Top value after 5pm. Great rides for kids. Get the annual pass if you have young grandchildren visiting you in SOS. Great Value but price of annual pass seems to have gone up a lot!!

Great for older kids and young teens, but charging £35 for a 2 & 4 year-old feels like a complete rip-off. They’re too small to go on most of the rides, so it’s hard to justify the price. A fairer system would be to charge more for kids who meet the ride height restrictions and a reduced fee for younger children who can’t enjoy the full experience

We purchased your membership pass on the special offer you have been running. We visited and was there for 10 hours! The kids had an amazing time, it's was great that the rides are accessible to children of all ages. Only thing I would say is we went to the chips and dips counter and asked for chips with nacho cheese, was told they didn't have that so asked for it with grated cheese and was told they didn't have that, then asked for it with chilli and was told they didn't have that. If the stock is that low it should be either mentioned before ordering or have a sign up. All that was available was gravy and curry sauce although the people in the queue before us had cheese and chilli and then people in the queue after us we noticed had the nacho cheese etc, so not sure why it wasn't available to us!

I loved this place, although it was small it was very enjoyable, the rides were very fun and I didn't want to leave. The gift shop wasn't the best but that makes up for all of the rides and the food stands tasted amazing. Would 100% recommend!

Free entry. No dogs (except service animals), no smoking. Can take you own food and drink. Rides for all ages. Food and drinks - standard amusement park fare. Arcade/games. Went during UK school holidays, it was busy but queues moved fairly quickly. Those with young kids did queue for some time for a Bluey attraction.

Kids had a lot of fun. Very reasonably priced tickets. Never waited more than 15mins for a ride even though it was a warm sunny easter day. Friendly staff. The arcade was very good value as well. Games cost 50p and we are used to £1 or £2 prices elsewhere for the same games. Will return and highly recommended!

Queued up for about 45/60minutes for the devils dance aka the claw.. we came on took around 10 minutes for the staff to even start the ride they didn’t know whether to risk letting another passenger on for the weight to be even or just let it go and “risk it” for the ride to then malfunction whilst we were upside down and we all got turfed off and got told if we wanted to come back on to go and queue. It’s ridiculous the waiting times compared to other theme parks which are much bigger and queues are much larger and still getting on quicker than adventure island.. the staff take too long to get people on, safety checks etc.. the only ride I can actually say have it under control is the rage, on and off super fast everyone’s happy, checks are quick and your off for the thrill. Definitely can do much better.

The staff were amazing and those two girls that need a pay rise: Keira I Think her name was Josie, but it was the lady on Wednesday the ninth of april on the ramba zamba at seven fifty pm. her attitude was iconic

We'll be back soon with another duck.

A lot of rides to enjoy with a low amount of tickets. The entry is free. There are rides for every age of group people. Restaurants like fish and chips, ice cream parlour, drinks, etc. The weekend is not that crowded during the afternoon. Enjoy the sea view while taking a ride. Lovely town to visit.

Fun Place to go for the family especially when it's sunny. Wrist band are worth it if you go on more than 6 rides but buy in advance to save an extra tenner £25 online and £35 on the door .

Good place to bring family for fun time.

It's not anything like Thorpe Park. However, it was amazing in it's own way. Evey thing was clean, hygienic and fun. One particular ride that had my eyes pop out of my head was the Rage. Thrilling and insane, it made a normal day into a masterpiece. This experience blew my mind and I can't wait to go again.

I love free admission parks like this. The staff are so genuinely happy to be there and they do their jobs really well.

Very disappointed they let you buy ride tickets 5 mins before telling you they are closing , not the cashiers but staff walking about after your stood in a 25 min que or just paid 🤔

The annual tickets represent great value for the kids. Staff are welcoming and create a welcome atmosphere. On previous visits, I was perturbed by an effigy of Nigel Farage, especially as he represents such awful (IMO) divisive right-wing views, not in keeping with a child friendly family venue. However, I was pleased to see this has now been removed, but worry, it might allude to the owners political stance... not something I want to support.

I went to Adventure Island today with my Son and 3 Grandsons. Although the sun was shining I wasn't keen because it was so cold. However when I got there I was so pleased I made the effort. We had an amazing time. Couldn't fault it. The Staff were so good with the children, making the experience and absolute joy. I also noticed how clean the site was, no litter and spotlessly clean toilets as well. The boys want to go back tomorrow, as they had such a brilliant time.😀.So we bought a yearly pass! Well done to you all. Id thoroughly recommend this place.

