Jay's Grill Bar in Glasgow City

Okay, but I would not recommend for a big group. I felt like you had to lean over each other to reach the grill, lots of choice of meats but tasted quite plain. The bottomless drinks option was really good though and nice choice of deserts. Lots of warning signs about getting charged for extra food waste so feel like you really couldn't enjoy yourself. I was disappointed when I used the toilets and seen a member of staff come out the loo after using it and not wash their hands! Gross. I ended up feeling sick after and having an upset stomach, probably from all the risk from cross contamination from cooked and raw meat. I would not return as we were hammered with a service charge at the end, when we did all the work of cooking the food. Might be nicer to go as a couple though but I will not be back.

Muy bien. Probamos hotpot en Amsterdam mientras estábamos en un descanso y lo vivimos y queríamos probar de nuevo en nuestro territorio. Quedamos impresionados. Un montón de comida para elegir y la comida es de alta calidad también. La selección de postres fue impresionante con algunos artículos de gama muy alta que realmente realzaron la comida. (A menudo el postre se descuida en el buffet pero no aquí). El único problema es hacer tu propia salsa. Las instrucciones no son claras y las etiquetas del nombre del ingrediente no coinciden con la receta. No está muy claro. Sería bueno si hubiera una hoja de tiempo de cocción para la olla caliente también. Como solo tienes que adivinar cuando las cosas se cocinan.

Mi pareja y yo vinimos aquí ya que estábamos de visita en glasgow. Teníamos una reserva para 8 pero terminamos siendo media hora antes (mi miedo de llegar tarde 🤣) y nuestra mesa estaba todo listo para nosotros! conseguimos nuestro caldo (cordero es el mejor! ) , nuestras bebidas, y luego empezar a cocinar a la parrilla y cosas en el caldo. todo estaba perfectamente fresco y oh Dios mío, estábamos en el cielo! honestamente la mejor comida que he tenido en mi vida. si estás en glasgow recomiendo encarecidamente una visita! fue difícil al final para nosotros tratar de obtener nuestras 34 libras de valor, pero cuando se considera la frescura de la carne, el excelente servicio del personal que literalmente no podía hacer lo suficiente para usted, y la sabrosura general de cada plato, definitivamente hicieron que valió la pena. volveré de nuevo cuando vuelva a glasgow!

No hay elección de plato aquí. Es un restaurante coreano de barbacoa y ollas calientes. Si quieres un bibimbap o algo por el estilo, tienes que ir a otro lado. El plato caliente se puede dividir en dos, por lo que una persona podría tener un caldo de verduras y otra el de pollo. Comimos pollo en una mitad y uno medio caliente en la otra mitad. Se llama "medio caliente", pero era súper picante. Luego te sirves lo que quieras asar o poner en el caldo. Hay casi todo lo que se puede imaginar – cordero (dos tipos) , carne de vacuno (muchos tipos) , lengua, mollejas, pollo, cerdo, pescado, calamares, gambas ... un montón de diferentes tipos de hongos, verduras de varios tipos, varios tofu, fideos, arroz ... Crea tus propias salsas. Incluso hay postre. Tienes dos horas sentada para comer todo lo que quieras. ¿Comimos 34 libras en comida? No. ¿Lo disfrutamos? ¡Por supuesto! El personal era muy amable y servicial.

Gran comida, con un montón de opciones tanto para la olla caliente y barbacoa. Puedes usar tanto la olla caliente como los quemadores de barbacoa simultáneamente. Nuestro servidor (lo siento, se me olvidó su nombre) era amable y muy servicial. Me encantaría ir de nuevo.

Friendly informative staff. They explained how everything works and helped make your broth and sauce the way you wanted it. Perfect for a picky diner like me as I got to have my food exactly how I wanted. Can't wait to go back!

Great place! So interesting to try and cook your own food at the table. Amazing food, good quality meet and tasty flavouring and seasoning. Staff are lovely and the bottomless rice, meat, festers and drinks were amazing value for £33!

Our adopted daughter got married today, she's originally from Vietnam, and Jay's was her restaurant of choice to celebrate her wedding. Me and her dad had never been before as we live in Devon. What a wonderful experience. I'm disabled and they have a lift and the staff were great at helping me. The choices are amazing, with many Asian influences. You collect what you want to eat and cook it at the table, Vietnamese "hotpot " style. There's everything you could imagine, beef, seafood. The oyster balls are out of this world. We were a bit phased at first but soon got into flow. Food was fresh and healthy and the staff are fabulous. If we lived in Glasgow we'd be eating here all the time.

It was my best Korean restaurant experience. All ingredients are fresh and it's an all you can eat, but if you left something in your plate or pot you have to pay a fine which is a nice strategy to prevent food waste. Staff are very helpful and give advice on what to do and teach you how to mix up some amazing dipping sauces for bbq. It was an expensive lunch that completely worthed.

Obsessed with this place. I've introduced the hotpot to my friends and they cant stop talking about it. This place is amazing. Defo not cheap but worth it. So many options to choose from. Amazing selection of bbq meats. Will be back many times . Love this place
