Great authentic food, packaged well, has been great every time

Shocking, ordered at 3pm food due to be delivered at 4.45pm shocking service for them to cancel our order at 4.30pm

Omg .. the food here is delicious - fresh and fragrant . I always opt for the curry with rice and spicy fries… always a queue , but that just shows the food is great and authentic

The food was so lovely, the meal and everything and worth the money, quality Caribbean authentic meal, I'd fancy ordering it again. (This was last week from Delivery) Ages ago and first time... I went in there good music when they play and the staff there were nice and friendly.

Really nice! Never order Caribbean food as “to overpriced, not worth the money”. This was Worth every penny. Plenty of meat, plantain, dumplings rice all perfect it was all delicious. Thankyou ! x

Mouthwatering food.. we had the curried goat and it was flavourful,melt in the mouth goodness!. My Husband had the ackee and saltfish and it was delicious.. very nice home cooked comfort food..would definitely recommend. The staff are friendly. So glad to have this on our door step!.

Ordered the XL platter for 2: curry goat, jerk chicken, rice n peas, dumplings and plantain with 2 drinks tor £19. Superb quality, flavour and value, possibly the best Caribbean we've had. Mrs loved the goat curry, lovely soft juicy pieces. 1/4 chicken piece was perfect as we're sides . First time ordering after driving by all too often. Was busy which was a good sign, 5-10 min wait with deliveroo and uber collections but all good. Will definitely be back. Halal confirmed by owners

First time user. Was recommended by a relative. I had the 2 mains and 2 rice and 1 extra chip deal. £14-50. I don't think it was £14-50's worth as i almost finished it outside in my car. I think £10-50 is a more reasonable price for the amount i got. The bigger deal at £18-50 looked to be the better value and i wish i had that instead. The amount of the bigger deal looked double of the smaller deal. Food was lovely and when i order again, i will have the bigger £18-50 deal as i could make 2 meals from it. To sum up, food and service and staff are great, but needs to be a bigger gap price wise between the 2 meal deals. That doesn't mean putting up the price of the bigger deal @£18-50, but to lower the smaller deal price to around £10-50 to make it more realistic with the amount of food involved! Keep doing what you are doing, and your food is lovely and i recommended you to a few people, but advised to have bigger meal deal!!

Flavour and quality 10/10 Chicken fell off the bone! Loved the tomato, onions and Bell pepper with the fish. Rice and peas were good and Saucy fries were super flavourful. Highly recommended!

We found this establishment by chance, literally driving past, but we're so pleased we did. Very tasty food, especially the chicken curry, and exceptionally well priced. Staff were friendly and professional. However, the most significant thing for me is that the kitchen is open, so I could see my food being prepared. Highly recommended!

Tried for the first time food was 10/10 and staff very polite and catered to mine and my sons needs definitely recommend and will be going back again if i could give more stars i would my son had chicken curry and i had goat curry

This food shop here is special. I had curry goat with rice and peas, dumplings, jerk chicken, and sauce on fries. The food is incredible; I highly rate it and would also go as far as to say it is one of the best Caribbean takeaways to eat in Leicester.

The food was tasty. The premises is small but good music waiting for your food. Guaranteed you will go back for more food.

Wanted to go here since seen opened and went tonight. Was not disappointed. Didant realise they closed at 9 and rolled in at 9.30. Chef gave me his portion curried goat as wanted to try it. Also had plantane and dumplings. Food was fantastic. Staff polite and helpful. Will be back but will make sure it’s earlier in day so can try other options. I’m sure there as good. 6 out of 5 stars 👍

Wanted to order just rice and peas with sauce from the curry chicken and the staff were more than accomodating. They sorted me a meal that wasn't on the menu at a very reasonable price. Service was amazing and the food even better! 10/10 will definitely be going back!

The Food does not disappoint! We have had the salt fish with ackee and the saltfish with callaloo both are divine. The curried goat is tender and seasoned beautifully. The dumplins are cooked to perfection. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. So glad to have this shop on our doorstep would definitely recommend. And wish the staff all the success.
