Jeitta in Woking

When I spoke to the restaurant, they were abusive and rude, would just say it was the driver fault as he was late, although he said he was waiting for the food to be cooked. Food was just a mess cold and inedible.

Jeitta Restaurant is full of surprises! From the outside, it looks quite casual, but stepping in reveals a stunning Arabic-inspired ambience with low lighting and gorgeous jumeurs that create a cosy, almost magical atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. We were greeted with a sauce and pita bread platter that was absolutely delicious—a great way to start the meal. The hummus with pita bread was a standout and something I’d highly recommend. The soujouk was packed with flavour and had the perfect level of spice, the Lahm Meshwi Kafta Harra was hands down the best curry I’ve ever had. When they say it’s spicy, it’s actually spicy - which I am absolutely a fan of! The roasted chicken and shawarma, however, was just alright—not something I’d order again, and I felt the same about the Knafe. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely return for the incredible flavours and unique atmosphere!

Food so delicious 😋 but if the price goes down will everything super I only give 4* because of the price

when order the ETA was 8 pm. Received message to say "slight delay" turned out to be 1 hour 15 mins. The food however was good.

I’ve eaten here both with a large group from work as well as several times with my family and this establishment is consistently excellent! The quality of the food and service never disappoints and the quantity is such that you need to remember not to eat for most of the remainder of the day in order to be able to do the meal justice. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Unclear why the reviews are good. Went today 18 Jan 2025 for 8 people. Had the £30 set menu that cost £38 with other charges. Food was not worth the money. Some basic houmous and pita bread. Main was a few kebabs with a few pieces of baklava. Never going back as basically cheap crap.

This is my favourite restaurant in Woking ! The food is always fresh and delicious , And they always bring the food Out very quickly to my son ! I even buy extra chilli sauce to take home the flavours are Just amazing they won’t disappoint ! Reasonable prices and a calm atmosphere Also the juices are freshly made Carrot juice is my favourite !

Abdullah was amazing. The King Prawns and the Grilled Lamb are the best.

No customer service and food was basic

Disappointing experience. Although the opening time is listed as 22:00, we arrived at 21:00 only to be told the kitchen was already closed. This is misleading and frustrating for customers. Please update your opening times to reflect the actual hours to avoid wasting people’s time.

Great restaurant, you are sure to enjoy. It’s a take your own alcohol restaurant. The Fattoush salad had peppers in it which was not as I have ever had it before, bit strange!

Excellent place with the added bonus that you can bring your own drink in to the restaurant. The food is excellent with a variety of exceptional flavours. Lovely simple ingredients served well. The service seemed a tad slow when we were there and I detected and saw a slight conflict of emotion between two of the service staff but this did not deter from enjoying the food. Overall,great value for money.

We had a quick meal 45 minutes before the theatre. They gave us a quick and lovely meal and we made it to the performance. Polite and helpful, and the food is delicious.

I pre-ordered a large takeaway menu for a garden party of 50 people with lots of vegetarians, some non-beef and non-pork guests so Lebanese was a natural choice. Have eaten at Jeitta many times and always enjoyed the food. They were very helpful in discussing options. Food came exactly at the time we'd ordered, was beautifully prepared and everyone commented on how delicious it was.

Not as great as previous orders. Ordered three items. Two items were charred, another overcooked and sand in the salad. Very disappointed.

One of thee best experiences we had thus far at a restaurant! From the moment we entered the restaurant, Abdullah, I hope I have the right name, was extremely welcoming, his hospitality was exceptional. If you want a taste of pure Labanese cuisine, culture and hospitality, then Jietta is the place to go. Mouthwatering dishes with some spicy sauces of your choice, they only use fresh produce throughout their menu and it shows in the taste! We'll definitely dine with Jietta again, thank you very much! 💛 🤤 👌

Good place to go for food, and easily accessible. Portions sizes good from what I recall but I would really prefer it if they made their bread fresh or at least warmed it up when serving it. Otherwise, juices brilliant and food great

We tried this restaurant for lunch. We only wanted something small. Ended up trying many small dishes including 1 entree to share. We were not disappointed.

Well located Lebanese restaurant in Woking. Beautifully decorated with friendly staff members. Many options of delicious food to choose from, starters are around £7, main meals around £18. Definitely worth a visit

One of my favourite places to enjoy authentic Lebanese shawarma 😍If I want to treat my family or myself I will come here. Unfortunately we went to Guildford the other day and saw another Jeita over there n thought it was your franchise and happily went in to get greatly disappointed. Their food was too expensive with very very small portion, served in small plates. my kids were still hungry even after I paid over £20/ dish. You guys should really soak to them to make them change their name as they could tarnish your reputation!! Luckily we asked that if it was same Jeitta as Yours but they said NO! If someone didn't ask them it could have given you a bad name Thank you very much for giving us truly authentic flavour, very good service lovely place and decent prices with enough food in one portion.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Service was so polite, efficient and accommodating. The quality and freshness of the food was evident from the first mouthful to the last. We had 4 starters as opposed to a main so we could sample more dishes - great idea. Genuinely exceptional value and we recommend without hesitation.

Lamb was pink and very hard. Asked them to sort and they put it back on grill, burned it and served to me.no taste either.

We had one of the sharing platter for two deals and didn't realise the first platter was just the starters and we had one full of meat coming soon, great amount of food that tasted wonderful, next time I think we'll ask for them to bring both plates out together and not ask for extra bread 😁

What a great place! The best falafel I've had in ages. The veggie moussaka was incredible too. It's BYO, and the service was friendly and speedy.

