Jay Jay's in Great Yarmouth

Lovely sunny day for a brisk walk along Gorleston seafront which was completed with fish and Chips at J J’s. We’ve been here a number of times over recent years and they always offer good food,cakes, drinks and value for money. The beach is always spotless and flys a blue flag for being one of the cleanest in the area. Cycling and dog walking is also encouraged. I would highly recommended a visit and would say you will not be dissatisfied.

Would not recommend, really rude staff with bad attitudes plus not allergy friendly either. Nothing like the big cafe so deffo save your self the hassle and disappointment walk down to that one.

If you want to stand in the sun for 10 mins in the queue and have everyone que jump you like they are seagulls with food and no one serving you then this is the place to be. Do yourself a favour and go to the Italian ice cream one opposite. Better service. They're not all kids working too. I'm still here and still ignored. Leaving now lol

What's not to like? Great selection of ice cream flavours, best beach in UK and the sun was out. Ideal!

Bought some ice creams here on Saturday and thought the service was very poor. Young staff didn't seem they wanted to be there, didn't listen to my order, didn't know how much to charge! I guess we were charged correctly I had had enough and just wanted to get away. Definitely not using again. Sooo different from the staff at the Café.

Shocking to see the young worker there shouting at a man, louder and louder 'Is anybody waiting to be served?' The man was only there for 10 seconds looking at the flavours. The young worker then turned to others who he had just finished serving and exclaimed 'Yeah, coz I've got all day haven't I...'. It turns out that the man was deaf.

Great service, I recommend the peanut butter and cookie dough ice cream combo 😋

The woman who always seems to be working here never smiles, no manners, no please or thank you. She tuts and sighs at customers. Proper charmer she is!
