I am Chinese and consider this one of the best Chinese restaurants to eat at in London. I’ve been coming here frequently, over some years and for sure the Dim Sun doesn’t disappoint. Dim Sum is outstanding here, better than any in Chinatown/Soho and yes, I agree with Giles Coren “possibly the best dim sum in London”. On the few occasions I had the evening dinner menu, it was also very good and I always found the service to be friendly and efficient. Re. An earlier review, sweet corn soup is authentically made with puréed sweetcorn, which becomes creamed sweetcorn. Depends on if you like some texture.

This the worst experience ever was there with my granddaughter the person who served us was really rude she wanted fried prawns without the sauce and she refused to give it without the sauce not child friendly. I order a veg duck roll and a non veg duck roll so told her to pack it so i can go home and eat it .They put the wraps salad non veg duck and veg duck in one small container really have no clue what they are doing i am a veg and couldn't eat it.I complained to the one who served us she said sorry wasted my money and no meal gave a takeway like putting food in a bin and we have paid money for that which we should be able to eat.I think Trading standarrds should be informed they don't know how to serve food and in food buisness.I called to complain they said we can replace one veg dis come and collect it not going to go twenty minutes away and again pay for parking.Please shut your place down or learn how to treat people.

We have had dinner and lunch in this restaurant before so today we decided on a takeaway away as it was rainy and windy. What a terrible dinner we had , regret ordering from here . It would be a top contender for the worst chineese taje away we have had and we have had a few for many years. The food was too salty , might be tge over use of soy sauce. The chicken sweet corn had pureed sweet corn , first time we have had it like this . The more I write the worse the review would be so think twice.

We were significantly overcharged but this is difficult to see at the time because the bill is written in Chinese and the serving staff do not want to check the bill with customers. Beware.

We ate here after spending the day at the nearby RAF Museum and enjoyed it very much. The place is very nice inside with attractive decor, a nice bar area, and nice large windows. It is a comfortable place for dining. They have dim sum as well as other dishes and we had a mixture. Everything was excellent, characterful. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable for a fancier-type Chinese restaurant.

Jun Ming Xuan @jm_oriental, beautiful decor, service is top class,food is incredibly delicious , every single bite is full of flavour and heart, the dimsum is the best I've ever had, especially the Truffle siu mai, main course, the braised short ribs. They're super tender with a crispy caramelised surface and a smokey taste attached, it's absolutely mind blowing. The dessert Chocolate Fondant with Matcha lava is the best to finish, everything is perfect and spot on, Thanks to the Team of Jun Ming Xuan @jm oriental, it was a fantastic experience.

We travelled from far to come to this restaurant , on the reviews is quite mixed some people really don't like it some people love it , so we have decided to come and try it ourselves, the set up is very nice, the food was good for us, we surely can see the chefs have skill no doubts about it, the service could be better for the quality of the restaurant one waiter need to have more attention to the clients the rest of the waiters were very nice and calm with big smiles in general was all very good. just in case is important for anyone all the waiters are working with mask on which still quite important in our opinion we will go back

This is definitely one of the best places to have dim sum in London… other than Yauatcha Soho or A Wong! We come here a lot and are never disappointed at lunch time. Can be quiet then, so long as you don’t mind that. Never been in the evenings, as dim sum is traditionally a lunch time offering.

Horrible place to eat, I was asked to order more than £10. Then I did and the food came after a long waiting time. No condiments served. Then again have to wait for long time for bill. Surprised they added a 10% service charge for their worst service.

Visited this restaurant for the second time just for Dim Sum n we were not disappointed at all. Delicious n tasty dim sum served with a smile. A bit pricey but it’s value for money. Will recommend

We had such a lovely evening at this restaurant, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. A female staff member was so understanding and kind when I mentioned my anxiety related eating disorder. Couldn't rate this place highly enough, can't wait to return. :^)

Good local dim sum restaurant in colindale loved by locals and visitors from other parts of london. Char siu buns were the highlight! I have knocked off a point because they do not have a phone line (the numbers they advertise don’t work) and accordingly you can’t call ahead to book! Enjoy ! Ps Parking is problematic as the restaurant is within a private development, only parking nearby is pay and display which is applicable 24/7 and costs £2 per hour. Which is a shame given that the location is nowhere near central london and dim sum is generally a Sunday lunch thing.

