After some unwelcome experiences in the town Jill’s was like a breath of fresh air. Smiling faces, warm welcome and lovely breakfast. Thank you Jill

We used to go here very regularly for a weekend breakfast but stopped when it changed ownership a year or two ago. Think we should have kept going!!! We got two breakfast items for carry out this morning and they were great. Personally recommend any filled soda. Every tourist from outside Ireland needs to try a filled soda, a proper bacon sandwich and an Ulster fry. Jill’s is the spot to do it. Simple cafe, no nonsense breakfast and the usual down to earth north coast friendliness. Deserves to keep doing well.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on my last weekend in Northern Ireland before I return home to the USA. The staff are lovely, especially our waitress; very attentive. The food was also just as great. I wanted to get a real fry before I went home to the states and I'm so glad we stopped here. I also loved how everyone who came in knew Jill, it made the experience very lovely and much like back home in the small town I live in. Will definitely be back next summer when in NI again and will be bringing my whole family!

The place we wanted to go for breakfast was booked out so we walked up the street to Jill's Kitchen and I'm glad we did. This place deserves more breakfast trade because it offers a good cooked breakfast for a reasonable price and a quick service. If only the tourists would walk up the street they would find it.

We had a family breakfast here on the way through Bushmills. Good choice on the breakfast menu, food made fresh to order (with a slight wait because of that), and excellent value with friendly service.

Les plats ne sont pas terribles. Les quantités en accord avec les petits prix. La décoration minimale, l'endroit n'est pas très convivial. C'est ok pour manger un truc vite fait le midi.

Well my sausages were black as coal and very crispy and Munchy. The bread was out of date and found so many mounds in it which violet checked with her binoculars. No one smiled or welcomed us with a cheery heart. The fork I used was half bent and looked as if it hadn't been washed in donkeys. The girl who served me seemed very scared and we never got to see Jill herself. I ordered eggs and the yolk was extremely hard and squishy. The chairs were hard and the place smelt of grease. I never want to go here again in my life please and thank yous xx

Great service and great food. We had a burger, stew, and a BLT. Sandwiches made to order! Cowboy burger was very flavorful and juicy! Remember that this is a small town cafe, not a gourmet restaurant! Next we're in town, we'll be back!

We were directed to this establishment, by a local shopkeeper, late on a Sunday afternoon when searching for a place to eat that served local food. The restaurant tables varied in size and were closely packed. We both had the Irish stew which was pretty nondescript in taste/flavour. We should have had the Sunday lunch options that were also displayed on the menu board, they looked more appetising. However, the friendliness of the owners was unbeatable.

Dropped by here for lunch. Family of 8. Never have I had a more disappointing meal. Soup with a half slice of bread - come on! Requested more and got handed 2 more slices, handed, not on a plate! Absolutey disgusting.

We called in here for a cooked Saturday morning breakfast and found the choices to be extensive and better than expected. There was no rush and just as well because there was quite a wait while our scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked, but they were delicious.

We happened upon this place because it was the only one that was open that we could find at the time. The two women working were both very nice and accommodating. We were trying to get out of the rain and it was nice to find some place warm to sit and eat. The food was okay but nothing overly exciting.
