It was an amazing experience today from the waitress’s working there absolute best to keep the lads happy , then the food as always incredible make sure u rude down it’s worth every penny , back soon💯❤️🙏🏾

Ordered a huge special lunch, got the table all ready for delivery and this place cancelled the order! Utterly disgusting. Wouldn’t ever bother trying them again now. They don’t answer the phone or explain why, just cancel. Don’t waste your time here you’ll be let down!

If your thinking of coming here just do it I've tried alot of jerk in my time and this is up there trust me the balance of flavours were on point that atmosphere was spot on I've have nothing negative to say not one thing can't lie I think this will be a new regular eat for me well done jerk cafe you smashed it

Taste sensations with friendly service. I've been to the motherland and it tasted like i was right back in Jamaica. I would of been content sitting in Jerk Cafe grazing on all the dishes all day. We had 1 Starter (prawns) 4 mains (curry mutton, Jerk boneless thighs, Brown Stew chicken and Peppered steak) 3 sides (Roti, riece and peas, dumplings). With pineapple and ginger to drink. I rate it all 100/10 and already making arrangements to visit with more friends and family.

Me and my boyfriend visited Kent for the day as we was walking in the town we saw jerk chicken so decided to go in we had a warm opening from the staff we ordered mac and cheese 2 dumplings jerk chicken and rice and peas it was all packed with flavours and vary delicious would 100% recommend will be coming back

Wow what can I say, the food is amazing the staff are super friendly, good music nice relaxes atmosphere, and the rum punch omg definitely will be coming again and highly recommend to anyone thinking of going u will not be disappointed

Collected from here a couple of times however the last few times they’ve cancelled the orders as I’ve arrived, no reason given and unprofessional attitude. It’s a shame, although maybe the name isn’t referring to the style of food.

The fish is very good authentic Jamaican red bream fish and not seabass. The sauce is on point to perfection will be eating there again only thing is they need a landline

Another perfect outing at our number 1 west Indian restaurant. Actually i say number 1, it’s our only one because its the best we’ve had by far! Every time we have been the food is bang on, good portions and the cocktails are 🤤 🤤 🤤 “it has helped our marriage” this is an inside joke for the owner hehehe. Love you guys, cannot recommend highly enough. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out. Good food good music good vibes. Also very reasonable prices. Tonight hubby had oxtail and i had the jerk wrap 😋 very content and well fed customers as always ☺️

I’ll be honest, these patties are a violation. They’re not even freshly made patties they’re dry supermarket patties, I ordered different flavours but all the inside of each looks like brown slop, And your oxtail is dead man. Your plantain is dry, dumplin is good on the outside but the inside has a core ? Why is it crunchy? The rice is good🔥

Loved the jerk chicken rice and peas. The curry goat melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was warm,welcoming and relaxed. I enjoyed the reggae music . I have been looking for a restaurant that serves Jamaican food in Kent for a year and a half so to find a place that brought back a piece of home was fantastic. The jerk chicken was delicious!!!!

We ordered a celebratory takeaway for our daughter. We had to wait 2 hours for our food to be delivered and our daughter ended up having to go to bed without having the takeaway. We had to make her something quick about just got too late for her.

The food is sooo good here I just keep coming back for more. I like to order from here at least once a week. The people are so lovely too

The Food Quality was 10/10 Good Portion size considering I got a small everything was cooked to perfection to the point the meat was falling off the bone well seasoned up HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is the worst delivery time I have ever experienced I ordered my food nearly 4hrs before delivery. You guys should be ashamed of this wait time. The food was good but the wait was atrocious.

The delivery time originally said 50 minutes but kept going up and it eventually took 1 hour and 20 minutes, the food wasn’t even warm and the curry mutton was mainly bone. Such a shame as I’ve ordered from here several times and not had a problem before

The food was lovely. One complaint........ We wasn't overly impressed with spending £2 on a portion of coleslaw that was worth 50p

August 2024 Updates: It seems I do come every 2 years. Anyway, the food is super delicious. Super tasty and flavoursome. Although the waiting time still seems longer - i don't know why that it - if you can look past the waiting time, you'll enjoy the meals. Strangely, the pricing seems to be different from what is on the wall/board to what you're charged... or maybe it's be that didn't pay attention. Ultimately, the meals are good, and the ladies do have a good chat open to feedback that will help the business and restaurant improve their service and that's great. Updated comments 2022: I've been here before for a takeaway, and the food was decent. Well flavoured, but this time having waited for 30min, I was told food is not even closed to ready... not good experience. As we had to go asked for that update even. Customer service needs to be better, and food has to come out on time. Customers have travelled from a long way - we came from constable to rochester for this, and we could have gone anywhere else. Anyway, like I said, good food and tasty you'll find here. Adios 2021: During the pandemic, we came for a takeaway, and it was a lovely meal. It's really tasty and all. Prices seem to be quite higher than I thought, but no complaints here, and the meal was good.