Spent whole day here and still didn't get on everything. Plenty of options, reasonable queue times and short distance between rides, really get value for money and maximum entertainment for kids. Wasnt too busy during half term week either. Longest queue was for the wristbands. Includes large indoor arcade area to warm up on colder days and reasonable fast food options including kids meal prices. Would be fab if more rides could have photo opportunity to make digital pass worth it or some sort of selfie area to get some family pics done with green screen. The rides are good quality and the staff are really friendly. It costs the same for a couple of rides at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland as a day pass here. Great day had by all and we snapped up an annual pass in the flash sale (£40pp!) . Will be visiting again soon. Nearby parking is pricey though but we didn't research properly. Probably plenty of options a short walk away.

Had a good day at Adventure land. Kids under 120cms need to be accompanied by an adult , so their ride is free. Staff is friendly. We went to a restaurant in there, food was not great and food items very overpriced. Rest good

Nice place to take the kids and family

Great value for money. It is tricky for single parents with smaller kids as you need an accompanying adult Per child (including on smaller rides where it would be possible to have 2 kids and 1 adult). Staff is really friendly and professional. Queuing system for the wristband (especially when you have a subscription and just need the wristband printed) can be frustrating as it’s not a single queue with the top going to the next available booth. You just pick a queue and hope for the best.

At the end of a busy day on the rides, this was a perfect place for some dinner. The waitress was so lovely and welcoming and the food was super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend a visit if in Southend. Located opposite peer entrance.

Best theme park in the world! No entry fee, very short or zero waiting times. Rage is the best.

Lovely place to visit. It is situated on Southend on Sea. We went to Adventure Island to celebrate our Son's 16th Birthday in March. First we went for the Train Ride on the pier and that was a great experience. Then we went to Adventure Island for rides and lots other things to do 😃. Great place for all age groups. We booked the tickets for Adventure Island in advance and that costs pound 25 per person ( otherwise it will cost pound 35 on gate). Lovely place with Sea, rides, games, food, shopping on high street ect. We will definitely visit again 😃

Fantastic place with rides suitable for young children through to adults. We have annual passes and have been multiple times so a very worthwhile investment. Buying tickets in advance you might get a deal, but you can just pick up tickets when you get there

Adventure island is a really good place with amazing rides, Amazing Staff that will keep you safe and secured on the ride, Really nice donuts, It is amazing in the morning, The duck fishing was so worth it!!

Fun venue that has been around for many years, good level rides and I think the perfect choice to go with young kids to give them the memories of being at the seaside when a child. Good arcades too for me the favourite is always the basketball machine. There’s a general one price ticket to go on all the rides and deal options are available too, it’s an extra small fee to go onto the pier. Worth visiting if with the family in Southend On Sea

Great place with good rides, make sure you go on a nice day and it's probably a once a year job so I don't really see the point in getting an annual pass as I think the kids wouldn't enjoy it again this year.

THE MOST RUDE customer service team I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I asked why I hadn’t been told of a deadline of 31st January to resolve my enquiry when I called on 2nd January. Attitude was ‘no one leaves it that long to chase a response. If we haven’t replied then you should have chased us before now!’ I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were busy on site. Asked for a call back at a time that suited the manager and was told no. When I asked for the lady’s name I was told she doesn’t have to give me that. She then put the phone down on me. I wonder if any of the elusive managers will read this and realise this lady is not doing their business any favours I was asked to email feedback at Stockvale as below.. even sent them evidence that the response by email given directly contradicted the very rude lady I spoke to. Was told they are investigating but nothing since

Very nice park, has very delicious donuts. Uses a card and wristband system, A must go. Very nice rides and very family friendly. Best to buy tickets in advance as wristbands bought in advance cost £25 but are £35 on site.

Absolute dive full of weird people

We used the soft play centre inside and it was amazing. It's only downside is it can take so many children but there's limited seating for the spare parent :)

Came on open day. Nearly all the rides were working perfectly. Couldn’t fault staff they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Everytime they introduced themselves before every ride

absolute rudest customer service. From the managers to the staff the way they treat people is disgusting. Someone i know recently had an interview here and was treated with nothing but disrespect and unkindness when it took them alot of courage to go to the interview. If you’re going to hire young people, know how to treat them first. Disgraceful.

We've been coming here for several times for our kid. The area is great with a lot of exciting rides.. Normally we come here for their playground which cost 7 pounds if you don't have an annual pass which is great. However, they implemented the no food and drinks from outside is allowed. We brought our food which was bought before coming over but we didn't ate it..we bought food from their cafe and a drink except for water for our kid in a kid water bottle. They told us it's not allowed which is a little bit off. Even then we complied. However what we hate is they singled us out. The other table had their water bottle from outside on their table and they didn't even call their attention, just beside us. They passed as by several times just to check if we have our bottle. Security cameras saying I'm sorry you must not drink water from outside. But then how about the other table?. I dunno, I don't like to say something else. We just bought the annual pass today and somehow we regret it.