Visited with my partner and we both enjoy the food and atmosphere. Love the Dim Sum and the vegetables.

The seating arrangement is spacious and open. The staff were busy however they were okay. Food wasn’t the best Chinese food the starters were just average and duck was dry. The beef main and rice was the highlight, good flavours and tasty the following morning too. 🍚

Esta es nuestra comida para llevar china habitual, ya que vivimos cerca de la zona. Pedimos langostinos en salsa de frijoles negros, chuletas de cerdo con sal y pimienta, fideos crujientes con ternera, arroz frito con huevo y sopa wonton. El tamaño de las porciones es fantástico. Me encanta la salsa de frijoles negros, estaba muy rica y las gambas son más grandes de lo esperado. El cerdo a la sal y pimienta es bueno como siempre, va de maravilla con el arroz y los fideos crujientes. Los tiempos de entrega son aceptables, ya que era un momento de mucha actividad de la semana. Definitivamente lo recomendaría con nuestros amigos y familiares.

Went with a large group of friends on a night out at the beginning of March and loved the options for vegans and vegetarians. Service was very good. Nice evening out. The only thing that lets it down is the area the restaurant is in we have to pay for parking....no matter what time of day.

I came here for dinner with a friend. we ordered the sliced fish and tofu with oyster mushroom dishes. both dishes were cooked well. the dessert of custard bun was ok, the filling wasn't as hot as I wanted it to be. service was attentive enough.

Muy decepcionado con la comida. Pedimos langostinos y verduras Chow mein (dos disches). Era muy delgada (como los fideos singapurenses), seca, demasiado aceitosa e insípida (sin sal ni especias). Llamé y hablé con el gerente del restaurante. Se estaba riendo por teléfono. Muy poco profesional y actitud grosera. Nunca lo volveré a ordenar con ellos.

Courses were served in a timely fashion and each at appropriate timings throughout the meal. Dishes tasted good, wasn’t wowed but it was nice. Okay atmosphere and service was fine.

Four of us popped in here for the first time as we had heard good reviews by Giles Coren, renowned food critic of all people! We decided on a mixed dim sum starter which comprised of spare ribs, chicken satay fillets, prawn toast and seaweed. There was also complimentary prawn crackers as soon as we were shown to our table. There is the usual selection of beef, chicken, vegetarian and duck dishes as starters and mains. If you are really in a celebratory mood, there is a lobster dish for around £45.00. The restaurant is clean and bright and parking is easily available outside the restaurant at £1.00 an hour.The staff were friendly and service good.

Six of us had a wonderful meal at Jun Ming Xuan, one vegetarian, and the other five enjoyed two different set meals plus the manager gave us a further two dishes FOC. The staff are very helpful and courteous, ambiance is modern and friendly.

It's not unusual for reviewers to have different opinions about a restaurant, but Jun Ming Xuan seems to have polarised reviewers more than most. I am in the positive camp, without question. My dining companion and I love Asian food and dim sum is a particular favourite. This restaurant did an excellent job of all the usual suspects and also offered some specials. All our choices were vegetable and seafood based and, as is often the case, we managed to over order, but everything was so delicious that we ate it anyway!

First time been to a Chinese restaurant where none of the dishes were tasty. Staff were not friendly and dishes arrived after a long wait.

Szechuan Beef or Chicken does not mean Sweet and sour with added chilli. With the exception of the dim sum, all their dishes are below average and very confused as to what they should taste like.

I went to celebrate Chinese New Year on Fri 9th Feb, we arrived 6.30pm and ordered our mains, we decided not to go for The Set Menu and by 8.30pm our order still didn't arrive. We complaint with the manager and staff but they didn't care so we decided to leave the place at 9pm, other people in our table preferred to stayed and keep waiting but for me was enough. It was my first and last time I go there. Poor service, the portions sizes that I saw on other tables are very small. As one of my Chinese friends said once, "if you'd like Chinese food go to China Town".

The food is nice but takes ages. It appears the take aways hold things up. Parking is expensive and we had to pay more due to slow service. When we left less than the suggested gratuity we were challenged and told we should have made this clear when paying!

