This is a gem of a place, food is delicious and Jenny and her staff are really welcoming. If you’re in Dartmouth def a place to head for.

The food smells delicious! Jenny cooks and makes her own sauces too. I got a few treats in their deli. Just amazing! Highly recommend stopping by ❤️

Visited on a Saturday evening while visiting family in Dartmouth. They often visit and said Jenny's food is amazing. How right they were, had a wonderful evening food and wine were amazing and Jenny was a wonderful host. Will definitely visit when we next come to Dartmouth. Thanks for a fantastic evening Jenny what a wonderful little place you have.

Amazing!! Lovely little spot. The lady I met was so polite and helpful discussing food choices and the ingredients. Very enthusiastic. I had the noodles with pork “suk” and my wife had chilli and garlic prawns with noodles…..both were sensational!! The ingredients were fresh and the meal cooked from scratch. I’d eat here every day if I could!

Delicious gluten free sweet chilli beef and Siu pork for lunch followed by a gF banana bread. Great atmosphere and brilliant service.

Not to be missed if on a visit to Dartmouth. Unusual home made fillings in delicious baguettes..I had fantastic pork belly with apple and quince jelly. Lovely staff and obviously pround Owner. We will be back. Menu changes daily lots of vegetarian options.You may need to reserve at busy times.

We had another lovely lunch the other week. The rice bowl with the mest toppings was absolutely delicious. A big thumbs up to Jenny Koos and her amazing food!

Just back from the most delicious pre-booked evening meal for three of us (2 adults and a 13 year old). It was a calm, warm evening which made it even nicer to be sat outside. Lovely welcome and service from Leanne and Jenny. Every mouthful was full of flavour and the right balance of spice. Lovely wine, too! We have been intending to come here before, and certainly will now be visiting again very soon. Thank you 🤩

Fantastic food and service, including in a really busy time at the music festival. The baguettes are glorious, thanks for another fabulous lunch!

This place is in such a nice location nice place for a latte and a chill.....BUT after being told the coffee machine had been turned off we were blankly being told that buying 1 soft drink when there was 4 of us in our party was not very mindful. It's not our fault that there's no coffee we wanted coffee.....but we were made to feel awkward and unwelcome buy a middle aged guy who clearly wanted us to buy alcohol......won't be stopping here again

Had breakfast. Asian steak and eggs. Waa the best breakfast I have ever had. Service was amazing and pricing was good. Dog friendly too. Go and visit this place. You won't be disappointed.

I booked an evening table for 10 at the end of November… it’s outdoors under a gazebo but there were heaters to keep us all cosy and the brilliant touch of picnic blankets on each chair to keep us extra snug. The set up was beautiful, lots of Asian paper lanterns and lights. The staff were just fantastic. The food… wow! I gave Jenny a free rein to cook what she liked cooking and I’m so glad I did. We had a couple of allergies amongst our group and they were catered for fantastically. I can’t tell you what the best plate was… we had quite a few, but the crab cakes, or was it the venison curry… I can’t decide. Book and go! You won’t regret it.

Found this wonderful place hidden away in The Market. Decided to try one of the pasties! WOW best pasty I have ever had in my life and the owner was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

A little hidden gem, nothing special to look at but amazing food, absolutely amazing! Great gluten free options - you MUST try the GF Laksa. There were five in our party, two had lobster Laksas, one had chicken Laksa, one had pork belly Laksa and finally a crab baguette. All of us were fighting as to whose meal was the best. Honestly, outstanding food; highly recommend!

Booked for a 30th birthday dinner for 7people. Jenny called in advance to get a feel for the kind of food we’d like and we trusted her choice of menu from there. Absolutely fantastic food, every dish was a delight and they just just kept coming - excellent value for money. Service and atmosphere in private courtyard was amazing. Red and rosé wines were really nice and reasonably priced (£22/23). Could not recommend for evening meals enough. Jenny also made a carrot cake for the birthday boy which was exquisite. Thank you Jenny and Lewis for a wonderful evening - we’ll be back!

Don’t what ever you do order the pastie!!! Must be awarded the cheapest nastiest grey sludge filled pasty I have ever had. Even the dog was hesitant. Lovely atmosphere leads you into a purchase. Reply. Simple solution is not to sell cheap frozen rubbish. Lots of amazing bakers around to supply your outlet. Honestly change supplier. Charge more if you need to. Just don’t try and profit from cheap mass produced nasties.

This cafe became my local during my stay. Amazing coffee, the most delicious savory muffins, outstanding friendly service and the best tips and conversation not to mention the location. Highly recommend this from the bottom of my heart.

Visit on 29th June 2023 food excellent the baguette bread is probably the best I’ve ever had we couldn’t fault the food or the service, staff very friendly and took time to chat to us and you can get a nice cold beer with your food. I would highly recommend

We went for breakfast! My partner had the chilly jam sausage roll that was amazing!!! And I had the salmon and avo on toast again so delicious!

