That was some joke jerk pork!! Better for them to tell me that it finished, instead they gave me end cuts with bone and gristle plus it had no flavour. Bloody poor pathetic excuse for Jamaican cookery. I won’t try them again. Waste of £16, I would’ve been better going to McDonald’s

Picked up a takeaway which was excellent. Great jerk chicken rice and peas. Snapper came with two sauces. Very. Friendly service too

I purchased bbq chicken, bbq wings and rice and peas. The rice was stale and dry and the chicken you could clearly tell had gone off.

This is a family run restaurant. I ate here soon after it opened. We had an Ackee & Saltfish meal - £ 8.50 and a Coley fish meal - £ 9.50 We also had 1 festival and plantain. This restaurant is more suited to take away food and not for restaurant dining. The young lady serving was friendly, but I will not rush back.

Came here with my partner last week Sunday for our dinner, every single mouthful was delightful. I highly recommend this place. every single thing I have ever had from here has been on point. defiantly worth the money. Try a piece of cake while you're here too they are all light and fluffy.

My husband and family are West Indian so we have very, very high standards for this type of food. We have had at least 10 big meals from here (for quite a number of us) and the food is EXQUISITE. I don't know how anyone couldn't rate this as excellent. Everything we have had is delicious. My mother in law, being elderly, doesn't eat much but ate a huge plate full of their food. It has become a once a week meal for us (at least). Divine and faultless....and HUGE portions.

Hi we hired this business for a birthday party for 150 guests the food was cold and the hot plates and the burners underneath were not on we had guests complaining and they do not enjoy the food because it was cold I would not be using them again has this happened to other people please comment below

One of the rare times my order isn't cancelled an hour after ordering with no explanation or apology

After waiting for an hour, we called the restaurant and the person at the other end clearly could not care any less about the fact that our order hadn’t shown up. They said Just Eat cancelled my order and to take it up with them. I contacted JE and they said that after contacting the restaurant, the restaurant said they didn’t want to do deliveries today so just didn’t bother doing anything. They could have at least contacted me so I could order elsewhere rather than sitting here waiting for nothing. Useless.

Food was good and we enjoyed it. It wasn’t very clear online that all the dishes come with rice as we ordered additional for the fish dishes. Plantin was not on the Just Eat menu and we had to order 2 sides in store on collection but there’s a minimum spend of £5 to pay with contactless - slightly frustrating when you just made a big order for 6 online.

Had a lovely mutton curry with rice/ peas and coleslaw for lunch was absolutely lovely. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Couple of lovely helpful girls serving also.

Ordered four takeaway meals on Sat 3 November at 6.50. They arrived at approximately 8.40, even though delivery time was 7.40 and then quickly jumped to 8.10 after I'd paid. This is not the worst. The worst is that my husband looked put of the window at 8.40 to check it was the delivery driver after he'd heard a car door slam. To his and my absolute horror, my husband saw the delivery driver doing a wee on the side of the road. I told him to get outside quickly so as not to give the driver a chance to touch our food with his dirty get my hands. Being the nice person he is, my husband went outside and without any fuss managed to get to the food before the driver was able to touch it. Personally I would have had words about his disgusting unhygenic display. He got an easy ride. To top it off the food was disgusting. Nobody in the house finished their meal. Suffice to say we won't be eating from Jerk Garden (Beckenham) or any of their other branches again.

Food arrived 11/2 hours after order and although, so was cold on arrival. Food was advertised as coming with ‘rice and peas’, but no rice and peas were delivered. Resurant was helpful enough when called, but very disappointed overall.

As suggested in the title my review is for the branch in clockhouse Beckenham Only popped in for s quick lunch takeaway. The curry chicken was served piping hot and generously sized for the five pound price tag / will be going back with the family to eat in. The place looked clean and fresh and the service was with a smile / you don’t get that in every Caribbean restaurant.

The food took 2.5 hours to be delivered and the restaurant did not even feel the need to call and tell us. We constantly had to phone for updates and were told it will be '10 mins' every single time.

if i could leave zero stars i would i ordered at 8:20 and have just recieved my meal at 11pm its unacceptable , they apologised and offered a complimentary meal so i guess one star will do

ordered mistakenly to pick up from restaurant. contacted them they said they would deliver. no food arrived. contacted them again we phoned you and rang at the door. this did not happen. paid for no food. - dishonest. no one came to our front door I guarantee this. I would have cancelled order as soon as I realised initial error if I’d have thought that a restaurant considered this as good practice

Really nice food, always taste fresh but we only received one salad instead of two and the salad was a little brown. Also, waiting time as too long but such nice customer service and lovely food.

Customer service is the worst experience ever, they messed up my order and the chicken is flavourless. Jerk chicken bland, stew chicken bland, over priced, cake and dumplings are extremely dry. I would only recommend if very hungry.

The food is always excellent. The service in store is excellent if not a bit slow. The delivery service is really below average. I have had orders cancelled without warning and had to phone to find out they didn't know if I was happy to wait an hour and didn't bother contact me. I've had a delivery hours late and no one answer the phone or contact me. I was phoning for ages. Every time it is very late and no one contacts me or updates the eta on the app. Today they even marked it as delivered and the food hadn't left the restaurant yet! Please be more realistic with estimates and communicate with customers. Let us make informed decisions. Restaurant is amazing and I love the expansion but please improve this. (I put delivery as good as I didn't want to affect ratings)

Can’t complain about the food. I ordered rice & peas without knowing and their rice and peas were one of the best that I’ve tasted. The service that I received over the phone because I had called up to ask where my food was as it was an hour late was really good, the woman was very polite and apologetic which was a pleasant surprise as most restaurants are rude, and even offered to compromise for being late. Overall really good and will definitely be ordering again

Probably the best jerk in the south but the staff could have less of an attitude. The hygiene is not so great. Can see dirt on the tables and glasses so wouldn't advice eating in. Take away only.

Been here so many times over the years, numerous times in the past 2 months. The food is very very tasty. From the stew chicken and curry goat, to the wings, mac and the soups. The portions are very generous and food will leave you satisfied and yearning for more. Only thing which isn't the best are the dumplings imo, however many friends and family grab it every single time. Usually grab a large jerk chicken box, what more can you honestly ask for? Also due to its high quality food and popularity, of course many of the items of the menu will have ran out after evening time.. what do you expect!?

Best oxtail I've had in a while 😋 Gonna need to be tought the recipe lol , every part of my meal was good apart from I wasn't too keen on the mac and cheese because they do it a different way. I am a foodie and I love cooking myself and Would order again from here

I go to the new Beckenham branch for lunch on most days. £499 gets you a large lunch deal with complimentary Salad or coleslaw. Always a happy face in there and ready to help. I will be turning very fat if they keep the position sizes up. Fully recommend.

Por desgracia cuando llego tarde por la noche (10:00) están fuera de la comida quiero, pero normalmente no el último de los plátanos! Precio estándar, 5 rebanadas largas por £1, pero siempre tierna (cuando el calor en casa -- No dejes que el microondas). Servicio de atención al cliente siempre es agradable; comer es siempre impecable. Sólo una estrella llevaron porque me parece inaceptable que quedaron sin comida.

Amazing food, great ambience and reasonable Caribbean food. The best jerk chicken I've ever had. It has a lovely smoked taste which you don't find at many caribbean take aways. Order from here on numerous occasions. Amazing, must visit

Disappointingly, they ran out of some of the food but didn't call to advise of this until 15 minutes after the food was due to be delivered! We had to cancel and order from somewhere else.

I've been a few times, having had the jerk chicken, jerk pork and curried goat - all were excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their lunch meals are great value.
