Delicious and we had a lovely time.

I go here about once a week for my favourite item on the menu, which is the vegan burrito. Yummy!!

Very good quality food, good portion sizes also. It got very busy so service wasn't great. Watched people walk out without ordering.

Food was ok. Milkshake was good. The staff seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but where they were working. Didn’t smile or acknowledge most of the time had to ask for menus and for them to take our order…they were not busy

We live in Godalming but we often go to Josies with our grandchildren because we love the food and it is very clean and the staff are very nice and attentive especially Ben.

Was there for the day yesterday as needed to be in Petersfield for the day, was amazingly looked after and really great food and drink!

A very pleasant young team ensured swift and efficient service. Food was good but no seasoning whatsoever. Perhaps that's on purpose so you add your own. The building itself is showing its age a little especially when you compare with the newly opened Alresford branch.

Food tasted nice, however gave me and my other half food poisoning, wouldn’t go again.

They have such a great choice on their menu and avoid all the boring generic options that most places offer. Really good value for what you get.

Generally a good cafe. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. Service was a but slow at times and the layout was a but cramped. Otherwise a lovely lunch.

Tasty food and generous portions as always. The pancakes are super fluffy and more filling than you might expect so be warned! Service here was a little slow with napkins and forks missing and food waiting to be served a little longer than needed. Would still recommend it highly though.

Great place for a catch up with friends.

My wife had raved about this place and so expectations were high for our first visit as a family. It didn't quite live up to those expectations but overall it's above average in my opinion. Firstly, as I'd been warned might happen, there was a wait for a table. They estimated 45 minutes and took our details so we could walk around the shops. I didn't check but it felt like the wait was shorter than estimated. My wife also seemed to know where we were in the queue. This system seemed to work well although when we arrived they initially said the table wasn't yet ready on their system, though it was ready in reality. When we entered the restaurant the first thing I noticed was that there was no food on any of the tables around us. I don't know whether to describe the experience as 'relaxed atmosphere' or 'slow service'! There was definitely a benefit to not being hurried, but I couldn't help thinking how many people were waiting for food or for their orders to be taken or to pay, as we were burning minutes walking around the town. As a Coeliac (gluten free) I was glad to be asked about allergies but disappointed and surprised not to be given a GF menu or a menu with GF markings on it. When the waitress came to take our order she said "I'm told there is someone here who is gluten intolerant" which was reassuring but it felt like too late in the process to be discussing what I couldn't and couldn't have. The staff seemed good. Friendly and representing their restaurant professionally. And like I said before, if you don't want to be rushed, there's a chill vibe. The food was fine but didn't live up to my wife's description of the food she'd had before. As breakfasts go it was presented nicely on large clean plates. There's loads of photos online to see for yourself. Our children thought it was 'ok'. I found the prices to be eye-watering but I've done a comparison with other restaurants since and actually the prices at Josie's compare favourably. It's obviously a challenge in the current climate for all restaurants. Given the quality of the food the prices at Josie's are comparatively good. I didn't like the atmosphere. Where we were seated was noisy, it felt enclosed with no window. Elsewhere in the restaurant seemed nicer so it depends where you sit. I would recommend the restaurant for breakfasts with the main caveats that you'll probably need to wait and it might not be the fastest service. On the positive side the staff are good, the food is nicely presented and you won't be hurried.

This is a nice chain and good location. Have been many times. Staff are amazing, generally attentive and friendly. In my experience the food quality can vary when then are rammed BUT any time I have been unhappy, the food has been remade with extra care so wouldn't consider this a negative at all. Coffee is also recommended

Turned up on a Sunday as a recommendation from the girls at work. The food and ambience was excellent. Very popular and fairly busy pre-lunchtime. The portions were good and extremely tasty. Thanks it makes me want to return to Petersfield soon!!

We went to this, the last of the Josies branches, on Easter Sunday. For the first time we walked straight in. Every other time we have had to await a text saying a table is ready. I mentioned this to the staff. I was told that it was standard for Easter but normally they are as busy as all the other branches. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent. Mushroom on toast - wonderful. The chicken wrap is gorgeous too. And the tater tots - wonderful, if very unhealthy (but we can have a treat occasionally can't we ?) Would I go back? Of course !

