Very friendly owner. he was able to mix and match breakfast items to suit our needs. Great coffee as always. Been there on many occasions and looking forward to many more.

Another great lunch, popped in for a quick bite, the tomato & mozzarella sandwich is worth another visit just for that! Great coffee, freshly made food, even homemade bread & tea cakes. Not expensive but top quality everything. Joe is lovely and always has professional, friendly staff with him too. We will be back many more times

Amazing coffee and service with a smile. Unfortunately didn't get to try the food this time but the homemade shortbread served with the coffee was delicious. My new favourite in Paignton. :)

So many unpleasant greasy cafes in the area and we were lucky enough to find this gem. Great menu. Freshly cooked and killer coffee.

This cafe was recommended by a friend in torquay. We came for breakfast which was awesome! Quality breakfast cooked perfectly, with excellent coffee. Plenty of options and very tasty! Can’t wait to come back, a perfect finish to our wonderful weekend in torquay.

We came across this cafe on a daytrip to Paignton. We can't fault it. We both had a full English breakfast which was cooked to order and was delicious. We were made to feel very welcome and service was spot on. We tnought the prices were very reasonable too. It's just a shame that we don't live locally so that we can visit often!

As a family with two small children, we felt really welcomed. Joey was helpful, kind and thoughtful. The food was amazing. Best spring rolls we have ever had and the kids are amazingly too. Thank you and we can’t wait to return.

staff are so friendly and food was all home cooked as-well as fresh also dog friendly would definitely recommend to anyone looking at a bite to eat or hot drink!

Happened upon Joey’s Cafe - popped in for a coffee, not knowing anything about it. Had the best coffee I’ve had in a long while. They were super friendly and the place was very clean. I ended up getting some wonderful, homemade spring rolls. Looking forward to going back for another coffee, more spring rolls and trying other items off their menu or special board.

I only came across this the other day and I live in Paignton. Thought we would go in for a coffee, but also decided to have some food. Despite the new place opening up around the corner, looking all fab and new; it doesn’t come anywhere near the standard of food in Joey’s. I have to say 10/10, and wouldn’t hesitate on recommending to anyone. Hope people give Joey’s a try, as I don’t think they would want to go anywhere else in Paignton. Anne

Joey is a top guy with coffee and service to match. Only had a couple of coffees but they were so good, large mug and very reasonably priced. Although I didn't eat the two ladies next to me were singing their praises of the food. Highly recommend a visit, will be back!

I don't have to go to Paignton often but was amazed with this cafe. The friendly service and the food was amazing. I had a beef stir fry with rice and it was the best stir fry I have ever eaten. Will definitely return there when next in Paignton which should be next week

We popped into Joeys today for a late breakfast and it was just amazing! Fresh, tasty food and just wonderful service ☺️ super clean too! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Needed food in Paighton at lunchtime, definitely not wanting greasy spoon fare, stumbled upon Joey 's cafe up the hill a bit. Brill ! Well looked after , tasty food , not exhorbitant prices. Well done Joey and Zoe. Well recommended.

My wife and I were in Paignton and decided to find somewhere for lunch. Came across Joey’s by chance and what a great find! We had a grilled chicken sandwich and a BLT (served on home made focaccia with chips and salad garnish) along with 2 Americanos. Freshly cooked food with homemade bread and good quality ingredients. The breakfast menu looked fantastic with full English and various other options available. Will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend a visit to this new venture.

Lovely little cafe near the post office in paignton town, lovely friendly service, clean and well presented, 5* food hygiene rating, absolutely beautiful homemade local fresh food.