Taste is very normal, very average. Price is high. Takeaway price is double the normal. Service was very long too.

Habiendo comprobado google maps, el tiempo de viaje se estableció en 6 minutos. Cuando llegó la comida hacía frío y pedimos una compensación y nos dijeron que el tiempo de espera de casi 2 horas no era lo suficientemente irrazonable como para ofrecer un descuento. No hace falta decir que ya no volveremos a ordenar desde aquí.

The restaurant itself looks nice & the menu fairly standard for a Chinese but I didn’t rate my take-away meal. It was fairly expansive for what it was, hardly contained any near & very oily.

Have been eating here on and off since it opened. Earlier this year we ate in and the food and service was great. However, I have resigned myself to the fact that the takeaway is terrible. We spent just under £100 and most of the food ended in the bin. I guess the food could be described as soggy, gloopy and oily and lacking flavour. Very disappointing compared to the meal eaten in the restaurant a few months ago.

Our first visit all the way from Kent and worth the trip. We were warmly welcomed by staff and the best dim sum. We have had dim sum at numerous other restaurants but must say this place beats them all by a mile. The waitresses were great and the service is of the highest standards just as their freshly prepared food. Keep it up.

Definitely recommend this restaurant, the food and service is brilliant. The food isn't overly oily as most Chinese restaurants are like. The food is really tasty and to the other reviews that say it's not sign posted about it being cash-only, there are two signs on the restaurant front door that says this (and an ATM just outside the restaurant)...

Fab restaurant tucked away in the middle of a new(ish) development. Very authentic food, lovely service, reasonable prices. The sort of food you'd find in a top Chinatown restaurant, but here it is in Colindale! Dim sum also very good.

Came Here With My Sisters, Baby and Friend. My friend really enjoyed the food so did i and the service was great only downfall is abit over priced for what it is but lovely venue wouldn't fault it. This Guy cut my food as i had baby in hand and poured out teas so for the first time i was happy to pay service charge it was well deserved. Definitely will come back as a regular and take my dad too.

Pleasant ambiance, had a nice selection of vegetarian dim sum - attractive looking and tasty, didn't have to wait too long, staff attentive and pleasant. Would go back for the vegetarian dim sum selection. Gratuity and IVA added to bill at end, would have been nice if credit card was accepted as not often we carry cash.

We were recommended this restaurant as a particularly good one for dim sum, We the limited selection of dim sum was uninspiring and of an average quality. The remainder of the food was at 'suburban' Chinese standard and not west end price level quality and the Duck was over cooked and therefore dry and not very nice.

Terrible Chinese food. Pork was all fat. Prawns tasteless. And they did not tell us until the end that it was cash payment only. I would save yourself the trouble and stick with your current Chinese restaurant!

Very nice food and restaurant. I have been here twice now in the last few months and it is always good food. The price is reasonable and it is always busy so best to book beforehand. The menu is large but everything I have had is great; sweet and sour, spicy prawn, noodles. They also have a large selection of dim sum which is very nice as well. I am not sure if it is available all the time so best to check beforehand. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well.

Ridiculously overpriced, minuscule potions, mediocre quality. This restaurant used to be excellent. It was always overpriced but at least the food was good. I have just paid nearly £11 for a small potion of spring rolls and an offensivesmall portion of starter smoked chicken. The food was given to,e by a surly waitress and I actually could not believe how little they had given me. No discount for takeaways! Jun Ming you have become greedy. Thank goodness the oriental food hall bang bang has reopened in Colindale. Up your game Jun Ming or , quite deservedly, go out of business!

値段はそこそこしますが味は美味しく、店内綺麗でサービスもまあまあ。家族で良く使っていましたが、今回行くと支払いは現金のみ、目の前にコインパーキングがあるのですが、以前は駐車場代も払ってくれたのに、いつからか自腹になったと。少しずつサービスが悪くなってるように思いました。ランチは飲茶をやってて美味しかったですが、しばらく行かないかも。。

An update from my last visit at this restaurant when I gave it 4 stars due to small portion size, I can confidently give it 5 stars after my visit today.I came here with my family for dimsum. The customer service was exceptional - everyone was very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was just as tasty as the last time and it made me very happy to see that they have altered the portion sizes, which are bigger and fit for the price.I was extremely happy with my visit and would definitely recommend others to try this awesome restaurant!

