Excellent food - 6 of us all had 3 courses, & each dish was lovely. Second time we’ve been here recently & everything fab. We’ll be back, they deserve our custom, - consistency & quality.

The lunch menu is very good value for money. We had the fish cakes starters, sea bass for main and almond tart with ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious, will be visiting again soon!

Outstanding food & service. I had tried to go previously but could not get a table. This time I managed to get a table booking. I will return.

decided to try at lunchtime .Picked set menu , starters ok , but main course very disappointing. My salmon looked lovely on the outside but was not cooked in the centre and my husbands steak allegedly sirloin was extremely tough and difficult to chew. Bearing in mind this restaurant is not cheap even on prix fixee we were totally underwhelmed and will not return

Excellent food . Good value . Very welcoming team . Was busy on a Saturday night , so a good atmosphere . Will be going back for sure!

I visited this restaurant for a Christmas meal which was very good and reasonably priced so brought a different friend for lunch. They do a special priced 2 or 3 course meal with good choices and good sized portions. Loved everything I had. So did my friend. It wasn’t busy at all but really should have been. Will definitely visit again

We ate here midweek and it was very quiet, we were worried that this meant that the kitchen would not be as good as it could be, but we were wrong. This is a little gem of a place, easy to get to on public transport, deceptively spacious inside and serving up good portions of great food. So many restaurants skimp on the food leaving you feeling a bit cheated, this is not the case here and long may it continue. I had the pork belly which was a good chunk of well cooked pork on a dish that came with vegetables and mashed potato, you are not likely to need the sides here. The drinks were good and the service the right balance of speed, attentiveness and simply leaving you to it.

Excellent meal - all 4 of us had different dishes & loved them all. Hadn’t been since it first opened, not sure if it’s new owners as more extensive menu & prices more reasonable than they were - overpriced before. We’ll be visiting again.

Fantastic first visit here but we’ll definitely come back! Family meal celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. Friendly and polite host, answered our questions about certain dishes and gave advice when asked. The food was delicious, well cooked, piping hot and generous portions. Extensive and varied menu, everyone was happy with their choices. A complimentary cocktail and dessert with birthday candle in for our son was kind and generous.

My husband booked a table on 3rd November for that evening, it was his birthday. He had a text message confirming the booking at 8pm. When we arrived it was very busy and we stood there for some time before anyone came up to us which wasn’t right. Only then to be told there were no tables and online bookings took precedence. We left and then on Sunday 5th I sent a polite text message saying how disappointed we were. I have not had the courtesy of a reply so I am sending this review to make it clear that it’s unprofessional and bad management not to acknowledge something important like this !

This restaurant was relaxing with a great ambiance. Wide menu selection of meat and seafood dishes and vegetarian . We had lamb cutlets with dauphinoise potatoes string beans and a red wine gravy , finished with a dessert . The main dish was tasty well presented and seasoned to perfection. . The dessert was a sticky chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. It was a generous portion not too sweet and melt in the mouth moist . Definitely recommend this place loved it !

Really disappointed in the service!! When we received the bill we noticed they charged every drink as a double which was not requested, their reply was, we always do doubles unless a single is requested!! Ludicrous!! We had two separate bills for food and drink and they charged two service charges!! We are absolutely disgusted in this. They are so greedy and take advantage when they know customers are drinking. My advice is to double check your bill to make sure you are not being robbed!! It is such a shame that they are robbing their customers. They will not last long as a business at this rate!! Avoid!!!!!!!

A small but great restaurant. A good choice of food and wines. The staff were very polite and helpful and would top up your wine glass when needed so were keeping a discrete eye on you all the time without being "in your fce"

My wife and myself, were taken to dinner here, with his wife and my friend's lovely and entertaining Mother, as we had looked after their Australian Cattle dog for a week, whilst they returned to Cyprus, with the husband's mother, where the couple both lived for a while. So another 'freebie' at this lovely restaurant..very busy on the Saturday night we dined. I personally enjoy a busy restaurant, as you can 'people watch' and listen..good entertainment usually, although as we wanted to talk about their holiday, luckily we were in a corner well seated away from this very busy and noisy venue: No problem but if you want a quieter time, go midweek: On Saturday there was at the other end of the Restaurant, well behaved but about a ten person 'Girls night out'..so be warned, laughter infectious but not to everyone's taste! Service is usually first class here, with staff attentive but not intrusive; a little slow this night, understandable, but didn't spoil the evening. I've no idea of the overall cost for five, but we had only three starters..beware, portions are large here for the mains..I had the Lamb Shank, with three pepperonis', the others had mainly fish dishes..all as usual beautifully presented and cooked..clean plates all around! Three Coffees and a tea to follow. Great evening with entertaining friends..and the bonus, left the wallet at home, but provided transport for all.

We have eaten here a few times and never disappointed. The food is excellent and a wide selection. Attentive service from Chris this evening who went out of his way to look after us even with a busy service. Highly recommend.