The food here is amazing and the staff is really nice and the wait time is very short but one thing they HAVE to change is the entrance/order service. When you enter Josie's, you have to wait for someone to come over and give you a table which there isn't a lot of. Then you need to get yourself a menu from the counter and wait for someone to come over and take your order. Then after eating your up to the counter and pay. I think it would be much more reasonable if you just go into the cafe and if you see a free table, you go sit at it and if not, you either wait or leave. A second thing is that it would be better if people go to the counter and order instead of waiting for staff to come to you. And one last thing, please make the beans slightly colder as they caused my mouth to get burned which took some of my skin off.

************update March 2023************ Really good still. ********************************************* Great. We heard rumours about having to wait for a seat, etc. However this wasn't the case for us. The staff were great and simply pulled up and extra chair to the table, for the 5 of us. The chicken and pancake was amazing. You can pay on an app, which allows you to select exactly what you ordered and split the bill. Its marvelous, really excellent and easy

Just had a great full English breakfast. It was very tasty and freshly cooked and the latte was nice too. Great service and atmosphere so will definitely recommend and will be back.

My favourite place to eat in Petersfield. The Breakfast Burrito is the perfect meal after a workout. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Really disappointed with our experience here today. After being recommended to try the pancakes, my Husband and I arrived to be told that there is a 45 minute wait for a table, absolutely fine- the uninterested server took our name and number and we went for a walk whilst we waited. When we were buzzed that our table was ready, we went back and waited a further 10 minutes for a chair as the table we were assigned was missing one so could only seat one person! After waiting a while, we asked one of the waitresses if there was another table free/spare chair as by this point it had been almost an hour we had waited. She simply walked off and told someone else, I heard her say ‘they’re still waiting to be seated’- I assume a manager as he was dressed differently and he gestured towards another table which was around the corner, but he didn’t walk us to the table or speak to us, which we found so rude! By this point, we were close to going elsewhere as it was so noisy in there too but we felt that we had waited an hour for the table so should try the food Atleast. I will say that the waitress we had was lovely and the coffee was good but the pancakes were average. The portion size was great though but they weren’t anything special and we were just disappointed with the experience at the beginning of our visit so it had really put a downer on the morning. Sadly we wouldn’t return or recommend, much better places out there guys!

Amazing experience, gotta recommend the American Breakfast and Biscoff Pancakes. The staff are lovely and considering the quality of food the service time is also great

We went for pancakes, been before and really enjoyed it. Today our pancakes were doughy and not pleasant. Not once did anyone approach our table to ask if we needed anything else or how our food was. We eventually gave up, paid online and left. When leaving I spoke to a staff member about our food but she just giggled. Nothing great about the service or food today unfortunately.

The food was good. Im usually so excited for the pancake week specials but they were a bit unimaginative and basic. All nice but nothing that memorable. The text table confirmation is a good system. We had to ask for water more than once. The staff were very young and not very engaging.

Everytime i go to Josie's, evry table is full. This shows how popular it is. The food is always unbelievable, even when ordered as a takeaway. Staff are polite and will try to accomodate everyone.

I had pancakes, which were delicious. The tea was also really lovely.

How can it be scrambled eggs on toast when 4 halves of toast stacked on one side of plate and a pile of mixed up eggs on other side, not even scrambled, more like an omelette broken up. That was a let down!

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Josie's. Hearty, delicious food and a great atmosphere. My only criticism would be that the cups and milk jug could have done with a better clean.

Our favourite brunch spot, make a really nice cup of coffee, so rare to find it done this well.

A lot of my friends have told me this place is good and it truly lives up to it. Top tier food and brilliant and lovely staff. 10/10

Josies is amazing! My only criticism is that there isn’t one closer to Barnham where I live! Having said that, it doesn’t stop us coming.

Usually have one of their 3 different sized fry ups depending upon how hungry I am, which are very good quality. Today had the avocado on toast with poached eggs which was tasty as well as healthy! Milkshakes are excellent. Good value prices.
