favourite Chinese around. Delicious food, nice and hot even if you don't eat it straight away. reasonably priced too

called the Jimmy's as the wings were bright red, red sauce poured on salt n pepper wings. They did not taste like bbq at all so told the lady at the takeaway on the phone she told me they were bbq. I guess my 40 years I didn't know bbq flavour till today 😆. I wouldn’t recommend even buying a can of coke from them.

My food came after a 2 hour 20 minute wait, they gave me £3 back as an apology!!! Told they were busy, not my fault !!! Don’t take orders if you can’t handle it busy !! Very disappointed service, the lady on the phone said my food was sat getting cold for 20 minutes waiting for a driver. Never again “, food came and was obviously sat around for a long time waiting to be delivered as it was look warm, work all week to spend £25 on one meal as a treat to my self and it was a major disappointment

Extremely rude. service with a face like their mum had just died. The chips taste like they've been cooked every night for a month ....inedible. curry I can't describe without swearing muck. Dim sum greasier than john trovaltas hair in Grease

no we are glad it was early than waiting over a hour. the food was amazing. cooked to perfection. definitely be recommended to family and friends.

Ordered food at 18:45 came at 20:45 rang up and they said on way, I thought Christmas will come sooner! Food was mediocre, poor really. Sad that there is not a decent Chinese/Cantonese restaurant in chadderton!

Salt and pepper prawns not great at all, bbq spareribs very tough and chewy , salt and pepper lamb is questionable it was awful and we couldn’t eat it did not taste of Lamb infact it was tasteless . Chicken fried rice was like boiled rice and hardly any chicken just very poor this was first time using this takeaway wil be the last

This is hands down the best Chinese takeaway we've ever ordered from. When our favourite Chinese takeaway (Young's on Ashton Rd, Oldham) sadly closed a few years ago we tried loads of other Chinese takeaways, but nothing compared until we discovered Jimmy's on Partington Street Failsworth. The food at Jimmy's tastes pretty much identical to Young's. We've ordered from Jimmy's loads of times since discovering him a couple of months ago. Absolutely gorgeous food, so tasty, freshly cooked and their delivery service is excellent. Food is always piping hot. We won't go anywhere else now. Give Jimmy's a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered half boiled rice half chips(my wife is allergic to egg. Sent egg fried rice then spent 5 minutes on the phone arguing with them telling me it's not egg while we are looking at the egg. They could have sent my wife to hospital. Obviously don't care about customers at all.

Won't be ordering from here again, salt and pepper beef and chicken cold, dry and rock hard. Disgusting. The bbq sauce was pure salt and after putting it on my rice, that was also ruined. After paying £30 and waiting for it to arrive for my tea it was inedible.

What happpend with free prawn crackers after so much.. £50!!! An still no free prawn crackers. Cured with this Jimmy..

Missing items from order. Had to visit the shop to correct the order.

After ordering from here I was told 35-45 minutes waited nearly two hours which if it was a really good takeaway and at weekend I would expect and appreciate but to be honest the food was mediocre at best. I tried to make contact with the takeaway but the lady didn’t speak very good English, although I don’t speak any mandarin, I wouldn’t order again I’m afraid 😩

I order all the time from Jimmys, my order was like it was cooked by a different chef, burnt seaweed no seasoning on salt and pepper fish. No egg in the egg fried rice… shocking, should get a refund!!!

All food was extremely bland and very salty, veg in mixed chow mein was soggy/over cooked and meat was chopped into tiny pieces with no taste, very sparce and no prawns, very dissapointed.

Spent £60 on a meal which was poor. Ordered fillet steak in black bean sauce, 3 pieces and one with grissle on it. Chicken nuggets was that over cooked it was just crispy batter! Chicken was tasteless in chicken and mushroom soup, and it looks like dish water, so disappointed as its normally good

Food not ready or even started to be cooked when i arrived for collection time ,waited nearly half an hour for my dishes that i ordered for collection . No apology for waiting while they started to cook it . Shop was empty and not many orders phoned in while i waited .food was ok but i wont use them again .

Food was fab and fresh as always (dim sum is amazing and I'm really picky). Noodles are so tasty, not greasy and horrible like a lot of places. Really recommend :)

Amazeballs sweet and sour chicken balls and noodles. Portion sizes are huge really good value for money. Staff friendly food always hot and delivered quickly. menu has something for everyone.

Not happy at all .... my salt and pepper chicken arrived just plain chicken 🤔 my egg fried rice had barely any egg I actually had to move the rice around the plate to find the tiniest scrap of egg I ordered 2 portions of each and they were totally tasteless 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️👀😡

Disgraceful customer service. Went into the shop to order food and the woman behind the counter simply ignored us for 5 minutes. We politely asked “excuse me” to grab her attention (after it became obvious she was ignoring us)… she then just turned her back altogether . She could have easily said “really sorry, we’re a little busy, I won’t be long” but instead ignored us completely. I walked out and will never return. Shambolic.

