Not a huge selection of buffet but what was there was fresh delicious and well presented only concern is the place doesn't look the cleanest

Myself and my partner popped in for our first time and we were extremely disappointed. We had to wait about 20 mins for the buffet to open as they were "refreshing the food" (lady explained its coz it's a mini buffet and only put out so much at a time). There wasn't a lot of choice and no choice of "world" foods other than Chinese or indian. Soup cauldron was empty when we looked in it, "oh we have cream of chicken soup in the kitchen if you want some"...eh yes please!! As we walked away with food already on our plates she said she'd bring soup to us, which she did while we were eating our main that wasn't very appetising. We started eating the soup that tasted like mushroom with chicken and bits of sweet corn stuck to it 😑 and was really salty, we couldn't eat it!! We expressed our disappointment to the lady and queried the "world" buffet title..."oh we have pizza too, I forgot to ask if you wanted it"!! This is when we'd had enough and decided to leave!!

Marvelous full off character and characters,staff great ,got. My pint brought to my table was Guinness so a bit of time to pour and all this before 11am 😀

Kirkland RoadSadly this place has reverted to the quiet as the grave boozer that it used to be. The new owners started off with good intentions, selling great food and adding an IPA to the usual Tennent's and Fosters. Unfortunately the food service was cut to weekends and now doesn't seem to be being served at all. I wouldn't go in here again unless it was for food. They've closed one of the doors all the time, forcing you to enter via the bar and have the usual barflies stare at you as you walk past. Not very welcoming. It's a shame that this place has basically turned the clock back to the bad old days of the Glendale.
