Putrid. Absolutely vile. Had the pork rib and rice, expecting meat and rice ( though I know what a rib is, I didn't expect my meal to be bone with no meat and rice. I'm not eating this filth.

A bit expensive but its really good, out of all the food joints in spitafields , I would rate this in the top 3. So definitely try it. I usually take the Jiaba Box , I really like the egg soaked in tea they give , suggestion : maybe you should give 2 halves :) and add sausages rather than the fried stuff.

yummy, authentic food with a “cooked by your auntie” kind of feel. Got the rice box for 9.75, quite expensive but so satisfying.... the Taiwanese sausage is really good. My boyfriend chimes in “it was very good!” Hope you try it and love it !

The service is fast. I don't know about the rest of the menu but the beef nudels is horrible. I don't recommend that dish.

So excited that we found a place to have traditional Taiwan food in London where’s so far away from home! The braised pork rice was amazing. Recommend it to anyone who missed home or fancy in trying something fantastic.

Good food friendly service. Basic but meets the needs. Fill up and booze away. cheap alcohol meant the night was wholesome. worth a visit.

Service was great but the food itself was horrid. Took one bite of my meal and the doner meat meal (mixed) was different temperatures, with the lamb being cold and the chicken being lukewarm. Overall taste wasn't there either. Very likely that I caught acute food poisoning.

This branch of Roka is not what it used to be. Hopefully the others do not reflect this. On arrival both lifts to the restaurant were out of order, & there was no signage to let us know where to go. Staff did not seem to know what was going on & did not see to care. The food when it came was a shadow of its former self. The tuna tartare was ok, but is no longer served in a cold pot with egg to mix in. The sauce with the spinach tasted watered down from its former loveliness. We sent back the black cod and crab dumplings and the sweet potato tempura. The former tasted like old crab only and was watery. The latter was far too greasy to be called tempura. We did enjoy the broccoli and a couple of other dishes but they still weren't up to old standards. Really hoping the other Rokas haven't gone downhill as well. It would be such a shame.