Tucked away in a new development this Chinese is both dine in and takeaway. I had takeaway which was lovely. I would recommend the prawn n pork dumpling type things. Appears clean and tidy. A little more pricey than most, but was of good quality. Would return and recommend. They were a bit tight on the prawn crackers..... One small bag between 3, and we all spent over £12 each..... Its the small things that count too ;-)

Have had Dim Sums on numerous occasions and always good . They often run out of Veggie options which is often disappointing . Service also varies from time to time . Economically priced .

My boyfriend and I followed a friend's recommendation and that was definately a good idea!They have a very nice interior, a large variety of chinese dishes, which were very tasty and friendy waiters.1 point less because it would be easier for me to tear down the Berlin Wall with my bare hands than to pay by card in this restaurant! They have a lot of cash only signs there but the manager signaled us to come in anyways. We then payed by card but in the restaurant next to it. Weird.

Have been many times for lunch & Dim Sum are excellent. Friendly modern restaurant with fab food - great place to take kids. Very busy on Sundays

I came here with my sister and boyfriend for dim sum and had a very good experience.The restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and cheaper compared to china town restaurants. Most of the food was delicious but there were certain dishes that were quite bland. The only criticism I have is that portion sizes are slightly small.Overall a good experience and would definitely recommend to others.

We've come here a few times for family meals and always found the food to be very good with good variety. The service was outstanding on Saturday night with tea replenished frequently, smiley happy waitresses & quick delivery of food. The only niggle is that they still only accept cash although they did remind us when we booked.

Expensive, but the last time I came here, I was put at a table where the chair was seated where the waiters walked past and I was told to move to the side of table where the back of my seat was touching the person sitting behind me, which ended up being really uncomfortable. As the tables were quite tight when it gets really busy and I was basically sat with my entire body touching the table and I could not move because the person behind me kept pushing their chair back meaning I'd basically get pushed forward into my food getting my face and clothes dirty with food because of the limited space between me and the table behind me and I was not allowed to move my seat to the side of the table where there was more space as the waiters "needed" a BIG space to walk around the restaurant.I would never visit here again after that experience. The food was "ok" not great. But I do think most of us to do come out looking well presented eg clean clothes but I don't think anyone would want to go out any further if they had to be walking around with food down the front of their tops.

The ambiance is quite chic & relaxing. Service is acceptable though not the best. The variety of Dim Sum is quite average but the taste & quality is not bad at all for the price. It is a convenient spot for people living around there for some authentic Chinese cuisine instead of having to travel to Central London. However, be advised that they only accept cash as their credit card machine is perpetually out of order. What an excuse!

Had lunch here two years ago and came back to try again and the quality of dim sun served tasted like the one we had in Hong Kong which is delicious. The rice noodle roll is similar to the one like Hong Kong and is super delicous. The Char siew pao was good too. We ordered main dim sum and didnt dissapoint.However, most of the staff are not attentive and friendly. Service wise can be improved.

High quality, medium priced, large modern restaurant. Card machine always out of order so have cash available, parking a bit iffy, good friendly, well trained service. Excellent range including exceptional dim sum. If you don't like spicy, be careful because chef is enthusiastic spicer.

Definitely a place worth trying out; in fact we eat here very frequently and love their dumplings and fried pork ribs!The food is absolutely great, and they have quite a varied and amazing range of dumplings. The service is very good and attentive. The only irritant is their credit card machine is at times out of order and you need to carry cash along.

The food is very very tasty ! The service is a bit too intrusive as the servers did a lot of walking around stealthily and every now and again was aware of them watching the diners. Portions are small and the prices are big but have to say the food was very tasty indeed ! Would go there again but not too often due to the prices.

We lived close to this one, so seeing their sign claiming to have been reviewed as the best dim sum in the UK, we were curious.It really wasn't a good experience. The staff seemed clueless and slow, dim sum offered was completely different than what was offered on the menu available online. We ended up ordering mains and all four of them were really bland and not entirely enjoyable.After we finished our meal we waited for over 20 minutes for the bill, though we had asked for it twice. Frustrated we went up to the bar in the front and had to wait another ten minutes for our bill to be ready. Especially considering they charge a 10÷ service fee, the service really was sub par and I will definitely not be visiting here again.

