JJs Café in North Tyneside

Over priced Waited half an hour for my food, plates were dirty, rude staff and service. Overcharged me and didnt get correct change back.

Went in got told that they were only serving toasties but then the staff had friends in eating chips !! And the place was more like a creche that anything else . Why advertise food at two for £5 then not offer it . And coffee was poor .

Terrible customer service, loads of dirty tables, dirty plates and cups everywhere. Asked for 2 diet coke's got given plastic bottles no glasses or straws. I wont be back... ever

Was in this cafe and one if the poor members of staff were told to f.... off numerous times by the so called supervisor Maria, it was absolutely disgusting in front of children too. Surely owners and management alike would not condone this type of behaviour

Mixed bag. The food is very nice but some of the staff are surly at best and outright rude at worst.

Seems to run out of meats like chicken beef or pork

Been in on friday best place to eat for a little lunch Or breakfast , Teresa cooked brilliant breakfast so sad she wasn’t in the day was looking forward for a breakfast

Food good, but staff need to take notice of customer comment's even if they do JUST WORK HERE. Cutlery needs to be clean.

Great, staff are friendly, tables are clean and the floors are spotless, the decor is very pretty with a modern and homely twist. Food is great as quick snack or meal and portion sizes are great. Recommended.

absolutely awful never going back

After queuing for quite a while, along with a guy behind us, a woman and her friend stood arrogantly away from the queue and the employee from JJ’s asked ‘would we mind it if the woman and her friend were served 1st? Needless to say we left and went to Greggs and got a cappuccino and bun for £2.25. They know how to do customer service with a smile.

How disgusting not letting a heavily pregnant lady use the toilet because she wasnt a customer Shame on you and your business

Basic but clean. Good portions and good prices. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
