Mostly take away but there's a ledge where you could eat in if you want. James is a great cook. Fantastic customer service. The food is so good. Big portions reasonably priced. Pleace is spotless .

Buena relación calidad-precio, buena comida y servicio amable. Es modesto, y el tipo de lugar del que normalmente te llevarías, pero mi novia y yo nos hemos sentado y comido en Jerk Hut algunas veces y nos encanta. Siempre obtenemos estofado de verduras, arroz y guisantes, plátano y una bola de masa. Mi única crítica sería desearía que tuvieran una mejor variedad de salsa picante, pero ese soy yo.

Excelente comida, especialmente el cordero al curry, arroz y guisantes y albóndigas. Realmente auténtico y el personal es amable. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.

Apareció de improviso. El personal es muy amable y la comida se sirve rápidamente. Hermoso y auténtico curry de cordero en el hueso. Arroz con especias y verduras. Gran valor para el dinero. Un montón de gente para llevar, siempre, muy poco popular.

I went to this restaurant, intending to just have a small takeaway snack. I ended up having curried mutton and seasoned rice; and thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly staff too and good customer service. Keep it up.

THE WORST TAKEAWAY I HAVE EVER HAD. The curry was tasteless and had so much oil which I had to drain the oil. No salt whatsoever just so blunt. The only thing that was decent was the plantain. AVOID ORDERING FROM HERE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY.

The food is great but most times I have been here the staff are always shouting or arguing or just talking loudly and feels slightly uncomfortable as it seems they forget the are running a business and have customers sat indoors listening to their conversations.Comes across unprofessional. Also if you don;t mention the words "lunchtime special" expect to be charged full price even if you are ordering food within the times stated on the menu. Unless you tell them you get charged full price and they will not mention the offer. I do love the food but i would say order it s a takeaway if your looking for quiet space to eat.

First time I been to Jerk hut for takeaway today. I got warm welcome by the lady behind the counter with a big smile. I never tried ox-tail before and bless the chef gave me sample to try. The kitchen team are very friendly and helpful. The food are amazing, well balanced and value for money. I have been in catering industry x customer service for years and Jerk Hut team has made me feel welcome and interested in me as a customer. Well done, and highly reccomended

Popped in here for lunch and was impressed with both the quality and the quantity of the food. I had a big plate filled with jerk wings, spiced rice, salad and a mutton gravy- all delicious. The staff were friendly too. Pleased to have this place in Sheffield, especially as it is so central.

This restaurant typifies why so many Caribbean restaurants go under. Half of the menu is wasn’t available today. When you go to a West Indian restaurant and curried mutton and rice and peas isn’t available because it’s not cooked yet you just know there are hard times ahead! Had to settle for the oxtail which was as tough as old boots. I won’t be going again which is a shame because West Indian food when done well is a great cuisine but apathy reigns here.

Great customer service and good quality Caribbean food in a comfortable and well-decorated atmosphere. More than a good takeaway but also a great place to sit down and eat for special occasions.

My mum took me here after reading the reviews of several Jamaican restaurants in Sheffield, this had the best rating so thought we’d try. Walked in and the place was very clean. Mum got curried mutton and season rice and I got curried chicken with rice and peas, we got 2 veg patties on the side, fried salt fish and fried plantain. The food was GORGEOUS. It was fresh, tasty and well seasoned (oh, and halal!) I have tried Jamaican food before and been disappointed/disheartened as it was not well made. As a mixed race person looking to discover more about my heritage, this place is a game changer and made me proud to say, this is the food of my people!