Food was beautiful (as per usual). But an extra touch added this time, which I'd love to see more of in future. I love mopping up the oxtail gravy with the tasty fried dumplings, this time I had a bigger pot with more gravy and it was perfect 😁

We went to the Jerk Cafe for the Medway Cocktail week. We thought we would start there as local to us. They were very hospitable and made you feel so welcome. There, Bob Marley cocktail was the best of the night would recommend to anyone taking part in Cocktail week.🍸

Ordered food for collection. Very disappointing. Escovitch fish was very dry and did not taste fresh. 2 dishes missing from order. Standard of food has definitely decreased as I have eaten there many times before and quality of food seems to have gone downhill...

Everything was 10/10 tonight. 8 friends had a great time. And the well done to all the staff, especially the lady who kept making are drinks (rum punch)😜. They kept us going 🤣👌🏼👍🏼

I couldn’t eat the callaloo patty - it had a strange/odd flavour I - couldn’t work it out but it spoilt it for me. The curry mutton was so so salty I couldn’t eat much - but the beef patty and roti were delicious.

For collection they will say to you 4 min but you have to wait 40 min🤬

The fault of just eat not the restaurant, I don't see how me waiting 2 hours for my food is justifiable!

Wow wow wow, amazing curried mutton tonight!

I recently went to collect an order and the older lady working there overcharged me for something as small as a bigga. When I checked on just eat, and realised it was down for £2, it made sense as she had charged me £2.50 and I couldn’t believe it. It makes me realise in general, after adding things up that she overcharged me for what I bought by over £3. If this is done with multiple orders, I can see how money can be made dishonestly. Please be mindful of this if you read this. And as you can see by the response, extremely rude and unprofessional. And as you can see by the screenshot, there was no choice for a large or small bigga, this is an absolute lie. I bought two biggas which cost me £5 (not a ‘large bigga’ and a ‘large d and g’ then retrospectively went to check on their just eat and realised I was overcharged and it costed £2 on their site. For me it wasn’t about the money, but the principle, and this response sums up the kind of person that would do this. The irony of this response, talking about business. Just looking at the picture will clearly show. Notice theres no denial of being overcharged. It’s not about ‘costing too much to pay’. That is clearly deflecting from the situation. It’s about being dishonest and charging more than the actual cost. Trying to charge me extra, when it clearly shows on just eat for less. A clear dishonest move, which you have not denied. This is just someone who thought she would cheekily get away with it and not be challenged. Well, you thought wrong. Next time try fi nuh rob yuh own people!

Macaroni cheese purchased today was terrible, they hadn’t used the macaroni pasta it was just normal penne with mountains of cheese. Normally the roti’s from this shop are exceptional, however really salty today. Food is quite average, but sometimes when you can’t be bothered to eat you take out. It’s hit and miss at this eatery. Husband loved his jerk chicken. Overall it’s a 3-5 definitely room for improvement.

The food in this cafe is delicious, portions are generous the prices are most reasonable. Since this was my first visit I simply chose Jerk Chicken with rice and peas and a fried Dumpling. I received a leg and a chopped portion, a bowl with rice and peas and two portions of sauce. The Dumpling was a big ball deeply textured and thoroughly fried with a thick crispy outer layer. The chicken had a lovely spicy charred skin with meat falling off the bone, rice and peas tasted great, good enough to eat all on its own. The Dumpling, just leave me alone I'm eating my Dumpling. The people in there are friendly I felt very comfortable. Open late Tuesday through to and including Saturday which is handy. The Cafe is accessible from the back where there is a big car park, the entrance is on Commercial Road Ringo 79409 Park Mark safe cam monitored 24hours stay all that good stuff.

I came with my friend and her daughter for lunch as we have driven past this place many times and wanted to try it out, im glad we did as the food didn't disappoint plus there was a lot of options on the drinks menu and im partial to a tipple! The food was full of flavour, my favorite dishes were the Jerk Chicken and Plantain even though I don't normally eat veggie dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were decent, we spent quite a bit as wanted to try everything on the menu.Would definitely go again!!

I had ordered the Fish Platter Menu earlier that week for Good Friday 29/3/24 which was £22. I live alone and thought the time it would take me to buy all the ingredients and the hassle to cook, it would cost me than £22. The friendly receptionist called me the day before to find out what time I wanted to collect the Platter. On collection I was surprised to see how large the the Platter was. It consisted of a large Escovitch Fish, a smaller Bream, Fish Fritters, Mac & Cheese, Corn on the Cob, Plaintain, Large portion of Rice and Peas, Gravy and Coleslaw. The food was absolutely delicious and as I said the portions were large, the food lasted me over 2 days, I was very impressed. I’ve also dined-in and done takeaways over the years and I’m never disappointed. Judy