Rude. Went into Jimmy’s to make an order as I’m new to the area and was stood there for about 10 minutes being completely ignored (Fair enough if they were busy but no one else was in there). The lady behind the counter just purely ignored me. After another 5 minutes I said excuse me three times so I could make the order or at least receive some sort of acknowledgement but again, completely ignored and not even looked at. Walked out and went elsewhere. Completely ignorant. Will never go here.

ordered the food at 6 so at the latest it would supposedly arrive at 7 it is now 8: i phoned the shop 2 times in between this delivery and each time they were un interested and un informative … me and my partner are very disappointed in this poor customer service and would like it to either be inspected or refunded as we literally starved

Sent gravy instead of curry and spring rolls were full of gristle. Ate from here loads of times and never had a problem before. Help section in the app does not contain a link to report this, and the number for shop is wrong/dead so could not get this fixed. Disappointed tonight.

Food quality is awful chicken was disgusting, salt and pepper chips and chicken was tasteless. And it was all cold. Chow mien was tasteless and the sauce was like jelly. Worst Chinese ever.

Chow mein wasn't nice...chips were hard and barely warm.

The salt and pepper chicken had no spice or taste just crispy chicken and the chicken chow mein was very bland and cold

Ordered my food at 7.30 didn’t turn up till gone 9.30 and was freezing cold and was swimming in grease and tasted funny spend £30 on a order for it to be delivered late and freezing never ever again will I order from these!

Fab food. Was a bit late but well worth the wait! Their chicken with ginger is amazing (you get the zing of fresh ginger unlike a lot of places.) Sweet and sour soup is lush too.

The food at Jimmy's is flavourfull and lovey the place is nicely furnished. Staff are very kind. The menu has alot of variety and good warnings for allergies. If you order on the phone it takes ages

Not used this place for a while due to a bad experience with the food. My Daughter ordered from here and wow, on this occasion, th food was amazing , very tasty, piping hot . Needless to say, we will be using this place again.

I really enjoyed the meal I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and a chop suet roll.For a change I’m so glad I did that’s another dish I’ll be having.And before you say anything I only had half I shared the rest.😊👍

I collected my order from the shop personally but on opening it it was all covered in grease, the scollop was literally pouring with oil which had leaked onto the rest of the order. My chips and my partners chips had what i can only explain as grit on them to the point where we left 80% of them. The sausage was just to greasy and was also left half eaten. Just not a good experience and a complete waste of my money

If u want your food sometime this year, don’t order by phone. The wait was agonising. I was told 50 minutes. The food arrived 20 minutes after the original wait time. I looked out of my window and to my astonishment the delivery driver had put the box of food on my car roof 🤬. I made my feeling very clear to the driver. The food was ok and reasonably priced, however I didn’t think much to the special fried rice. where was the meat? The wait time and the driver is the reason for the 2 stars. Next time I’ll pick it 🆙

I always eat the main first while it's hot , and eat the 1/4 duck and pancakes later when l opened the bag l was horrified the duck was not just burnt but cremated it was uneditable,by the time l found out the Chinese was closed,the next day l phoned them the lady could not understand me and to be honest I don't think she was interested when you spend £28 you expect everything to be ok .l told them l will not be ordering again,l gave them a chance to put it right but they did nothing

This Chinese is one of the best in Failsworth! Never had a problem, delivery driver always welcoming and the food is just spot on!

Delivery time and staff were fine but overall food was just not nice. My chowmein was slimy, my prawn toast was tastless and my duck was over crisped. Overall disappointing.

We had prawn toast and chicken spring rolls for starters these were very nice. chicken curry was way to thick and bland, beef was very nice and tender which we had in pepper sauce also bland, salt and pepper noodles where nice although not very salt and pepper tasted just like normal soft noodles tbo, fried rice was nice and soft. Maybe some use of MSG would make the dishes nice.

Tasteless, we've had Jimmy's a few times before and it's always been spot on but tonight I was highly disappointed with the quality. Put me off now, sorry won't be using again.

Customer service is no existent. Ordered in good faith. Told 1 hour. Over anhour later then told another 15 minutes. Rang again to be told another 40 minutes then put the phone down on me!!!

Ive tried all of the local Chinese restaurants. Jimmy's has the best food by far.

Overall the food was good. I had sweet and sour pork with fried rice and it was lovely. Plenty of meat and veg. The potato scallop was amazing. The chop suey roll was nice but very small for the price. My partner had mixed meat in Cantonese ok sauce with beef fried rice. He wasn't as keen on his meal. He thought the beef fried rice was very dry and not keen on the sauce. Chips a bit soggy but that was not the take aways fault. Just because they were wrapped up. A 2 minute blast in the air fryer brought them back to life. Would order again, my partner said his food was 4/6 and mine was a 6/6 so gave a 5 overall. No notification to say food on its way which is very annoying but a common issue with just eat restaurants.

We have ordered from Jimmys for years but it’s been getting steadily worse and last nights meal was inedible. £40 wasted, we won’t be ordering again. Delivery driver was nice but everything else terrible. Plus , And all have dodgy tummies today.

The food from here is normally on point , however tonight it was warm just about , greasy chops and lumpy curry , I’m not sure if they had a different chef in there but it was not up to the standard it usually is from here