A lovely shady area, beautifully cool out of the sun. The service was excellent; friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was excellent; delicious and different, very, VERY, tasty and all for a very reasonable price. If you like Asian and Asian-influenced food then you must try this place. All this and dog-friendly too.

Absolutely fabulous food in an old town market place , stunning host and owner who caters for everything , best vslue for money food in town ! I would suggest to the owner to use the msin entrance to this historic building as it drawers you into the warmth and sophisticate outdoor dining area well covered , 5 stars all around Well done Jenny Zkoos kitchen well deserved accolade! Breakfast at Jenny Koo's in this atmospheric old market Square has become an essential part of our trips to Dartmouth.

Eat here! I had the most delicious Chinese crackling pork with fresh coleslaw - it was out of this world! If you're in town, head to Jenny Koo's kitchen and treat yourself.

My wife and I popped in after seeing the Pandan cake in the window on a Saturday morning. We had a lovely chat with Jenny and bought a few pieces of cake and sausage rolls for our lunch. Jenny warned us that the Pandan cake would be nice, but it was amazing, the coconut frosting was 10/10! We’ll be coming back whenever we’re in Dartmouth, we can’t wait to try other food!

Inside the old marketplace, this is a delightful cafe with lovely staff and great produce. Delicious coffee. I bought one of their Pasties which was scrumptious. Good value, great produce, great people.

Fantastic cafe, really fresh delicious food & cocktails were on point. Absolutely loved how the owner came out & told us the background story about how the Dragon cocktail came to be!! Lovely surroundings situated just inside the market Square.

Delicious takeaway on Saturday night. Yummy spicy chicken and equally yummy Shitake mushroom and tofu veggie option. Great to have proper homecooked Asian food served by friendly and helpful team.

A great lunch in a picturesque setting. Our chicken baguettes were delicious.

After ordering scones we were asked if we wanted butter. To my surprise the charge was 75p for two little packs. When questioned was told that butter was very expensive. Probably wouldn't have queried it if the butter was included with the scones.

Beware of rude middle age man, manager / owner with serious anger management problem. Edited on 03/09/2021 Judging by the customer reviews on popular trip review website, the individual in question, is described as arrogant, snappy and obnoxious. Apparently he physically threatened and swore at a customer. It is a very poor justification on your part, to blame the man's behaviour on the 'uncertain times'.

I cannot recommend Jenny Koo's Kitchen enough. It was fantastic to get a chance to talk with her when she came out the kitchen - so friendly & passionate about food! The baggette with delicious mushrooms, lettuce and melt in the mouth vegan cheese was heavenly tasty. Also so fresh and heated up to perfection. It was the best I've ever eaten at a cafe! The coffee cake was fluffy with a creamy marbelled topping; unmissable! Thank you Jenny for the best lunchtime treat!

First visit. Sausage roll, Victoria sponge, tea, pastel de nata, quiche. Everything perfect. We’ll be back soon :)

Fantastic home-cooked and delicious food, made with care and passion, what more could you ask for! We stopped in here on a rainy day and were warmed by fantastic Mac and cheese, tasty homemade soup and cheese scones, and Jonathan’s singing! Jenny is delightful and very knowledgable about the local area - we will definitely be returning!

Jenny kindly sorted us out with food and buns at short notice during lockdown - and what a find this deli was . The best pork buns I have ever had , succulent ribs , light and tasty tofu dish and wonderful curried chicken . Authentic food cooked with passion and care . Highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Superb sour dough bread and enjoyed a suitably socially distanced takeaway of beef curry, spicy chicken wings and ribs which was much loved by all ages. We'll be back!

Advertised on their pin-up board they boost by claiming the Rated Number 1 Devon Cream Tea and Scone shop. We were bitterly disappointed. Scone was hand and dry , the cream was sticky and the jam processed. An insult to proper baked scones and Devonshire cream .

A lovely little gem. 4 scones with cream tea (swapped for pure orange juice for the kids) for a little under £20 was great value based on the kindness of staff and high quality food and drinks. Deli looks lovely too with a good range of cheeses and jams etc. Recommended

Lovely Devon Cream Tea. Nice Baguettes and super Tart Limon. Coffee's good too! All outside seating with umbrellas so a bit "weather dependent" The fresh bread baked daily is excellent and they keep lots of local cheeses and chutneys. Recommend!

Fabulous gem of a place to sit and watch the world go by, whilst enjoying an ice cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The food is all cooked on the premises, and include such delights as homemade pasties, sausage rolls, tarts and the most wonderful crusty bread. We spent many a happy hour in the deli during the Dartmouth Music Festival, and had a wonderful time. Raine, the owner is a lovely lady, as are the rest of her staff - very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth a visit, preferably when you have a couple of hours to while away the time - WONDERFUL!!!!