I was in London recently and we went here for Sunday Lunch, with my Auntie, Cousin and my Sister. We had to wait for a table, around 20 minutes as it was very busy and my Sister said you can't book a table. I have seen you can book a table on their website. dine@juneming.co.ukHowever, we ordered various Dim Sum dishes and also their Wonton soup, served in individual little bowls. Plus, a few more main course dishes, their Crispy Aromatic Shredded Duck was excellent. Everything was very good, it all arrived quickly and we didn't leave anything! I would highly recommend eating here. Very good service too. There was an excellent atmosphere there, it's modern and there are loads of tables there too.

This Chinese is well worth a visit; in fact we go out of our way to eat there! Every chance to go we do ...if we are down seeing our daughter who is at University. Classy interior. Classic culinary choices... but also some really different and delicious dishes!

Dim sum restaurants are few and far between other than in China town. Most places are heaving and have a huge queue. We had to pay for parking but not as much as we pay in canary wharf. We were welcomed at the door and shown our seats. The staff were friendly and helpful and could explain what was on the menu. The food came out hot and tasty. With a decent selection of steamed as well as fried dishes... and a wide variety of desserts too. Some dishes I can admit I have tasted better... like the turnip cake. I think it was lacking a bit of seasoning and didn't look as neat as I have had in the past. But the chickens feet were very good. And the siu mai was very good with definition in all the ingredients. The best I've had for a while. We really enjoyed the cuttlefish cakes too. It's nice to be able to see and taste the chunks of meat and prawns in the dishes it makes it real rather than eating a blended 'paste'. Very good dishes.This place is closer to us than any other dim sum place... and we will be coming back.

Been here twice now and it is nothing special. The food is average at best with very small portions. The other very odd thing is that they don't take any credit or debit cards just cash stating it is an Internet issue but they used the same excuse over three months ago!

Nice chinese food in Kai Xuan chenese restaurant at Puteri Pan Pacific especially lemon chicken and chinese fried rice. Certain dim sum is under cook and ask to re heat

Looks can be deceiving. Should you be passing, this restaurant might catch your eye. It looks like it might be rather glamorous with tasteful decor. And if you look really closely, you'll see the sign they proudly display outside the front door that informs you how highly Giles Coren rates their dim sum. However, upon closer inspection (going into the restaurant), it's all a bit tacky and actually rather cheap.We had a reservation for a Friday night which seemed a good idea but probably wasn't really required. One thing they fail to tell you when you book is that their card isn't working and by the looks of things on here it hasn't been working for a long long time. Yet, when you sit down, it's the first thing they tell you and they even direct you towards their nearest cash machine for later on.The menu is confusing. It's quite large, spread over numerous pages and appears to be almost entirely Chinese food. Now, the impression I'd got, and indeed the impression their website gives off is that this is a restaurant that specialises in high quality dim sum. The dim sum menu on their website is in no way a reflection of the menu you're handed in the restaurant. Maybe this used to be a predominantly dim sum restaurant but it's now very much Chinese food with a few dim sum dishes thrown into the mix for good luck.We ordered Chinese in the end, one of their set menus. It was bland, gloopy and reeked of having been made a few days ago and reheated. If it was fresh then my tastebuds need examining! Everything about the experience was either cheap or a let down. It's likely that the glowing reviews of a year ago were all completely accurate but I can assure you that this less glowing review is too. I won't be going back.

Nice fresh dim sum but only snag was that they told us after on presentation of the bill credit card machine not working , wanted cash to settle the bill !

Was disappointed with the overall service and food portions especially starters. Also on New Years Eve they tell us cash only when we arrived at the restaurant as the card reader was not working. Luckily there was a cash machine nearby and also no free parking have to pay and display. Won't be going again.

