The food was the worst food I ever eaten . Rice was dry stale and half cooked . Goat curry was old (had a funny smell of fish ) and on top of everything the delivery was 1 hour late . Do not order from this place .

I am leaving this review a week later after consuming the worst food, I have ever eaten in my life and I’m still sick now having stomach issues from the rancid chicken meal we was given I still can’t believe a food business can serve such bad food to people please do not order from this place, especially if you have children you will get sick

I genuinely could not eat this, even though I was hungry after a long shift at work. The rice and beans were properly stale, and the the jerk chicken was inauthentic - the beauty of good jerk is the crispiness of the skin and the juicy meat. This was not it. The chicken came swimming in a really cloying gravy which was quite repulsive, tasted like a mixture of BBQ sauce, pepper sauce and lots of sugar. Plantain was stone cold and hard. Disappointing.

No pics, couldn't wait to get stuck in. After a quick delivery, lovely staff who took the order...food arrived hot and was tasty. Would diffo order from there again.

I bought a Jerk Chicken with Hard food and paid £ 8 50 I was told Coleslaw was a separate £ 2 which most other Caribbean restaurants include free with the meal The chicken was stale and seemed to be 3 to 4 days old.It was raw inside and was full of blood I went back to ask the Owner who mentioned that since Covid, they had stopped making food fresh daily. Instead they were cooking food every 4 days ie twice a week and reheating it when someone ordered it. Extremely greedy and unethical on their behalf. It gave me bad stomach ache and I was vomiting afterwards Their food is stale and absolutely disgusting They should be ashamed overcharging customers and giving them stale uncooked food

First time ordering delivery from this place, jerk chicken with rice and peas, ackee and salt fish, Pepper steak with Rice and Peas. Delivery really fast, massive portions and all three dishes were really really good. Very good choice - resonable as well,

Ordered a "super-sized" portion of jerk-chicken, rice & peas, along side some coleslaw & a bottle of coke. The total came up to just over £16 (including delivery & service charges), which I thought was a little steep considering it was just the one meal, however I still decided to go ahead & place the order, as not only is the restaurant literally 5-10 minutes away from me, but also I thought that the portion would be a decent size, as it was supposed to be "super-size". Anyway in the end I waited well over an hour for my order plus, when I finally sat down to eat then guess what, not only was the FOOD ALMOST COLD, but also when I went to open the containers, then immediately I realised that THEY GAVE ME THE COMPLETE WRONG ORDER, AS INSTEAD OF GETTING THE "SUPER-SIZE" JERK-CHICKEN WHICH I ORDERED, I ACTUALLY ENDED UP WITH A VERY "SMALL" PORTION OF OXTAIL STEW. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE BUYING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL

This place is ridiculously close to me. I’ve been a couple of times and it’s always pretty good. This time we got saltfish and callaloo, goat curry and macaroni cheese. The saltfish and goat both came with rice and peas. Substantial portions and enough to satisfy my partner who eats a lot!

The taste is consistent, wonderful service and staff. Shop looks clean and well worth a visit or order... mmmhh.

The fried fish here is one of the best you will ever find. I am a fussy eater and takes a lot for me to be impressed. Staff also very friendly. Not sure about rest of menu but love fish so I have not tried anything else.

With the exception of the chick peas, which have been either stodgy or turning rancid on every occasion I have ordered them, and the lack of dasheen (colocasia) in the hard food serving, this place is excellent. Friendly, approachable and varied staff, amazing fish cooking and take away options make it the Caribbean Chick-King.

I went to buy food from the place cause I was hungry ordered 2 meals jerk pork and jerk chicken and it’s the worst jerk pork I’ve tasted it was burnt all over it was the first and LAST I think if you are going to serve customers food make sure it’s not burnt and the rice and peas no taste guess they need lessons how to make jerk I am unhappy and never again.
