John’s Kebab in Cambridge

I probably wouldn’t go again. Wasn’t a pleasant experience. I called to get a takeout to pick it up, brioche in the burger went all soggy since it was not packed properly, with all the toppings in it and fries were just nasty, way too much of a portion. Couldn’t even hold it and gave up as it tasted so unpleasant overally. Had few bites the rest ended up going to the bin. Got overcharged as well.

Super quality and quantity of the food...

🤬😡🤬😡 I was happy with the food, today I placed an order for 2 doner chicken and fries, I went to the co-op for a drink, I came back to get the order and at home it turned out I had 2x lamb Donner, I came back to exchange the order, the owner did not accept it and I had to pay a second time It cost me £29 and no apology from the owner!!!!!!!

Good kebab stand and very accessible. Food is nice compared to others.

Better than diamond kebab and freshly cooked

I bought a doner kebab. I used to buy frequently from this place and it was always really good I’ve not gone for over a year. Unfortunately it’s not what it used to be. There were bones in the doner and it felt gross. It upset my stomach and had diarrhoea. It’s unfortunate to say but they have obviously dropped the quality and I won’t be going there again. It’s a shame they’re nice and polite but never again.

Came several times every time when we come we are getting more and more Delicious kebab under best price. Quality and quantity is over than the price. Better service. Will definitely come back

Best wrap i’ve had and it was only £6. Make sure to ask for yogurt & mint sauce it’s really delicious.

It's OK. They always serve me donor from the heated grease tub. it's always super greasy..

Stopped as a one off on way home from racing as it was late and was very surprised, nice little food wagon on side of the road, super clean and staff were very friendly. Everything cooked fresh in front of you and food was lovely definitely will be trying the again next time.

Had a halloumi wrap, chicken burger and lamb doner. Amazing, good price and big portions. The guys were very friendly and polite

Can’t rave enough about John’s kebabs. It’s become our neighborhood spot and a weekly go-to. Nicest people, most delicious kebabs. My regular is the special chicken kebab, my husband goes with the doner wrap. So flavorful and juicy, and great portion sizes.

We were in central Cambridge and the pub we were in closed the kitchen on us right when we were ordering. We went back to our place and found John's kebab open, as they are open until late. We ordered two chicken kebabs and waited no more than 10 minutes (they made all our food right in the moment and fresh). The portions were super generous and the price was fair. The food was delicious, the chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy, the chips tasted great (they seem to use fresh oil regularly) and the salad included with our kebabs was fresh and clean. Excellent, would recommend to anyone who has a late shift and wants some good food before a late bedtime. Will come back to try the Donner!

Ordered 2 doner wraps small chips and mozzarella sticks, come to over £20 absolute rip off not even worth it. Won't be going back!

The people who word here are nice, the atmosphere outside the van is always lovely. Right next to a cash point for convenience. Kebab tastes great would recommend

Low quality and restaurant prices

Me and my partner had a very kebab the other day. Full of flavour and very friendly staff. We will use John's kebab again. Definitely recommend. Thank you very much.

Had a large mixed kebab full of grease and only 5 bits of chicken. Didn't enjoy waste of money. On a small mixed kebab you get 5 piece of chicken and you charged me £8:50 for it.

I swear it is the best kebab I've eaten in the UK. Brother Ali knows how to make the best kebab and uncle John is the man, well played boys. That's a true story! Thanks guys ❤
