Jubo Raj in Leeds

The 3 star review of this place is very harsh, my food came prompt and the portion size was huge for the price, delicious mixed started with onion bhajis that were delicious (as well as the other items). The curry was good for the local area, probably on the better side to be honest. I only rate it 4 star as I’ve been to some fantastic places in Bradford so comparing it to them. I would 100% recommend and will get a takeaway again from here!!

Tikka masala had good flavour but the garlic naan was old, dry and cold. Couldn’t eat it.

I ordered a chicken curry and revived lamb which was covered in cucumber! The kebab had tiny cubes of chicken and had salad covered all through it where you couldn’t pick out or warm through. Won’t be ordering from here again.

The delivery time seemed to be 30min more, still haven’t received my order

The Rogan Josh was disgusting. Big on tomatoes very short on meat, which incidentally was very chewy. I gave up halfway through and binned it. Not like any Rogan Josh I have ever had before or hope to have again. Seek kebab was much too hot for a starter. Chipatti was ok.

Every item was cold. Not warm or tepid…but cold. The restaurant is less than 1 mile away.

Can’t believe after the amount of reviews how bad this is. So much oil, nothing like a Pathia and rice was like it had been re-heated. Don’t ever leave bad reviews. That’s how grim it was. Can’t even clean the tray I put it on such is the oil.

Standards have slipped recently, we order regularly but the food is so poor now I'll go elsewhere in the future. The mushroom rice had barely any mushrooms in, the sauce on curry was lacking and disappointing and the mozzarella topping was not mozzarella but a cheap, grated cheese. The staff are the most miserable I've ever encountered in a business that depends on repeat custom, never a smile or a thanks.

Garlic chilli chicken was decent flavour and a nice amount of spice. Kebab meat was really nice and fresh and hot.

The corms we ordered was not very good it had what looked like mashed potatoes or Somali in it first time in years of ordering we have had a problem with the food.

My order was wrong with items missing. We called to raise it with the restaurant who said they would deliver the rest. They made 3 deliveries in total as they forgot food on the second delivery. It wasn't the worst food we have had but we have had so much better.

This was my go-to place for a curry, but lately hasn't been as nice as usual. I thought it was just a one off but after ordering a few more times and being dissapointed each time it seems that unfortunately that isn't the case :( I don't know if it's a new chef or something

The quality of the chicken in the curry was really poor. Like it had been frozen for too long. Over very over cooked.

Probs best onion bahjis and mint sauce We’ve ever had, the food is perfect. Forgot mango sauce but brought it straight away only thing I would say is it’s not worth 75p for 1 broken popadom but could’ve happen in transport

Burger quite bland and chips cold. The Naan from my mixed kebab was the best bit as the meat was quite bitty and the mint sauce was watery.

Amazing service every time and the best curry around tried lots of different places and nowhere comes close to this for a tasty hot curry the ingredients are always fresh and full of flavour and the curry portions are great cannot foult this place whatsoever

Unfortunately, there was no salad or mint sauce with the starter, and in both meals the potatoes were very undercooked. So much so that I couldn’t eat any of them. Not your usual perfection I’m afraid.

The restaurant is 4 minutes away but it was over 30 minutes late. It said it was on its way so I stood outside in the cold for it to turn up over half an hour later. I'm not happy with this as my food is not cold.

The food was lovely tasted great, (just a couple of chewy bits in the meat ) the chicken pakora was beautiful. It came on time and the driver was friendly and business like. I definitely enjoyed my food. Thank you.

Been a few times and last night was my last. Ordered a keema masala and chapattis. When I got home, the bag was swimming in bright orange grease, the curry was swimming in grease and the whole thing was inedible. Now, I’ve been eating curry for over 40 years and had some amazing food. This was poor. It’s a shame as it looks clean and not a cheap place. But I honestly woke at 4am feeling sick because of the amount of pure fat in the food. Sorry, won’t be going again.

This is our chosen go to place for our take away indian treats. The meat is always of the best quality and has no fat on it at all in our experiance. The portions are good and food has always arrived hot. We have had many different dishes over the years and all have been as good as the last. The staff are very polite,proffesional and are happy to adapt food to your taste where avaliable. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The drivers are just as polite, professional and happy to answer any questions if asked. They never make you feel rushed or uncomfortable. We cannot rate this place high enough because we feel their food is perfect as that has always been our experiance. We would reccomend to others without a doubt and hope they go on to open many more resteraunts in the future as one to dine in would be perfect. If your looking for the best indian food locally this is the best, we know as we tried them all over the years just to compare but always come back to this one.

This place knows how a business should be run. Excellent service, for example the driver checked my delivery to make sure all items were present. Food quality is excellent and portions as you would expect. I would highly recommend them.

Really enjoyed our meal. Had the mixed starter for two which was ok. The Meat Agra was really nice not as spicy as I expected but with the potatoes and meat it was delicious.

Please be aware chicken tikka massalla comes with almonds . I thought the only curry with nuts on was korma. Sure I’ve had this curry before elsewhere with no nuts on. Soo nut allergies pls beware …

Sorry guys terrible. Been ordering from you for years last time was bad but thought a one off, tonight missing items from order, curry dishes were the exact same dish not at all what we ordered. 2 trips needed to deliver our order.. I forgot to order nan bread which you kindly brought,Yey instead of saying something along the lines of “ oh don’t worry about it, sorry we messed up” you waited while I looked for change to pay the £2.50 extra then had no change so I payed £5 for the nan. £40 for the meal that was wrong and late with hungry family and children. Such a shame you were so good.

It was partly my fault. Just Eat app won't adjust to my new address. Jubo Raj were a bit late. Please don't penalise Jubo Raj for being late .

Always use Jubo raj for a takeaway, best curries in the area and surrounding towns as well, great delivery times also. For the Euros, they fulfilled our request of giving us a small pot of Vindaloo to try which we really appreciated!! Thanks as ever guys