With Christmas closing The Good Earth for their annual break and us fancying a Chinese takaaway we decided to try out a new place... When I arrived I found the takeaway menu was half Chinese dishes and half Italian dishes. Alarm bells rang but I ignored them.Was planning on an assortment of Dim Sum but was told most are unavailable so went with familiar dishes. (how much can they screw them up I thought)I Was told they dont accept cards and forced to walk to a nearby Cashpoint machine. What kind of place doesn't accept cards??After a 20 minute wait I got the food and headed home.The food was the worst kind of chinese food imaginable. Greasy, flavourless and stodgy. My Crispy Shredded Beef was not crispy and had an odour that stunk out my living room. Somehow the Chicken in Black Bean sauce had a layer of grease on everything that stuck to the roof of the mouth. Being flavourless probably helped at this stage.Assuming I don't spend the night in the bathroom I will give this place 1 star. If I suffer from this meal my lawyers will be instructed.

We had my father over for Christmas and decided to go out for a meal we have always wanted to try this restaurant but have never been able to park so glad we did had a great meal and a good time so good that we are going back with friends soon

As always, the food was outstanding. The dim sum is possibly the best in London. The fried noodle that we ordered was too salty. This was immediately replaced and that tasted delicious. We have been many times and will return. Have also recommended to friends.

Following the takeover of our former favourite restaurant, we had been looking for some time for good dim-sum without having to go into Central London. Well those at Jun Ming Xuan made the grade. We feasted on an assortment of Dim-Sim for 'starters' and then shared a variety of 'mains'. These were all freshly prepared with distinct clean flavours and spicing without any MSG taste. We enjoyed them all. The service was attentive and friendly, although the need to go out to a cash machine to make payment was a minor discomfort. I hadn't read the tripadvisor reviews prior to going as I had been given a personal recommendation, and the polarised reviews suggest that the restaurant is struggling to provide a consistent level of food / service. Either we were lucky and hit them on a good night or other reviewers have different expectations. We will return and see how things pan out but clearly they have lost a lot of business as after one bad experience people do not give restaurants a second chance.

We first went to Jung Ming Xuan just over a year ago and had a really terrific meal - great food, great service - perfect. We returned a few days ago full of expectation despite the recent negative reviews. I wish we hadn't. Similar to one of the recent reviewers from four weeks ago, we were also told that the credit card machine wasn't working and that there was a cash machine nearby. Given the four week interval between their and our visit, you might be forgiven for thinking that the owners simply didn't want to accept credit cards and pay the commission.As for the food, it was indescribably bland and forgettable and some of the meat dishes had a lot of onion "filler". Overall, pretty lacklustre and nothing like as tasty as previous visits. The service was, however attentive.The management clearly have a sense of humour as when the bill arrived, it was accompanied by a 10% off voucher for the Italian restaurant next door.............

Visited this restaurant after reading reviews...upon arrival the staff were not very welcoming, but we decided to stay. After ordering drinks and having a look at the menu I realised they didn't have much option (as I don't eat meat). After a brief conversation with my friend we decided to go elsewhere to eat, when we asked for the bill the staff became increasingly rude and arrogant. I also queried why there appeared to be plastic in my friends drink upon receiving the bill and a member of staff shouted at me until I was outside the restaurant with the door closed.

We have usually eaten at this restaurant around once every few months so know the place well but have noticed a gradual drop in the quality of food, front of house service and general table service in the past 6-12 months. We made a reservation and visited here for dinner this week. As we were seated at our table and had ordered some drinks, a manager came up us to advise that they are changing their credit card payment systems and don't take credit cards. Only cash. So why not tell us on when we made the reservation or upon arrival? Of course we didn't have the necessary cash so that required me to put back on my coat and take a walk in the freezing cold to a cash point. All unnecessary and poor front of house service..Regarding the food and general service: food was exceptional in previous years but now it's nothing special. Large menu provides choice for all tastes. It's now on the expensive side coming in at around £25-£30pp excluding drinks. Service was OK but it did require us to beckon the staff on several occasions to get their attention.Overall a disappointing dinner and we will move our patronage elsewhere going forward.Finally, parking has become more difficult and it's pay and display only on a 24/7 basis.

Great meal on a Thursday night - excellent food, comfortable and spacious and attentive service. Parking isn't easy and the meters are hard to find and expensive for an out of town dining experience. I think the restaurant could benefit from giving customers a voucher towards this or having some parking for visitors most if whom come by car.