Can get very busy in the good weather

Overall it was really nice and I had tons of fun.The rides were really good and they even had an area for little children.I really like the axis and rage as they were scary but also fun.I would definitely recommend this place and I really want to go again

Adventure Island is situated below sea level, right by the sea, and that makes the park 1 or 2 degrees warmer in winter months. Getting there by train is the most convenient way, but you can drive and park along the road for a fee. It's free to enter the park but it's cheaper to take advantage of the annual ticket when on sale. It's a great place to be with fun-filled activities on your own but better as a group or family. The park is in 3 sections- East side, Adventure Inside, West side, plus the Sealife Center. All these sections combine to offer a variety of rides to suit all ages and interests groups. For instance, they have the Kidi, Mini, Stormer, Rage, and Greenscream roller coasters. You can also enjoy train rides, rotating and swing rides, and many others. The Adventure Inside also hosts a play stack area for children aged up to 10 years and a plethora of fantastic indoor games and rides. You can spend all day just within the Ai. The vibe in the park is generally always great and buzzing. Whether it's a weekend, half term, or summer holidays. You will definitely enjoy watching the fun, the laughing, screaming, and crying of guests on rides. It's a great environment for relaxation and refreshment. The nice thing about AI is that you get a good view of the sea while on most rides and at the Sand restaurant. Talking about refreshment, you will be spoiled with choices of quality food at any of their food outlets such as Sands and Feelgoods. Please don't forget to taste the island's donuts at the Eatry next to Fireball. Quote 1 I would like to end by saying Adventure Island is a great place to socialize, relax, and have fun as family, a group, or on your own.

Looks like a cool place, but the outdoor part was closed so we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. Definitely coming back when it's open and better weather.

Came to see Father Christmas. The event was great. Staff all friendly and some really welcoming and going above and beyond to make it festive for the children. I think in all honesty, they let too many people in, considering the outdoor rides were shut, we were all inside or queuing for Father Christmas. There was also an outdoor fire! It was signed that it was hot and seemingly you couldn't reach in to touch it (children) but it was just a smelly smokey fire, there was no real purpose of it! The food inside was a bit expensive. Vouchers were offered but we chose to eat out on our journey home. Liked that children could go pick a present of their choice. I think we will go back in summer when it's warmer and have another go. Overall we liked it.

don’t try the ‘stock valley premium quality’ coffee. Latte was so strong I couldn’t drink it. asked for more steamed milk and was refused. Not good. Kids loved it. but no fun for grown ups.

Today we visited adventure wonderland to visit Father Christmas and I had to write a review because it was such a good day and amazing value for money too! From the Santa experience to visiting the toy shop and all the added extras the kids loved it! The queue to see Santa, annoyed me a little at first, as we did have a time slot but they made up for the wait they realy did! Great experience would highly recommend and will definitely be returning next year ! Well done all the team at wonderland! Happy Christmas!

Took my Grandchildren during October half term. They really enjoyed themselves. Good selection of rides and the queues weren't too bad either. Good value for money theme park.

Took kids to watch the fireworks, then spent a few hours in the arcades. Very expensive, need a mortgage these days. Kids enjoyed themselves.

Bought tickets online for outdoor park. Turned up next day and was told outdoor park closed. Nowhere on website stated that when purchasing. No refund or discount offered despite paying full price for a glorified arcade that costs extra to ride on kiddy machines. Absolutely not worth it.

Adventure Island is a great place for a family trip to the amusement park you can have a great time it is best to buy an annual pass it only costs £60. You can also eat something, drink coffee and eat tasty doughnuts.

We enjoyed the fireworks tonight. Although is cold is was a great time out. We get into a few attractions. After 17.00 they cut prices to a half. So was good fun and quite cheap.

Very well run fun park. All the staff were friendly, there are plenty of security to check who is coming in. The place is kept very clean and with a yearly pass, there's discounts on all the food. Taking 7 and 5 year olds around, there are plenty of rides to keep them occupied for a few hours. Queuing wasn't a problem as it was generally quiet on a Saturday in November. We also found a number of indoor rides and soft play should it turn wet or too cold outside.

I’ve been here about four times now and it’s just fantastic! The rides are great, and they’ve got good stuff for kids and adults alike, so there’s definitely something for everyone. The price is really good as well so that’s an advantage. There’s a great arcade inside and lots of restaurants, cafes and arcades just outside the theme park. There’s also a nice beach just beside it so it’s a great package overall.