The food was very good, but the service is very poor, gave us our food at that wS it, no further contact, we had to keep asking for things, like water, more food, just did not show any interest to the customer, and it was not busy, would not return

I was quite disappointed as it's not my first time dinning in this restaurant, that's why I decided to bring my colleagues there. They enjoyed it but not me. Food was cold Two waitress was working on that evening, To get their attention was challenging as there was few table with groups of people.

Love it here, you get a lot of food for your money and it is always excellent. You can take your own alcohol and they charge corkage.

We went on Saturday evening and took our own drinks as the place is unlicensed. The food was excellent. Service was good but the whole experience was spoilt by extremely loud music being played over the speakers at the end of our meal. It was so loud we couldn't speak to each other and we were not the only table that left sooner than planned as a result. I quite understand that there was a birthday celebration, but it meant one table's entertainment took over the whole restaurant, which was a shame.

Great tasting food, and great service overall.

The food is very good and well presented. There is a wide range of traditional dishes on the menu. We came for lunch, and there was only a few tables being used (wet and windy Thursday). Portions are generous, glad we only ordered just main course!

As an arab who has tried countless lebanese and arabic/ turkish grill places, I was not impressed. It was just ok, this is going to be a detailed review. Service was low, our waiter spoke poor English and some arabic. Bread was microwaved, wet and then became rock hard in minutes expectedly. The mixed appitizer platter was ok but tabbouleh was largely chopped and dry, stuffed vine leaves was from a can and not even a good brand. Hummus, baba ghanoush, kibbeh and mini meat pastries were lovely and delicious. Falafel is ok. We got a mixed grill which was very good, well cooked, could be more spiced but good quality meat, the rice that came with it was clumpy. I have hygeiene concerns though which is why I won't go back. The straws that came with the drinks were dusty from the inside, I was drinking dust and the ladies bathroom is very very poorly maintained, there is broken sink plumbing which they patched up but still leaking and it isnt clean. Update: went back for a work dinner and actually was much better. The lamb shank is amazing! Mixed grill again so good. Bread was better and I knew what to order for appetisers. They get another star from me. Service remains a problem, on a Saturday evening there was only one waitress. And the toilet, they really need to sort it out.

I have been to Jeitta serveral times in last few years, always good experience. But last visit with my guests was such a nightmare I have decided to not come back again. Guy on counter very rude I requested him to prepare a special plater for us but He refused. Then food was very poorly cooked, chicken was almost row. Such a bad experience. Must not go to Jeitta.

The most delicious Lebanese food. Generous helpings, tasty and authentic. Take your own alcohol as they are not licensed.

Very poor quality food, dry lamb skewers and very dry chicken. The service was slow and inattentive. The food tasted like it was yesterdays left overs warmed up. The pitta was microwaved (visible from the dining area) and was chips were really bad and smelt of old oil. Diet Coke cans were bought out closed and at room temperature, hummus came 10 minutes after the pittas were given to us. I eat out 2-3 times a week so have experienced a lot of restaurants but from South to North England this was the worst meal I have had out for a while. The kebab centre in New Haw cooks far more tasty lamb and chicken with lots flavour and succulent every time! Very disappointing and certainly wont ever go back.

We love having food here always for over 10 years but got so disappointed last week when we drove all the way from Guildford just to have chicken shawarma. Unfortunately, the worst way it was made stuffed with most of salad minimal chicken had no taste couldn't taste sauce for takeaway 1 star for the food, unfortunately had to ask them for extra white sauce but had non luckily took some chillisauce.

Came with hub for lunch. No desserts, no juices, no ayran. Awfully mushy rice and four pieces of lamb. Two crushed falafels in a dry bread passing off as a sandwich for £10! We spent £26. Not coming back. The two middle eastern stalks in market walk are Far Better value for money.

The food was lovely, you get large portions so it is good value for money. It was not too busy but the service was fairly quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

This place used to be good a few years back, but recently took a turn for the worst. We’ve been disappointed by the quality of the food and service in recent days. Our last time was probably the last when we got some expired hummus takeaway and they totally denied of any wrongdoing. They asked me to come in so this can be “sorted” and when I went in with the bad hummus, they denied me a refund and said the manager is not available. Disgusted that I had to have a heated argument for just £6.50 in front of my son. I find it quite sad, because this restaurant used to be my families favorite go-to place and we’ve given them thousands pounds of business. We miss the old management, and hope someone comes and turns this place around!

Nice staff, nice ambiente, great food and good portions. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I was missing some oriental flavours tonight, which their food used to have in the past.

Good food and very nice atmosphere but no alcohol, you could buy alcohol from outside and use , if needed. Parking is bit difficulty in that area, paid parking nearby (walking distance 10 minutes)...

We came into Woking to go to our favourite Lebanese place unfortunately they were closed .. So we found this as an alternative , Food wise I enjoyed the fresh falafel and my partner raved about their tabbouleh . I was a little disappointed by the bread it had clearly been reheated as it had that slightly damp nature that reheated bread does My main was excellent the chicken was tender and the portions were ample , The service was prompt and friendly and despite it being a wet Tuesday night they had sat the diners close enough so there was still some atmosphere. This place is BYOB and we didn't know prior to walking in so my dreams of a cheeky midweek pint with my falafel were dashed an advantage for many but one to know if you're going.

A lovely place with a great atmosphere. There's a variety of dishes and I've never been disappointed. Plus I'm always surprised when the bill comes and it's so reasonable. No alcohol is served but you can bring your own.

We had been there 13th June 23 with a group. We ordered the 40 GBP esch course for 4 p. Which was great in terms of variety, taste and service ! Very delicious, would glad to be there again. Also house-made lemonade is a recommendation. Can improve in ambiente outside.

Polite and friendly staff who were eager to help. The food was very good, we enjoyed our experience and will return for sure. The only negative thing I could say is that they do not sell their hot sauce for you to take away, which may in fact be a good thing with how much I would of bought if we were able to.