We choose this restaurant because it's close to our place. I wanted to eat lunch. I ordered soup and main but without rice etc plus tea my partner just beer we paid 26 pound I was surprised in this area normally for both of us we pay around 30-35 for lunch. Service was quite good. Inside restaurant looks like a wedding hall. Food is OK but nothing really special.

I Have dined here since moving to the area and find Andrew and his team to be professional and attentive at all times. The food of course is sublime fresh and delicious. I would recommend to anybody that wants eat great food that is freshly cooked. Thanks guys keep up the good work MORGAN.

Visited Saturday after noon for Dim sum, as usual the food was excellent , the wasabi prawns, to the lotus leaf rice and the fried prawns with spring onions and garlic were excellentIt was not busy as we got there after 2.30The service was excellent

Outstanding food, best Chinese meal I have had in a long time. Even my wife, who doesn't usually like Chinese wants to go back. Dim Sum are fantastic but the rest of the menu was great too. Strongly recommended

Upon arrival staff swarm around like bees to a honeypot trying to get drink orders. Service was slow and erratic, first courses, all soups, not being served together. We ordered aromatic duck which is always served as a separate course but was brought with the main courses. We insisted the mains be returned and freshly prepared but when they came up again they had obviously been microwaved. Some dishes never arrived.The food was reasonable but overpriced so the service should be good but it is that of first year students at a catering college. I wanted to withhold the "service" charge but my fellow bill payer was uncomfortable. However I will certainly not return.

Met up with a group of friends and had a lovely time as usual. Excellent food with very attentive service

The restaurant is quaint and the staff are friendly. We had dim sum lunch and the food was tasty but a little bit on the small side. Our bill for the amount of what we normally eat was higher than other dim sum restaurants nearby. If you are not a resident within the development, you will also need to pay for parking (although this was not expensive). Toilets could be better. One out of 2 toilets was functional. Very sticky floors!!!!

An excellent Chinese restaurant, vast selection of food and nicely decorated. Perfect for a date or dinner with friends. Customer service from the manager is excellent but some of the waiting staff need to improve. Very good quality food at a fairly reasonable price. Disagree with the person who has said the tube station is far - its a 7 minute walk! Great restaurant in Colindale and they do take away too. I visit here once a month so I would definitely recommend to anyone!

We were brought here by friends and were impressed. We ordered the set menu at around £20 each, service was good, wine list was poor and over priced, food was yummy and enough, though it didn't look it at first...all in all, I'd go back...at someone else's expenses preferably...

I am more than ever convinced that this place has the largest dim sum menu....and the tastiest too!! Went for brunch at 3pm (they serve dim sum only till 5pm) and the place was packed with happy eaters. The food was excellent,the prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly. By the way...since there are parking restrictions they give you prepaid parking vouchers too!!

Another successful dining event at this restaurant - it can't bee faulted.

I introduced Giles Coren to this restaurant a couple of years ago, and he was very complimentary about its Dim sum. The staff are still attentive and the service is decent, but what they serve is no longer worthy of previous accolades!!It's now under different management, and has lost its way somewhat. Firstly it's got a lot more expensive, and considerably more empty!! £4.50 for 4pcs of Siu Mia, or £6.80 for 6 pc basket. Seafood Crispy noodles were not that crispy, and no longer came with scallops and I'm sure the portion size is smaller. Steamed Sea bass with ginger and Spring Onion wasn't bad but 19£ for farmed bass is a little steep, more west end than Colindale. Prawns with Asparagus were fairly bland and the portion was a little lost on the oval plate. The veg we chose was lettuce with oyster sauce. Two glasses of Tiger beer, a mango juice and two big bottles of water in total came to £98. Dinner for 2 and a child!!The restaurant needs to be driven too, it's a fair distance from the tube, but the car park charges (24hours)on top of the 10% service charge take the mick.We should have been alerted to the change in direction of the restaurant, as they no longer offer free parking permits to restaurant users. A real shame that this once Jewel in north Londons Asian food crown has lost its sparkle, indeed one might say someone has had the Jewel away!!End of an era for us!!
