Jubilee Cafe And Chinese Take Away in Wiltshire

Waited for 3 hours and still no food. Called after nearly 2 hours to be told it was on the way. No very happy at all. Had to resort to ordering a second takeaway from somewhere else which came within 20 mins

Have used jubilee for 6 years it used to be the best chinese takeaway in the area but the last three visits have been terrible last night i had chicken curry bland and tasteless pancake rolls burnt on the bottom spare ribs fried to a crisp i suspect in a deep fat frier no edible meat on them the only edible dish was the rice.Will not be going again which is a shame as it is the most local.

Third and last time to try here. Thinking 'next' time will be better, never is. Tasteless and stodgy chowmein. Tastes like it's all been microwaved. Will drive further in the future.

I go to this Chinese every time I want a takeaway and I’ve never been disappointed in the 6 years I’ve been getting it . Genuinely the best takeaway around here . 100% recommend

Had chicken balls in batter was not very nice think oil was old they had a different taste to them i had a couple but couldnt eat it all just wadnt good and the chips were cold and dry.. I have not had a good tummy today. So not a great experience...

All of the Chinese was great. Apart from the prawn toast the prawn toast gave my grandad a work out. You throw it to a wall and it came back 😂😂. But we always order from this Chinese and never have a problem I would highly recommend this Chinese to anyone.

Food was absolutely vile, salt and pepper chicken was rock hard, chips tasted like they had been there all day, satay chicken skewers were like cardboard and dry and was told the chicken satays “are meant to be dry”! Took the food back for a refund and the chef was shouting, throwing the bag around, staring and shouting at a young women, also being infront of 4 other customers! Which actually made me feel uncomfortable, the state of the place was appalling! Chef was also walking around in socks and sliders not hygienic at all! Would not recommend at all!

Waited 2 hours for home delivery. Food was hard and cold. Very disappointing as this is the second time this has happened

Perfect Chinese takeaway! Very good portion sizes and food is always hot. Have tried a few Chinese takeaways but this is by far my favourite, in taste and for the amount you get. My new regular Chinese takeaway!

After a long and tiring day nothing else would do but fish and chips so we called in for the first, and definitely the last, time! Without doubt the worst ever takeaway meal either of us had ever experienced. The fish was smothered in batter and then cooked in oil which had clearly not been allowed to reach temperature. The result was that the batter and fish had mushed up to an indistinguishable and highly unpalatable gooey mess which was, in itself not properly cooked and oozing with oil. The chips, clearly reheated, were then dumped onto the fish to form a greasy and disgusting mess which went straight into the bin! Appalling!

I recently ordered a stir fry beef in thai sauce from here, and it was the worst meal i have ever eaten. The beef if that is what you can call is was all fatty and could not be eaten. This is not the first time i have had a bad meal from here, and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, worst mistake i made and i will not be using them again.

Food was disgusting. Tasteless, dry and soaked in oil. Called to inform Takeaway of this and their response was “that’s your problem”. They hung up on me and when I called back they ignored me. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible, dry and bland food, Ribs dry and too salty, with no chilli. Spring roll was dripping in oil and there was some ‘meat’ in there that I question the meat content (it looked like some form of tinned processed substitute). Chow mein was so bland, it smelt of oil, hardly any onion just noodles and dry chicken Pale colour and overcooked noodles. The Singapore rice was dry, very dry, tasted of curry powder and had the same square something meant to be meat that was in the spring roll, no veg in there at all. The service was also terrible, I called to explain my disappointment and was told “the food is normal” and they hung up!! I tried to call back and they didn’t answer. At no point was I rude and felt at a complete loss as to how to raise my dissatisfaction with this. As an emergency services key worker during covid pandemic this was my first takeaway and next time I’m exhausted and looking forward to a ‘treat’ will simply cook for myself !

I ordered my meal for my family, and was told it would take an hour for delivery, that is fine and normal, normally a really good take away, tonight I called at the 2 hour point and was told a pack if lies, the member of staff had not put the order through, so disappointed, no offer of a apology or refund, sorry Jubilee let yourselves and me down big time

We live in a local village about 4 miles away from the take away. We have been to a few others, but this is always our go-to take away. We always pick up, so can't comment on delivery. However, we have never had any issues with the customer service or the food. We find the portions are bigger than many other take aways I have used in various towns. I would recommend this to anyone after a standard Chinese take away, stand out features are quality of food and portion size in relation to cost.

Found the Jubilee on the way through Larkhill and decided on a takeaway. Ordered F&C and a chicken curry. When we got home the fish seemed to be normal size, but was 90% batter. The fish content was less than that of a fish finger. If I had lived closer I would have gone back. The chips were reheated (not fresh) and like bullets to eat, hence nothing of the F&C got eaten. The curry was so glutinous it maintained the shape of the container when put on the plate so was quite suspicious when eating it. However, it was "ok" but dare not eat it all. There were a steady stream of delivery drivers while I was waiting to be served, so maybe I was just unlucky, however I won't be going back.

Probably one off the worst Chinese takeaway I've had for a long time. Only went here as our local was closed. Wish I hadn't. Worst than a all you can eat buffet. Chicken was rubbery. Never known my wife to be sick after eating something. Never again

Lovely takeaway Chinese food cooked without MSG. Chefs happy to adapt dishes to suit individual tastes.

Following good reviews ordered a meal for my wife and I for delivery at our Touring Park. Great food. No problem delivering some distance away at a very reasonable cost. My wife commented on her Chow Main being the best she had bought. Highly recommended.

One of the best chinese takeaways I have ever had. Subtle flavours and no MSG! And they will change dishes on offer slightly should you need less chilli or no chilli like lightweight me!!

comida para llevar que hemos tenido desde aquí durante 12 meses y nunca he tenido una mala comida. Las raciones son grandes y el precio mínimo por la cantidad y calidad. A una pena que este no es un restaurante como la zona de Amesbury necesita un buen restaurante chino que sabemos esto sería exitosas en ser si se convirtió en uno. Sin duda continuaré yendo tan larga como la comida es muy buena.
