustafa he should find another occupation that isn’t customer faced. Overall garbage experience, save your money and go elsewhere

Me and my kids really like this place. It's got a nice atmosphere, chilled and casual. Food is good, but feel like it could be better. Need to work on the execution of dishes. Service has been very good every time I have visited. Efficient and friendly. Would recommend coming here for a casual bite to eat with kids, or if you need to grab something whilst out shopping. It's in a pretty central location to the town.

Used this place to eat on several occasions in the past and found the food good, on my last visit I found different people at the till and different chef's cooking the food, food was not up to its previous standards, steak had a lot of grizzle in and the mashed potato was cold, the other dishes were in my opinion bland compared to previous, waiting staff were very pleasant as always, but found the staffs attitude behind the till patronising towards my wife, saying that she had ordered a wrong dish when she hadent, they were just not listening, basicaly calling her a liar. Found the food overpriced for what it was, and be warned there is a service charge on top. Had it been at the standard it used to be, it would have been worth it. They have lost my custom, and I will not be returning

Attended my friends birthday party and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and quick. Deffo recommend and all halal too.

We tried JSK last night for a celebration meal, very impressed, reviews don't do it justice, it's a different approach where you order at counter and food comes out when ready, which I prefer as fresh and hot, Staff friendly, we brought own drinks, they provided plenty of glassware, food was great tasting lots of flavours, lots of variety, will be returning to try more from the menu.

I found a black hair in my meal. My replacement meal came within 3 minutes meaning it’s clearly not fresh .

I had the Brazilian steak...a quarter of it was pure fat! I sent only those pieces back for potentially just then pieces to be replaced only to hear the chef arguing with the waiter Joe basically stating he would not be replacing it!!! We and everyone in the restaurant could hear the chef and his unprofessional tantrum.So I paid for a steak and got half fat! Joe however was extremely lovely and understanding and his customer service was 100%. He is an asset to your restaurant and of it wasn't for him I would be putting in an official complaint. Thank you Joe!!!

If I could you this a -10 I would. This is the most unprofessional and uncomfortable experience I have ever been too. Being in a group aged over 40 we expected to have a nice calm evening. That wasn’t the case! It was like being in a youth club with drunk kids. We asked for a solution and all they did was throw our food in bags ripped and chucked it outside. Never have I ever been treated like that especially when they took our money! I’ll never go again and tell all of my family and friend. I urged you not to too.

If there’s not anything you like on this menu, then don’t go outdoors! We love it here

Food arrived quickly and hot. Service was pleasant and the server checked to see if it was ok. You pay as you order at the counter so I’m not sure why there is an automatic service charge of 5% added to your bill. It is discretionary and you can ask for it to be removed, but you have to remember to ask as it soon disappears from the screen in front of you. As for the food it was ok, but not that special. I had the paella biryani, which is just rice and chicken with a few salad leaves. There’s a spot of bbq sauce on the side, but not the traditional accompaniment of a curry sauce. It was very dry. For dessert I ordered the waffle, which according to the picture on the table was 2 waffles, a selection of berries and a scoop of ice cream. What arrive was a single waffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some sprinkles. When I asked about the berries I got given 3 strawberries, which were hard and tasteless. Not good value for money @ £5. Style over substance I think. Has I been on my own I would have complained, but I was with friends celebrating a birthday so decided to stay quiet.

Lamb tacos and fries with a side of tempura,extremely tasty. Was it a little over priced? It’s a convenient town centre restaurant,that combined with good swift service and tasty food. No complaints here,would I visit again yes

The place was busy, lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately the share plate of seafood which I shared with 1 other were OK, plenty of food, but all coated in the same batter with the same taste which became a bit too much. May try again with another dish, but the people I was with did not have a share plate and found their dishes tasty but too small. So for the price was quite disappointing as is wasn't cheap.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Welcoming friendly staff. Drinks served quickly so that was great. I had a thai green curry but was a bit surprised how bright green it was. It tasted ok but I couldn't tell the green peppers from the chicken as the chicken was bright green also. My friend joked it looked radioactive! I don't know what colouring they used but when I've had thai green curry before, either cooked myself or at other places it's a pale green creamy coconut type sauce - light green due to green chillis. My friend had salmon and potatoes, however was told you get 2 potatoes only - the small new potato variety - so we had to pay for a dish of rice as well as it wasn't actually a meal. Her husband loved his butter chicken - think I'd have that next time if I go again.

Wonderful food and very fast service only slight criticism would be clearing of the tables before others finished food and felt abit watched by staff whilst eating felt slightly pressured but will definitely return it is a lovely place

Greasy overpriced food. although there are plenty of vegan options available, the vegan food that we receive was greasy & bland. Mg boyfriend ordered the fajita sub which came with greasy, soggy chips. An overall disappointing experience which is a shame as our first visit was pleasant. Won’t be returning

We love your food and service. Only 1 piece of constructive criticism guys. Tonight you changed your amazing green sauce on our meals to a mint dip. Ruined our meal as neither of us like mint. Please don't substitute this kind of dressing without advertising the changes 1st. Otherwise always been a culinary delight.

We visited JSK today as a party of 15. The food order was placed at the counter and all meals arrived promptly and beautifully presented. Such a pleasure to go out for a meal as big group and no hiccups. The menu is extensive and everyone enjoyed their meal. We recommend trying this restaurant. We will definitely be back. This was our fourth visit and have enjoyed the novelty of the menu on most occasions but the last visit for me was very disappointing. We shared a tempura mix starter, nice but burnt, I then chose the gorilla burger, the bun was badly burnt and the content very dry giving a strong impression that the fish chicken and lamb was cooked hours prior to serving. In fact most food is served quickly, too quickly for fresh cooking. We like the concept and will visit again hoping the food is better. Service and atmosphere is good prices reasonable.

We usually really enjoy our order from JSK and 3 of our meals were absolutely delicious but my partner absolutely loves the Zulu chops that are served with potatoes and salsa but unfortunately this time the potatoes and salsa was missing. So he ended up just having lamb chops and he was so disappointed as this is his usually his favourite dish.

Food generally very good and staff are friendly but have to order at the till and if they run out of something you have to go back to your table

The lamb chops that were included in the Carnivore Platter were raw and had to be sent back. The staff accommodated the situation by replacing the lamb chops. To avoid raw meat again, we had requested the chops to be ‘well done’. The replacement chops were also raw. As a result, I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Very disappointed. Not only was it late but it was cold and dry. Not again!

A bitterly disappointing experience after reading such amazing reviews. Take your own drinks, no problem, but you have to ask for a glass, nobody offers? You have to order your food at the counter, not conducive of a nice dining out experience but OK, got past that. Starters - chicken bites - they were actually Pork. I like pork, luckily I don’t have any allergies though. Waitress didn’t check back on starters to ask if everything was OK. Mains came out before empty starter plates were cleared. Mains were lukewarm at best and the jerk chicken was so dry it was a choking hazard. My husbands multi layered burger was 80% bread, not a lot of meat at all. Again waitress didn’t check back on mains. 5% service charge being added to your bill in advance is audacious considering the only service involved was removing dirty plates from the table and not even in a timely fashion. Masala chips were the only enjoyable thing about the place unfortunately.

Always great food and a very varied menu. Had nothing but great food whatever we've chosen.

Came here this evening to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday, there was 17 of us, and wow what an little gem 💎. Staff are a huge credit to this place, and food is amazing, thank you to all the cooks and the young man serving too. The young lady even took me to tesco for candles as I didn't know where it was, so thank you all, my family had an absolutely fantastic evening. See you again soon xx
